"You again!" The grown wolf snapped angrily making Artemis narrow her eyes,"I thought I had seen the last of you when Jackson died." He sneered making Artemis grit her teeth in frustration,"And I was hoping you'd stay away-" He started as he leaned closer to the goddess. His fangs sharpened and his lip curled menacingly as he put a clawed hand on the table precariously close to her arm. If Artemis had been anyone else she would have been unnerved by the man's piercing blue eyes and overbearing size. She would have cowered from him unsheathed claws and wicked sharp fangs. And she would backed away due to the man's intimidating nature and his overwhelming muscle mass. But she wasn't just anyone and she wasn't at all intimidated by the werewolf before her.

Artemis slammed her hands down on the table angrily,"And why is that?" She snarled as she leaned closer to the blonde, her silver eyes sparked with anger, and her jaw was clenched tightly. Her own anger was almost as intense as the wolf's. Her hand slid down to her silver knife just in case and she didn't bother sparing a glance at the curious Phoebe and Percy who watched the two quietly.

The wolf chuckled coldly,"You got Percy Jackson killed." He spat as he backed up slightly and ran a hand through his hair. He began to pace around in the kitchen as Artemis watched him warily, knowing full well that wolves were unpredictable,"And I was hoping...you wouldn't slaughter his reincarnation. And I know full well that you used Percy for information. You never loved him." The blonde snarled as he stopped pacing and towered over the goddess once again.

Percy's eyes widened and he glanced at Phoebe,"Reincarnation? Information?" He whispered in confusion and she shrugged before turning her attention back to the two.

Artemis laughed mockingly,"I got him killed?" She was nearly in hysterics at the ridiculousness of it all,"He willingly risked his life to save the hunt! And I didn't see you at his funeral, mongrel, you didn't even say goodbye. Since you loved him oh so much, surely you should have been there, and surely you should have helped out Snow when she needed someone! You weren't there! I was!" She roared as she stood up from her seat angrily and the chair behind her clattered to the floor.

Phoebe spoke up quickly,"Look! I don't really understand what's going on but if we could just calm-"

Bear let out a growl as he glowered at the goddess,"Don't you ever question my love for Percy!" There was a moment of silence as Bear gripped the edge of the countertop in anguish,"I...you can't blame me for not being there." He breathed as his eyes moistened temporarily before they once again hardened,"And-"

Artemis interjected,"You can't use excuses! We all loved Percy! But none of us skipped out and left people who needed us to grieve alone." She hissed and Bear narrowed his eyes,"And do you want to explain to me as to why Percy and Phoebe didn't know who I was? Or that Artemis is even a goddess." She questioned heatedly,"They are informed of all of the other gods but me."

Bear smirked darkly at her,"Why do you think you weren't mentioned?" He asked venomously as his eyes darkened.

Artemis's face turned red in anger,"Because of your childish vendetta against me! If anything I should be angry at you for harboring Percy for so long!" Artemis yelled,"Everyone missed him and you've had him to yourself for fifteen years-"

"I didn't know-" Artemis finally ticked.

"HOW COULDN'T YOU NOTICE EARLIER!" Artemis screamed,"LOOK AT HIS EYES, YOU IDIOT! MAYBE IF YOU WEREN'T SO DENSE-" She was silenced with a rough slap to the face. And then all chaos broke lose. Percy was on his feet in an instant, he grabbed his father by his shirt and slammed into the refrigerator, his eyes were pitch black and his fangs were bared as he let out a snarl.

"Don't touch her!" He roared as he slammed Bear into the fridge again to emphasize his point. He didn't know where this overprotectiveness came in. He didn't understand what was going on about him being reincarnated, he didn't understand about the funeral Bear didn't go to, and he didn't understand why he snapped the way he did when the goddess was hit. All he understood was that no one could touch her. Not even his father.

His inner rage was lighting him up like a Christmas tree. It was a type of rage he had never been accustomed to before. Not even when boys hit on his sister. He had always been rather calm for a werewolf and he prided himself in that. But now, now he had lost all sense of sanity and felt instincts take over. And his instincts screamed to protect Artemis.

Phoebe yanked Percy away from their father,"What is wrong with you!" Phoebe snapped as she shoved Percy away. The boy shook violently as he saw his sister side with his father. He wasn't thinking straight. He was just so angry and he had no idea as to why.

"Touch her again and I'll kill you!" He growled to Bear who appeared stunned and then turned to Phoebe,"Same goes for you." He hissed and she looked murderous.

"Oh, first you can interfere with my love life all the time, then you attack dad, and now you defend someone you barely even know! Does family mean anything to you-"

"Don't you dare lecture me about family!" Percy bristled,"Because a good sister wouldn't have yelled at me for wanting a mother." He replied icily making Phoebe turn red in anger and shame. Artemis's eyes widened and she pulled Percy by the arm. He wasn't thinking straight. He didn't know what he was doing and this could incredibly worse if she didn't get him out of here.

"Hey...Percy come on." She murmured in a quiet voice and Percy relaxed slightly as she dragged him out of the house. As if regaining his wits he pulled away from her when they began walking on the sidewalk.

He looked at Artemis in confusion,"Why...why did that happen? I don't know you-"

Artemis sighed,"But you do." She paused as she ushered him to keep walking,"It's a long story...but I'm willing to tell you it if you're willing to listen." She murmured and he looked down at her as he shoved his hands in his pockets and looked down at his shoes.

"I'm good at listening." He whispered as realization of what he had done and said to his family stuck him. He needed an explanation as to why he had gone so crazy. And as he looked at the red hand print on the side of Artemis's face he scowled. She noticed this and frowned at him in confusion.

"What?" She asked, silver eyes looked up at him nervously. Was he mad at her?

"Dad...shouldn't have hit you...but you shouldn't have yelled at him." Percy murmured as he glared at the hand imprint angrily,"But he...he shouldn't have hit you." He said again, at a loss for words, he had never been smooth with the ladies. And he's never been a good supporter of others when they were hurt or sad. He'd always been blunt, charmless, and irritable. And with Artemis he was no different.

She sighed softly and shrugged,"When you were Percy Jackson...your old self before you picked rebirth," She started and he nodded slowly, showing he understood,"you hit me a lot too." She shrugged again as his eyes widened,"But so did I. We hated each other when we first met." She might as well have started from the beginning. She looked up at the sky to see the moon shining brightly overhead. Streetlights glowed dimly in the night and stars were barely visible in the ocean of dark blue above them.

Percy furrowed his eyebrows,"Why did we hate each other?" Apparently they got over it because of their makeout session they had earlier that day.

Artemis smiled slightly at the memories of their fighting days,"You were a werewolf and I'm a goddess who killed them when they stepped out of line. Things between you and I were very complicated." And as the two sat down on a park bench she divulged into story after story. Telling Percy of these great adventures the two went on. Expressing her affection for his mischievousness and scolding his temper when he would fight with the hunt. And Percy listened to the good and the bad of his life. And man had it been filled with bad. But as he listened intently to the goddess talk about their relationship, about Zoe, about Phoebe, about Jackie, and about Lycaon he could feel his skepticism grow. He wondered if they were exaggerated stories.

But from the look in her eyes as she spoke he knew they weren't. They had such mirth in them as she happily spoke of the times they bickered and got in snowball fights and built snowmen and fought together tirelessly. He watched them flicker from happiness to pain as she spoke of his betrayal and how she kicked him out of the hunt.

And her eyes brightened as talked about finding him again and how he saved her from the sky and Atlas. Only to harden again as she explained to him his memory loss. The raw emotions that decorated her face was an indicator that she felt strongly for him. And at one point he had too.

And though he didn't love Artemis like she did him, he'd never forget the look on her face as she told him about how they went inside his head. He'd never forget the look of clarity and happiness Artemis showed as she animatedly told him all they had seen. All that they had been through as they travelled deep within his memories. And it warmed him to the very core when she expressed her joy of him returning to her.

He made her feel all this happiness? All this pain and anguish and anger? That's how much she cared for him?

And as he studied her he could understand why the old Percy fell for the woman. She was beautiful, stubborn, a fighter, and all these other things that he'd be attracted to. But what really caught his attention the most was how much Artemis had cared about him. After all the times he had screwed up, after every gap in their relationship, despite every fault in his character, despite all the taint in his morality...this woman had still loved him unconditionally. Even when she beat him up or screamed at him or verbally attacked him, she had never given up on him and that was a testament to the wolf.

All his life his only constants had been his father and Phoebe. They were there every step of the way and would follow him to hell and back without hesitation. But now, as he watched the teary eyed Artemis describe his death, as he watched her turn away from him and clutch her chest at the memory because "life without him had been dull and long" he realized that she was another one. Artemis was always there. She supported him, beat him up when needed, laughed with him, cried with him, loved him. And that spoke volumes to him.

And he knew he wouldn't instantly fall back in love with the woman that had done so much for him. But he also knew that he would eventually fall for her again. Because she was so amazing...infuriating...but amazing. And as he watched a couple tears slip down her cheeks as she mentioned his and Phoebe's death he knew he had to stop them.

"I...I'm not sure how to comfort you appropriately." He confessed as he blushed and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly,"Er...do you wish to be hugged or..." He let out a nervous laugh,"Oh gods I'm so bad at this." He mumbled and he heard a tinkling laughter. He looked up to see Artemis laughing at him.

Her eyes now shined with mirth rather than unshed tears,"You're so different now." She commented as she watched him in amusement.

He knew old Percy was super suave and charismatic with the ladies, something he wasn't,"Good different or bad different?" He asked quietly as the goddess assessed him.

She didn't know. She'd always love her old Percy. Her raven haired, mischievous, trouble making, cold hearted, Mr. Smooth Percy. She'd always love him no matter what because...he was her first love. He had done so much for her and gave up so much to make her happy. Sacrificing himself to save her, to save her hunt, and he'd do anything to make her smile.

She honestly couldn't say she loved her new Percy yet. But she knew she would. He shared his cold hearted trait with his previous life along with his good looks and his brutal honesty. But there was no smoothness with the opposite sex, no crooked smirk, no wicked grin, no mischievous pranks, no rude jokes. That didn't mean this Percy wasn't as special as her old one. It just meant he was different and she had expected nothing less.

"I'll guess we'll find out...won't we?" She whispered and Percy smiled slightly before looking at her once again.

"I guess we will...though if you don't mind...I'd like to start off as friends." He began and instantly felt like a total loser. He most definitely wanted to be more than friends with the attractive goddess. But he didn't feel the love that he had in his previous life for her. He felt the protectiveness but not the affection. At least not yet.

Artemis nodded patiently,"I agree. I'd like to get to know you...again." She smiled brilliantly at him and his breath hitched. GAH! WHY WAS HE SO BAD AT THIS!

