Deadpool- we're back!
White bubble- thank you, God.
Yellow bubble- ooohhhh I have missed this!
Deadpool- okay, readers, we all can agree the tardiness of this chapter can all be blamed on Superior Knight being too unbalanced with his "responsibilities." Like his responsibility to change his name.
White bubble- have you guys noticed something odd?
Yellow bubble- what?
White bubble- where the hell is Alucard, Seras and Cable?
Deadpool- I knew this place was missing breasts.
Superior Knight- that is because I must announce something to my fellow readers. Well, it's technically a confession.

Pinkie Pie- don't leave me with that weird red thingy with two legs.
Deadpool- touché.
Response to comments:
Aztec 13: we will have to wait and see, but from what you saw concerning Kai, there are a lot possibilities, including that one you asked about. Yes indeed, I was going that route between Superman and Batman. Eventually, we will see Shazam/Captain Marvel. Well, Heart of Darkness is something connected to a spirit that has history with the Spectre.
HockyfistDJGOD: yep, we saw the Cat Thief herself, and Batman is just being how he always is. Being the tough brooding cool guy. Faraday is just following the laws and enforcing them like any patriot. We can only hope Bolin will get out of it.
Ashbringer36: Yeah, I should probably head back and fix that area you brought up. Thanks for bringing it up anyways.
Theshow07: no worries, hermano. I am glad that you enjoyed that scene.
JThorpe5: I do have plans to have the characters you mentioned to appear. However, if you go back to my story of Book 1, you see Xandu and Constantine have already made their appearances. Thanks for the advice though.
Yoltro: you know, I just may actually do a Godzilla work.
Oddie55: thanks, here it is.
*Deadpool had his sidearm aiming right at Pinkie's face*
Deadpool- give me one good reason why I should not give eating a horse a try.
Pinkie- cherrychimichangas. *Pulls out a tray filled with cherrychimichangas out of nowhere*
*Deadpool puts away his gun*
Deadpool- welcome to the presenter position. You just might hold up.
*Pinkie looks towards the readers*
Pinkie- now on with this crossover story!
Southern Water Tribe…
There were soldiers of the Northern Water Tribe moving through the streets of the Southern Water Tribe city, and they approached the civilian southerners. All of the civilians were confused and surprised to see Northern Water Tribe troops approaching them.
"Clear the streets! Get back in your homes!" the officer of one of the platoons ordered the people, as they approaching a crowd of them.
The people did not comply, as they did not just to take kindly with these invasive soldiers from the North. The officer ordered the waterbending soldiers to summon out icy fences to separate the crowd, and the troops walked in between the separated crowd. At the docks, the Northern Water Tribe navy was beginning to set up a blockade to keep boats in the docks by rising up the water with waterbending.
As all of this was going on, Korra was standing right beside Unalaq, as she looked at the Northern Water Tribe troops were establishing their order and control.
"Uncle, why did you bring your troops from the North?" Korra asked, as she turned and looked to Unalaq.
"Now that you opened the Southern portal, we need to protect it from people that will do the spirits harm," Unalaq explained.
"I can protect it," Korra stated.
"I need you for something more important. There is another portal in the North. Once you open it, spirits and man will be able move freely between the North and the South in a matter of seconds," Unalaq informed Korra of another plan.
"But the solstice is over. How am I going to open it?" Korra asked.
"The spiritual energy is stronger in the North. Now that you've opened the Southern portal, you're spiritual energy is stronger as well," Unalaq explained.
"Our tribes may finally be united," Korra commented.
"The world will be united," Unalaq stated.
Republic City…
Clar had arrived back in Republic City, and he was flying over to the Capital building to meet with Raja Faraday to inform him about Batman. As Superman was flying over the city, he could then hear a voice in his head. It was like someone was calling out to him.
"You are not of this world," Superman heard.
Superman looked around to see if it truly was just in his head or someone was speaking to him.
"You are an alien," the voice whispered.
"Who is that?!" Superman asked out loud.
