Summary: Hashirama came back home with an interesting news.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or anything afflicted with any other video games, anime, manga or comic.

A tall man opened a door, and entered his home.

"I'm home!" Hashirama called out as he closed a door and removed his sandals.

A red haired beauty with a twin buns appeared at the entrance hall. She wore a simple beige kimono and a delicate purple diamond tattoo on her forehead. She was Mito Senju nee Uzumaki, the former daughter of the Uzumaki Clan Head and a wife of the most powerful ninja, Hashirama Senju.

"Welcome home, Hashirama." Mito greeted him warmly.

"Where is Tokonoma?" Hashirama inquired his son's wherebouts as he placed his sandals on the floor.

Mito replied, "He went out playing with his friends."

"And Heika?" He picked up and placed his indoor slippers into his bared feet.

"She's with Toka." Mito immediately noticed an extra happy bounce in her husband's stride as he walked toward her. Hashirama gave her a chaste kiss on her cheek.

Mito returned a same gesture to her husband, looking upward at him curiously.

"Something good happening?" Mito asked.

Hashirama just laughed and replied jovially, "Indeed it is! You would never guess what happen few hours ago!"

"Somebody wants to be our ally?" Mito guessed. Her husband always seemed that he was in a good mood whenever somebody show an interest to reside in their home or want to be their ally.

"Not somebody! It's a big shot clan from a Land of the Water sent a missive to us, and guess what? They said that they want to come here and live in our village!"

It perked up her interest. As far as she knew, the majority of the major ninja clans and influential ninja families in Konoha were the natives to the Lands of Fire. Sure, there were few of the ninja families hailed from other lands, migrated into Konoha.

The main reason for the few foreign ninja families migrated to Konoha were, they sought the protection under the two powerful clans; the Senju Clan and the Uchiha Clan, and find a new home. They usually lost their land to the stronger enemy and kicked out of their native country.

However the major ninja clans from other countries were completely different story. The major clans were more powerful and stable. Their stable power helped to keep the clan rooting in their native land for the centuries. A result was, they rarely left their ancestral land and preferred to stay there.

A major ninja clan from the Land of Water was a first foreign major ninja clan to show an interest in residing in Konoha.

"Oh, wow, really? That's... amazing. Which one?"

"Shihoin Clan."

Mito blinked slowly as she absorbed the information her husband unexpectedly revealed to her.

Mito heard the multiple rumors about that reclusive clan. The Uzumaki Clan did receive the missions from Water Country once a while. As far as she knew, her clan was neutral toward this clan. Occasionally, they ran to each other. They fought against each other, and often ended up in a draw. They left each other with no hard feeling. They respected each other for their enormous strength and skills.

If they asked the Uzumaki Clan about their view toward the Shihoin Clan, her clan members simply shrugged and replied, "Well, that women are beautiful and very strong."

Although some women with a strong jealousy and the narrow-minded men in her clan did not think highly of the Shihoin women due to the unsavory rumor about the Shihoin kunoichi seduced the men in order to steal their seeds.

In Mito's personal opinion toward the Shihoin Clan, she thought that the Shihoin kunoichi were an ideal example of the woman warrior who are strong and don't take crap from others.

"Really? The Shihoin Clan actually wants to move in and live here?" Mito said, surprised by a fact that the Shihion Clan was well known for its isolationism.

"Yep! Madara and even Tobirama were surprised by that. We already sent back a reply to them. They will send their embassies to us in next three weeks."

"I see, you will prepare our village for their arrival, then?" Mito tugged him lightly. She directed him to the intended room.

"Yes, I will inform them tomorrow." Her husband confirmed as he tagged along behind her. They entered the spacious kitchen room. The fragrant scent of the hot tea floated in the air. Mito already prepared the tea and light snacks for him when he returned from his work.

Hashirama sat on the chair. His wife gracefully sat down on the chair in a front of him.

"Thank you!" He said gratefully to her as he picked up a snack. He proceeded to eat a snack. The stress on his body, that built up from earlier this day, melt away.

Mito smiled warmly as she watched her husband enjoying his snacks and drink.

Once when he felt a bit refreshed from eating the snacks and drinking a hot tea, he slowed down and began to converse with his wife. "I'm forward to meet them in next three weeks! I wonder about... what kind of people they are? Maybe I tell Toka about them coming here? Or... "

Whenever Hashirama was in a good mood, he always rambled a lot. Mito enjoyed listening at her husband's rambunctious chatterings.

A/N: Finally, we have Mito here! We find out that Hashirama and Mito have the two children; a boy and a girl, named Tokonoma and Heika respectively. After all, they married young and have the children early due to a fact that the ninjas from the Warring States Era lived up to 30s and often died early.

We also learn about the Uzumaki Clan's mixed opinion toward the Shihoin Clan. It seems that they respected the Shihoin Clan's strength, but slightly wary of the Shihoin kunoichi due to the unsavory rumor that they seduced the men.

I hope that you enjoy Mito's viewpoint and like their children's names.

Translation: As per the Senju tradition to name a son after the space or room and have -ma attaching a name, I named their son, Tokonoma. Tokonoma is a built-in recessed space in a Japanese style reception room, in which items for artistic appreciation are displayed. In English, a tokonoma could be called an alcove.

As for their daughter, I named her as Heika. Heika has another formal name, Nageirebana which is a style of ikebana. Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It usually displayed in a tokonoma. These names come from the research on the tokonoma and ikebana.