Give her the smirk.

He frowned and looked around, searching for the voice, what the Hades?

I said, give her the smirk!

The voice repeated and Percy hesitantly obeyed and smirked at Artemis. Her eyes widened slightly at the exact smirk she had missed years ago. Crooked in all it's glory and undoubtedly full of mischief and secrets that wouldn't easily be exploited.

Good job rookie. Now, repeat after me.

"Obviously you won't want to remain friends for long, huh moonbeam?" He asked smugly and she smiled at him with slight disbelief. Moonbeam...how had he known that? It warmed her heart to say the least to see a bit of her old Percy shining through.

"I guess you haven't changed as much as I thought, mongrel." She joked lightly though her eyes screamed with elation as Percy casually slung an arm over her shoulder.

"I guess not." The smirk never left his face and the two sat there in a comfortable silence.

Nice going you lady killer you!

The voice complimented and Percy frowned, Who are you? He questioned and there was a moment of silence.

I'm you...the old you...the better you. And I want my Artemis back.

Percy's eyes widened, Your Artemis-

You're not screwing this up for me. You couldn't possibly be me.

But I'm not you.

Exactly.

And then the voice was gone, leaving a startled Percy, and a relaxed Artemis staring at the moon. Percy didn't know what was happening but he knew it couldn't be good.

Percy didn't go to school the next day. Matter of fact, he hadn't gone home after his spat with Phoebe and his father, he wasn't ready to face them yet. He had learned so much about the hunt and his past life that he decided to meet the girl who had shaped the old Percy.

Artemis had decided to wait to break the news of Phoebe's reappearance to the hunt. Knowing the blonde was still mad at her she wanted to leave her alone for the time being. But having both Percy and Phoebe back seem like some crazy dream that she would be ripped from almost immediately. It was too good to be true.

"Who's that boy?" The familiarity of being in the hunt didn't go unnoticed by Percy or Artemis. Artemis was smiling brilliantly as she made her way to Bianca and Zoe. The hunters noticed her cheery attitude but none asked as they eyed the male warily. Percy tried to remember any of them but he was drawing blanks.

"Zoe, Bianca, I want you guys to meet someone." Artemis said rather excitedly making the two hunters look up at her curiously. Zoe noticed the boy and narrowed her eyes.

"There's a boy here?" She looked at him in disdain and Percy felt a spark of anger within him.

"Oh good for you, you can identify my gender. Good job! Gold star for you." He clapped sarcastically and Zoe's eyes widened as did Bianca's. Those eyes, that voice, that sneer, that sarcasm...Percy. It had to be Percy.

The boy had crossed his arms in annoyance as he sighed,"I apologize for my immaturity. You just angered me." He ran a hand through his hair before sticking his hand out to Zoe,"I'm Percy Delong and it's a pleasure to be...reacquainted with you?" He asked as he watched the two raven haired girls gawk.

Zoe stared at his hand in shock,"You found him." She breathed to the goddess before launching herself at Percy along with Bianca.

"PERCY! YOU'RE BACK!" Bianca cried as she wrapped her arms around his torso and Zoe threw her arms around both of them. Percy yelped at their sudden intimacy and blushed furiously as he awkwardly pat their backs.

"Erm...long time no see?" He asked in a lame attempt to sound funny. Goodness he'd have to stop with his sorry attempts at jokes. Where were all these coming from anyway? He wasn't much of a jokester. But the old Percy had him slightly shook him up. It made him doubt his character. Was he a good enough Percy? Could he live up to his legacy that everyone had loved so much? He was terrified. What if Artemis didn't like this Percy? What if the hunt didn't like this Percy? Was he good enough for Bear, his father who had been best friends with the previous Percy? Stress nearly overwhelmed him and he let out a shuttered breath as he shoved his insecurities aside.

Zoe laughed as she looked up at the boy in admiration,"I'll say! I know you don't remember me but I'm Zoe Nightshade, daughter of Atlas." She pulled back and just beamed at Percy happily,"And it'll be a pleasure to kick your butt again!" Percy's eyebrows rose at smugness in her voice.

"You beat me up in my past life! Wow! You're strong!" He complimented thought he felt embarrassed that he had been beaten by a mortal.

Zoe laughed,"Oh man, I think I like this Percy even better!" She crowed and Bianca rolled her eyes.

"Zoe was lying, you nearly beat her to death every time," Bianca explained and Zoe scowled,"I'm Bianca Di Angelo! Daughter of Hades!" She introduced herself and Percy's eyes widened. Di Angelo.

"Do you happen to know a, Nico Di Angelo?" Percy questioned curiously and Bianca's eyebrows shot upwards in surprise.

"Y-Yeah." She stammered,"That's my brother! How do you-"

Percy grinned widely,"He's my best friend," His serious expression returned as he shrugged,"he lives with me and my family." He explained and Bianca looked like a fish out of water.

"WHAT! He's here!" She gasped in shock, he was supposed to be at Camp Halfblood,"What is he doing with you!" She asked in utter shock and Percy was about to answer before a new presence appeared.

"Well well well. If it isn't Percy Jackson." A voice sneered and Percy looked up to see an angry huntress.

He raised an eyebrow, unimpressed,"It's Percy Delong now, actually. If you're going to attempt to make a scene at least get my name right." He said dryly as he stared at her in slight annoyance. Artemis frowned at the newer huntress's knowledge of Percy Jackson.

Zoe's eyes widened and she glared at the girl,"I swear to the gods if you don't keep that trap of yours shut..." She trailed off angrily as she shot a nervous glance between Artemis and Percy who just appeared irritated and confused.

The blonde sneered at Zoe before turning on Percy,"You don't remember me, do you." She spat and Percy once again shrugged. He hated drama.

"Is it that obvious." He griped, his good mood was obliterated by the huntress.

She laughed bitterly,"I'm Jordan, you know, the girl you strung along in your past life. You played me and then you left me with a fake number. You're the reason I joined the hunt." She snarled and she then whirled on the surprised goddess,"And you don't deserve to be happy with him! He's a player and he'll just screw you over!" She turned her attention back on Percy,"It's not fair! I loved you-"

Artemis cut her off,"The past Percy isn't the new Percy...obviously. You're holding an unnecessary grudge. And, if his past self stayed with girls for about a day or so, how could you have possibly fallen in love with him?" She challenged as she shook her head,"You didn't know him, you just knew his charming side. You never saw all of him. You were infatuated. Not in love." The goddess defended and Percy looked at her in surprised before hesitantly reaching out and grabbing her hand. Artemis fought back a smile and Jordan's scowl deepened.

"You're disgusting!" She spat as she looked at their joined hands in disdain.

"Oh shut up!" Zoe snarled and soon the hunt gathered around them.

"A boy! Holding hands with Artemis?"

"How-"

"Percy?"

"Guys it's Percy!"

"He's back!"

Soon he was crowded with hunters. Many of them looked thrilled to see him. They hugged him or pat his back and thanked him for risking his life for them. Some looked angry that the boy had returned. Percy felt a little overwhelmed as he smiled awkwardly and tried to remember everyone's names.

Artemis watched him with a small smile, Percy was adorable, his eyebrows were furrowed and his cheeks were a bright red as he tried to reintroduce himself. The werewolf was so different than he used to be. He still had his dry sense of humor. She noted as she glanced over at Jordan who was stomping away angrily. She smirked, good.

"So you found him again." She turned around to see an irritated Apollo,"Typical," He snorted,"of course you went searching for him." He grumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Artemis narrowed her eyes at him,"Don't ruin this for me, I mean it Apollo, if you so much as touch him-"

"You'll kill me." Apollo finished for her before laughing dryly,"You really care more for Percy than you for me." It wasn't a question and Artemis refused to answer.

"He makes me happy. No man has ever made me feel like that." She breathed as she turned back to Percy who was trapped in the mob of excited hunters. He caught her gaze and looked at her pleadingly, 'help me!' His golden eyes screamed and Artemis let out a small laugh at his discomfort. She shook her head at him and shrugged making him glare at her. He mouthed a few curse words as he began to get chewed out by some of the hunters for dying.

"I can see that." Apollo growled lowly and Artemis turned her attention back to brother.

"Why do you care so much! I can protect myself! I'm a better fighter than you!" She sneered quietly, though she knew Percy could hear every word uttered between the two.

Apollo gritted his teeth,"I never said you couldn't-"

Her silver eyes flashed in anger,"Your actions imply it! Let me breathe! And leave me alone, Apollo!" She laughed bitterly as she shook her head,"I can't keep doing this. You need to let me live my own life." She softened as she placed a hand on his shoulder,"I know you want to protect me and I appreciate that. But I don't get involved in your love life so stay out of mine." Her voice had a hard edge to it as Apollo narrowed his blue eyes at her.

"Fine." He lied,"I'll leave you two alone." He muttered and Artemis gritted her teeth at the blonde.

"Don't you lie to me, did you really think I couldn't tell?" She snorted,"Just leave. Stop interfering." She lashed out as she shoved him away from her. Apollo fell on his butt and with a snarl he vanished.

Percy finally got out of the crowd of questioning hunters until he heard,"PERCY!" He whirled around to see a brown blur leap in his arms. The force nearly knocked him backwards and he was suddenly assaulted with a pink tongue. His face puckered and a laugh escaped the werewolf,"Percy you're back!" The wolf yelped,"It's me, Julius! I'm Jackie's brother...you were my best friend in your past life." The wolf said quickly and before Percy could comprehend the wolf's words he was tackled by many other excited wolves.

He was buried in a mass of tongues, fur, paws, and tails. He was on the ground and struggling to stand as all the wolves yelped his name excitedly. He began laughing rambunctiously as he tried to pet the wolves while being attacked. He loved dogs and wolves far more than he loved people. He felt more at ease with the wolves than he had with the hunters.

When the wolves finally got off him he sat up. His eyebrows stuck straight up from saliva, his hair was ruffled adorably, and he had scratch marks on his arms but saliva had made his clothes damp. The hunt looked at him and began laughing as did Percy. He looked like a huge goofball and Artemis hadn't remembered feeling so happy in a long time.

"So the rumors are true!" A voice crowed and Percy hastily stood to his feet to see two girls looking at him in amusement. One had black hair and electric blue eyes, she was beautiful and Percy instantly knew she was goddess. She held herself with a strong air of confidence and grinned widely at him.

The other girl was a blonde with calculating grey eyes. Judging from her beauty as well she had to be a goddess or immortal. They looked around his age and seemed rather eager to see the boy. Percy frowned, how popular had he been in his past life? He had a feeling these weren't the last people he'd get squashed by in hugs.

