Chibi: College made me more busy than I expected! But with the snowy weather and school cancelled for today, I decided to finally use my free time to write out the next chapter of Oddity!

For that one reviewer who asked about the timing of updates and whatnot, I'm not exactly sure if it'll be perfectly timed. I'd like to update at least once or twice a month, but with my schedule the way it is that might not be possible. Updates could come at random, honestly.

That being said, I'm not giving up on this story! I'll finish it, I swear~!

Now-

On With The Show~!

...

I must be tripping balls or some shit because...

What the fuck is this place?

Everything looks like Wonderland! SERIOUSLY. It's twisted and odd colors everywhere! If I had eaten anything before coming here- A memory of blood flooded back and I slammed my hand on my stomach, expecting pain but mildly surpised to look down and just see my school uniform. But I was just at work right? I should be in a tank top and jeans with guns, not the sailor uniform for middle school.

"I see you've become somewhat aware about your situation." I looked over my shoulder at a kimono clad woman, her white hair decorated in blood colored spider lilies much like the fabric of her dress. "That's good. The shock made you momentarily forget. We can work now on getting those memories of yours working right, and along the way I can explain things a bit more properly than before."

Her pale pink eyes stared into me when I didn't reply to her. "Is something wrong?"

"Who the fuck are you and where the fuck am I? What the fuck is going on?"

"Well, obviously you're in your own fucking mind!" I flinched back when she cussed suddenly, shocked as the tiny woman charged forward and grabbed one of my pigtails. "Listen to me you odd child! You went and got yourself stabbed by King Enma's Shadow Sword! If we don't get you up and running again, you'll awaken to your demon blood at THE WRONG FUCKING TIME. I'm not giving you my power and knowledge while you're like this!"

"That answered two of the three questions- WILL YOU LET GO OF MY FUCKING HAIR? WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU-" She dropped me flat on my ass and huffed, crossing her arms. Hey, that's the exact same nose scrunching thing I do when I'm annoyed.

She actually looks a lot like me...

"I assume you've figured it out now?"

"You're my mind's inner eye?" Hands got thrown up and she looked ready to grab my pigtails again. "I'm guessing... no then?"

"I'm Setsuna! YOUR ANCESTOR."

"That was my second guess."

"Why must you guess? WHY?"

"Wow. We really are related. So you're like my grandma or something?" I crossed my legs Indian style as she sank to her knees in front of me. "I mean... that's kinda cool. Does that mean you know what my mom was like? Cause I don't remember jack shit about her."

Pink eyes glared at me before softening. "Yes. I knew Sakura quite well. She was certainly more spiritually aware than you. But we can talk about that mother of yours when you aren't in danger of dying."

"I'm dying?" I blinked.

"Yes."

"Is that why everything in here looks so weird-"

"ENMA HELP ME-"

...

My head hurts. Like... it really hurts.

Setsuna hits harder than I thought. We walked along, me nursing my aching cranium carefully as she huffed in annoyance.

"We'll get your memories working again."

"But I remember everything. Seriously, it's kind of weird how well my memory works-"

Setsuna twirled around (a little too gracefully DAMN) and glared at me while I cowered. "Do you remember being stabbed? The people who did it? What you were doing beforehand perhaps?"

I opened my mouth to say yes but drew a blank. What had I been doing before the supposed stabbing? Where was my body now? I closed my mouth and stared at the ground, digging through every archive in my head to try and recall what happened- And then suddenly the entire land changed. Instead of twists and turns, bookshelves replaced everything in neat complacent order, tabs sticking out with numbers all underneath 14. Setsuna gave a pleased smile as she reached out and grabbed a book from the 7 section, flipping through it.

"Wonderful. You really do have an organized mind somewhere in this thing you call a brain."

"What the fuc-"

"These are all your memories. Every single one of them from the time you were born until the moment someone tried ending your life. You've filed them all well. I haven't seen this manner of organization since my last visit in Spirit World."

I gaped at the tall shelves. "I did all this?"

"Yes. Wonderful job dear. Now let's got find your misplaced memories and get you back to working order before that sword does what it was created for."

...( LET'S CHECK ON THE BLACK CHRISTMAS TREEEEEE )...

