A giant shadow wolf stood before her as she was stuck in it's shadow. A blue light shimmered before her, taking form and attacking the shadow wolf. Haru thought it took the form of Baron, but no longer sure as the memory has become hazy.

What was it? That blue light, is that the way… to defeat Fran? Avenge Selim?

Another Howl broke through her concentration and she was brought back to her now harsh reality. She felt comfort being close to Baron, but fear shook her to the core as she stared at the large wolf before her.

Fran tilted her head to stare at the red sky, the black sun above, "How the stories I read...did not compare to the actually feeling of this," Her eyes flickered back to group, tiny specks in the distance. It would take only a few steps to reach them.

"Hmmm, though...I would like to end this quickly, but I think I should...get rid of all the witnesses. If I did end the world know, you'll die anyway, but where's the fun seeing my pawns die that quickly?" Fran bared her teeth at them.

Baron stood in front of Haru, his cane out, even though he knew it wouldn't do much against a giant wolf, it's his only weapon.

Her steps shook the earth beneath her paws. The air chilled all around them, their breathes seemed to turn into fog. Fran chuckled, loving the fear in their faces, knowing they had nowhere to go. She stomped her right foot, the ground rumbled and the group fell to the ground.

"How fun, my own little playthings,"

Lune grimaced, "Is there really no hope?"

"There is always hope...in some form," Jericho answered, "I'll...i'll see if I can distract her..," Jericho hunched down, ready to run, but arms wrapped around his torso. His eyes widen to see it was Haru grabbing him, "Ha-Haru?"

"Don't! We're just dolls in her grasp! And...and….a-and I don't want to see another of my friends die," Tears fell from her eyes and unto his fur, a sorrowful look on his face as he felt the sadness emit from her. To him, he never thought that someone would actually care about him that much. Even seeing Haru sad, he wanted to protect his friends even more.

"Haru, I thank you for the kindness you've shown me, it's been quite the adventure since becoming your friend, ….and this, I must do. For me. For you…. For the future,"

From warm fur to a sticky darkness, Haru gave a small gasp as Jericho used his shadows powers and disappeared from her grasp. He appeared a few feet in front of them, gave them one last look, not of sadness or fear, but of happiness.

He glared at Fran, who only had a look that wondered what a former experiment can do to her. Jericho howled at the black sun before launching himself at the towering wolf. Fran was bemused, thinking of his meager attempt of attacking her. He dipped and dodged around her feet, sinking into the shadows faster than one can blink.

Fran thought it was amusing at first, like a fly trying to bother a frog, but it has become a bit tiresome. Though for her, it wasn't too hard to figure out where he was going to appear, by his smell and he only stuck around the area by her feet. With a swift moment, her left hind leg stomped down on the ground and there was a yelp.

Fran ducked her head down, frowning. That's funny, she thought, by my calculations, he should be dead,...how..

Jericho was able to pull his injured tail from under the large paw. The sensation of pain went up his spine, If i actually live through this, I guess my tail gotta go.. Jericho did a roll as Fran stomped her hind legs at him.

"How hard is it to crush one bug?" Fran growled, twisting around to get a better look at Jericho.

"Well, Fran clearly has all her attention on Jericho now...but, what can we do?" Lune inquired, eyeing Baron, who was clearly in thought.

"Well, it's clear we can't run nor hide," Baron stated, watching the odd battle in front of them. All three of them tried to keep their balance with the earth shaking underneath them. Haru watched with wide eyes at the fight, somehow, but barely, Jericho was just missing Frans attacks.

Her mind kept switching to the battle, to the dream she down in the strange prison at the wolf clan. She remembered being told the strange potion would help down there. It hasn't been long, but..

"Baron?"

"Yes, Haru?" Baron answered, tilting his head towards her. Haru looked up at him, meeting his gaze.

"Are you able to sense like, if someone has magic in them or something special like that sort?"

Baron blinked at her, surprised at her question, "To some..extent,"

"Can you see if….if I.."

There was a pain filled screech interrupted their conversation. There heads turned back to the battle. Lune gasped in horror at the sight and Haru was just silent. Half of Jericho's body has been crushed under Frans paws, he writhed in pain and tried to wiggle himself to no avail.

"Jericho!" Baron yelled out.

"Here I thought, let's have some fun," Fran mumbled, a slight growl in here voice, "but you drive my patience thin," Her eyes turned a brighter yellow, "I guess, I should end my fun now,"

It seemed like everything started to slow down as Fran lowered her head down, her mouth opening to take a bite out of the wounded wolf. Harus legs started to take shakey steps forward, wanting to help her new friend. A hand touched her back, giving her a gentle yet urgent push forward. Haru turned her head, to see Baron gave her a push. His mouth moved, words slowly spilling out.