The voice did not respond, as Superman still showed respectable fear in his face, after hearing the voice stating that he was an alien. Superman could not see anyone around himself, and this was comfort to him but not as much. The Kryptonian took back to his return to the Capital building.
As Superman was flying over Republic City, Jun was driving a car towards a property that was the latest bought property by that suspect Jun questioned in the interrogation room.
"You are not of this world," the same voice that spoke to Superman boomed in Jun's voice.
"Urgh. What? That was telepathic… who is this?" Jun asked.
"You are an alien," the voice stated.
Jun was silent, but he knew that some force with a telepathic ability that already knew who he was must be dealt with accordingly.
"This is J'onn J'onnz of the planet M'arzz, you will identify who you are," Jun responded back to this telepathic shout, but there was no response.
"Inspector Jun Jo-ons, do you copy? This is Detectives Lu and Gang," the radio intercom called out.
Jun sighed, as he wasn't too fond of this lazy detective duo, but still answered the radio.
"This is Jo-ons. What do you want?" Jun asked.
"You headed to the last property on the list?" Lu asked.
"Yes. I am just headed to check it out. I won't need your help," Jun answered.
"Are you sure, Inspector?" Gang asked.
"I am sure. Over and out," Jun answered, and hung up the radio.
In another location, Gang and Lu were in their car, parked in a parking lot, as they were eating some sweet bread.
"He can be a hard-butt sometimes," Lu commented, as he licked the frosting off the pastry.
"Kind of funny how he is always called up by the Chief to do a lot of assignments for her," Gang said.
"Yeah… very weird," Lu responded.
Back with Jun, he arrived at the premises, and checked the front door to find it was locked. The inspector placed his ear to the door, and he could he hear some people in there. Jun decided to phase through the door, and he appeared and looked to see there was a crowd of people, all of them wearing red robes.
There was an alter in the front of the room, and they looked to see there was a child tied up and was hanging from the ropes tightly wrapped around him. There was another red cloaked man approaching the child, and he was carrying a book in one hand and a knife on the other hand.
"You are the tribute! Yours is nourishing the glory, knowledge and strength of the Centre!" the fanatic hollered, as he raised the knife up and prepared to sacrifice the child like cattle.
Jun widened his eyes in shock to see what these men were about to do, and he quickly took action by grabbing a wooden chair that was next to him, and threw it at the leading fanatic. The chair smashed the man from behind, and forcing him to drop the knife and book. The rest of the cultists looked back to see Jun, and they all rallied and attacked him. Jun punched the first attacker down with a knockout, and evaded a fire blast from a firebender. There was an earthbender that then chucked a boulder at Jun, but Jun smashed the rock with his bare fists and grabbed the closets two cultists and bonked their heads together.
In the sky, Superman's hearing managed to catch the sound of the chaos inside the make shifted cult meeting room, and Clar wasn't going to let this pass on without his intervention. Superman flew down to where the mass fight was taking place, and busted through the door to find Jun fighting off a crowd of cultists in red hooded robes. The Kryptonian thought quick and used his speed to push against the cultists down and restrained them, as Jun finished off the rest with ease.
Jun looked over to Superman, as Superman was approaching the child, and ungagged and untied him. The boy got a lot happier and joyful seeing Superman had come to save him along with the top cop of Republic City.
"Superman!" the boy said with amazement.
"Don't worry, you're safe now," Superman smiled at the boy.
"Thanks for the help, Superman," Jun said, as he approached Kal.
"No problem, inspector," Clar responded.
"You will be judged too."
Superman and J'onn looked back to the leader of the cult, as he was trying push himself up and look at the two men who stopped him and his compatriots. The man's eyes were dilated too much than normal.
"You will all be judged. Without the Centre, there is no holding," the man spoke out loud.
"The Centre, what's the Centre?" Jun asked, as he was already familiar with that noun.
The man then began to laugh, as his eyes went back to normal, and he kept laughing like a mad man that could only be dwarfed by the madness of another laughing menace.
