A/n: Here is Season 6.

Chapter 7: French Twist.

Dean sighed.

It had turned into hell of months after living a peaceful year. Well, the truth was it was never peaceful; there was this itch, the need to find some evil and kill it. But he stopped himself, he stopped because he had made a promise to Sam that after he jumped into that cage, Dean would go and live with Lisa and Ben.

He did.

He tried.

But then he came to know that while he had been playing a family man, living a happy pie life, his brother had been hunting and killing things without even notifying him that he was alive.

Sam was alive. Then Dean went with him, went to start that journey together again but the things didn't just end there.

He came to know that whatever saved Sam from the hell had left a piece behind; a piece without which his brother was a human with no feelings or conscience, like a robot.

He knew it was wrong to try to get the soul but he had to do it. He needed to do it, not because it was right thing to do or Sam would have wanted him to do that, but because he needed his brother back. Sam was the only family he had, the only permanent thing in his life. If this made him selfish, then Hell yeah he was.

It pained him as he watched Death trying to put the soul back and make a wall which won't let the bad memory come in front. It was the plan. Not let Sam scratch that wall.

And lie.

He watched as Death snapped the satchel closed and moved away from the cot."The soul is where it is supposed to be. He rests now."

Dean swallowed, relief filling him."T-thank you."

Death gave him a grave look."Remember what I told you, Dean. Keep digging." His eyes moved towards the cot. "Tell Sam not to."

Dean thought he would be gone but Death stayed and just walked outside the panic room. There was a difference in the way he stood. It was as if he was contemplating something, like he should do it or not.

"I wasn't sure about trusting you with this," Death said.

Dean was a little confused about what his words meant. He watched as Death pulled something out of the pocket of his black coat.

It was a flask.

A flask that had something inside it, something that was shining like a light.

Like a soul.

"Is that a soul?" Dean questioned before he could stop himself. Death remained silent.

"This is much more valuable than a mere soul." Death motioned for Dean to take it. Dean didn't move at first, he wasn't sure if he should take it but then he thought it might be something that would help them. He hesitatingly took the flask. "What is it?"

It felt warm; a strange feeling crept up his hand. Good but strange.

"I'm giving it to you because you are the only person who can do this without seeking some gain from it." Death continued ignoring Dean's queries. "When you hand it to its owner, tell her I can't help. I do feel bad about it."

"Her? Who?"

But Death was gone.

It was done. Sam had his soul back and Dean had something that he had no idea what it was. Dean observed the flask. It was shining. Like Sam's soul. But now when he looked closely he thought it was brighter and a little colored. He could see different shades, different colors at different angles.

He shook his head and put the flask in his pocket and called Cas who confirmed the soul transplant and then chewed his head off.

He was hard and cold towards him. Cas's words rang in his mind.

If you wanted to kill your brother, you should have done it outright.

Cas was gone and he waited for Sam to wake up.

"Dean! What is it?"

He just shook his head, trying to deflate Bobby's worry. He knew he was doing a bad job at that. Gulping down another shot, he sighed and turned towards the old Hunter.

"Dean he'll wake up."

"Yeah!" Dean didn't believe it. He didn't believe in anything right now. There were so many things, so many thoughts roaming inside his head and he didn't know what to do.

Was he making a mistake? Was this a better choice?

"He's been through how much and somehow he always bounces back," Bobby was trying his hard to assure him. It wasn't working.

"He's never been through this."

Dean smacked his lips and took another shot, moving his hand inside the jacket and pulled it out.

Bobby who had been relaxed few seconds ago was now sitting straighter in his seat, his eyes widened focused on the flask.

"What is that?"

Dean shook his head. He had no idea.

"I have no idea. Death gave it to me."

Booby's eyes were on him and it made him uncomfortable.

"I don't how you chucklehead got Death as your tea party girl," Bobby commented. It made him chuckle.

"You told Cas?" Dean shook his head again. "Why?"

"Cas… he's angry. I didn't want him to-"

"Dean, you and I we have no idea what that is. Maybe Castiel knows what that is?" Bobby said.

