Hey guys, I'm back. Please don't hurt for being gone for this long! I was distracted by a few things which was my favorite idol group visiting the area I lived, thus reigniting my love for that idol group leading to me writing fanfics about its members.
I know there's no excuse for being gone this long so first things first, but before I state some reasons, here are a few things that's going to change. After realizing the pace I uploaded my stories before, I decided to change things up a bit. Like, I will not update all the stories at once and will only focus on one and at the most two multi-chapter fic at a time and publish OS. This way I can actually finish the stories I put. If I do happen to post a brand new story, that story would be put the bottom of the list and I continue to update the story I've decided to focus on. For now, since "The Love that Began By the Sea" is only a couple of chapters from being complete I will finish that first. I hope you understand and I hope all of my loyal readers don't pelt me with rotten tomatoes.
Anyways, you guys can skip this if you don't really care.
So, my reasons for not posting are 1.) school, 2.) work, 3.) college preparation, and 4.) I've been writing fanfics on different sites. Okay, I know what you guys are thinking, it's summer, why am I worried about school. Well, it's because I'm taking a few extra classes to make my gpa way higher than it already is and summer homework by ap classes, so yeah, even during break, I have no break. Second thing, you guys may not know this, but I actually have a job, which is what I'm doing now, writing. I write poems and short stories to be published in magazines, though it still has to be chosen from other people who did the same thing as me, and occasionally enter writing competitions which makes me write a story that's about 30-50,000 words. That kind of explains where most of my time went. Third reason, I need to start preparing college applications, SATs, essays, and a bunch other stuff to get to the school of my dreams to pursue the career I want. Lastly, something I used to like caught my once again and this time, my love for it grew stronger and I wrote this OS of my favorite people involved in it and people kept asking me to continue, which I did no ended up writing stories for that and began to forget about my stories here, and I deeply apologize for all of this. I know I still may not forgiven after stating all my reasons, but I hope you all understand.
Please enjoy this disappointing and pretty short update, I will post something other than this soon, I promise!
"Can I?" Kotori asks me before she does anything, looking deeply into my eyes, lovingly yet lustfully.
"I-" once again the phone rings, only this time since we weren't doing anything, we heard it. Kotori then begins blushing at what she's about to do.
"U-um, maybe you should answer your phone..." Kotori pulled her hand away and moved her body off of mine. She was facing the other way, but I could completely seeing her blushing face.
"Okay, I'll be right back." I fixed my clothes and answered the phone as I left the room. "Hello?"
"Honoka, what time are you coming home today? Your father and I have to go somewhere tonight and Yukiho wants to know if you're going to stay home or stay over at someone's house." My mother called to inform me.
"Oh, sorry mom. I'm at Kotori-chan's house and I guess I'll stay over at her house tonight."
"Okay then, I'll tell Yukiho, goodbye." My mom hung up and she sighed, thank god that nothing happened thanks to the call. Although, I admit the attention and affection Kotori gave me was kind of nice.
I went back into the room to find Kotori on her bed, hiding herself behind a pillow.
"Kotori-chan?" I called to her, confused at what her friend's doing.
"I can't believe it." Kotori mumbled through the pillow, barely audible and under stable, but somehow I understood.
"What do you mean?" Kotori lowered the pillow to show her face and said.
"I can't believe I had the courage to do and say those things to you..." Kotori made a cute face as she spoke and I immediately thought, C-cute...
"Um..." I looked away embarrassed, which caught Kotori's attention. "Do you mind if I stay here tonight?"
Kotori's heart beat faster and louder from my few simple words, her face also turned a deeper shade of red.
"S-sure..."Upon hearing her words, I took a seat on the bed and Kotori moved the pillow from her body and sat beside me. I began to blush and look away from Kotori who is still looking at me. After a few seconds, I could feel her hand on top of mine and I look at her, her face is calm, but nervous at the same time. All I could do was look back at her.
Third POV
Eri arrives in front of Honoka's house. Alright Eri, you can do this. Just apologize for behaving so childishly, Eri thought to herself. She was about to enter, until she heard a voice interrupt her.
"What are you doing here?" Eri turns to see Umi with an annoyed look on her face, seeing who it was, Eri also began to feel annoyed.
"I should ask you the same thing."
"I don't have to tell you anything." Ugh, why the heck is she here? How can I apologize to Honoka now, with this one here, Umi thought.
"Then that means you have no reason to be here."
"You can't tell me where I can and can't be, I have more reason to be here than you do."
"No you don't."
"Yes I do, Honoka always invites me to sleep over at her house at least once a week. I don't remember her ever inviting you to stay at her house."
"I'm pretty sure that Honoka didn't invite you for a sleep over, considering the way you've been acting. Besides, it didn't look like she was to happy with you earlier."
"The same goes for you." A stare down and a deafening silence began between the two and it seemed like nothing could stop it, until the door opened.
"Oh my, Umi, Eri, what are the two of you doing here?" Honoka's mother came outside with Honoka's dad and Yukiho.
"Are you here to see Onee-chan?" Yukiho asked the two, who seemed tense with the other, but disregarded it for now.
"Oh, um yes. Is she here right now?" Umi asked ahead of Eri, who gave her a slightly irritated look, which only Yukiho noticed. Yukiho thought, Wow, something must be going on between the group, don't tell me it has something to do with Onee-chan.Yukiho suddenly felt worried for her sister.
"Oh, didn't Honoka tell you? She isn't here, she's sleeping over at someone else's house." Honoka's mom answered.
"What?! Where is she?" The two said simultaneously.
"She told me she was at Kotori's house." The two instantly felt a shiver down their spine, as if signaling to them that something was happening or going to happen.
To be continued
Hey guys, I hoped you all enjoyed that and I'm sorry that it's so short, considering how long it's been since I've updated anything. I'm really sorry for being gone for so long and I promise to update things at least once a week or month, depending on my schedule. Sorry for my long hiatus, tell me what you think of this chapter and how angry you are with me for my long hiatus, and I hope you can look forward to my future updates.
P.S, there will be a new story to be posted after this which is what you guys asked me for a long time ago and that is the sequel to The Love That Began By the Sea. So before I can post that, I have to finish the last few chapters of that story which I will begin working on soon. So, there's a few things to look forward to.
Thanks for reading and BYE BYE!:D
