I would like to thank all of you for the continued support, it means the world to me. Well, this is a few weeks late, but here is the epic conclusion to 'I Never Should Have Fallen'.

Please be warned that there are zesty bits, and that I do not (regrettably) own Fairy Tail.

"I moved." Erza and Cana stared at me with wide eyes; I suppose I probably should have started the conversation a little softer, but I had put it off for three whole weeks. "So, it's probably not a good idea to break in anymore… the new tenant might not take kindly to surprise visits." I tried my best to ignore everything else going on around me as I waited for one of them to respond.

"This calls for a party!" Cana suddenly snapped back to her senses. "Break out the booze, Mira!"

"No booze for Lucy!" Mira called back as she danced right into the Thunder legion. "I will have healthy happy babies to spoil."

"Something is fundamentally wrong with that woman." I choked on a laugh as Mira grabbed Freed and started leading him around the pool deck.

"Kinanna bring the party supplies!" Cana decided to ignore Mira, signaling the other woman to do her bidding. "We are going to give Lucy the send off of a life time."

"I'm only moving a few hours away, it's not like I won't be back." I rolled my eyes, knowing that Cana simply couldn't turn down any opportunity to enjoy her sweet booze. Not like she needed a special occasion to begin with.

"And where, may I ask, is the man of the hour?" Levy wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. She waded across from the wall to where I was, trying to ignore the fact that someone had done a cannon ball that just so happened to splash her right in the face.

"He said there were some 'things' he wanted to take care of before we head home." Levy gave a small pout as she pushed her hair back, securing it into a messy pony tail.

"That guy always has something up his sleeve, what do you think it is this time?" Absently I twirled the shadow box pendant between my fingers, wondering just that. He hadn't given me any details when we parted ways, just left with a smile and a kiss.

Cana caught the action and moved towards me, a predatory gleam to her eyes.

"Well, well, well…" She whistled low, reaching out to grab the second pendant, turning it over to inspect it more thoroughly. "I never would have guessed." She let out a sharp bark of laughter that brought a tear to her eye.

"What?" I stared down at the small square pendant with concern flooding my system.

"If you keep this up, Bisca's new little one will get a playmate." My face turned red as I snatched back my necklace. "Those are supposed to last twenty years or so of getting it on." Cana shook her head in amazement.

"Shut up Cana." I gave her a warning glare.

Mira had perked up at the sound of 'little one', completely abandoning Freed as she made her way back to the pool side. I could already feel the head ache coming on and they hadn't even started fighting over who was going to be the God Mother of my imaginary unborn child yet.

"Alright, alright, just remember to replace it before the magic drains completely, if you forget, you will have diapers to change for sure." She snickered, patting my back a little too hard for comfort.

"Or you could just do away with it completely and give me beautiful babies to spoil." Mira smiled with sparkling eyes from the pool side. "There is no shame in giving me all your pretty babies."

"You'll have Bisca's new baby in a few more weeks." I pointed out.

"Yes, but I want more than one; a brand new generation of little ones that I can slowly force – I mean convince that they belong with one another." She clapped her hands together, her eyes sparkling with joy. "Just think of the beautiful babies, your beautiful babies will make! I can't wait!"

"She's really gone off the deep end, hasn't she?" I turned back to Erza to see her face drained of color. "What's the matter Erza?"

"Bbb-b-babies… e-eeveryone… having b-bb-babies."

"No Erza, only Bisca is having a baby." I gave her a soft smile.

"Actually…" I turned to Levy, she gave a timid smile and poked her belly button playfully. "I was meaning to say something this morning, but with Elfman and Ever's engagement announcement, I just…"

"Congratulations!" I was overjoyed for my friend, and now that she had mentioned it, a pretty little ring on her finger told me that she had more news. "When's the wedding?"

"Auntie Lucy, tell me the story again, please?" I smiled down at the two little boys as they tugged on my skirt. It seemed unreal how much taller they had both grown over the month that I had been away, but that was how it went with growing boys.

"Which one would you like to hear, Raven?" I lead the two children over to a table, setting the younger one on my lap.

"All of them!" The two boys chorused with broad smiles. Raven had a toothy grin that resembled his father's in the most adorable way, and Conrad was the spitting image of his older sister Asuka.