Southern Water Tribe…
Korra was in a meeting with her parents and other Southerners, and the issue about the Northern Water Tribe troops moving in and establishing control in the Southern Water Tribe. Among them was Verriek, as he too, being a Southern Water Tribe descent, also had complaints about the Northern Water Tribe forces.
"Thank you all for coming everyone. I know these last few days have been troubling," Tonraq said to the meeting members.
"Troubling? Troubling is when I have that itchy rash that won't go away, and Zhu-li isn't there to scratch it. This is shocking. Real sickening, but these cookies, the exact opposite," Verriek said, as he was eating some cookies on the table for the meeting. Verriek then looked back to Zhu-li, who was standing right behind him, "Remind me to get the recipe later."
"Yes sir," Zhu-li replied.
"What's your point, Verriek?" Tonraq asked, trying to keep the meeting on topic.
"My point is, Unalaq has already booted out our chieftains out of their palace. How long before he starts telling us what kind of cookies we can eat?" Verriek rhetorically asked.
"Probably a couple of days," Zhu-li responded.
"Rhetorical question, Zhu-li, you've got to keep up. Not to mention, I have a cargo ship full of fish that is rotting, thanks to this harbor lockdown. Who wants to buy a ship filled with stinking fish?!" Verriek shouted, as he let his plate of cookies fall crashing down.
"Chief Unalaq is here to help the south. He wants to show us how to restore balance with the spirits so they may stop attacking," Korra defended her teacher in the spirits.
"The only spirit I am interested in restoring is my spirit of independence. Am I right," Verriek asked the meeting members.
Meeting members started to talk amongst themselves in agreement with what Verriek was saying.
"All Unalaq is trying to do is make our tribes unified again," Korra tried explaining.
"No, he wants control of our wealth. My wealth and I like my wealth. If Unalaq doesn't pull his forces out, then we have no choice but to fight for our freedom," Verriek hollered out.
"YEAH!" the people in the room shouted with pride.
"You want to start a war?!" Korra responded in great concern.
"Unalaq started this. Not us," Tonraq pointed out. The Water Tribesman could see Korra's obvious disappointed face. "I'm sorry. Maybe you can speak with your uncle. Tell him how frustrated we all are."
Korra thought for a second, and quickly agreed how it would be a better diplomatic approach concerning the Southerners complaints.
"Alright, I'll talk to him," Korra said.
"Fascinating, the new Wonder Woman going into diplomatic relations, and I still have fish stinking up my ship," Verriek complained.
Once Korra exited the hut, Verriek approached Tonraq with a serious look on his face.
"Look, we all know where this conflict is heading. We need to start preparing for war," Verriek told Tonraq.
Southern Air Temple…
Tenzin and his brother and sister, Kya and Bumi, were out wondering through the mountains searching for Ikki. Ikki had run off, after Jinora and Meelo confessed that they had teased her and told their parents that she ran away. So far, there was no luck in finding her.
"Why would Ikki run off like this? Maybe it's my fault," Tenzin said out loud.
"Yeah, maybe it is," Kya responded.
Tenzin looked at his sister with a questioning look, which was mostly due to her tone.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Tenzin asked.
"I guess you've been so caught up with your duty to Republic City that you forgot about your duty to your kids" Kya said.
"Hehehe, duty," Bumi laughed.
"What are you? Five years old?" Kya replied to Bumi.
Tenzin hung his head in shame. Kya was right; he hadn't been a good father to his kids.
"You're right. I haven't been spending enough time with them. I just wish I was as good as a father like dad was to us," Tenzin said.
"That's the problem. You're becoming exactly like dad, he was so focused on saving the world that he never had time for us," Kya stated.
"And the times he was spending time with us, his… other self always made things tense," Bumi pointed out.
The three of them were silent, as they remembered the happy and loving father they had, but also was the host to the angry and vengeful powerful Spirit of Vengeance.
