SETH's POV

Someone great did, truly say 'Expect the Unexpected'. Going with the flow had always been my motto. When everyone was not so accepting of the transformation, I was.

Even with everything that happened in my life, I kept a smiling face… for I was always taught whatever happens, happens for a reason.

But right now, I am unable to comprehend exactly what reason could be there for an Alpha Wolf to imprint on a child especially when he Already had a mate? It's beyond me to understand, we were always taught Wolves mate for life than how come is it possible he imprinted in his lifetime with her being very much alive. How is it possible that he imprinted when he claimed and did mate with my sister?

Suddenly an image of my frowning face enters my head and startles me to the very core.

I stand up abruptly from my previously sitting position my eyes boring into those seemingly innocent chocolate colored pools.

Her powers always intrigued me, it's something so innocent yet so powerful. No one can really think of the depths of the power that the young hybrid carries… It's so innocent yet is equally sinister if not more.

She can make you see things, things that you could never think of. All she needs is just a touch and you are goner.

"Would you like to play with me, Seth?" Little Nessie asked, her voice innocent but not childlike. Sometimes it scares me how this child is growing, She's too mature for her own good.

"What would you like to play?"

"Truth n Dare!"

"Aren't you too young for that?"

"I may look young but I have mental ability of that of a Teenager like you…. I think I can handle it! So what Do you say….. Truth Or Dare? "

To say I was stunned would be understatement of the year.

"Seth…Seth….. Earth to Seth!" she waves her hand in front of me, and I recover myself.

"Um…mmm , What were you saying again Nessie?"

"I asked you What will you Take ….. Truth Or Dare?"

"Ummm….. Truth I guess…."

"Well then….. Tell me If you were not a Wolf What you would be?"

I stared at he, how strange of her to ask me this.

"Human"

"Huh?"

"I'll be a normal Human worrying about my grades and dates…. "

"Well that's boring!" She said as she looked at me hopefully…. If She's waiting for some other answer then She's going to be disappointed for that's the only answer I have!

After a bit of wait, she continues again…. "Well you are no fun Sethy! My Jacob is so much more fun but anyways you'll have to suffice for now….. And I choose Dare!"

"Umm…. I dare you to…. mmm …., I dare you to catch a squirrel in Twenty seconds! "

She's gives me a look, a look that says it was dumb dare, But what do you expect me to dare a 3 months old child who by the way doesn't look or act as a 3 month old should…. But still!

I barely gather the shriek that nearly escaped me as Nessie puts in my face….. a squirrel… A Goddamn SQUIRREL!

I looked at her, shock marring my features.

"It was a real easy one…." Saying that she moves the Squirrel near her mouth, as if to make a Snack out of poor creature.

"Not for a normal human….." I mutter lowly….. as I see the poor squirrel squirm in her hold.

"Let the poor creature go Nessie!" I say a bit frustrated of her actions.

She pouts but lets the squirrel leave….. The little Devil of squirrel jumped on me before leaving! Damn that Squirrel!

"So, what will you take Seth…. Truth or Dare?"

I am quite skeptical yet I choose dare….. And she dares me…. And the game continues for some time until it's her turn and she chooses Truth!

"What will you do if Jacob leaves you?"

Her playful eyes turn murderous ….. Her nature of being Predator is on Full display as she snarls her answer to me….. "My Jacob will never leave me, I'll never let that happen."

"It was just a question, no need to be offended ….. Everyone knows he's not going to leave you after all, you are his Imprint!" No matter how much I hated the fact but I knew very well it was true….

She looked at me, a bit of Unsure and with a hint of fear as she asked me…. "Can imprint conquer everything?"

"Why are you asking?"

"Just wanted to know…"

"But Why?"

"Can you just answer the question!" Her voice was laced with frustration.

"Sure, Sure! …. To be frank I don't know myself but what I do know from seeing others is it's quite powerful…. Imprintee sure holds a power over the wolves. But that you must know after all you are one yourself." My words had a reaction that I least expected…. Shock n Fear! Now that's something I'll never expect!

"What if the Wolf loves someone before imprinting?"

Her question may have been an innocent one, the answer to it was a painful reality…. Something, that I'll never wish upon anyone.

"It doesn't matter!"

"What do you mean it doesn't matter? What if it's too strong?"

"Imprinting is even stronger…. It doesn't matter how strongly a Wolf previously felt for the girl, his imprint is above all."

As if she suddenly lost interest, she gets up with a strange emotion flooding her eyes…. "I don't want to play anymore!" and with that she's gone!

Well that was strange!