"I'm Thalia. Daughter or Zeus, now I'm a minor goddess of lighting and the goddess of heroes. And this is Annabeth. Daughter of Athena, and the immortal architect of Olympus. And Perce, it's your lucky day, because you're now reconciling with the greatest people, EVER!" Thalia yelled as she rushed forward and jumped on the boy and wrapped him in a hug. Annabeth was much slower to get to Percy as she walked over and enveloped the boy in a much softer hug when Thalia had finally released him.

Percy didn't know why but he was smiling joyously at everyone. They were all so familiar and tears pricked his eyes.

"I-I don't remember you all too well." Percy started as he stared at the beaming faces looking back at him,"But...I'm so happy to see you guys again." He laughed as Julius trotted to his side with his tail wagging happily. He pet behind the wolf's ears lovingly before smiling widely at Artemis,"This is...so nice." He looked at Thalia for a moment before laughing,"And I feel like we've made out before." He confessed though he didn't know where that had come from and he instantly felt embarrassed when he realized what he had said.

Thalia laughed heartily and clapped his shoulder in a friendly manner,"It's good to have you back Perce."

Annabeth nodded with a small smile on her lips,"You and I fought a lot...but we were kind of friends...frenemies if you will. It's just nice to see you again." She admitted and Percy turned his smile to Annabeth.

"Good see you again as well...I've never had so many friends before..." Percy confessed, suddenly feeling bashful and uncomfortable,"and it feels weird...a good kind of weird." He chuckled before he was bombarded with questions.

And before he knew it they all surrounded a fire. Percy was seated next to Artemis and Julius was laying in his lap happily. They all swapped stories about Percy's past and he told them stories about the present before getting to know all the people he had forgotten due to rebirth. He hadn't felt so...happy and at ease in such a long time.

Artemis and him would exchange looks every once in a while and she was grinning broadly at everything. Everyone was at ease and jokes and funny stories were exchanged. Percy couldn't remember having so much fun...with strangers. He'd have to bring Phoebe next time, he knew with hunt missed her terribly, but they'd be surprised at what they'd find. Percy pushed the thought from his mind as he focused on Thalia's story of the war and about how she defeated Kronos with the help of Luke and Annabeth. Percy listened in awe and lost himself in his past friends.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Percy and Artemis walked into school together the next day. Percy had still refused to go home. He hadn't been home in two days. He was hesitant to face his family after what he said to them. Art class went by with ease as Artemis animatedly talked about what Percy had missed in his time of rebirth and Percy listened attentively. He added a few comments here and there but for the most part he listened.

Percy wasn't much of a talker and he enjoyed listening to the stories of the hunt. Both Artemis and Percy sucked at art, to put it bluntly. There was no other way to describe their artwork. It was horrendous, sloppy, and...utterly awful.

Percy frowned as he finished his drawing. He didn't know where this idea had come from but he liked it. It made him...surprisingly happy as he drew the handle of the knife with his terrible drawing ability. Artemis seemed rather focused on her picture as well. Her silver eyes brightened and a grin overtook her lips as she scribbled furiously on her paper.

Percy glanced up at the auburn haired goddess. Calculating, silver eyes darted over her paper, her hand moved quickly, her tongue stuck out slightly, and soon a smile appeared. Stray hairs covered up her eyes slightly as she leaned closer to her paper and made multiple facial expressions. She was so...cute as she cursed under her breath and threatened to obliterate the piece of paper in frustration. She looked so beautiful in that moment. She was so engrossed in her work.

Percy hadn't realized he was staring until he noticed Artemis smirk,"You're staring." She whispered, not taking her eyes off the paper.

Make your move! Flirt! Come on! Do something!

Percy's old life screamed at him.

The blonde blushed and didn't take his eyes off her,"Yea-Yeah." He stammered before clearing his throat awkwardly,"Friends can stare at each other...right?" He mused and Artemis let out a tinkling laugh.

"I suppose...if they were in a staring contest. You really should get back to work." She glanced up at him, her smirk never fading, and his ears turned a bright red like his cheeks did.

"I'm finished."

"Oh?"

"Yeah."

"Can I take a look?" She questioned and he slid the paper over to her.

"I don't know why I drew this...I just thought about it and...ugh." He muttered in embarrassment,"It's stupid." He covered his face in his hands.

Artemis looked at his picture in shock, it was of a lumpy snowman...with a knife were the nose should be. She felt tears prick her eyes at the art before her. Yes it was drawn horribly, there were several eraser marks, and smudges, and imperfections. But that's not what made her feel like crying. This was a memory.

This was the first snowman she and Percy had built together. It was beautiful. She couldn't speak for a moment as she looked at it in shock. Happiness and warmth bloomed in her chest, maybe her Percy wasn't fully gone after all.

AH! Nice job! Now repeat after me.

Percy then revealed his face with a wide smile,"I guess you could say it's got your figure, huh?" She had to stop herself from lunging across the table and kissing him. So she settled for laughing and blinking away her tears.

"Shut up. At least it doesn't have my nose!" She teased and Percy smiled down at his hands softly. Not understanding how Artemis could make him so happy.

"What'd you think?" He asked curiously as he peeked over at her paper to see if she drew any better.

Artemis smiled widely at him,"I loved it...why'd you draw this though? Of all things?" She questioned as she folded the piece of paper up without thinking and stuffed it in her pocket.

Percy didn't seem to mind as he smiled sheepishly and shrugged,"I saw it in a dream once."

Artemis's smile broadened,"Well, that was the first snowman we made together." She informed him and Percy perked while letting out a quiet laugh.

"Really!"

Artemis laughed as well,"Really. You were concentrating so hard and then I stuck my knife in it. And you got mad at me at first before saying the snowman was our love child." She laughed even harder as Percy looked at her mortified, he had been a bold guy,"I know. You used to be a complete moron." She chuckled before looking at him happily,"You still are, just not as much."

He scowled,"I'll have you know I'm very intellectual!" He hated being affiliated with stupidity,"My GPA is-"

Shut up you moron, it's a joke.

Percy froze before laughing uneasily,"I mean...I don't think I've changed that much." He shrugged casually making Artemis frown.

"Are you alright?"

Just peachy, moonbeam!

"Just peachy, moonbeam." Percy repeated with a devilish smirk. But Artemis knew it was extremely forced. He didn't feel comfortable. His hands twitched nervously and his smirk faltered as his golden eyes shifted around uneasily before looking back into her silver ones.

Artemis looked at him worriedly,"You know...you don't have to act like the old Percy." She reminded him gently,"You're different now and that's okay. I've accepted that. I loved the old you," She admitted,"but I know I can love the new you as well." She wet her lips as Percy looked down at his hands silently.

She couldn't love the new you. You're not me.

"I-I know." He stuttered as he looked up at her in a resigned manner,"It's just...the old Percy was so much cooler than I am. He was good with girls, good with you, and funny." He sighed,"And I'm not that much like him except for looks and maybe a darker sense of humor if anything." He scratched the back of his neck,"I just...don't want you to stick around with someone you don't really love." He confessed as he felt shame wash over him.

His insecurities were eating him alive and it was painful. He didn't feel as good as the other Percy. How could he live up to the legacy that the raven haired teen had left behind. And yes, it sounded a little silly, but the other Percy had been loved by so many and he had been amazing at fighting. What if people didn't love him like they loved the old Percy? They were nothing alike. Would that be a problem? Was he really jealous of himself? And when he looked up at the sad goddess he knew the answer was yes. Why couldn't the old Percy had stayed alive? He stressed as he tugged at his hair anxiously.

Artemis was quiet for a moment before reaching across the table and gently grabbed Percy's hand,"That Percy was also a womanizer, a murderer, a hothead, and unbelievably rude and offensive. He wasn't perfect, and you aren't either, but that's okay. Don't feel like you need to live up to that Percy, okay? Because you're still him...just in a different body with a different mind." She smiled softly at him and he started at their intertwined fingers.

"Do you miss him?"

There was no hesitation,"Yes."

"...I'm sorry-"

"For not being exactly like Percy Jackson? Don't be." She laughed before giving his hand a squeeze,"I didn't find you again expecting to find Percy Jackson either. I'm perfectly happy with Percy Delong. And I know that Jackson is gone, and I'm okay with that, I've accepted it. I'm happy that I found you. There's something different with you," She grinned,"and I like it a lot."

Percy felt his worries be put at ease and he relaxed instantly,"I-I'm glad you found me too...and yeah I think you're very nice to be around." He cleared his throat as he mustered up his courage,"Would you like to accompany me to a...uh...to a movie on friday?" He was a blushing mess and the bell rung. Artemis smiled as she let go of his hand and gave him a kiss on the cheek. His face looked like a tomato and she grinned at how adorable he was.

"That'd be nice. Even though you sound so unsure of yourself. Worried I'll say no?" She teased as the two began to walk to math.

Percy scowled,"No! I'm...I'm just trying to get a hang of this whole dating thing. The only girl I've come close to dating is..." His eyes widened and he cursed angrily,"OH CRAP!" He face palmed,"I totally forgot about Calypso!" He groaned and Artemis pursed her lips as the familiar feeling of jealousy returned.

"Hmmm...so maybe you do have your old life's player streak after all." She huffed in slight amusement while Percy groaned again and bit his lip.

"Oh gods...what am I gonna tell her! I already suck at asking girls out! I've never had to break up with one..." He felt like punching himself in the face,"I'm so terrible! I feel awful! Oh gods." Percy stressed and Artemis looked at him with slight awe. This Percy had a much stronger moral compass.

She bit her lip,"Just tell her the truth-"

His seriousness came into play as he stopped panicking,"You're right. I'm blunt enough to just break it off." He sighed,"I used to really liked her." He said to himself...but knowing his luck Artemis heard him.

"Oh?" Her jealously intensified,"I guess that explains why you're such an experienced kisser than." She said dryly and Percy blushed.

"I-I never kissed her. You...were my first kiss." He admitted,"I just never found any appeal in dating until she arrived. But then you showed up and...gods I like you a lot." He couldn't' stop talking and he wanted to punch himself even harder in the face for the word vomit. The moon goddess made him unbelievably flustered.

Artemis smiled to herself at Percy's confession, he was so different, but she kinda liked it,"I like you a lot too...so I was the lucky lady to be your first kiss huh?"

Percy snorted,"Ironically enough, yes, the virgin goddess was my first make out session."

Artemis blushed furiously and scowled,"That was Aphrodite's fault and you know it!"

He rolled his eyes,"Uh huh."

"I would never-"

"I know." He effectively shut down the playful banter. He wasn't all that good at it anyway.

