I am laying in my bed wondering if I should get up and get dressed. I was invited to the wedding but I don't think its right for me to go, I didn't even go to the rehearsal dinner last night because it just felt too weird. I got up got dressed and had my keys in my hand ready to walk out the door when I saw the picture of Ally, Austin and I at prom and I placed my keys back down and just didn't go. I look at the ceiling trying to figure out if I should go to the wedding or not, I just don't think it wouldn't be right of me to go. How can I watch the woman I am in love with marry someone else? I stare at my ceiling and think. I bet she looks absolutely beautiful. I am trying to decide what to do when I hear a knock at my door.
I get up and shuffle to my door. I open the door and see Ally in her wedding dress staring at the ground. She looks absolutely stunning. It takes me a minute to realize she shouldn't be here. "Ally?" She looks up at me with those eyes that I can lose myself in and I see she is conflicted, hurt and upset under all that I think I see happiness. It's her wedding day she should be happy. She should be bouncing up and down and screaming for joy. Her voice is so small, "Can I come in?" I move aside and she walks in and sits on my bed with her dress moving out around her like it is nothing, like this is nothing. I can't stop staring. She looks so beautiful; more than normal.
I shake my head again when I realize she is not supposed to be here. A part of me is so excited that she is here right now but then the good moral part of me is worried and saying this is not right. I walk over and sit on the bed beside her. Its quiet for a few seconds and I don't talk because I know she just needs to think, then I hear her voice so small again, "Have you ever did something you regret?"
I turn to see her head down playing with her engagement ring on her finger.
I look down at my lap, "More than you can think." I see her nod next to me from the corner of my eye, "I regret a lot." I look at her and after a few seconds she meets my gaze, "Ally what could you possibly regret? You have amazing children. You are the Ally Dawson and are marrying the Austin Moon. You graduated top of our class next to me." I hear her giggle, "You are going on to do amazing things. What could you regret?" She shakes her head and looks at the floor, "More than you could know." I don't push her. I know better than to push her. I look back to the floor until I hear sobs coming from her bringing my attention back to her, "I.. I.. think.. I'm making a mistake." I look at her, "Ally, you think of everything and then you do it again, I don't think you have ever made a mistake." She shakes her head with tears coming down but the sobs have died down, "I made a mistake when I got pregnant, I made a mistake not telling Austin, I made a mistake getting that house with Austin, I made a mistake going to this stupid school, I made a mistake going out and being stupid, I made a mistake losing myself for so long and hurting everyone and I think I made a mistake letting you go." She looks up at me and I see the hurt in her face and the confusion in her eyes. I know this is killing her. I know she is worried about what she is doing and having cold feet. I love Ally more than anything in this world. I would do anything for her. I trust my life in her hands and would die for her. I have fought all along for her. I would continue to fight for her until the day I die. I have been all along but... I have to do what I have to do. I have to do what is right, no matter what. I shake my head and let out a huge sigh as I brace myself for my final heartbreak from this girl. I have to reassure her not ruin her.
Grabbing her hand I look at her, "None of those were mistakes Ally. They were you becoming you. They were you growing up and learning what to tell Aubrey when she gets older. They were you gaining wisdom and being the person you are right now. You are amazing and nothing will ever change that." She nods and I look at her, "You know this sweetie. You have always known that, now why are you really here right now?" She bites her lip and looks down, "I don't know if I can do it Alex." I move closer and rub her back in small circles. I could do it right now. I could make Ally mine. I look into her eyes and see that it's not me she is worried or concerned about. I am once again her fall back boy and will never be her first choice. Man does this hurt. I just need to remind her of her feelings and take the heartbreak for the final time. "Ally, do you love Austin?" She nods, "More than anything." That hurt but I have also known that all along. "Would you change anything that has happened between the two of you?" She shakes her head immediately, "No, I love my life. I love where I am. I can't imagine my life turning out any other way." I look at her, "Would you have ever said no to Austin asking you to marry him?" She shakes her head slowly, "No. I love him." I smile through the pain in my chest and look at her, "Then I think you have your answer sweetie." She looks up at me and nods. She hugs me and I hug her back as she relaxes. I just did that, god I am so stupid. I pull away and see the happiness that was buried under her concern take over her face. She looks so happy. All I would have done was break her heart and ruin her. She loves Austin and is happy to be marrying him, I have to suck it up. I just want her happy. She smiles wide, "I am getting married." I nod and smile before standing up and holding my hand out for her, "Now let's get you to that wedding." She laughs and grabs my hand. I lift her up and she fixes her dress.