"Her entire mind's a mess. The girl's still alive, but barely. I can't make sense of what's in there anyway. It's like being drunk on troll liquor." Hiei scoffed as he retied his headpiece. Kurama looked fairly disturbed while Yusuke scratched at his head, staring down at the bloody body of one Mimio Ginryuu. She'd twitch every so often; that's the only sign of life they'd gotten out of her since Hiei had grabbed her from the office of a now very dead business man. Whoever else was in there had escaped, and covered their tracks so well not even the demons could follow.

"Why would they attack Ginryuu? I mean aside from being a sarcastic jack ass, she's still just a human girl. Demons don't just attack humans like that for no reason-" Kurama and Hiei gave Yusuke looks of 'duh' as the black haired boy tried to make sense of it. Kuwabara stepped back inside carrying a bunch of medical supplies, his face turning a pleasant shade of green as he saw the amount of blood staining his bed. Kurama grabbed the medical supplies from him and walked over to Mimio's supine form, pulling away the tatters of her shirt from the wound so he could clean it.

"Oh my."

"What?"

"This wound wasn't made by a normal human weapon. I'd recognize the pattern of tearing from anywhere." Yusuke looked even more confused.

"Why is that?"

"Because Hiei inflicted the same type of wound on me with the exact same weapon."

The fire apparition began to slowly inch his way out of the room.

...

"So you're some demon from way back when?" Mimio asked as she flipped through the memories of her first year of life, which weren't much. that book was the equation of a photo album, the only thing inside pictures of faces that she had seen. The brunette girl has stopped on the page with a brunette woman with green eyes, the look on the woman's face serene and happy. The title read 'Sakura Ginryuu' and a few stray drops of tears landed on one picture as Mimio leaned over it.

"Your mother was a strong woman. I was so sorry when she died..."

"Dad always said that cancer got to her..." Setsuna's scoff had gray eyes tilting upward in curiousity. "What?"

"Your mother didn't die of a human diesease. With my blood in your family's veins, you're not able to catching mere human dieseases like those cancers. You're more physically capable and far more competent. Something like in one of those comic books you read... a super solider perhaps?" Setsuna grabbed another record as her descendant gaped at her.

"Mom didn't die of cancer?"

"No. My assumption is that those demon assassins that were after your life took your mothers without being aware of your existence. You were barely a year old when I felt her presence leave the human world." Pink eyes flitted to her. "It's nothing to be ashamed of, growing up without a parent. Or losing one so early in your lifespan. I've watched my descendants lives through their own eyes as generations have passed. Your mother was a very happy child, and an even happier adult, especially after marrying that odd man you call father. Having you made her life perfect... and then I began to watch the world through your eyes. I saw your father grieve while you went along without the slightest clue that she was gone until you turned three. Everything after that was either painful or highly amusing. You're an odd descendant of mine, that's for sure."

Mimio just scratched at the back of her head. "Ah."

"I thought you'd be upset."

"There's no use in getting angry over something that's already occured."

"Very odd. But in any case, I've found your memories dear." The file smacked the brunette girl as the white haired woman leaned against the shelf. "Read over the last page and things should come back."

Mimio opened the file, grumbling, and began to read silently.

...

"I thought the Shadow Sword was locked up!"

"Indeed. But it appears someone pulled it from its vault and then put it back. That's the only sword that could do damage like that!" Botan insisted as she clapped her hands to her cheeks. "Koenma won't be happy about this at all..."

A gasping scream emitted from behind the group as Mimio's body suddenly jerked upwards, hands clawing at the bandages on her stomach in panic as Kurama and Kuwabara rushed forward to restrain her.

.(POV CHANGE).

The pain.

Oh Jashin, the pain.

I grasped at my stomach and then had to fight off a bunch of blurry figures as they grabbed at me. Those assassins carted me off! I was gonna die!

Oh God I was gonna die-

"Mimio!"

Yusuke?

I struggled less as my vision came back into focus, revealing the blurs to be Rapunzel and Kuwabara. Yusuke stood at the end of the bed, staring down at me hardcore as I pulled my hands away from what felt like bandages. It took a few deep breaths for me to calm down and realize that whatever danger I thought I was in was obviously not real. Hands grasping at Kuwabara's sleeve as I sat up, I asked raspily. "What-"

"You were attacked, and very nearly died."

My gaze swivelled to Rapunzel and I vaguely remembered Setsuna saying something about him and danger. Setsuna said that all of these people, save Kuwabara, were very possibly a danger to me. Great.. more people who can kill me.

I grinned suddenly, trying to fight off another wave of panic.

"Did anyone grab my Gameboy?"