"Go Haru. I'm not sure what or how, but there is some sort of magic inside you,"

Haru turned her head back to stare forward, catching a glance of Lune giving her a nod of encouragement. She broke into a run, trying to close the distance between her and her wounded friend. Time seemed to catch up to her when Fran was close to Jericho, who closed his eyes.

"NO!" Haru yelled, feeling a strange sensation inside her.

We can do this, Haru!

A familiar voice rang out, one she thought gone, but newer hope filled her with her friends at her side. A blue light shone from within her heart and shot out, taking form of a familiar white voice. He grinned at her.

We can finish this! And with everyone's help as well!

"Everyone?"

All those who died by Frans paw or those affected

Haru gave a nod of understanding. With Selim at her side, the two made their way to Fran. Selim started to glow a brighter blue and Haru can see other forms all just mumbled inside his somewhat transparent body.

Fran almost got to Jericho when a bright blue light from behind her got her attention, "Oh, what now?" She growled turning to see what's going on, her eyes going wide in shock.

"Haru, Selim," Jericho whispered.

"Those meddling beings!" Fran turned to face the two coming at her, "I thought to be nice to you when we first met, though it was mostly funny on my part, even decided to let you live a little longer, but you all drive me crazy!"

She broke into a run, reading to finish what she started.

"Fun?! You've experimented on poor creatures, brainwashed them! You want to start Ragnarok, for god's sake! We drive you crazy? You are a vile creature!" Haru yelled at Fran, determination filling her, "With friends, love and hope, we'll make sure you fail!"

Haru. For you. For the world! We are on your side!

Selim was able to bite Haru's shirt, bringing her to halt while he continued on, "Selim?!"

Selim turned into a bright blue glowing ball and shot towards Fran.

Fran, in turn, gave a short jump, mouth wide and chomped down on the glowing ball, swallowing it. Fran came to a halt, licking her lips, "Huh, here I was, worried for nothing,"

Glowing yellow eyes meet brown eyes.

"Hmm, that anti-climatic as well. Looks like your little plan failed, not sure where you was going with it, buuut let's finish this," Fran looked gleefully ay Haru, taking steps towards her. Haru stood her ground, hoping, searching for something.

"Haru! We're right beside you!"

Baron and Lune showed up beside her, braced for a one-sided battle. Fran chuckled, about to make her attack but stopped. A look of confusion on her face. There was a odd sensation filling her, her body glowing blue.

"No..It couldn't be…" Fran crouched down, "Stop it! I said stop it!" She howled towards the ground. The three down below didn't know what was going on, but Haru had a hunch. Fran eyes burst into a blue flame, blinding her.

"This can't be, no one...no one knew how beat to Fenrir! Why. why. Why. why. Why. why. Why. why. Why. why!" Fran succumbed to her own madness, "Who told you!" Fran roared. Her body crumpled to the ground, wriggling madly as she tried to get ahold of something. Something not there. Her body slowly turned to ash, but she tried to do something, "Maybe this time. Maybe this time. But this is not the end of Fran, by old powers, Fenrir will just go back to sleeeeeeep," Her voice turned to harsh whisper as she disappeared, like ash in the wind. A lone figure stood were she was. He turned to face the three.

See ya soon, Haru!

With that, he disappear and the shadow world started to crack. What was darkness, turned to light. With a blinding flash, they found themselves in the main hall of the Cat's Castle. To Haru's left, was a wounded Jericho, to her right was the fallen Alfonso and his brother Gotzon, who stared at them with surprise and in front of her, her friend she met since the beginning of her adventure with the wolves, started to stand up and shake his head.

"Where am I?" He mumbled, blinking wearily into the light. Arms tightened around his neck, Selim gave a small yelp of surprise, feeling a familiar face in his fur, "Haru? What happened? Weren't we going to fight Alfonso?"

Haru broke apart, staring at Selim. Had he forgotten all that happened?

"Haru! You and everyone is alright! And...Selim...I thought you were dead," Gotzon gasped. Selim tilted his head.

"Dead? Why would I dead? I've sleeping… must had a nightmare or something," Selim turned back to Haru, noticing tears at the corners of her eyes, "what's wrong, Haru?"

Haru smiled at him, "nothing. Nothing at all,"

Baron had went to check up on Jericho, while Lune cautiously walked up to Alfonso, "is he…,"

"Dead? Yes," Gotzon spoke up, "it ended...far too quick,"

"I see….the war is over now," Lune walked over to the nearest window, the sky no longer dark and is bright, "This is very life changing event...for all of us,"

"Indeed," Gotzon replied, standing besides The Cat King, "I'll be going back to lead the wolf clan...find the old Dog King and return him back to his position of power...and maybe...we'll fix this mess up,"

"Agreed...though, despite this war...maybe, the wolf clan can be on good terms with the Cat Kingdom...Haru has made good friends..and I've met that cat/wolf couple...We definitely can't let stay in a 'forbidden' relationship,"

Gotzon chuckled, turning around and saw a white cat standing over his brothers body, "Who is that?"