I see the Ally I know come back when she takes charge, "Now you get dressed mister. We have my wedding to get to." I laugh and bow slightly, "Right away ma'am." She laughs and I grab my suit and walk to the bathroom to get dressed. I come out and she claps, "Looking good." I smile and put my hand out, "Now let's get you to your wedding." She smiles and I grab my stuff as I watch her grab her dress. We walk down the empty hallway which I leave tomorrow. I hold the door open for her before she gets in her car and I get in my truck. I watch her drive off and take a deep breath as I look up at my room wondering if I could bail deciding that would be rude, I follow her. I watch her pull into her driveway and get out. I watch Trish, Mimi and Hanna run out and watch relieve take over their faces before she turns to me with a smile. I wave and drive to the venue to watch Ally marry Austin. God, I am so stupid.
Ally's Pov….
I watch Alex drive away. I am engulfed in hugs. "Oh my god." "Where did you go?" "We were freaking out?" "I almost had to call Austin." "We need to get going." I look at them all and smile, "I just had to work through some things. I am better now. Let's go get me married." I watch them all smile before they grab my dress and we walk to the limo that has been sitting on the side of the road. I get in and look around. This is amazing.
I sit and enjoy the ride waiting for the limo to stop at the venue. I drink some champagne while we drive. I can't stop smiling and Trish has noticed taking multiple pictures. The limo stops and I see people outside and look at Trisha and Mimi who smile at me. Trish gets out making sure no one sees me and then Mimi follows again making sure no one sees me. I watch them get everyone inside. Trish disappears and comes back as Mimi goes in.
My dad comes out and the driver opens the door. Hanna smiles at me before stepping out. I smile and look at my dad as he bends his head in, "You ready honey?" I nod and put my hand in his and step out before placing my other foot out and getting out. I stand up and I see my dad gasp. I watch his eyes water. "Awe, sweetie you look so beautiful." I smile and he leans in and kisses my cheek. "I couldn't be prouder." I smile and he puts his arm out, "Shall we go make people wait?" I smile and place my hand in the crook of his arm as Trish holds my dress up and we all walk into the venue. I am walked straight to my room and no one sees me. Hanna opens the door and I walk in to see everyone else. I receive squeals and Aubrey runs up to me. "Mommy!" I pick her up and she looks so adorable in her little flower girl dress with flowers in her curly hair. She looks at me and smiles wide, "You look pretty mommy." I smile and kiss her, "Thank you baby. You look adorable." She smiles and flips her curly hair, "I know." We all laugh and I place her down.
The girls do last minute touch ups. I look at Trish in her strapless amazing silver dress with a diamond belt that is longer in the front and shorter in the back. She smiles at me and I look at Hanna and my other two bridesmaids in their one shoulder shiny amazing silver colored dresses that are long flowing and that form fits them some around their waist. I watch them all holding their bouquets with white and silver roses. Their bouquets are wrapped in a lace and are simple but pretty. Mine has white roses in it and one blue rose in the middle. It has jewels in with the flowers and the way the flowers are they sparkle at certain angels. The bottom of it where I hold is wrapped in the same material as my dress and has one string of jewel wrapped around it.
Mimi knocks on the door and comes in, "Honey we are almost ready?" I nod and she smiles as she looks at me, "You look absolutely stunning sweetheart. He will fall even more in love with you if he doesn't die first." I laugh and she hugs me. "I see you have something new." I smile down at my shoes before smiling at Hanna. My dad looks down and when I lift each foot up he starts to laugh and I point to Hanna, "Good one." She smiles and Mimi looks at me, "And I see you're something blue." I smile down at my flowers, "Yeah." She looks at me happy, "Well I would like to take care of the something old." She looks at me and reaches into her clutch and pulls out her necklace that Austin told me has been passed down in her family from girl to girl for years. I gasp and she smiles and moves behind me, Trish lifts my hair as Mimi snaps the necklace in place. It falls right above my other one. "I want you to have it." I turn to her holding it shocked. "I can't pass it on to a girl because I only had a boy but you as much of a daughter to me than anything and I would be honored if you would take it and continue the tradition. You gave give it to Aubrey at her wedding." I look down at my daughter with teary eyes. "Mimi, thank you. I know how much this meant to you." She sighs, "It did mean a lot to me but you mean even more to me darling." I smile and pull her into a hug. She looks at it on me and smiles, "I think you were made to wear that necklace." I look down at it and smile. Trish comes up and smiles, "I have your something borrowed." She holds out a very familiar whistle necklace. "I was told to give this to you and you put it wherever you think you should and that he wants it back." I laugh and nod as I watch her hand it to me. I look down at it and it brings back so many happy memories of seeing this around his neck. I hold it to my chest and smile.