"I will." Dean looked at Bobby who was looking curiously at the flask. He extended his hand, motioning for Bobby to take it.

Bobby hesitated but moved forward to it. What happened next surprised both of them.

Bobby's hand passed through the flask as if it wasn't there.

"What?"

He tried again but it was like a ghost, Bobby couldn't touch it.

It intrigued Dean, his attention was now on flask. Something came to his mind and he tried to open it but realized he couldn't. It wouldn't open.

"What the hell is that thing?"

"Don't know."

Sam was awake and he didn't remember anything. So Dean lied about the last year and made it as if that never happened but he had never counted Cas into the account. Sam was able to dig truth out of Cas and learned about everything.

As much as he wanted to solve the mystery of flask, it went sideways when Sam and he started hunting again. He had to think of other important factor like Sam was remembering things and was getting tortured inside his head.

It was bad and he wished he could do something but there was nothing he could do.

He hated Balthazar like freaking wanted to murder him.

It was his fault they were here.

Trapped in this twilight zone where he was Jensen fucking Ackles and Sam was Polish.

Misha Collins.

Cas's name was Misha. Misha- was that even a real name.

Their life was a Tv show, a freaking show and he was going to be sick, they were mauling his baby like it was a piece of junk- which was but seriously. There were five different Impalas in worse conditions and he was going in shock.

In the cab, when the driver Clint, sorry Clif, asked him where to leave him, he said he would tag along with Jared and they went to the place his brother had in this universe which was in Vancouver.

They were not even in America.

It was a freaking mansion. And there was an Alpaca in the home and the room was decorated with massive repeating image of Sam's dorky face on one side and other side was with Ruby's. Fake Ruby because if this all wasn't bad enough, they came to know Sam married fake Ruby.

Brilliant.

They made arrangements to do the spell, bought all the ingredients they needed. All thanks to the big money.

After that Dean was all for the nap.

It was late and Sam waited for Genevieve, his wife to come home while Dean slept on the couch in the office. It was Gen, she told him. It was little confusing for him that he married the actress who played Ruby but he couldn't deny it.

He was attracted to her and if like in this universe she wasn't a back stabbing demon then he might have liked her. He tried to brush away Gen's advances but before he could do something more, the bell rang.

He was shocked to see who was there.

There she was. The last person he thought he would see in this universe.

"Where is he?"

She looked different- Classier and attractive than she was in his universe. Wearing skinny jeans and white coat and high heels, her long hair now were cut reaching just below her shoulders. He never thought he would think something like this for her.

She was a freaking angel.

An archangel.

"W-who?"

"Really?" She raised her eyebrows at him. "Where is he?"

Gen who was behind him looked a little surprised to see her here, but she knew who she was and Sam realized she wasn't Selaphiel here.

"Danneel."

"Gen, hey."

"He's upstairs."

Sera or Danneel marched up the stairs following Gen who was showing her the way. Sam marched after them wanting to know what the hell was going on.

He realized that they were talking about Dean.

Sera knew Dean and she looked pissed off about something.

This was going to turn into disaster.

Danneel took one look at Dean sleeping on the couch and went towards him smacking him in the back. One moment he thought she was going to stab Dean in the back with her heels but she retained herself. Dean who was sleeping soundly woke up disoriented.

"Sam you-"

Dean stopped when he saw who was standing in front of him. His wide eyes met his and Sam knew this wasn't going to end nice.

Holy Shit.

It was her.

She was alive.

And she was hot.

Dean was flabbergasted by the site in front of him. The fact that Selaphiel the archangel was standing in front of him didn't affect that much as it did the effects on seeing her.

Selaphiel in his universe had been an angel. She was the most irritating he thought he had ever seen but in looks you could say she was an angel, there was innocence, purity in her appearance. Long hair and shine on her face, her eyes commanded respect which he tried not to give her. She was mischievous and always smiling which infuriated him but he never felt attraction.

Okay maybe he did. She wasn't bad to look at but she always wore loose clothes, Dean always thought she was tomboyish, and if she had curves they wouldn't be more than … a mouthful or handful. Dark brown eyes, her mouth that he wanted to tape whenever she opened her mouth.

