Over the many years, Naruto had taken over for his father as a king, to be honest he had been rather nervous about the whole thing. Yet, over time it seemed that everyone had started to like how well Naruto had taken over. Minato spent most of his time with his granddaughter Kazumi, in the hopes to teach her about their family history. Kushina, of course taught Kazumi about seals and healing. The young man was sitting in the throne room as he went over a few things.

Sadly, today was one of the days that he had to be in the kingdom to go over some of the paper work with a few of the new rules that he had been trying to change. One of the rules, was that about loving a human.

Sure, many people had been against him for loving Hinata, and fathering a half-demon daughter. Yet, over time they have learned to accept it or, well… face a very angry father's wrath.

That had only happened once. It was when Kazumi had turned five and many of the demons had tried to harm her, others wanted to kill her because of her human heritage. The moment Naruto found out, he unleashed his power and dominance over the demons and threatened them if they laid ah and on his daughter or mate, they would of course, be killed.

After that, no one bothered to try to attempt anything on Kazumi's life. Nor, have they even tried on Hinata's.

Now though, there were a few people who were still against humans and demons being together, but even after all this time, more and more demon/human couples were coming out. It had amazed him just how many demons had human mates. He sure hadn't thought it was more than that, he had always assumed that it was only Naruto and Sasuke that had human mates.

The only thing he had to worry about now, was trying to make sure that he didn't make any mistakes as a king. Yet, his father gave him advice here and there, but he knew that he still had to be careful regardless. Think things through properly before he made any kind of choice about the whole thing.

"Dad?" came a voice, causing Naruto to look up at his young daughter. Kazumi looked about ten in human years though really, she was near her eighty's now. Her blue hair was past her shoulders and her four blue tails swayed behind her. "Are you done yet?" asked Kazumi with a frown on his face.

"Almost. Have you learned anything new today?" asked Naruto with a frown on his face.

"Yeah, grandma taught me about some more seals. Though, what had me curious was about some time portal." Kazumi said with a frown.

Of course, the portal was still in place yet had never been used yet. He wasn't sure if this Kazumi, would have to travel back in the past to make sure that his present would remain intact or not but, he figured that he still had a long way to go since Kazumi was still just a child. Turning his gaze to the door, he saw his mother just smiling at him before walking away. Yeah, his life was amazing now, he had everything that he ever needed, yet he just couldn't be sure if this would be a guarantee. It almost seemed like a dream.

Yet, he still remembered everything, there was no way that it could be a dream. Everything that he had gone through, just go be with Hinata, just to make sure that he could have a happy life with her and their daughter. Letting out a soft sigh, the young man walked over and picked up his daughter and held her in his arms before walking out of the room. "Ya know what, I could use a break. Let's go see what mommy is up too shall we?" Naruto said with a smile before he started to walk with his daughter, kissing her cheek as she let out a giggle.

He wouldn't change anything that had happened. Sure, he wished that the war never happened in the first place but other than that, he wouldn't have changed a single thing that had happened in his life. Yet, if he really thought about it, it made him wonder if, well if the war hadn't happened it wouldn't have made the love he and Hinata shared as strong as it is now.

Thankfully, he didn't have far to walk as he made his way toward the garden. It was the one place that he really did enjoy walking too yet, he also knew that was where Hinata liked to go to as well. Letting a soft smile grace his lips, he looked down at his daughter and saw her bouncing in his arms a bit. It seemed that it was her favourite place as well.

How could anyone not like the gardens, it was just so peaceful and filled with life. Naruto even found peace within himself when he had went there. Taking in a deep breath, he saw opened the door and couldn't help but smile gently at his wife. There she was, sitting on the grass with two children resting their heads on her lap. One boy, blonde hair much like himself, though in a way his hair resembled more of a leaf instead of the spiky locks, he had his eyes closed as he listened to the humming of his wife. The boy wore a simple red and black track suit. On the other side, was a little girl that had hair similar to the boy, though it was blue just like Hinata's. She wore a long sleeved pink sweater, a white skirt with ruffles and black tights. Over a lock of her hair that stuck out the top of her head was a two bead hair tie. Just like the boy, her eyes were closed. On both of the children's cheeks were two whisker marks much like his own, though he had three instead.

"Hinata." Naruto whispered softly.

Hinata stopped before turning over to Naruto and smiled happily. "Naruto, careful Boruto and Himawari are sound asleep." He chuckled softly, he looked down at his family, love and pride swelled in his heart as he gazed down at his family. To be honest, growing up he never thought that he would have anything even close like this. He didn't think he'd find a mate, a wife really. Never thought that he would have such a close bond to his parents again like he does now. Now, heh, now he has three beautiful children and he never wanted to change that for anything in the world.

"What are you smiling for Naruto?" asked Hinata softly.

Chuckling, Naruto sat down with his wife as he pulled her close. Well, as close as he could without waking up the kids. "Just thinking about how I had once thought how my life would be. I didn't think I'd have any of this in my entire life. Now, I have everything that I didn't think I would ever obtain in my life and it was all because of you." Turning to his wife, he smiled gently, setting Kazumi down as he watched their daughter for a moment. Seeing how she ran off to the garden to look at all the colourful flowers.

"I used to think that everything in my life was so far out of my reach. Now though, now it is in my grasp and it was all because of you." He leaned closer to her, his eyes heavy with the love that he had for this woman. "Hinata, you are the light of my life and the only person that I could ever love. Our children are proof of that and I wouldn't trade you for anything in the whole world." Kissing her gently, Naruto wrapped his arms around his wife as he let the love he felt for her just seem to flow through her.

Yet, the kiss was short lived for he soon felt two blurs crash into him, causing him to yelp.

"Daddy!" shouted the two children, causing Naruto to laugh. Yup, he definitely wouldn't change anything in the world. Yet, he would change the fact that his two youngest children do like to tackle him a lot when they see him. He couldn't help but chuckle at that thought.

The End.