Percy remained stoic as he walked into the math class with the goddess. And to his utter horror he saw Calypso...smiling oh so happily at him. Fudge biscuits. If she had been a meaner girl he wouldn't have a problem getting rid of her. But she was so nice and sweet and pretty. And he enjoyed her company.

Man up, I could drop her in a heartbeat.

I'm not you.

That's the problem.

Percy let out a growl under his breath before sliding into the seat next to the girl,"Hello Calypso, how is your day going so far?" He asked politely and the girl seemed to notice something was off about him. Artemis sat behind the two and watched them warily as she scribbled random things down on a piece of paper.

She tentatively touched his arm and he heard Artemis huff quietly,"Are you alright?" She asked worriedly and Percy shrugged halfheartedly.

"I've been having some family problems lately and I haven't been feeling quite like myself for a while." He murmured, it wasn't a complete lie. But it would come off very poorly to tell the girl that he was no longer interested in her because of another woman. A goddess, Calypso couldn't possibly compare with Artemis. She was gorgeous and kind but a bit of a pushover. Artemis had a hard edge to her and Percy liked that. Plus she was getting him to become more social and was helping him remember his past. From what he had seen of the past Percy, he noticed that Artemis kept the raven haired teen in line. And Percy needed someone like that.

She was serious but could become playful enough to get him out of a mood. She was patient with him and understanding in ways Calypso could never be. Artemis waited fifteen years for him. Fifteen. How the Hades could she wait for him so long! Artemis loved him, what Calypso felt for him was a mere crush, and she'd get over it soon enough. He hardened himself as she looked at him with bright brown eyes.

"Is that why you weren't at school yesterday?" She prodded and Percy nodded again before slowly moving his arm out from under her hand.

He let out a sigh,"Calypso, you are truly wonderful, but I no longer wish to...pursue a relationship with you." He said bluntly and he heard a voice in his head laugh.

There ya go! Maybe you aren't so different from me. Though you worded that a lot nicer.

Shut up.

...Well aren't you a basket of roses!

Calypso's eyes widened and she bit her lip before staring down at her hands in her lap,"Was it something I did-"

Yes. You're not Artemis and your fashion sense is tacky.

"No." Percy interjected before running a hand through his hair,"You must understand, I'm not a very emotional person. I just don't wish to be in a relationship at the moment." He felt shame wash over him as tears pricked her eyes. He really had liked her,"And I really do like you, just give me time to sort everything out...yeah? I apologize for my impulsive actions." He wet his lips and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.

Ooh! Good idea! Lead her on! Makes Arty jealous and boy is she funny and super hot when she's mad.

Calypso smiled brokenly at him. Even when off the island she couldn't get the hero she wanted. He still left her. And she was utterly heartbroken as she looked into, apologetic topaz eyes. She knew Percy never meant to hurt her...but he had seemed so eager to be with her before. Where did his sudden doubt come from? He saw the boy, who was sideways in his seat, glance at the silver eyed girl behind him.

Artemis. Calypso's eyes widened, she had known who the goddess was the minute she walked in, but she figured the goddess was here due to a monster mission. Nothing made sense. Artemis was a virgin goddess...how could she know that Percy even realized who the woman was? Maybe she was overreacting and overthinking the glance that Artemis and Percy had shared. But she knew she wasn't. Something strange was happening and she didn't like it.

"Persephone you need to take care of this now." Demeter growled as she ran a hand through her hair anxiously.

Her daughter scowled,"You think I don't know that mother! I ridded the hunt of the monsters...I didn't expect Percy's past to still be there-"

Demeter bit her lip,"What'll happen to him?" She asked and Persephone pinched the bridge of her nose as she began to pace.

"The old Percy will fight the new Percy for control of the body." She murmured,"I need to find away to fuse them together because the new Percy won't give up without a fight. If I don't fix this...Percy will literally tear himself apart. But how in the world can I fuse them!" She yelled angrily as she stomped on the ground in rage. The grass withered beneath her feet as did the trees surrounding her.

Demeter placed her hands on Persephone's shoulders to get her to stop pacing,"Okay, listen to me. Who does new Percy care for more than anyone else in the world?" She asked as she stared at Persephone intensely.

The daughter of Zeus and Demeter had been watching Percy over the past few years to check his progress and had even recruited Aphrodite to speed up Artemis's and Percy's progress.

Persephone frowned,"Phoebe, undoubtably." She nodded to herself and the harvest goddess's frown furrowed.

"And who did old Percy love more than anyone else?"

Persephone's eyes widened,"Artemis..." She trailed off as Demeter grinned widely at her.

"And now, we know how to fuse the new and the old! It'll take precision planning and...impeccable timing. Then we'll confront Artemis once her and Percy are finally back together." The hardest goddess gently kissed her daughter's forehead,"I swear to you...you won't spend another second in hell." Demeter whispered as she pulled her teary eyed daughter to her chest and cradled her.

"I just want to come home...permanently this time." She whispered brokenly and Demeter squeezed her eyes shut and clutched onto her girl even tighter.

"I know...I know baby girl." She breathed as she fought back her tears as well.

Persephone's damn broke as she buried her face into her mother's shoulder,"He's t-terrible to me!" She sobbed and Demeter felt overwhelming grief consumer her. Her favorite daughter suffered so much in the four months she remained with Hades. He was cruel and unloving...he was...forceful. To her child. She was too sad to summon any anger as the two knelt to the ground.

Neither were aware that their grief had caused the entire forest to turn black.

"I won't let him hurt you anymore baby girl." Demeter's voice cracked as she held the sobbing goddess in her arms. And tears slipped from her eyes as she watched the last sunflower shrivel up and die.

And she smiled bitterly, that sunflower had represented her daughter. Once filled with confidence, proud, beautiful, and full of life only to have the mirth and life drained from her. She was a former shell of her once blissfully naive and happy self. And it broke Demeter's heart; to have to see Persephone numbly appear from the underworld in the beginning of every summer, and collapse in her arms in a state of emptiness.

She would save her daughter if it was the last thing she did.

"Ooh look who came home!" Phoebe spat and Percy ignored her as he walked past her to his room. The boy had grown rather despondent from his family after the Artemis incident. Having avoided them for two days to calm down seemed like the right thing to do. Phoebe hadn't been at school today saving Percy from earlier confrontation.

He had slept by the hunt's wolves and had been reacquainted to a wolf name Julius, he was Jackie's brother, and Percy spent most of his time with the wolf and caught up. Julius hadn't left Percy's side and even curled up to the boy throughout the night. Percy had instantly fell in love with the wolf, he was large brown wolf, and he was unbelievably loyal to Percy. He growled at Jordan whenever she neared the two and Percy loved that wolf.

Percy had spent his time away from home to meet the hunt again and catch up. He told them about himself and vice versa. They told several embarrassing stories about him...apparently Annabeth had allowed him to get hit by a car and he's made out with Lamia...who's a monster. How had his past self been so crazy and reckless? Everything that his current self wasn't.

Percy laid on his bed and huffed when he heard Phoebe follow him without hesitation,"Go away." He muttered as he shoved his earphones in.

"IMMA KILL YOU!" Eminem screamed into his ears and he let out a growl when Phoebe didn't heed his warning,"YOU BETTER KILL ME!" The angry blonde continued yelling as he rapped his verse heatedly.

Phoebe yanked his earphones out and tossed them away,"You don't get to come home after two days and not talk to me! Especially after what happened. Where've you been-"

"Oh! Snow, what a pleasant surprise." Bear murmured as he opened the front door. Percy's eyes widened as he leapt of the bed and raced down the hall. Snow smiled brilliantly at Bear who was shoved aside by his son.

Percy had been told Snow had been one of his mother's in his past lives, Caesar was his fatherly figure who died, Lupa was his birth mother, and Lycaon was his birth father. Snow and Percy had had a really close relationship and Percy remembered the dreams he had of Snow. She was his little angel back when he was lost and constantly being beaten by Lycaon. Her and Caesar had always been there for him and hearing the stories of the two had touched him and made him feel rather...loved. He was loved by so many people and it amazed him.

Percy froze as he stared at the shocked Snow,"M-Mom?" He asked hesitantly and Snow let out a giddy laugh as tears filled her blue eyes. She crushed the boy in her embrace and Percy squeezed her back just as tightly. He let out a relived laugh as she picked him up and swung him around in circles.

"Oh! My baby boy!" She cooed,"Finally!" She let out sob mixed with a laugh as she clutched onto him tighter. "I'll have to take you back to the pack! Oh they'll be so excited!" She gushed as she put him down,"And Lupa will be thrilled to know you're back!" She ran her hands all over Percy's face and beamed widely at him,"Oh look how much you look like me! You're still so handsome! Oh my handsome boy!" Percy wanted to cry in that moment. He finally won...he had a mom! He had a mom!

He just laughed and muttered,"Thank you." Before embracing her again and burying his face in her shoulder. The warmth from the woman and the familiarity of her scent and voice brought back his dreams...which in reality had been his memories. He had a mom. He couldn't believe it. He'd waited years for this and he finally got a mom. Phoebe was wrong. Snow did love him, very much, he could smell her happiness as she kissed his forehead.

"W-What's going on here?" Phoebe stammered as she watched Percy be swept in Snow's arms.

Percy smiled brilliantly at her,"I just got a mom!" He cheered before letting out a relieved laugh and throwing a triumphant fist in the air. He was never this happy. He was always serious and calm but this was too big to be calm about.

He never did get closure with Bear and Phoebe that day. But thank gods for his mother, he had never gotten a chance to say that before, thank gods for his mother Snow.

Percy let out a nervous breath as he glanced at Artemis's hands that were folded neatly in her lap. She sat up straight and watched the movie with interest. They had decided to go see Avengers 2, Percy didn't want to pick a movie that was romantic, he didn't want to push their relationship.

Come on! Man up! Go for it!

Easy for you to say. I'm not smooth like you.

A good time to start learning right? Just grab her hand, dude. The worse thing she can do is pull away.

You're right, you're right...thanks.

Just don't screw this up.

Percy grabbed Artemis's hand harder than he intended and Artemis yelped quietly making Percy pull away instantly,"Oh! Sorry!" He whispered as he accidentally elbowed his drink and sent it falling into the lap of a stranger who screeched as the icy soda fell in his lap.

Percy jumped to his feet,"Sorry-"

"Sit down!" Someone hissed and he took step back to go get paper towels for the stranger he spilled his soda on.

But, he tripped over gods knows what, and fell in Artemis's lap. Her face puckered at his sudden weight, her arm was holding the popcorn away form the two because the moon goddess had seen his fall coming, but her arm had jerked at the sudden pain and pop flew on top of the two. They were covered in salt and butter and Percy wanted to rip his throat out then and there. His cheeks were hot in embarrassment as he scrambled off of the goddess and back into his seat.