A knock is heard on the door and I watch as a head pokes in, "Can I enter?" I nod and Mike enters and smiles at me, "You look stunning Ally. My son isn't going to know how to handle himself." I smile and he kisses my cheek. "You all need to go get ready, we start in just a few minutes." The girls all wish me look as they walk out. Mimi smiles, "I will be outside Mike." He nods and I turn to my dad, "Can you give us a second?" He nods and walks out as well. Mike looks at me, "You really do look amazing Ally. Austin won't be able to handle himself." I look down, "How is he doing Mike?" He laughs, "He is on cloud nine. I can't get him to stop smiling or shut up about how his dreams are coming true." I smile and look at him, "He's doing okay then?" He nods, "He's doing great. Are you?" I nod, "I had a moment but I was just scared. I can't imagine marrying anyone but Austin." He smiles and hugs me, "I know you can't. I knew you loved my son the moment I met you and I knew he loved you the moment I seen him stare at you." I smile and he shakes his head, "I know he can be stupid sometimes Ally and I know he screws up a lot but you and those kids out there are the only things he has ever done right." I smile and he pats my shoulder, "You're a good one and you're good for him." I smile and hear a knock, "We are ready to go." I nod and Mike smiles, "I honestly am just trying to say I'm so happy you are marrying my son and welcome to the family." I smile and watch him leave and grab Mimi's hand before they walk away.
The door closes again and my dad smiles, "I can't believe my little girl is getting married." I smile and he looks at me, "At least you are marrying a good guy and a guy I know will take care of you." I smile and he hugs me to him, "I just want you happy sweetie. Are you happy? If you aren't we can leave right now and take the kids and never look back." I smile and shake my head, "I am so happy dad. I can't imagine anything else." He smiles, "Good." I hear movement outside and then Trish knock, "Go time girly." I nod and see my dad smile at me I put my hand through his arm and cup his arm with my hand and smile up at him. I stop before we walk out the door feeling the whistle necklace in my hand, "Wait." He turns to me confused. "I have to put this on, Help me please." He nods and I wait as he hooks the necklace and smiles, "Austin won't be able to see it honey." I smile, "Let it be a game." He laughs and puts his arm out for me, I put my hand through his again and cup his arm with my hand as I smile at him again as Trish looks at me, "It's really time Ally."
I walk out with them and stand off to the side with my dad as I see them line up. I watch as Trish and Dez walk down then Hanna and Jace, I then watch as my friends from college walk down Kim and Austin's friend Chris lastly I watch Gavin and Ashley walk down. Aubrey goes down with Aiden and I watch as she throws flowers with one hand and holds Aiden's with the other. They make me smile. The doors close and my dad and I step in front of them. Melissa looks at us and then the door. I hear the music start and my dad look at me "Are you ready?" I look up at him and smile wide, "More than ready."
The doors open and I see everyone stand as my dad and I take the first step but my eyes immediately go to the end of the aisle where I see the one person that matters right now.
Austin's POV….
I watch everyone walk down and take their place. I try to catch a glimpse of Ally but it's no use. I see Aubrey and Aiden walk down holding hands and Aubrey throwing flowers and I smile wide. Awe, my babies are growing up so quick. I watch Aubrey bring Aiden to stand by Gavin before going and standing by Ashley. I smile and I look up to see the doors closed. I know she is right behind it, just open it and I can see her. I'm waiting and literally feel like bouncing in my spot waiting for that door to open. I look at Dez and he smiles and places a hand on my shoulder. I hear the music start and my heads snaps to the door. I see everyone stand and then finally the door open. I gasp as I see Ally and her dad standing there and smiling at each other before they take their first step. My eyes lock with hers and I am stunned. She looks absolutely breath taking. It takes me a minute to remember I have to breathe. She is wearing a heart shaped strapless dress that is fitted under her boobs to right above her hips on the sides and a little lower in the front before it poufs out in a princess way except normal princess poufs are done in tulle or something but her entire dress is silk and I can see crystals in the dress making it sparkle and it looks absolutely stunning on her. Her hair is done is curls but not normal curls or weird curls they are elegant and cascade around her and down her back. They pulled her side bang into her hair and made it look amazing. Her makeup is light but it made her eyes just sparkle and pop. I see her veil in her hair and she just looks like a princess. I watch as she walks to me and I just stare into her eyes the whole time. She looks absolutely beautiful. She is taking too long to get to me; I just want to run down there and get her and carry her away.
I see them stop in front of me. Her dad smiles at her before kissing her cheek and placing her hand in mine. He looks at me and mouths 'Take care of her.' I smile and nod, she hands Trish her bouquet and we look at the priest and he smiles, "Can everyone please be seated?" I hear everyone sit down and I lean over and whisper in Ally's ear, "You look breathtaking." I hear her hold her giggle in the best she can and smile, "Thanks."
The priest smiles, "Ladies and Gentlemen, today there will be no dearly beloved, no betrothed, and no ancient rhyme of the married.
Today there are no dead languages to solemnize vows that are very much alive and will remain so for a lifetime.
Today promises become permanent and friends become family.
However, this day is not about the words spoken or the rings exchanged, nor is it about grand pronouncements and recessional marches.
This day – the day of Ally and Austin's wedding – is about love.