But this woman was a whole different story.

She was fit, it was one way to put it - tall, tan skin, freckles on her face made her look … cute. She was beautiful and she knew it and she showed it. There was a confidence in the way she stood, her stance while angry made her sexier.

"Where's your phone?" Fake Sera questioned him, her legs tapping in irritation.

"What?"

"Your phone?"

Dean shook his head trying to get the question and stop staring at her. He rummaged in his pockets, searched around couch and realized he didn't have it

"Yeah, right... my phone... I don't really know, where it is and I just came over here with..." Dean pleaded help from Sam with his eyes and Sam mouthed him silently his fake name. "Jared! To practice some acting... stuff. You know?"

Her piercing brown eyes drilled their gaze into his own green ones and for a moment his breath struck to his throat.

"Practice acting stuff? At the middle of the night? With Jared?" Fake Sera asked, not buying Dean's feeble excuses. Dean looked away, not wanting to continue watching her.

"Danneel." Sam said trying to come in between but Gen stomped on his feet and shook her head.

"Are you upset with me or something, Jensen?"

Dean's eyes shot up, and locked back to the gaze with her. But his time, Dean saw a twinge of something in her eyes. Something that could maybe be... hurt? Dean wasn't sure, since the still angry voice wasn't giving away anything, but still that small twinge in those chocolate brown eyes made the insides of Dean grow cold. It was freaky. Dean didn't like it.

"Upset? With you? No, no, of course not, why would I be?" Dean quickly dismissed it, waving his hand nonchalantly, attempting something like a casual smile.

"Well let's see, you don't answer my calls, you disappeared somewhere in the middle of the day when I specifically asked you to stay put, and I finally find you at Jared's place, in the middle of the night," Danneel said, annoyed, spreading out her arms.

"Y-you were looking for me, why?" Dean asked slowly looking at her and then glanced at Sam who looked equally confused.

"Really. I mean why would I come all the way to Vancouver, of course to meet Jared, right," It was sarcasm and he realized she was sassy too." Remember old me, dear."

"Of course I remember you, you are…" Dean delayed the answer. He had no idea what to say. He was caught.

"Oh my God! Have you guys been drinking," Dean shook his head."You know what I will play along this prank of yours. Hello I am Danneel Ackles, your fucking wife."

Sam choked, he did. Dean was looking at the fake archangel in disbelief. She was- he married, he could even think about that.

He married Selaphiel in this universe.

"Wife."

"Okay I am done with this J2 prank of you both. It's really getting to me. You haven't even changed your costumes."

This was wrong on so many levels.

"I'm really angry at you. I was going to surprise you, hey baby I am here but No! You act like an asshole," She sighed and moved closer to him. Dean moved back a little and she narrowed her eyes at him and then a smirk placed on her lips.

It was the smirk he was very familiar with. He had seen it before so many times.

She reached forward grabbing his shirt, her other hand moving towards the back of his head, her body touching his. It felt nice, really nice and it was troublesome.

"I wanted to surprise you," she whispered in his ear and Dean shivered. Her head moved back and she looked in his eyes. There was this twinkle in them, the shine of innocence and then she kissed him, straight on the lips. It was only a peck, lasted no more than a second, but it had rooted Dean on his spot.

His heart stopped for a moment, Dean was frozen in shock. He couldn't do anything.

Her lips were soft, softer than anything he had ever felt before. It was electric, like heat from her lips was passing on to him. He suppressed a groan.

Help me God.

Oh hell no…

"Danneel!"

She broke away on hearing Sam who was looking at them with wide eyes. His brother was trying to help him out here.

"Jared." She asked in confusion. Sam cleared his throat.

"I didn't know you were coming?" Sam said laughing awkwardly. Danneel just rolled her eyes and gave him a look.

"Yes Sam, it was a surprise like I said that."

Fake Ruby cleared her throat. "It's late. We should get to bed. Danneel you are welcome to stay -"

"No I think we would-"

"We should stay here. I have an early shoot, I can leave with Jared." Dean cut her off.