Smooth.

I know, I practiced all day!

He moaned in frustration before turning to the man he spilled his drink on,"I'm so sorry-"

"Just shut up and leave me alone." The man grumbled and Percy hesitantly looked at Artemis. He expected angered, silver eyes glaring at him, a knife at his throat, or maybe an empty seat.

Instead he saw the auburn haired girl doubled over in silent laughter. He buried his face in his hands and let out a quiet laugh of embarrassment. Gods this date couldn't possibly get any worse.

Artemis stopped laughing as she reached out to Percy and grabbed his hand.

He looked up at her surprise and she kissed his cheek,"You're an idiot, and you're lucky you're cute." She whispered and Percy grinned like an idiot as he tried to pay attention to the rest of the movie rather than Artemis's hand in his.

When the movie was over the two stood outside of the movie theatre and had begun to walk back to Percy's house and it was a relatively short walk.

They were walking in complete darkness much to Percy's relief. Now the moon goddess wouldn't see his fiery red cheeks.

"I'm sorry about the movie disaster-"

"Don't be...it was funny." Artemis laughed softly as they stopped a block away from his house. She couldn't get over how much she liked the new Percy. He was still a fierce werewolf but he was so nervous around girls and he was utterly adorable when he was flustered. He was trying so hard to be romantic but he had caused a big mess in the process. It was endearing. She really enjoyed spending time with Percy.

Okay, Perce, kiss her! Now!

What...are you sure!

Trust me!

That didn't work so well the first time.

Percy thought dryly as he gazed at Artemis softly.

Just do it now!

Percy held his breath and leaned in to Artemis. She was obviously waiting of him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Their lips met and Percy felt his entire body tingle with excitement and heat from the kiss. This kiss was different from their first kiss. The love goddess didn't interfere, their kiss wasn't lust induced, and they were both closer to one another.

Percy didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Her hands found his hair and he smiled at the feeling. Goodness he liked that a lot...he was such a dog. He let his instincts take over as he slipped his fingers in the loops of Artemis's pants and tugged her even closer making her pull away and laugh at his eagerness.

Before she knew it Percy had her pinned to a fence of a random neighbors and Percy had her trapped. He had one hand on the small of her back and the other cupped her cheek affectionately. Her hands ran up his muscular chest making him gasp before they rested on his shoulders. His hands slid down the small of her back and continued to travel south before Artemis froze. Percy suddenly jerked back as if burned. His topaz eyes had darkened immensely as he fought to calm his breathing. He let out a laugh as he looked at Artemis with a wide grin.

"Sorry." He said sheepishly and she blinked rapidly to regain her bearings.

"Yeah, me too." She breathed as she smiled back at him,"Thanks for the date Percy...it was rather enjoyable."

Percy bit his lip uncertainly,"What does this make us?"

Artemis rolled her eyes,"What do you think?"

"Friends with benefits?" Percy's eyes widened. He hadn't spoken on his own accord...that wasn't him speaking. That was the old Percy, how on earth did that happen? He yelped when Artemis smacked the back of his head roughly and Percy scowled as well as Artemis.

"Very funny, we're dating now you moron."

"Oh! Even better!" Percy enthused before sweeping down and planting a chaste kiss on Artemis's lips,"I'll see you tomorrow." He grinned before turning and walking back to his house. Artemis watched him leave with a small smile, she touched her lips, she could still feel his lips pressed against hers. She laughed lightly, slightly disgusted with her love for Percy, dang emotions. Best date ever. She transported back to the hunters camp.

Percy flopped back onto his bed and Nico looked at him expectantly,"How'd the date go!"

Percy shrugged while trying to keep a straight face,"It was nice." That was a lie. It was amazing and he wanted more dates like that. Except he didn't want to make such a large mess again.

Nico grinned,"Good!"

Percy smiled to himself as he looked up at the ceiling in wonder. His heart was still beating unbelievably fast as he closed his eyes and thought back about the kiss once again.

"How'd the date go?" Zoe asked Artemis as the moon goddess tried to maintain her composure.

"It was nice." Artemis shrugged and Zoe narrowed her eyes.

"Only nice?"

No, it was amazing and she felt like a friggen high schooler who just went on her first date. She was crazy about Percy. The date had gone extremely well and it was rather hilarious. She felt extremely giddy as she thought back to the kiss. She got her Percy back. It was amazing. She loved this.

"Artemis?" Bianca asked and the goddess jumped before smiling sheepishly,"Artemis..." Bianca looked around warily,"can we still call you a virgin goddess?" Zoe's eyes widened and the two burst into laughter as Artemis looked at them in utter fury. Before she knew it she was chasing both the laughing girls around the camp.

"Percy-"

"Yeah I know."

"Do you?"

Percy rolled his eyes at his girlfriend,"Yes, I know who Calypso is." He muttered as the two sat on the forest floor,"I knew who she was the entire time."

"And you continued to date her? After all the men she trapped on her island?" Artemis asked in surprise and Percy shrugged.

"She's not a threat to me-" He was cut off with a roar and they both stood to their feet quickly. Out of the darkness five wolves appeared. The leader was a large, brown wolf, he stalked forward with hackles raised and teeth bared. He had a wicked scar over his eye and all the wolves snarled at the couple, low growls shattered the silence in the forest, and tension was so thick that Percy felt like he was choking on it.

The blonde unsheathed his claws and bared his fangs as the wolves got closer to them. Artemis had her blades drawn and her silver eyes looked at the wolves warily. She wasn't too worried, however, she and Percy had fought far more opponents together and a couple werewolves were the least of her worries.

The brown wolf looked at Percy with amusement,"You don't remember me do you? I'm sure you don't." The wolf's raspy voice was soft spoken as he looked Percy with slight anger,"Oh well, that doesn't matter, you aren't the old Percy so I'm not too worried about your fighting abilities. We're here to avenge Lycaon, you slaughtered him your past life, and we're here to kill you. See, we liked Lycaon and you killed him." The wolf roared and the other wolves howled in approval.

Percy felt something within him snap, he was so sick of being compared with the old Percy, he was an improved Percy and he'd prove it. He wasn't going to live in Jackson's shadow, he was a Delong, and he'd be the last and best Percy that ever lived. He'd show everyone that he wasn't just some knock off of Percy Jackson. He was better than him and there was no way he'd allow anyone to belittle him and taunt him about not being good enough like he was in his past life.

Artemis let out a mocking laugh,"Really! You're here to avenge Lycaon! You idiotic mutts do realize he's a monster, right? Sure, if Lycaon really wanted to he could allow his human self to accept death, but then he'd just end up in Punishment. I doubt he would want eternal damnation, so he's obviously choosing reincarnation! You're morons! This is pointless." Artemis snarled and the brown wolf snorted as he got closer to the two.

"Or maybe, we know our boss is coming back, but we want to rid the world of Percy forever. That little punk is a thorn in our side and he as been for years! And now we'll be able to kill him-"

"Then kill me...if what you said is true than I'm obviously not as good as the other Percy." Percy smiled but there was no mirth in his eyes.

"Gladly!" The brown wolf roared before charging at the boy.

Percy met the wolf's charge with his own. A black wolf took the boy's place and he leaped into the air to tackle the brown wolf. But the mud colored wolf rolled out of the way and Percy ended up landing on the grey wolf instead.

Artemis was surrounded by three wolves who looked at her excitedly. She's killed so many of them and they were so eager to get a taste of revenge. Artemis smirked in anticipation as jumped over outstretched claws and took off running towards a tree. The wolves howled in excitement at the prospect of chasing the goddess down.

She leaped into the air and used the trunk of the tree as a spring board and launched herself at the wolves. A wolf was midair like she was, it's jaws wide open as it attempted to bite her, she launched one of her knives at the wolf's open mouth. The blade slid right into the monster's throat making it yelp before falling to the ground dead.

The other wolves looked at their companion in anger and horror. With them distracted Artemis landed on the white wolf's snout and bounced off before straddling it's black furred companion. She buried her knife deep within the black wolf's skull making it collapse. She tried to pull the blade from it's skull but it was stuck. The white wolf didn't allow her time to grab her weapon as he lunged at the goddess.

She cursed and rolled off the wolf corpse before steadying herself on the balls of her feet. She raised her fists and she rushed the wolf and threw a hard punch hitting him in the snout. He recoiled before before avoiding her next punch and batting at her with his massive paw.

She wasn't ready and jumped backwards only to have the wolf catch her thigh in it's large jaws. She let out a blood curdling scream as the wolf crushed her bones with his razor sharp teeth and shook her violently. She she saw black dots as hot blood seeped down her thigh and the wolf tossed her into a nearby tree.

Percy eyed the two wolves angrily as let out a snarl and charged. The grey wolf met his charge and jumped to tackle the black werewolf. Percy expected this and just as quickly morphed back into his human form. He slid underneath the grey wolf's flying form and raked his claws along the wolf's stomach making it howl in pain and fall to the ground slightly wounded.

Percy didn't stop as he continued to charge at the brown wolf. The wolf sprinted towards Percy and they both leaped into the air. Percy turned back into a black wolf and the two met in a clash of teeth and claws. The brown wolf knocked Percy over but the boy was prepared and as he flew through the air he morphed back into a human.

He smashed his foot into the muzzle of the wolf making the beast yelp and fall to the ground. Percy landed on his feet swiftly and whirled around, topaz eyes blazing, and teeth bared dangerously. A wolf took his place once again and he turned towards the grey wolf who stood on his feet and howled angrily.

Percy rushed towards the wolf with full speed. His adrenaline was making him more alert as the wolf tried to leap on top of him. Percy slid out of the way at the last minuted and grabbed the wolf's leg with his teeth. The wolf howled in pain as Percy smashed the wolf into a nearby tree. The wolf slumped to the ground and before Percy could turn around the brown wolf was on top of him.

Percy collapsed under the leader's weight quickly turned back into his human form. He slipped his arm out of the wolf's weight and drove his clawed hand into the wolf's chest. Blood soaked Percy's body and he smiled coldly as the wolf's brown eyes dimmed and he collapsed on the blonde. Percy's nostrils filled with the smell of blood and he wrinkled his nose as he shoved the wolf off him.

Artemis let out a scream in agony making Percy leap to his feet. He heard the snapping of bones and he began to panic. The goddess was leaning against the tree trunk with her leg outstretched and covered in blood. She was pale and gritting her teeth in pain as she glared at the wolf before her. The white wolf was stalking towards the moon goddess and Percy felt unquenchable rage as he sprinted towards the wolf and tackled it.