One of my favorite authors once wrote, "If love is not all, then it is nothing: this principle, and its opposite, collide down all the years of my breathless tale."
Ally and Austin, your breathless tale is about to begin.
If love is not all, then it is nothing.
Its opposite – If love is all, then it is everything – is going to be the basis for every aspect of your relationship.
All you have to do is simply love one another and that love shows through in everything you do for one another, how you treat each other, in good times and bad.
Love isn't just a word; it's an action.
Love isn't something you say, it's something you do.
Love is genuine, honest, and open, compassionate and kind, passionate and blind, love doesn't know
space or time, nor look through jealous eyes, and in the modified words of Paul in his letter to the Corinthians, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
Love never dies."
There are many different kinds of love, almost if not all of which are represented here today.
There is romantic love, the love of parents and children, of brothers and sisters and family, and love among friends.
Not only do Ally and Austin love one another romantically – and they do, you can see it in every look, every touch, every moment they're together – they also love one another as friends.
In fact, they're best friends, constantly giggling and taunting and teasing and very plainly and obviously having fun together.
That love and enjoyment of each other as best friends will sustain them through this marriage.
In addition, the love collectively in this room, from friends and family, will help sustain and support the promises they make today.
All of us here will help solidify this bond, as these two individuals are joined as husband and wife.
This new journey will be at times richly rewarding and extremely difficult, but, most importantly, it will be a journey you take together.
Marriage is much more than your signatures on a legal contract.
You are promising, in front of all these people you love, that you want to be with each other and only each other for the rest of your lives, and that you will do everything in your power to honor the promises you are making here today.
For their part, the people who love you will also do everything in their power to try to help you hold up your end of the bargain." He looks around and smiles. "The Bride and Groom agreed on doing their own vows and we will hear from them now."
I turn to Ally and hold both of her hands in mine as I stare into her eyes, " Ally, I know I have messed up a lot and I will make that up to you for the rest of my life. I honestly never thought this day would come. You gave me chance after chance and I thank you for that. You will never have to give me another chance because I am taking this one and using it for the rest of my life. When I first saw you in Sonic Boom I knew you were the one I would marry. I loved you from that moment but was too young and scared to realize it. You are the greatest thing in my life. You gave me four wonderful kids. You give and give and take care of everyone but from now on I am going to be taking care of you. I am going to be the one giving you everything you could ever dream of. You mean the world to me and I don't know where I would be without you and I never want to know. You are the sun that wakes me up every morning and you are now going to become the moon that I will also watch and stare at before I fall asleep every night. You have been my best friend, playmate, confidant and my greatest challenge." I see her smile a little, "But most importantly, you are the love of my life and you make me happier than I could ever imagine and more loved than I ever thought possible. You have made me a better person. Everything about me is better when I am with you. You know me better than anyone else in this world and yet you still somehow manage to love me." I hear laughs from the crowd, "You are my one true love and there is still a part of me today that can't believe I am the one that gets to marry you. These are my promises: With my whole heart, I take you as my wife and acknowledge and accept your faults and strengths as you do mine. I promise to be faithful and supportive and to always make our family's love and happiness my priority. I promise to always be around when you need me. I promise to support all your dreams and follow them with you. I promise to love you for the rest of my life. I promise to be the most dependable person in our house. I promise from this day forward to live my life as a member in a band and not a solo artist. You are my person—my love and my life, today and always."
Ally moves her hand from mine and wipes at her few tears that fell. I take my free hand and wipe her cheek before she places her hand back in mine, "Austin, You are my soul mate, my best friend and everything I could dream of and more. I wasn't sure love could survive everything that we put it through but you were. You were always sure when it came to us and now I know I want you to stand beside me for the rest of my life. I promise today to be your rock, your best friend still and your wife. I promise to cherish, honor and love you through all of life's adventures. I swear to always and forever be your confidant and you mine." I widen my eyes at her and she nods making me smile more loving that I will be the one she comes to, "I promise to support and follow you through all of life's joyous moments and challenging ones. I promise to never stop having fun with you and laughing with you. I vow to grow old with you and to keep the kid in you alive. I vow today to be your co-captain of team Moon and be your one true companion because let's face it one lifetime with you could never be enough."
I laugh a little and smile before I blink away the tears I have. We turn to the priest and he shakes his head, "There is not much more I could add to that." He looks at me, "Austin Monica Moon I ask you today, will you stand by Alyson Marie Dawson, care for her, hold her in the highest regard and die with this love you have for her untarnished in your heart? Please answer "I Will"". I smile and look Ally in her eyes, "I will."
He turns to Ally, "Alyson Marie Dawson, I ask you today, will you stand by Austin Monica Moon, care for him, hold him in the highest regard, and die with this love you have for him untarnished in your heart? Please answer "I Will"" She smiles at me and stares into my eyes, "I will."
