Epilogue

Loving daughter, wife, and mother. Sickness may have taken over her body but not her soul and living, vibrant spirit.

"Thirteen years of seperation..." A soft voice mumbled. There's an inhale through his nose and an exhale through his mouth. He began laying down a flower from the bouquet of Zinnias and Strawflowers varying uniquely in shape and color.

"I'm sure you already know this mom but, my boyfriend, Eren, has lost his mother recently. And, this is selfish but as I was comforting him, all I could think about was you and losing a part of my life. I understood how Eren felt cause like him, I lost a mother as well. You and Carla Jaeger are two different people, although you're both similar. A single soul divide into two bodies. You both sacrificed yourselves for the ones you love and without hesitation. You're both caring homebodies who could do own their own and carried yourselves with elegance, poise and confidence. All the traits a mother should have when caring for a family, whether big or small," he paused briefly. Laying down a few more flowers on her grave.

"My ex-fiance, Petra and I are on good terms now. She's recently announced her pregnancy and I hope you'll give her all the guidance and strength she needs to birth and care for her child. She's married now. To a horrible human being... Ms. Jaeger... We've found your killer and it's up to Eren and I to bring you justice. Even though you're not one for petty revenge, this is the least I can do."

Another flower.

"I want the best for Eren. And for the people I'm surrounded by. Mikasa, Erwin, Hanji believe it or not, Petra, her child, even Eren's shit friends except for Armin, he's a good level headed respectable person. I promise you Carla, I'm going to take of Eren an provides him with what he needs everyday and keep him happy. And I promise you mom, that'll I'll be a better man than I am now, I'll continue to make you proud and show Eren I'm his soulmate... Because believe it or not..."

Levi kissed the head of his mother's tombstone and laid down the last flower and stood with a radiating, confident aura that would make anyone respect him.

"I'm going to marry him."