I laughed at their simultaneous response, this wasn't the first time, and I knew it wouldn't be the last. "Now, you know I can't spend the next two months telling you every single adventure I've ever been on, so pick your favorite." The two boys looked at each other, and started a whispered conversation.

"I personally want to hear the story behind that." Levy had come up from behind, pointing to the new piece of jewelry on my left hand. The blue haired woman stroked her full belly as she took a seat next to Conrad, her bright smile encouraging me to give her a tale worth listening to.

Slowly I raised my hand up in the air, letting the dark stone catch the light as I recounted the events that took place that morning. Things would need to be left out, what with the children being so young and all, but the story wouldn't suffer from it.

"Alright then." I settled back in my own seat, taking a deep breath. "Let me see." I tapped my chin as I decided where the best place to start the story was. "Happiness is a treasure worth more than any amount of jewels in this world. When you find true happiness, you should latch on and never let it go."

It was a Wednesday morning.

I woke early that day, knowing that I had to head down to Fairy Tail to meet up with Happy for our monthly mission. I had become accustom to the travel, but it still was difficult to stay away from the guild for such extended periods of time. Especially so now that Levy was expecting her second child, and little Raven was going to be coming to stay with Rogue and I when the delivery date got near.

Rolling to the side was proving difficult however, with the strong arm thrown over my naked torso, locking me in place.

"I have to head out soon, baby." I tried to pry his hand from my hip bone, but it only made him drag me in further. This was part of our routine as well, and I knew very well that I wasn't going to be leaving anytime soon. I rolled my eyes as he nuzzled his nose into my messy hair.

"You don't have to go, you've got the day wrong." He mumbled, as his hand slide up over the bare skin of my stomach, leaving me free to wriggle towards the edge of the bed (if only by an inch).

"I have the right day, and if you want breakfast, you should let me go." He hummed his understanding, but his hand did not stop its sweeping motion as his warm fingers ghosted up towards my bare breasts.

Rogue's tucked his nose right up against my ear, and with a smile (because I know it was there) he whispered the phrase that had become my weakness. "You're staying right here."

I gasped as my back was pulled flush against his body, his wandering hand trailing back down my exposed stomach at an agonizingly slow pace. Words died in my throat as he shifted the blankets from between us, locking our lower bodies together.

My legs shook as his calloused fingers reached the sensitive flesh of my womanhood, a whimper slipped out of me as the fire from the night before was reignited. I wanted nothing more than to curse him for keeping me from getting ready for my trip, but by the time his mouth descended on the juncture of my neck and shoulder, I was completely lost in the haze of need. "Don't you dare tease me." My voice was already affected, coming out breathy and low, his wonderful playful nature stealing my urgency.

"You like it when I tease you." He nipped at my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.

"Absolutely beside the point." My argument was breaking apart as his canines dragged across the pulse point in my throat; I tried to hold back the deep moan that came as a reply, but it was no use. Rogue pressed his other hand to my back, skillfully angling me so he could slide right in. His right hand stilled, as he pushed the last few inches forward.

"Better?" He chuckled against my ear again, as he slowly pushed forward filling the deepest parts of my body.

"Mmm hmm" I bit my bottom lip as his hips grounded into my back side, driving him in deeper still. Intelligent thought was long gone as he set a slow and steady pace, knowing that if he was too 'enthusiastic' it might end up hurting me. It was something special to have a full twenty four hours of nothing but enjoying the company of my insatiable boyfriend, however my body couldn't always keep up.

"We can stay in bed all day you know." The offer was tempting, and I was getting close to agreeing when his pace picked up, forcing my words to melt into a whimper. In one fluid motion Rogue rolled me onto my stomach, pressing hot kisses to my shoulder blades as he continued his tamed assault.

My head was already swimming, the endorphins drowning out the screaming of my sore muscles. Rogue slowed, adjusting his stance as his hands roamed over my skin, driving the fire into a blazing inferno. "Don't stop…" I couldn't help myself anymore, all I wanted was to feel that euphoria of release.

"Shh" Again I could feel that cocky smile pulling at his mouth as Rogue pulled himself from me. He enjoyed watching me squirm as his fingers knotted in my hair, forcing my face into the mattress, it had become one of his favorite forms of torture. He listened to my muffled whimpers as he inched slowly back into the deepest recesses of my body.