The priest smiles at us, "As you exchange these rings, let them always remind you of your vow to love, be faithful and never give up on one another. Austin as you place the ring on Ally's finger, please repeat after me…."
I smile and start to repeat after the priest smiling and looking into Ally's eyes the whole time. "Ally, as I place this ring on your finger, may it always remind you of my never-ending love, and may it always remind me of the precious treasure I have in you. Wear this ring with joy, for your love has made me complete." I smile as I slide the ring firmly on her finger.
The priest turns to Ally, "Ally, as you place the ring on Austin's finger, please repeat after me…" Ally stares straight into my eyes, "Austin, as I place this ring on your finger, may it always remind you of my never-ending love, and may it always remind me of the precious treasure I have in you. Wear this ring with joy, for your love has made me complete." She slides the ring on my finger and I love the feeling of it. This baby is never coming off.
The priest turns to the audience. " For as much as Austin and Ally have consented together in holy matrimony, and have pledged their love and loyalty to each other, and have declared the same by the joining and the giving of rings, by the power vested in me, and as witnessed by friends and family, I now pronounce you husband and wife." He turns to us and smiles, "You have kissed a thousand times, maybe more. But today the feeling is new. No longer simply partners and best friends, you have become husband and wife and can now seal the agreement with a kiss. Today your kiss is a promise. Austin you may now kiss your wife." I smile wide, "With pleasure." I bring her to me and kiss her passionately. We pull away and the priest smiles, "It is with great pleasure that for the first time I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Moon."
There are claps as I grab Ally's hand and she is given her bouquet from Trish before we start down the aisle to claps. I walk by one of my family members and he shouts, "Now the sex is allowed." Ally and I laugh as we keep walking. We turn the corner and go to her room while we wait for everyone to join us. I smile and push her against the wall and start to kiss her the way I wish I could of. She moans into the kiss and tugs at my hair. I pull away and smile wide, "I have wanted to do that since I saw you." She smiles and fixes her dress, "Awe thank you." She smiles up at me, "I wanted to kiss you too baby." I smile, "Mrs. Moon, god I love the sound of that." She smiles and nods, "Ally Moon, I could get use to that." I laugh and we hear the door open and see everyone come in, "It's time for pictures."
I nod and we walk out to the limo and cars and go to where we are getting the pictures done.
We park and I get out and help Ally out. We all get pictures together. Aubrey throws flowers up in the air at the last minute making everyone laugh. Aubrey and Aiden join Ally for a picture where she gets down and they both kiss one of her cheeks as she smiles. Aubrey and Ally get one alone and smile at the camera as they both throw flowers. They have one where Ally bends down and kisses Aubrey. They have one where Aubrey is looking up at Ally admiring and Ally has an arm around her smiling down at her. They get a few more doing cute poses. Aiden and I cross our arms pouting and do more poses. Aiden and I join Ally and Aubrey. I pick Aubrey up in my arms and Aiden is in Ally's and we smile at the camera. We place them down and wraps our arms around each other and kiss and they both cover their eyes. Ally sits on the ground and her dress poufs around her and Aiden and Aubrey and the twins all sit with her and they smile and she has them all sit closer to her and smile. They have a really cute one of Aiden kissing Ally through her veil and then without her veil. We act like we are walking and you get Aiden, Ally and I's back and then Aubrey, Ally and I's back. They then have one where I kiss Aubrey's cheek and make her giggle. They have one where I sit in the flowers and she pokes my nose. They have one where she gives me a kiss. They then have one where I have Aiden in my lap and Aubrey is leaning over my back kissing me. I then sat in the floor and had all four of the kids laying on me somehow. Then Ally and I both sat on the ground with my arm around her and the four kids in front of us. Then all four made funny faces.
The whole group gets a few pictures together with smiling and making funny faces. Ally and I stand together and our party on the sides of us. They have a picture of Ally kissing my cheek with our party smiling. They also have one where I picked Aubrey up and she is laughing and everyone else is smiling. They caught a picture of us where everyone was talking and smiling and I grabbed Ally's hand and smiled wide and held it up. Then the whole party made a heart and the camera got us from the top smiling at it. They then got where Dez, Trish and I all hold Ally in our arms as she lays across our arms smiling wide. Ally and all the girl gets pictures together doing cute poses and then just smiling. They get them all holding their bouquets out and up. They get them all holding and looking at Ally's hand. I do the same with the boys except we make funny face and jumped around. I have my arms around their backs in one picture. And in one I am on Dez's back and he is spinning me. Another I jumped in their arms and they are all holding me up. Ally, Trish and Hanna do a few pictures by themselves just smiling and showing off their shoes and bouquets and their backs.
Ally's dad and her take a few pictures by themselves and I think they turned out amazing. They had her holding everything smiling and him kissing her head. They caught him as he wiped his eyes from laughing so hard and Ally checking on him. They also have one of Ally hugging on his arm as he looks at her. They got Ally kissing his cheek with her bouquet out in front of her. They also did a pose of him behind her and her staring at him in admiration like they did when she was younger.