The white wolf yelped as Percy wrapped his arms around its torso. Percy let out scream as he mercilessly squeezed the wolf's torso until he heard several snaps of ribs breaking. His rage consumed him as he threw the wolf to the ground. He kicked the wolf as hard as he could in the face several times as it laid on the ground whimpering and panting. Blood covered Percy's torso, face, and legs as he continuously let out his pent up rage.

No one touched Artemis, ever, unknowingly the old Percy heavily influenced his anger. Percy Delong would never surrender himself to his emotions in such a brutal way. But Jackson had no problem with this method.

"Percy." A weak whisper made him freeze as he turned to the goddess. She smiled faintly at him,"Stop being stupid and get me back to camp...too weak to teleport." She breathed and Percy quickly rushed to her side.

"Sorry Arty." He murmured as he crouched down,"Put your arms around my neck." He instructed quietly and Artemis did so. He stood carefully and slowly morphed into his wolf form so transporting her would be easier.

Artemis laid on his back and snuggled into his neck fur tiredly,"My leg feels terrible." She muttered tiredly and Percy licked the blood off his snout.

"I bet...sorry I didn't get over there sooner-"

Artemis snorted,"Oh please, I'm a goddess, I assure you I would have survived...but thank you." She muttered and Percy chuckled at her cheekiness.

"I didn't doubt you for a second." He said seriously, that's why he hadn't checked on her during the fight, he knew she could handle herself. And she evidently could if she killed two of the three wolves that attacked her. He knew she would have found a way to kill the third one without his help. But he wasn't going to sit idly by why he waited for her to give the wolf what for.

Not to mention her leg was extremely chewed up. It looked gruesome. It looked like one of Percy's kills, all torn up, and raw.

"You sure were protective." She commented lightly and Percy was thankful for the fur so she couldn't' see his bright red cheeks.

"Sorry." He mumbled and she laughed warily before burying her fingers in his fur. She relaxed slightly despite the throbbing pain in her leg. She felt her eyelids become heavy from the warmth of Percy's body heat and fur, and the lightheadedness caused by her large injury.

"Mmmmmhm." She hummed as she absentmindedly scratched behind his ears making his tail wag. His tongue lolled out of his mouth as he walked back to camp and barked out a laugh as Artemis continued to scratch behind Percy's ears. Percy sighed in contentment as he trotted along. He was worried for Artemis but not too worried, the wound certainly wasn't fatal, and she'd be up kicking butt the minute she healed her leg. She was a tough goddess and Percy was glad about it.

"I feel like a dog."

"You are a dog."

He growled quietly,"I'm a werewolf." He reminded her rather grumpily and she snorted, he could practically feel her roll her eyes. Percy didn't run back to the camp in fear of injuring Artemis's leg even more. Hot, sticky blood dripped down his fur making him wince. Her leg looked terrible, it looked like it had been through a meat grinder, the stench of her ichor that filled his nostrils made him angry at the wolf that had done this to her.

Before long the two had arrived back at the huntress's camp and everyone began to go into full panic mode at the sight of Artemis. The goddess lay feebly on top of the werewolf and hissed in pain when her hunters tried to move her.

Percy grew frustrated,"Don't touch her." He warned softly as he walked to her tent,"Her leg is really messed up, someone give her ambrosia," He instructed,"so that we can move her more easily."

"What happened?" Bianca asked worriedly as she gave the goddess ambrosia. The raw looking leg didn't look as bad as it had earlier but it didn't look much better. They had finally managed to get Artemis in her tent when he morphed back into his human form.

He felt someone shove him and he nearly fell to the ground. He looked up to see a livid Apollo who grabbed him angrily by the shirt and threw him at a nearby tree. Percy let out a snarl as his claws became unsheathed and he caught onto a branch and swung up on top of the branch. He growled menacingly at the god who glared up at him furiously.

"What did you do to her!" Apollo roared as he pulled his bow out. Percy nearly laughed until he realized the arrows were silver. The hunt was too busy caring for their goddess inside her tent to notice Percy's dilemma.

"Nothing! I saved her!" Percy snarled as he eyed the arrows warily,"Who are you?" Topaz clashed with blue ones as the two blondes glared at each other murderously. Apparently the old Percy had a decent amount of enemies as well as friends. And this enemy was a god nonetheless, of course, just his luck that his past had to antagonize a god.

"I'm Apollo! Artemis's brother-"

"The sun god." Percy finished before the werewolf slowly slipped down the tree,"Look, I just helped Artemis out, that was it. I didn't attack her-"

Apollo gritted his teeth,"Just stay away from her." He warned as pulled his bow back even further.

Gods, I hate Apollo.

What'd you do to piss him off?

...Dated Artemis...but I mean who could blame me?

Dear gods...DOES ZEUS KNOW!

...Oh shi-

Percy narrowed his eyes at the god,"No."

Now kick his butt.

No.

Listen to me! Fight him! You can take Apollo!

I know why he's mad...I"m going to talk to him.

You're kidding me.

Nope.

Fine! Die! See if I care!

Apollo's eyes flashed with utter hatred,"What'd you say to me? I said stay away from my sister!" Apollo hissed as he took a threatening step closer to the boy.

Percy sighed and looked down at his shoes,"I get it, I really do, you just want to keep your sister safe. I'm a lot like you in that sense-"

"We're nothing alike-"

"Are we not!" Percy challenged,"I beat up any boy who so much as looks at my sister the wrong way. And here you are threatening to kill me to keep yours safe." Percy smiled to himself,"You just want to keep her safe because she means the world to you, she's your best friend, and the thought of any boy hurting her makes you so angry." Percy stuffed his hands in his pockets,"And you just want to protect her from every bad thing in the world."

Apollo froze at Percy's accuracy of how he felt about his sister,"But," Percy continued,"you have to let her make her own decisions. Let her date who she wants, and if she gets hurt, then kill whoever hurt her." Percy noticed Apollo lower his bow and walked towards him before putting a hand on his shoulder,"Both our sisters are strong enough to beat up anyone and everyone. And we should be good brothers...but we shouldn't be as overbearing. We have to let them breathe. If Artemis is happy with me than let her be." Percy smiled slightly at the god who seeped to be debating how to react.

Apollo felt conflicted, he really wanted to hate Percy, but at the same time what the boy had said made complete sense. Apollo wanted nothing more than to kill Percy and protect Artemis. He just wanted his sister to avoid letting in another Orion. The old Percy had been the epitome of the Orion...except he actually...cared about Artemis. Apollo still didn't like Percy whatsoever but he could respect him for now.

"Alright Percy...until next time." Apollo shook off Percy's hand rather aggressively before vanishing. He wasn't done with Percy just yet. He'd make sure the boy realized who he was dealing with. He'd make sure Artemis was protected. And while Percy had a good speech, it didn't faze Apollo, the sun god would find a way to rid him and Artemis of Percy.

"Percy!" The boy jolted awake in his bed to see Phoebe standing in the doorway. She was panting heavily, her body was covered in sweat, and her hair clung to her forehead as her blue eyes looked at him worriedly. He glanced over at his clock, it was three in the morning, what in the world? Last time he checked Phoebe was giving him the cold shoulder.

He blinked blearily,"Phoeb, it's three in the morning, what's wrong?" He yawned and before he knew it he was tackled in a hug. His twin clutched onto him and buried her face into his chest. Tears leaked from her eyes as she held onto her brother tightly.

"I-I had a dream you died. You left me all alone." She breathed she looked up at her brother in utter sadness. Her blue eyes were dull and filled with pain as she studied her brother closely,"I-I couldn't save you in time!" She stammered as she choked back a sob, not wanting to wake Nico and their father,"And you died and I we were still mad at each other." She let out a small cry as she held her brother again and Percy hugged her to him just as tightly.

"I'm still here. I'll never leave you, I promise." He whispered as he rubbed her back comfortingly,"I've missed you." He confessed and Phoebe laughed lightly as she pulled away and wiped her tears away.

"I've missed you too-"

"I'm sorry I've threatened to kill you. I would never...ever do that. I love you more than anyone else." He told her truthfully,"You're my best friend...my baby sister. And I adore you." He chuckled as he kissed her forehead,"I know you deserve privacy...and boyfriend," He grumbled the last part,"I just get overprotective. I'm sorry. I'll give you space to...do your thing..." He winced,"I'll only beat up boys if they touch you without your consent, and if they cat call, and if they look at you the wrong way, and if they talk about you in an inappropriate way." Percy promised and Phoebe laughed heartily before kissing her brother's cheek.

"Thank you Percy, but I strictly flirt," She shrugged,"you know I don't like commitment." She then bit her lip before looking at him apologetically,"And I'm sorry...about what I said about having a mom...I just get jealous! And then Artemis and Snow came into your life and my jealousy grew. I've always wanted to be the girl in you and dad's life and I know that's selfish of me. Snow and dad are dating and she's your mother in your previous life. And you and Artemis are together and I'm...I've never had to deal with this. With Calypso you didn't seem extremely interested so I didn't worry about it. But with Artemis you threatened to kill me." She looked at Percy with a sad smile,"And I...I just didn't want to be forgotten." She admitted and Percy laughed at her making her scowl,"What!"

He shook his head,"How could I forget you! You're the most important woman in my life." He told her honestly,"And I...I know you secretly want a mom too." He muttered,"I know you want our mother...even though you're mad at her. But I'm sure Snow...she'd be thrilled to have a daughter." Percy suggested and Phoebe smiled at Percy.

"That'd be nice...Percy...can I sleep in your bed tonight." She asked shyly,"I just..." She stammered before trailing off in embarrassment.

Percy chuckled before scooting over and making room,"Sure." The two laid next to each other and slept back to back.

Calypso looked at Apollo in utter anger,"You're kidding me...Percy is with Artemis? And he's a werewolf!" She let out a low growl,"I don't like my toys being taken away from me." She began pacing,"And I was so close to getting him." She snarled and Apollo looked at her in surprise.

"I must say...I was surprised when you called me. I didn't figure you as the vengeful type-"

She smirked manically at the blonde,"You remember Odysseus, he was mine for seven years, and Percy was going to be mine forever." She chuckled dryly as she clenched her jaw,"You gods of all people shouldn't be surprised by my fake personality. That's how I get my beloved heroes." She cooed before tapping her nails against the table in thought,"I want Artemis out of the picture...I trust you can plan to keep Percy away." She smiled deviously at the god who looked uncomfortable.

"Why not just get a new...erm boyfriend?" Apollo prodded and Calypso looked at him incredulously.

"No. I want Percy!" She snapped,"He's perfect, especially his body," She grinned wildly,"in a couple years he'll look better than Odysseus! It'll be perfect. We'll both be immortal and I'll have him all to myself." She then looked at Apollo seriously,"If I can't have him no one can."

"What's in it for me?"