The new pace stoked the fires inside, dragging me steadily to the brink of madness. I struggled against Rogue's hold, desperation for both air and fulfillment. I raised myself on my knees, hands gripped tightly in the sheets as I rocked back to deepen the connection. My actions broke Rogue's concentration, as evident by the deep growl that was shortly followed by his teeth biting into the flesh of my shoulder, forcing me to stop my own movements. Secretly I loved forcing him to do it, there was just something about the feel of his teeth breaking the surface of my skin that completely enthralled me.

"The greatest happiness in this life is that of love." The two boys made a face that was typical of children their age, and both Levy and I found ourselves holding back laughter. "The bonds we form with one another are all important boys, but one day someone more special than anything will come along and you will want nothing more than to spend a lifetime getting to know every part of them, to share your adventures together."

We collapsed on the bed, breathless and content. The covers had been kicked to the floor, the lamp on my night stand was knocked over, and a very unfortunate pillow had been tossed towards the open closet door.

I was giddy in my bliss, rolling over to wrap my arms around his neck.

"Will that tide you over till I get back?" I playfully nipped at his lower lip, knowing the answer was a steady no. We could never get enough of each other, and I hoped we never would.

"How long are you going to be gone this time?" He leaned forward, his forehead pressed against mine.

"A week, two at the most." No matter how many times we had gone through this routine before, it never seemed to get easier. "And when I come back we'll have a small distraction." We were both excited to watch over Levy and Gajeel's son for a few days, though I knew he would miss his partner in crime while he was with us.

"That's going to be different." Rogue tugged my arms from around his neck, rolling off to his side of the bed. I too rolled onto my side, my cheek cradled in my open palm.

"I'm going to shower, are you coming?" My concentration was solely on Rogue's lovely tight back side.

"Wait, I just need a minute." I let my eyes travel up, taking note of the tense muscles in Rogue's shoulders.

"Is everything alright?"

"Love is part of that never ending adventure, it is full of excitement and uncertainty."

"I've spent a lot of time trying to come up with the perfect way to say this… to ask…" Rogue stopped, taking a deep breath. "I can't imagine waking up in the morning without your hair in my face, I can't think of coming home from a long hard job to an empty house. I never want there to be any question, I want you to make me fall deeper in love with you every day for the rest of my life. So, will you be my wife?" I couldn't seem to make my voice work, as tears streamed down my cheeks. Rogue sat back on the bed next to me, the smile I loved more than anything in the world spread across his face.

He held a delicate metal ring in his hand, with a dark gemstone flanked by bright rubies. It rendered me breathless, leaving me without the wherewithal to respond. I gasped, the happy sobs stilling momentarily as I forced out a single word. "Yes."

"Auntie Lucy, is very much in love, and now I get to start a brand new adventure."

"Once upon a time-"

"Not so very long ago."

"Ruby, we've talked about this, haven't we?"

The little girl rolled her bright brown eyes and sank back into the soft covers of her bed. "Yes." I laughed softly and tucked the blanket back around her shoulders. "I'll be quiet."

"Now, where was I? Oh yes, in the beginning a young mage wished an impossible wish. She dreamed an impossible dream. She blindly followed an idiot, with girlish admiration and hearts in her eyes." The little girl laughed, she loved that part of the story, and so did I. "For a moment the young woman was happy; she had everything she could have ever asked for. She had more than she ever thought she deserved." I leaned back against the foot board of the large bed, smiling as the little girl yawned, my hand reflexively rubbing circles on my full belly.

"Thankfully that wasn't the end of the young mage's story… you see our heroine realized that she never should have fallen. The idiot gave our heroine the worst heartache she had ever known, making her doubt everything about her life, about herself, and about the world she knew. However without the idiot to break her heart, the young mage may never have found her Happily Ever After, and this is where our story starts."

The End!

Or is it just the beginning? So, the faithful shall be rewarded, I am working on the companion piece done through Rogue's point of view. As always thanks to the wonder, crazy ladies of CFLA, my rock in the raging storm of blah! I'll be starting a new project next week titled 'The END of Me' I hope you enjoy that as well as the StiCy fic I will be starting soon named 'Imprinting'. Hugs and Kisses!