Ally and I do pictures next. They have me giving her a kiss. They have us walking with our arms around each other and got our backs where our arms are entangled. They then have us smiling holding adorable signs that say Mrs. for her and Mr. for me. They have me dipping her and looking into her eyes as her hair and veil flow out. They have me kissing her cheek as she smiles at the camera with closed eyes. They have where I am behind her and wrap my arms around her and she leans into me and look up at me lovingly. Then one where I meet her gaze in the same position. They have me twirling her in the flowers Aubrey dropped everywhere. They have her pointing and laughing as I jumped up in the air a little distance away. They have us walking and then just turn our heads toward the camera smiling. Lastly we put our hands together and smile as they get a picture of us smiling and showing off our rings. They got a few of Ally by herself and a few of me. We did pictures on the way back to the limo just enjoying ourselves.
We all get back in the limo and head off to the reception. The limo parks and I get out before helping Ally out. We walk hand in hand into the venue. We wait as everyone else goes in and I smile. "This is honestly one of the best days of my life." I watch her smile at me, "Mine too Austin." She smiles and leans up kissing me. The doors open and I smile, "Time to go mingle." She laughs and I hear the Dj, "Making their first appearance, please welcome the happy couple. Mr. and Mrs. Moon." I grab her hand and put it in the air as we first walk through then start dancing and she laughs and joins. We make it to our seat and the dj laughs, "Now that the couple has arrived, let's get this reception started." I laugh and watch him start playing music. I look at Ally, "Let's go mingle so we can enjoy ourselves later." She nods and I get up and take her hand and we start walking around the room telling everyone thanks and talking with some people for awhile.
We finally finish when food is coming out. We walk to our seats and sit down as we get food. I smile thank the waitress before I start to eat. I watch Ally eat and look around to make sure my kids are eating as well. I find them with my parents eating and smile. I finish eating and the dj starts the good music back up as everyone finishes. Everyone start to get on the dance floor and I smile. "I wanna dance." Ally laughs, "Of course you do. Come on." I smile wide and grab her hand as we hit the dance floor. I start to loose myself in the music and see Ally do the same thing. We are all just enjoying ourselves and having fun.
"I would like to have the bride and groom come join me on the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple." I place my hand out which Ally places her hand in and we make it center stage and the music starts.
When your legs don't work like they used to before And, darling, I will be loving you 'til we're 70
And I can't sweep you off of your feet
Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love?
Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks?
And, baby, my heart could still fall as hard at 23
And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
Maybe just the touch of a hand
Well, me - I fall in love with you every single day
And I just wanna tell you I am
So honey now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart
I'm thinking out loud
Maybe we found love right where we are
I pull Ally to me and place my hands on her hips as she wraps hers around my neck and we start to move slowly. "You look breath taking." She smiles, "Thanks again." I laugh, "I can't help it. You just look so amazing today." She laughs and moves closer to me as I zone the music out, she moves her hands to around my back as she places her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her head as we move around and cameras click. She leans back up and I put my hands back on her hips as hers go back to my neck. I spin her out and then back to me making cameras go crazy. She laughs and I notice the music getting to an end. I dip her as the song ends and she smiles at me as I smile at her. "Kiss." "Kiss." "Kiss." I laugh and bring her back up, "You heard them." She smiles, "Better do what they say." I smile and lean in kissing her and wrapping my arms around her. I hear claps and whistles but I don't care. Today is the best day of my life. I married Ally Dawson, opps, Ally Moon now. That just makes me so happy.
We walk away and everyone joins on the dance floor again. I laugh and we start to just enjoy ourselves again.
Not too much longer, "I would like the father of the bride and the bride to come join me on the dance floor for the father daughter dance." I watch her dad come over and smile and take her hand and walk to the dance floor and start to dance.
Look at the two of you dancing that way
Lost in the moment and each other's face
So much in love you're alone in this place
Like there's nobody else in the world
I was enough for her not long ago
I was her number one
She told me so
And she still means the world to me
Just so you know
So be careful when you hold my girl
Time changes everything
Life must go on
And I'm not gonna stand in your way
I smile as I watch them move around and her smiling at him the way I hope Aubrey always looks at me. I watch them talk softly as they move.
But I loved her first and I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it's still hard to give her away
I loved her first
How could that beautiful woman with you
Be the same freckle-faced kid that I knew
The one that I read all those fairy tales to?
And tucked into bed all those nights?
And I knew the first time I saw you with her
It was only a matter of time.
They both stare at me after that line and make me look away causing them to laugh. I then hear the dj, "All fathers and daughters can join in now." I look for Aubrey and pick her up smiling, "Let's go dance princess." I smile and hit the floor and start to dance with Aubrey in our first slow dance and she is smiling like crazy.