Calypso rolled her eyes,"Artemis most likely won't find love after Percy. You'll get the insurance that your sister will be boy free for the rest of her life. That and...you get to hurt Percy." Calypso smirked,"Just refrain from killing him, understand? He's mine." The seductress practically purred and Apollo looked away from her.

"What are you gonna do with Percy?"

"Why do you care?" She countered and Apollo bristled.

"I don't-"

"Then don't worry about it." She cut him off rudely,"Just go and do something about Percy and Artemis!" She snapped and Apollo narrowed his eyes.

"Watch how you talk to me-"

"Here's some motivation," Calypso interrupted,"Percy got to second base thanks to Aphrodite." She smirked as Apollo turned red and vanished, leaving the daughter of Atlas smugly smiling in her kitchen. Things would play out and Artemis would learn to leave her toy alone.

It had only been an hour later when Percy leapt out of bed. It was four in the morning and he raced out side. He didn't know what was happening before he collapsed on the front lawn.

It's my turn now, Delong. Jackson wants to play too.

The old Percy laughed menacingly and Percy began to panic.

What are you doing to me!

Making you better!

Percy trembled and let out a silent gasp. His entire body was in agony and his brain felt like it exploded in sheer pain. His back arched and he stared up at the sky in a silent plea for release of such torment. He squeezed his eyes shut as he fell to the ground. He then went still.

He let out a breath...but when he opened his eyes...he saw that he couldn't move his body. It was moving on it's own accord and his panic increased.

What did you do!

He felt himself breathe in relief,"Haha don't worry about it Delong! I'm just going to visit someone...you've kept in great shape! We look hot!" He laughed before completely shutting out the new Percy.

Jackson was suddenly a black wolf and sprinting toward the hunt.

Jackson POV:

Percy Jackson arrived at the hunt to hear the snores of all the girls. He morphed back into his human form with a devilish grin on his lips. He felt great to be back! Sure he was in a different body but now he was in control! It utterly amazing!

He crept into Artemis's tent,"Arty." He whispered and the goddess jumped awake quickly. His breath hitched, with his night vision he could see Artemis clearly, she wore a white t-shirt to sleep in and shorts exposing her tanned skin and long legs. Her hair splayed down her shoulders and she looked utterly gorgeous. Percy felt so excited as he swept her off her feet without hesitation.

"Percy!" She yelped and Percy just stared into her silver eyes that he had loved so much. He smiled stupidly at her as he carried her away from the camp,"Why are you here! Where are you taking me!" She demanded but he just looked at her like he hadn't seen her in years.

When they were far away enough Percy kissed Artemis heatedly. She looked at him in shock while hesitantly kissing back. She was unsure of where Percy Delong's streak of boldness came from. She didn't dislike it, but it wasn't his style whatsoever.

Percy held her tightly to his chest as he ran a hand through her hair and pulled away momentarily,"Gods I've missed you Arty...I've missed you so much." He murmured as he looked at her with utter adoration and love in his eyes.

Artemis's eyes widened,"P-Percy..."

He laughed and kissed her nose,"It's me! Jackson!"

She squirmed in his arms so he set her down,"Impossible, Jackson is dead, Percy this isn't funny. I'm tired." Artemis grumbled grumpily and the blonde rolled his eyes.

"It is me!" He insisted,"I can prove it! Our first kiss was on the beach at Camp Halfblood, we'd sneak off at night and spend time together, you wear black and silver underwear-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! How do you know about my underwear color!" She yelled angrily and Percy smiled sheepishly.

"Erm...call me curious? You were gone for a bit...and I crept into your tent and...looked at your underwear...and I was mad at you that day so I gave two pairs of your underwear to the wolves to play with." He confessed,"That and I was really hoping you wore like...gold underwear to match my eyes!" He waggled his eyebrows at her and she hit him repeatedly on his shoulder.

"YOU INVADED MY UNDERWEAR DRAWER!"

He grimaced at the blows,"And your bra drawer...I might have tried a pair on-"

"WHAT THE HADES IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Artemis screeched as she threw harder punches at him. Percy tried to avoid her blows as he laughed and caught both her swinging arms.

"I look pretty sexy in a bra," Percy smirked,"especially in a pink one!" Artemis's cheeks turned a bright red color and she narrowed her eyes.

"Don't you EVER tell anyone about what color bras I have." She growled lowly before Percy nodded with a smirk.

"My lips are sealed...moon butt." He winked and her mouth fell open...the entire conversation and the nickname. It had to be Percy Jackson, there was no way Delong knew of her other nickname, and only Jackson would be stupid enough to confess all the idiotic things he did. Elation filled her as she launched herself at Percy. The Percy that had saved her from the sky returned to her and she wanted to cry tears of joy. But she refused. Not in front of Percy! She got him back! He was here! She couldn't believe it! Her heart felt like it was hammering out of her chest and her mouth began to aching from smiling so widely and so much at Percy Jackson. The first and only man she had ever loved has come back.

"You're back! You came back to me!" She cried as she crushed him in a strong hug. He inhaled her scent, pine, gods he missed that scent so much. He missed Artemis so much.

He nuzzled his face into her neck as he wrapped his arms around her waist,"I never left." He felt so at peace having the auburn haired beauty in his arms again. It felt right and he was so thrilled.

Apollo crept amongst the trees stealthily, bow in hand, and he was covered in the scent of pine to mask is smell. The old Percy had taken over Delong and now he would slaughter the mutt once and for all. He wasn't going to let Artemis continue to be taken advantage by the wolf. Percy couldn't screw up his sister anymore, Apollo wouldn't' allow it. Artemis would forgive him later.

Jordan grinned manically as she aimed her bow at Artemis. This would make the moon goddess sorry. She had let her anger build up, Percy would pay and so would Artemis, this is what they deserved.

Persephone, Demeter, and Morpheus hid amongst the bushes and waited patiently as they watched the series of events about to take place.

"So this is where you ran off to." An angered voice spat and Percy and Artemis broke apart to see an angered Phoebe stalking towards them.

Jackson smiled widely,"Sup Phoeb! I'm-" He began shaking as he felt himself sink back into his mind. Percy remained standing as his eyes glazed over and became pure white. Both girls looked at him in shock and worry as he twitched.

Jackson looked around in confusion to see that he was in a bright white room. A white room he knew all too well. There was a single chair in the middle of the room but aside from that there was nothing else. It was just a black room. He saw a livid Percy Delong glowering at him.

"You'll pay for taking my body from me!" Delong snarled angrily and Jackson narrowed his eyes. Topaz eyes met their match as the two glowered at each other. A battle of dominance would soon ensue and they both knew it.

"I was here first! I was alive before you! The world wants Jackson back, Delong is just a sorry substitute!" Jackson roared and Delong shook his head before laughing dryly.

"Why don't you go cheat on Artemis?" He taunted,"Or slaughter some people? Your time has ended and mine has begun!" He growled and Jackson charged forward. They both attacked each other vigorously. They were both savage and territorial. Delong didn't want to share his body and his life while Jackson didn't want to share this body and Artemis. He was envious of the time Delong and Artemis spent together. It frustrated him beyond belief. Artemis was his, not Delong's.

"What's going on!" Artemis yelled in shock as cuts began appearing on Percy's arms. He just stared blankly ahead as blood trailed down his nose and pooled form his mouth. She began to panic as did Phoebe as they tried to tend to the cuts. They were popping up everyone and neither had a clue as to how to stop the excessive bleeding that appeared everywhere.

Delong dodged a punch from Jackson before launching himself at the raven haired boy. He raised a clawed hand and brought it down, Jackson moved his head to the side so Delong struck the floor instead, Jackson threw a hard punch to Delong's face making him fly backwards.

A black eye appeared on Percy's eye and Artemis shook him frantically,"What's going on! Percy wake up!"

Phoebe grew furious as another cut magically appeared on Percy's lip,"What'd you do to him!" She demanded and the moon goddess looked at her in disbelief.

"Nothing! He did this when you arrived." She bit her lip as she saw a black eye appear. What was going on? Why was this happening to them now? When she finally got her Percy back! She brushed the thought from her head as she let out a frustrated yell when more bruises appeared on his skin. Whatever was happening to Percy was injuring him. She didn't know what was going on or if someone was doing this to him but she was beyond scared. She couldn't lose Percy again. She refused to lose him again, it was so painful the last time, and this time it'd be worse.

Phoebe looked at her helplessly,"Please...you're a goddess! What do we do! I can't lose my brother!" Percy was literally tearing himself apart and neither girl knew how or why.

Artemis grimaced,"I don't know! I can call Apollo. But I've never seen anything like this before." She confessed and Phoebe gripped her hair tightly before grabbing her brother's hand. To her shock and worry it was cold in her hand.

"Percy...please wake up." She breathed as she stared into his lifeless, white eyes.

Delong had Jackson by the neck and threw him into the wall as hard as he could. Jackson slumped to the floor and both Percy's were covered in blood and bruises. They were tired from the fight by they were fighting to the death. Delong stalked forward with teeth bared and claws outstretched. Jackson rolled to his feet and launched himself at Delong making them both fall to the ground.

"ENOUGH!" A voice yelled and the two looked up to see a pale, brunette standing before them. She stood proudly as she looked at the two in annoyance at their fighting. They were mentally and physically destroying Percy, having two territorial wolves was a bad combination in an inclosed space.

She looked gorgeous and Jackson's eyes widened,"Persephone? What are you...how-"

She waved him off,"Morpheus owed me a favor. Anyway, you two need to stop this, Percy's body can't handle this. You'll end up tearing yourselves apart. And you can't choose rebirth a second time." She reminded calmly as the two Percy's looked at her in disbelief.

Jackson shook his head,"I need my life back! I'm not sharing with this bitc-"

"That's rich coming from a guy who took his own father for granted!" Delong roared and Jackson tensed, knowing full well that Delong was talking about Caesar. The raven haired teen took a step forward and snapped his teeth at the blonde angrily.

"Don't you ever bring Caesar into this-"

Apollo made a face, Artemis and that girl blocked his shot, how was he supposed to kill the boy! He put his bow down and he jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He jumped and whirled around to see Demeter putting a finger to her lips in a way to tell him to be quiet.

"Be ready." She whispered as quietly as she could.

Jordan smirked, Artemis and Phoebe, they were both close to the past and present Percy. This would be too good to be true. She aimed at Phoebe first and released the arrow. But she made sure to only hit the stomach so she'd die slowly, so that Percy would watch her die, and without waiting for the arrow to hit the girl she fired the second one at Artemis in the same spot. Sweet vengeance and satisfaction overwhelmed her as the two girls dropped. Screw you Jackson and Delong!