Fake Ruby narrowed her eyes at him but they softened when she looked at his wife. "Jensen's right. You can take the guest room don't worry."

Danneel looked at Dean who was looking at Sam with panic written on his face. She frowned and then nodded.

"Thanks Gen."

Dean watched as both women went upstairs leaving brother downstairs.

"Holy shit!"

It was also his sentiment.

"You married Selaphiel. Dean you married an archangel." Sam said in disbelief. It sounded ridiculous but here it was true.

"I'm in trouble." Sam hummed and nodded. "I mean did you see that…. She just… Ugh!"

"Dean, are you attracted to Sera… I never thought-"

"Sammy! No, just No! She's a freaking Archangel."

He moved away not wanting to think for a second. He watched as Fake Ruby came downstairs and told him that the guest room was set. He was reluctant to go up there, he was making a plan to convince others someway he could sleep here in the office not in a room with her, his wife.

But Gen was giving him the look, the look that said move your ass out of here. She extended her hand to Sam who smiled and took it and was dragged by the Ruby upstairs.

Dean counted to hundred, he didn't want to go up there but he knew she would come to get him if he didn't. He climbed the stairs taking the steps carefully and gulping trying to dissolve the nervousness.

The room was empty when he entered and he could hear the shower on. He sighed and realized it was golden chance. He could pretend to sleep and don't make the situation more awkward than it already was. He untied his shoes and was just about to hop on the bed when the bathroom door opened and there she was.

God must really hate him.

He was thankful that she wasn't naked but what she was wearing wasn't good enough. She was wearing shorts and had a big t-shirt on, like it was a male and he realized it was his. Her hair was tied in bun, and she pulled the rubber off and let her hair down now.

Her eyes met his and she gave him a seducing smile. It was seducing, he was sure it was.

She moved towards him, in a slow sexy manner. The smirk on her face made him feel like she was a predator and he was the food.

"Look at you, you're all tense," she said in a teasing tone, her hand reaching out to rub Dean's shoulder. It felt nice, kind of good.

"I'm tired you know," Dean mumbled, trying not to lean into the touch.

"Tired, Huh!" She raised her eyebrows in disbelief as if she knew he was kidding.

Dean chuckled nervously. He closed his eyes and gulped hard trying hard, gathering all his strength to stop her. Then he felt it, a pair of thin, soft lips ghost over his neck, kissing him softly. Slender fingers reaching for his hair, curling in it and a shiver ran though him when the nails scratched the back of his neck. She smiled as a small moan of pleasure escaped his mouth.

Dean hated to admit but it felt good. It did and that meant this was bad. Really bad.

He shifted slightly and cleared his throat, backing away a little. He was met with a frowning face, a confused look on her face.

"Umm… I have an early shoot and I … have to report… " Dean tried to make an excuse.

"You know what screw you…."

Suddenly he was grabbed by his t-shirt and lips smashed on his mouth. But this time it was all but over quickly. Danneel moved her lips softly against Deans, sliding her hands into his hairs again, yanking them a little hard and he hissed in pain that was too sweet. He stood still, not really knowing what to do. He should push her away but that thought left his mind when he felt the commanding tongue roll over his bottom lips not asking permission but fighting to get inside.

He knew the moment his defense broke.

Dean hands wrapped around the waist, opening his mouth letting in the talented tongue whose taste struck him hard. Dean had in past made out with a certain number of women and all of them had their won taste, normally it was always some sort of lipstick or lip gloss, like strawberry or cheer but this was different. She tasted like best thing he ever had in his life, like a freshly baked apple pie. Sparks, electricity – he hummed trying to taste every inch of her mouth. And without any thought he spun them around, nipping on her bottom lips. His hands slid upwards, feeling it shudder beneath his touch, pressing them closer. He hadn't realized that they had fallen on the bed till her legs wrapped around his hips.

Suddenly the kiss changed.

She spun him around and he was on the back now. The slow and gentleness was all gone, it was fierce and all about need. Her legs were surrounding his waist and he could feel the heat, the lust. He took a firm hold of her lower back, pulling her flat against him. He could feel the burning in his lungs, the need for oxygen but he wasn't ready to let go. As if she knew, her lips left his mouth and trailed towards his neck.