But I loved her first and I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it's still hard to give her away
I loved her first
I look over and see my dad tap Mr. Dawson and I hear him ask, "Can I cut in?" Mr. Dawson nods and smiles, "Just for a moment though." My dad nods and cuts in. I watch as Ally and my dad dance together.
A little bit later Ally's dad comes back and takes back over. I place Aubrey down and smile, "Go have fun princess." She smiles and runs off.
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
Someday you might know what I'm going through
When a miracle smiles up at you
I loved her first
I walk over as the next song starts, "Can I cut in?" Mr. Dawson smiles and steps back, "Anytime son." I smile and take Ally's hands and start to dance with her again. She laughs, "I am very popular today." I smile and laugh, "You always are." She laughs and I hear the microphone, "Okay, it is my turn to sing now." I look up and try to see who is singing but I am brought back to Ally when she moves. I smile and follow her as she pulls me with her.
Ally turns a corner and smiles wide, "What are we doing out he…" I am cut off by Ally's lips on mine and her hands tangling in my hair. We pull away after a few minutes and she smiles, "Well I have been wanting to do that and two I have to go to the bathroom." I laugh and look at her, "Want me to get Trish?" She shakes her head, "Nah, I think I can do it." I nod and watch her walk to the bathroom as I walk back into the room and am confronted with Trish, "Austin where is Ally?" I point to the door, "She just went to the bathroom." She slaps, "You idiot. She can never hold that dress buy herself." I watch her run out the door and cuss. I walk out the door and follow Trish to where Ally went. I knock on the door and see Ally open it laughing, "I need help." I smile and nod, "Trish over here." Ally laughs and shakes her head as Trish pushes me out of the way and closes the door. Ally and Trish come out a few minutes later and I grab Ally's hand as we walk back to the party.
We walk in and here the dj, "Cake time everyone." I laugh and pull Ally with me to the cake table. We hold hands together and cut the cake smiling. She takes her piece and tries to feed it to me but tripped and got it everywhere. As I hold her against me I laugh down at her, "Aw really?" She laughs and I grab her piece and smash it on her face. She laughs and pulls me down into a kiss. "Let's go get cleaned up." I nod and follow her back to the bathroom to get the cake off us. I grab a towel and start to wipe the cake off her face. She smiles, "You know this cake taste amazing." I laugh, "Well I will find out when I can get my piece." She laughs and pulls me to her, "Try it now." I smirk and nod, "With pleasure."
Twenty minutes later we are all cleaned up and back in the reception with our own pieces of cake to eat now. We finish our cake at our table and I look up as Dez clinks his glass, "I am supposed to make a toast as the best man." We all turn and look up at him, " I have known Austin since we were kids. He was always running around dancing and singing and being the center of attention, so as you can tell not much has changed." We all laugh and he looks around, "I have only known Ally a few years but it feels like a lifetime." I smile at her and look back at him, "She is amazing, smart, talented and beautiful, why she married Austin I will never know." We all hear laughs again and I shrug before receiving a kiss and Ally yelling out, "I love him." Dez laughs, "I know you do Ally. These two have loved each other since the very first time they met and it was a crazy ride getting here but it was well worth it to see the smile not only on my best friends face but also on my new best friend who I am now welcoming into our crazy little family officially." I see him put his glass down and come over and hug both of us before grabbing his glass and toasting it up in the air, "Congratulations the two or you and I wish you a long and happy marriage."
I smile and watch him sit down before Trish stand up, "Again I am beat out. Anyway I have known Ally for years probably as long as Dez has known Austin. She has always been this amazingly talented beautiful girl she is now except she was always really shy. When I first met Austin I could tell she loved him but was scared and she tried to stay away. Austin is the same person I met those few years ago a super talented energetic big kid. Austin brought Ally confidence she never had before and made her enjoy herself while Ally brought Austin down to earth and made him focus and be serious at time. What I am saying is this two are good for each other because they bring their weaknesses into strengths and make their strengths even stronger. Like Dez said it was a crazy rollercoaster getting to this part but I would go through it all with you two again if it would put us right back here with those smiles on your faces. I have never seen Ally or Austin this happy. Congratulations you two, you deserve to be happy and have a wonderful marriage. " We all take a drink and I smile as the toasts ends eventually.
I stand up and grab Ally's hand, "Before this amazing night ends and we take off to our honeymoon, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone sitting here right now to celebrate with us one of the happiness days of our lives. I am beyond excited and am happy to have all of my friends and family here to enjoy this time with us." I pass the mic to Ally who smiles, "I am so happy you all came and hope you all are enjoying yourselves. I want to go ahead and say thank you for the presents because I honestly don't know when I will get the cards out to thank you all individually so a big thank you. You didn't have to get us anything and it means a lot that you did. I am excited to start this new journey with the only person I could imagine being beside me." I lean in and kiss her.