"LISTEN TO ME!" Persephone interrupted before a scream drew all of their attention to Percy's eyeballs. They looked out of them to see Artemis had fallen to the ground as well as Phoebe. Both had arrows in their stomachs and both Percy's began to panic.

"ARTEMIS!" Jackson screamed in horror. The love of his life laid on the ground with gold blood seeping from the hole in her stomach. She was pale and her silver eyes looked at Phoebe in desperation and fear. The auburn haired girl trembled as she looked at the arrow in disgust and anger. Who shot her? She muttered some cuss words as she looked over at Phoebe fearfully.

"PHOEBE!" Delong yelled in shock. She laid beside Artemis with crimson staining her clothes. Blood flowed from her mouth and she shook in pain. Artemis reached over and grabbed her hand and Delong felt tears prick his eyes. He couldn't lose Artemis, or his baby sister, they meant the world to him. Especially Phoebe. Oh gods, not Phoebe, she couldn't leave him.

"What do we do!" Delong asked urgently and Persephone grimaced.

"You need to merge together. Jackson, this won't destroy, it'll just transfer you memories and some of your traits. Delong, you'll regain control, just be quick because I don't know how long Phoebe can last." Persephone cursed under her breath, everything was happening too quickly,"Just...come together and then you'll be fine...hurry!" She ushered as the Percy's looked at each other.

Delong thrust his hand out and Jackson took it. Neither knew what they were doing but Jackson spoke up,"I-I'm willing to give up everything for Artemis...take care of her." He teared up slightly and Delong looked at him with a sad smile. Jackson loved Artemis more than anyone else. Giving her up was the ultimate sacrifice, but he had to save her.

"I promise I will. I'll have your memories. I'll love her." He assured his raven haired past. They both shook and a blinding light clouded Percy's mind making Persephone be kicked out of his mind.

"P-Phoebe." Artemis rasped as she grabbed the blonde's hand,"Y-You used to be a huntress...I'm s-sorry I didn't say anything." Artemis coughed out blood and winced at the sharp pain in her stomach.

Phoebe smiled wryly at her,"It's o-okay." She stammered while trying to catch her breath.

Artemis looked at her fearfully,"D-Don't die, okay?" Gods it hurt so much,"Don't die." She repeated and Phoebe just looked at her tearfully before nodding slowly.

"If I don't m...make it. Tell Perce I love him." She coughed as she squeezed the goddess's hand even tighter. Phoebe and Artemis had tears slipping down their cheeks as they looked at each other in understanding. Take care of him, Phoebe said silently and Artemis nodded sadly as she squeezed her old huntress's hand. She was going to die again and Artemis didn't know if she could handle that.

There was a loud roar and Bear's brown wolf trampled through the forest clearing. His eyes wild as he rushed towards the tree Jordan was in. The girl screeched in horror as powerful jaws snapped her leg and dragged her off her branch. Bear began tearing Jordan apart limb from limb. Bear had tracked Phoebe and Percy here to see his daughter with an arrow in her stomach and Percy being completely lost in his mind.

"NEVER ATTACK MY DAUGHTER!" He roared as his jaws clamped down on her arm and she withered in pain from the wolf's teeth. Bear's rage clouded him and he didn't notice anyone else as he took care of Jordan. No one touched his baby girl. She would suffer.

Phoebe felt like she was on fire. The silver caused her to scream in agony and she began to wither due to the pain. Blood flowed from her chest and a cry escaped her lips. Gods, she just hopped she got to say goodbye to Percy before she died.

Demeter, Apollo, and Persephone were on the scene as Apollo hurriedly rushed to his sister,"No, Phoebe first." The goddess growled, and Apollo nodded in understanding despite his worry for his sister, Artemis would live...and she deserved to live without him breathing down her neck all the time. He looked down at her apologetically. He almost killed Percy, Artemis deserved to be happy, and Apollo knew he couldn't keep holding her back from what made her happy. But if Percy hurt her he would be killed on the spot with no hesitation.

Percy woke up gasping for breath as he collapsed on the ground. His brain hurt like crazy, it was throbbing, and trying to process all the memories Percy had taken from Jackson. It hurt like crazy as did his body from beating himself up. He and Jackson nearly tore himself apart.

Delong had gained a lot from Jackson when they combined themselves. He gained his humor and a bit of his charm back along with his past self's memories. It was...amazing and eye opening. He remembered everyone he had reacquainted himself with. It was truly beautiful. He knew why everyone was so important to him.

He was sweating profusely and quickly turned to his sister. Apollo was working diligently on her wound and Demeter and Persephone stood a was away worriedly.

She looked up to see him and smiled faintly,"Percy." She breathed,"I-I'm sorry...I don't think I can hold on..." She trailed off tiredly. She was almost gone.

He grabbed her hand and looked down at her teary eyed,"It's okay...I"m here." He soothed as tears streamed down his cheeks. He was going to lose her, oh gods, she would die. But she was his other half, quite literally, twin telepathy was no joke. Percy and Phoebe were extremely close and now she was going to die. He could feel his heart slow as well as hear hers slow as well. Their connection to one another was weakening due to her dying state and Percy let out a small sob. He couldn't lose Phoebe. This wasn't fair.

"Move back!" He looked up to see Nico crouching over her,"I can help Apollo save her." He said confidently and Phoebe laughed lightly.

"My hero." She coughed and Nico smiled down at her gently.

Percy looked at him in surprise,"Where'd you come from-"

"I don't sleep very well and all of you are loud when you leave the house." He shrugged before pushing Percy away lightly,"Go take care of your girl. Me and Apollo go this." The son of death promised,"I didn't become my dad's immortal champion for nothing. I know how to save souls." Nico assured him and Percy nodded uncertainly before hugging the boy. Bear came over, covered in blood, and hugging Percy tightly before turning to his daughter worriedly.

Apollo smiled in relief,"She'll make it." Bear let out a breath of relief as Nico worked extra hard to keep her soul intact while Apollo healed the wound. Phoebe had fallen unconscious and didn't hear the quiet cheers and sighs of relief.

"Thank gods." Percy murmured before turning to Artemis,"How are you feeling?" Percy asked softly except when he finally looked at her something within him snapped. He and Jackson had been morphed together and now...he fell hopelessly in love with her. He was experiencing the emotions Jackson did when he first fell for Artemis. He could remember everything about Artemis and the hunt. He had done some terrible things but what mattered was that he could actually remember how much he loved the goddess. He remembered why he loved the goddess and why she was so important to him.

Thanks Jackson.

Except this time there was no answer.

She laughed,"I feel terrible thank for asking...what happened to you?" She coughed as Apollo began to fix her wound.

Percy laughed in relief as he kissed her forehead,"It's a long story."

"GET A ROOM!" Phoebe yelled as Percy shamelessly kissed Artemis. It had been a year sense the predicament had happened. The hunt and packs had moved around constantly throughout the year and Calypso had been long forgotten much to Artemis's relief.

Percy and Phoebe sat within the ranks of the hunt with Nico at their side. The hunt had begrudgingly let Nico travel with them, though Bianca had been thrilled along with Phoebe and Percy, and Julius still refused to leave Percy's side. Percy remembered everyone, and strengthened his bond with them.

Bear stood diligently with Lupa and Snow. They had decided to combine Snow and Lupa's pack to strengthen their pack and to put an end to their competition. Bear and Snow had became mates and the pack hung around with the hunt whenever they could.

Percy looked at Phoebe with a smirk,"Stop watching us, creep." He teased as he kissed Artemis again who laughed and slapped his chest playfully.

"Behave, Delong." She had fallen hopelessly for Delong even though she knew he and Jackson had combined themselves. Percy's personality hadn't changed all that much besides the humor and charm. He was still a bit on the grumpy side.

Nico chuckled,"You two are disgustingly cute together."

Bianca snorted,"You got disgusting right."

Percy rolled his eyes,"Yeah, well we all know you're secretly gay for Zoe...so..." He trailed off and Bianca and Zoe both turned a bright red and glanced at each other awkwardly.

"We are not! We're just best friends-"

"With benefits." Artemis finished and she and Percy high five while the two gaped at them and everyone else laughed. Zoe and Bianca glared at each other than Percy and Artemis before becoming silent. They most certainly were not gay for each other!

Lupa smiled at the Percy and Artemis,"I'm happy everything's worked out. Percy, if your girlfriend can let go of you for two seconds," Artemis scowled,"we'd all like to open up a position for you in the pack."

Percy smiled at his mother before shaking his head,"That sure is nice of you guys, but I'm a huntress now!" He scoffed,"Someone hand me my sparkly silver bow! I have to look, like, totally fabulous before I kill boyz!" Percy squealed in a high pitched voice making Nico laugh rambunctiously. Bianca and Artemis smacked Percy upside the head and Bear laughed.

"Understandable...I just might join ya!" He joked and Phoebe wrinkled her nose.

"Ugh. Dad...leave the jokes to other people, like mom or Percy! You're not very good at them." She teased and Percy laughed while Bear snorted.

Snow nodded,"I have to agree with our kids on this one." Snow had happily accepted Phoebe as her daughter.

Persephone appeared with a brilliant smile on her lips,"Everyone...I must thank you all! I'm free!" She felt the overwhelming feeling of happiness envelope her. She was finally out of Hades's clutches and was free to do what she pleased. She could actually go find love! She wouldn't have to be in the underworld anymore. Artemis, Demeter, Apollo, Morpheus, Percy, Nico, Thalia, Annabeth and even the hunt had vouched for her freedom. People actually cared that she was suffering and it brought tears to her eyes. They had all so easily stood up for her and argued with both Zeus and Hades as to why Persephone deserved freedom and the choice of whether she wanted to stay or not.

Zoe grinned,"I'm glad we could help."

Percy nodded in agreement,"And thanks for...erm making Pertemis happen." Everyone looked at him in confusion and he blushed,"What! Pertemis is Percy and Artemis combined! It's our shipping name!" He huffed and Artemis frowned.

"Our shipping name?"

"Yeah! Like, people want us to be a couple so they call us Pertemis! I think it's pretty awesome!" He insisted and Artemis's frown deepened.

"People ship us?"

"Uh huh!"

"Like who!"

A voice interrupted them,"Your mom!" They looked up to see Thalia strut to the group with Annabeth in tow.

Artemis rolled her eyes,"Real mature." Her silver eyes met topaz as she snuggled deeper into Percy's chest.

Annabeth snorted,"You wanna talk about mature when you and Percy carved your names on the tree over there." She snorted and Artemis frowned.

"No we didn't-" She stopped when she saw Percy look away awkwardly,"You're kidding."

"What's it say?" Phoebe prodded her twin and Percy grinned widely at her.

Moonbeam & Mutt forever...or until one of them is killed because they piss everyone off.