Lune turned around, "No idea,"

Jericho body stung in pain as he was gently lifted up in a gurney by some Nurse Cat's. Baron had run over to him once they've returned. Checking over him, the creation soon called over some nurses to help him to the doctors, to get medical treatment.

"is it bad?" Jericho whined.

"well, good or bad?" Baron inquired.

"...neither, really,"

Baron chuckled as Jericho was carried away, he turned around, surprised at another newcomer, a white cat.

Haru smile faltered a bit when there was a strange whistling noise, along with a few caws. She turned to see a white cat, who she recognized as the mysterious O, who had visited her before.

"hmmm?" Selim hummed, following her line sight. Surprise flickered in his eye, not because of the Cat, but whose body he stood over, "Alfonso?"

He ducked from under Harus arm and trotted over. He heard Haru follow him.

"O?" she asked the white cat.

"...O?" Lune appeared by her side, "you know this...cat?" Lune was bit off about the cat, realizing the other sat on all fours instead of his hind legs like all felines in the Cat Kingdom.

O raised his head, "we meet again, Haru. I'm glad everything ended well for you and for the kingdom's here,"

"Yeah,...What are you doing here?" Haru replied.

"First off," O turned around to completely face everyone and introduced himself, "my name is O, How do you do,"

"Hello, I am Baron, Baron Humbert Von gikkingen," He did a small bow before the white cat.

"I am Lune, King of the cat kingdom,"

"Gotzon….Chief of the wolf clan,"

"I'm Selim….Harus friend!"

"I know of all you and your great feats of besting Fenrir,"

"How do you know that?" Gotzon said, skeptically.

"I know many things, one who is baldur,"

Gotzon brows raised, "How'd you…,"

"As I said, I know many things...I must take my leave, for i've collected what i have come for," O got up, his white fur shining in the sunlight that poured from the windows. He gently nudged the fallen Alfonso's body, earning a soft gasp from Gotzon. O headed out the main doors, Haru decided to follow him. The other decided to follow him as well. As they exited the main hall, they were greeted by the cat kingdom, but their eyes were on the white cat.

Caws came from the air as Huginn and Munin swooped down, flying behind O.

"Thanks!" They crowed in unison.

O gave one look back and gave a slight nod and the sun seemed to shine brighter. The strange cat and the blackbirds disappeared. Haru wouldn't tell anyone, but she could have sworn she saw the ghost of Alfonso, besides O, with chains binding his body.

The aftermath of the war was not pretty. The dog army had pulled back, but the tension was still there. Gotzon took them back all home and brought the true King from out of the dungeons. The St. Bernard was sad to see what Alfonso had done to his Kingdom, but he knew he could return the peace, starting with a new treaty with the Wolf Clan and Cat Kingdom.

With each others help, the two kingdoms were set to restore their kingdoms back the way they were, but everyone was sure, no one would be the same. A vicious war, pain, agony. A thorn in the older generation. Most of the young ones would be either be told or somewhat faced the danger, but would not know the true horror of war.

Despites against Haru's protests to stay and help, Lune, with Barons help, sent her home.

Haru thought it was a nice feeling, to truly feel like a human again. Not a wolf girl, not a cat girl, but a human girl. She glanced over her shoulder, Baron, Muta, and Toto sat across the street. The three of them brought her home and would see to it that she went inside with no problem.

She gave her friends a small smile before going inside.

There was tears streaming down her mother's face at her daughters return. Her mother couldn't speak words, as happiness filled her. The two of them called the police and called off the search for Haru. Haru calmed down her mother and told her, "tomorrow, I will show you and tell you everything that happened,"

It was against her better judgment, but Haru realized she has been gone for 4 months and there was no way to explain to her mother a false lie on where she has been. She already talked to Lune and Baron, and to Lunes relantance, he agreed as well.

Tomorrow couldn't come fast enough as Haru's mom stared her down, demanding to know what happened. Haru only gave her a small smile before taking her mother's hand and leading her. Her mother was confused on why they were taking alleys and strange walkways before coming to a cobbled path with a white arch.

"Mom, This is where I and my friends will explain what happened," Haru said, squeezing her mother's hand.

Her mother raised a brow at her daughter, but didn't say anything and the two walked under the arch, the two were greeted with a voice.

"Welcome to the Cat's Bureau," than there was some barking.

A/N: Thank you to everyone who read and liked this story and sorry it took so long. I'm also sorry for it going off the rails (if you think nothing is wrong, than thanks) after having large gaps between writing and chapters, I forgot about my true story line and tried to make something up to move the story forward. I probably tied a few loose ends, but there are probably a lot to be answered. Though, my true purpose was to try and finish this story, otherwise...I think I would never will.

So, thank you all once again for reading this story.