We all join in on the dance floor and I watch as Alex comes over, "Can I cut in?" I nod and he takes Ally's hand and my mom takes mine and we dance near them. I hear them talking. "You look so happy. Happiest I have seen you in a long time." I watch her smile, "I am happy." I watch him nod and continue to dance with her. My mom laughs, "Honey, stop trying to be noisy." I laugh and look at her, "I'm not being noisy mom. I can hear what everyone is saying around us." She looks at me and then laughs, "Your right, I can too." I laugh and keep dancing with my mom before she leaves to dance with my dad. I look around and see Ally. I walk over to them, "Can I cut back in?" Alex smiles and nods, "Anytime. She's your wife." I laugh and smile, "Still so new." He laughs and nods, "Congratulations you two." I watch him walk off and start to dance with Trish. I smile at her and she looks at me, "Can we take a break for this song?"
I nod and lead her to our table where we sit down. I see her foot says Mrs. "What does the other one say?" She looks at me, "Oh." She lifts it up and I see Moon. I die laughing, "That is awesome." She nods, "Hanna got them." I laugh, "God she is the best." I watch her nod and smile with me. I look at her and see my mom's necklace. "You got the necklace?" She nods and touches it. "I was so touched." I smile and kiss her, "It looks amazing on you." She laughs and then it hits me, "Wait, where is mine?" She smirks, "You have to find it." I look at her and search her neck and arms and don't see it. I don't see it anywhere. "Is it in your bra or something? Because I can't search that here." She laughs and slaps me. I watch her lift her leg up onto my lap making me gulp. I watch her lift her dress and there around her ankle wrapped multiple times is my whistle necklace. I smile and pull her to me and kiss her. "Time for the bouquet toss and garter toss." Austin laughs as I stand up and grab my bouquet. I watch her walk to the dance floor. "All single ladies to the floor." I watch Ally smile, "Ready?" I hear yells and see her smile, "One, Two, Three." I watch her throw it over her head and turn to watch it land straight in Trish's arms. Trish looks up at her, "I wasn't even on stage." Ally laughs and shrugs as Trish shakes her head. I walk over with a chair and sit Ally down in it before getting down and lifting her dress up some. I feel so weird doing this. I go under and feel the garter hit my mouth. I pull it down with me and to her foot. I take my hand and get it over her shoe. I look around and throw it and don't see who caught it. I help Ally up and smile at her before kissing her.
We dance a few more dances before we have to leave. I kiss Aubrey, Aiden and the twins goodbye and Ally does the same. I look at my mom, "Call if you need anything?" She waves me off before she nods, "We won't." I laugh and am pushed by my mom to Ally, "Go enjoy yourselves." Ally looks at everyone, "Your gifts are in my bedroom. Don't forget." The party all nods and leaves to go see us off. I smile and reach down interlocking our fingers as we walk out of the building and have flowers being thrown over us and bubbles blown. I smile as she climbs into the limo and I climb in behind her. Trish already packed our bags and everything and put them in the limo earlier so the limo driver takes us straight to the airport.
I smile as she leans into me with a yawn. Her head is on my chest as she starts to play with my ring on my hand. I smile as I look down at her. I love her more and more every day. She is the love of my life and I am so excited to start this journey with her.
Ally's POV…
I look up at Austin and smile before playing with his ring again. I can't believe he is actually mine. I am actually his. I knew this day was coming because I was engaged to him but I never thought it would feel this amazing. I can't believe I was so scared earlier today. How could I be scared to marry my first love and the only love that I always return to? I feel the car stop and look up to see a plane. I look up at him, "Private plane?" He nods, "Jimmy's gift to us." I smile and he gets out before helping me out. The driver gets our bags out and the lady takes them on the plane as Austin scoops me up bridal style making me squeal. He smiles down at me before climbing the stairs on the plane and carrying me to the couch. He places me down and buckles my seat belt before sitting down and buckling his. A few minutes later we are up in the air and on our way to our honeymoon.
I yawn and lean on him and he wraps his arm around me and kisses my head as I play with his ring again not believing this really happened. I married Austin Moon and am now myself a Moon. We are starting our lives together and I am excited and nervous for the journey awaiting us but like always I know we can get through it all. I smile up at him and am given a kiss. I just know we can make it through anything that comes our way on this new journey. We are Austin and Ally after all, we were always meant to be together.
Thank you everyone who read this story and the first one. It means a lot and this journey is by far not over. The third story called Growing Up Moon and has its first chapter up now. I hope you like it as much as you liked the other two. Thank you for all of the support and nice comments.
I hope the wedding was everything everyone thought it would be. I worked on it really hard. I googled like everything and hope google and I did it justice for everyone. The vows and the priest talking was a mixture of my own brain, real vows from people and again google.
Thank you for everything. Please review and don't forget to check out the third one called Growing Up Moon and it want to thank a friend for helping me come up with that title.