"You know, you're right. I am tired."

And then she was gone from above him, falling on his other side and pushing him off the bed. She slid inside the quilt and turned her back on him.

Dean felt like someone had poured cold water on him. What the hell he was doing?

This was Selaphiel, the archangel. This wasn't his wife, his lover; she was Jensen Ackles's wife, the woman who was unattainable in his universe.

This time he wasted no more time on trying to think of any excuse, he ran from the room without a backward glance and didn't stop till he reached the office.

Dean was freaking not because he enjoyed it, he was a man he was suppose to enjoy that. NO, he was dreading this experience because he wanted that more and he closed his eyes trying not to think about any angel, hell this time he was okay with dreams of Devil himself.

"That was…..awful," Sam slowly, voice lacking all emotions. Dean just groaned again.

When Sam and Dean went back to examine the fake-window, everyone came up and demeaned for them to their job, job of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padleacki. They never thought it could be so much difficult to act but they ran as fast as they could when the break bell rang.

"I know. We need to lay low and do the spell. I am not doing this freaking thing again," Dean exclaimed.

Misha Collins was dead.

After talking with the eye witness they came to know it was Virgil who killed the fake Cas, and he was trying to communicate with Raphael but since there wasn't any magic here, so he wasn't able to. Dean was a little worried now, they needed to get back as soon as they could. If Raphael got the key, he would be able to start the whole thing again – Apocalypse.

"Oh Thank God!"

Before he could see anything, he was engulfed in soft arms and he breathed in the lavender scent and he knew it was her.

Danneel moved back a little keeping her hands on his shoulder, surveying him from up and down trying to find if he was hurt or not. Dean cleared his throat. "I'm fine."

His words resulted with her smacking his arm. Dean winced, rubbing his arm. "I can see that. Why the bloody hell you didn't call me? I was worried sick."

Dean grimaced realizing he should have told her about it. "I am sorry. I forgot after hearing Misha-"

"It's horrible." She replied taking his hands in hers."I knew you wouldn't be with Misha but I was just-"

"Hey, its fine. I'm okay," Dean shushed her and without any thought pulled her in his arms. It was nice.

"If you ever die on me Jensen, I will bring you back and then kill you with my own hands." She threatened and Dean chuckled thinking how cute she looked threatening him.

Then he shook his head. Cute, No.

"So you will raise me back, someone's getting ideas from Supernatural." Dean joked, trying to better her mood.

"Oh, if you are Dean Winchester then I am …." She stopped, her eyebrows quirked in concentration, trying to think.

"A Demon." Dean suggested.

"Oh Please! As if Dean could ever fall for a demon. I will be a kickass hunter or maybe an angel. Dean did sleep with Anna, right." Danneel poked her tongue at him. Dean laughed controlling himself not to kiss her.

"What about an archangel?" Dean asked hesitatingly.

"Sweetheart, An archangel is way above Dean Winchester's pay grade." Her smartass answer reminded him of Seraphiel and Dean was trying very hard to think of them as different person. It would be easier for him, because he would soon leave.

And there won't be any Danneel or Seraphiel in his world.

"Really, do you really think that?" Dean questioned. He knew it was the truth but it hurt him. It disturbed him because Dean wasn't always the one to be concerned.

Danneel looked in his eyes, gazing at him with emotions that no one had ever felt for him.

Love.

"It doesn't matter who I am," She cupped his face in her hands."An archangel, human, hell demon, I would always be in love with you. Always," She leaned forward and kissed his lips. This time he didn't stop her. It was a small and sweet kiss.

"This universe or that TV universe. I am not going to leave you alone."

Dean sighed. She was his dream. He had never met someone like her and he wanted her. It was the biggest mistake what he was going to do but he couldn't stop himself.

He moved forward and kissed her. He felt her smile and she deepened it.

"Bloody hell woman."

"Dean."

Dean looked behind her finding Sam standing uncomfortably and giving him looks that said. 'Yeah right. No feelings jerk.'

Dean realized it was time, time to say goodbye.