"Dad… dad had a lot on his plate. He still loved us all. It happened a long time ago, why are we even talking about it?" Tenzin asked, trying to change the topic.
"Because you have this grandiose delusion that dad's other self didn't seem to have any effect on our family. Well guess what, it did. And I was always scared," Kya confessed.
Tenzin turned to look at Kya with shock. Aang as the Spectre may have been frightening, but he was fighting to keep the world safe.
"Scared of what?" Tenzin asked.
"Scared that you might fall down the same path dad was on when he would became…," Kya could not say the name.
"The Spectre…, come on we have find Ikki before night fall," Tenzin said, as he lead the way for his brother and sister to follow in their search for Ikki.
This talk did bring Tenzin to confess with himself; he tried to deny it for years but seeing his father becoming a whole different person did scar him a little too. Talking about it just made it feel worse.
Southern Water Tribe…
Mako and Asami were walking along the street of the Water Tribe city, and they looked to see Bolin pulling a wagon carrying passengers, Esska and Dessna.
"Oh man, this is just humiliating for Bolin," Mako commented, as he saw Bolin stopping the wagon and earthbending steps for Esska to step on as he held her hand as he led her down.
"This is just controlling him. Have you already noticed how he seems to act out of character?" Asami asked.
"Yeah, Bolin would acknowledge that he is acting like a slave right now, and would probably be looking to me for help. Like that one time that scary fan girl came after him when we were pro-benders," Mako answered, as he saw Bolin standing by the wagon as Esska and Dessna left inside the building. "That's it; I am going to help him out of this."
Mako marched over to Bolin, as Asami followed right behind him. The oldest brother approached Bolin face to face.
"Bolin, what's the matter with you?!" Mako demanded an answer.
"I am serving my sweet koala-otter, Esska," Bolin answered in a monotone tone.
"Bro, you're being taken advantage! Korra needs your help too! She can use your knowledge as Doctor Fate!" Mako tried to reason with Bolin.
"I want to be with my sweet Esska," Bolin simply replied in the same emotionless tone.
"Bolin, we are worried about you," Asami joined this surprise intervention.
"No need to worry about me, my brother and friend," Bolin answered.
"That's it, be like this!" Mako cursed, as he walked past Bolin irritated.
"Mako, wait up," Asami called out, and followed her boyfriend.
Elsewhere…
Korra had arrived in the company of Chief Unalaq, and she could see Unalaq sitting on the throne calmly with his eyes closed. There were no lit lights in the area of the throne, so there was only shadow with only light coming in from the entrance of the hall.
"There are no lessons for us today, Avatar Korra," Unalaq said, as he was fully aware of who it was that had come to meet him.
"I am sorry to disturb you, uncle, but I have something to tell you. The Southerners are starting become uncomfortable with your troops moving in here," Korra informed Unalaq.
"Your father has been talking to you," Unalaq said, opening his eyes.
"Not just him, but Verriek and others too, and they are starting to believe you are invading them," Korra explained.
"I am their chief. I am uniting both Water Tribes," Unalaq stated.
"I know, but it's just people are getting the wrong idea. There is even talk about a civil war breaking out," Korra notified her uncle.
"If the two tribes were to go into a civil war, there will be imbalance. The rest of the world will have to take sides, and will be pulled into chaos. The negative energy in this conflict will allow the darkness to rise, and the world will be thrown into darkness," Unalaq stated what could happen.
"What can we do to stop it?" Korra asked for advice.
"No, this is a job that only the Avatar must take responsibility for. You must not take any sides, so you must remain neutral in this conflict," Unalaq advised Korra.
"I don't know. I am usually the one who finishes fights, not stopping them from ever happening," Korra admitted.
"I believe in you, Korra," Unalaq encouraged her.
Republic City…
Superman had arrived at the Argent headquarters in Republic City, and was set to meet with Raja Faraday. The farmer raised young man thought about what he needed to tell Faraday concerning Batman's refusal to step down or surrender him. Then his train of thought changed from that to how Korra was doing concerning her training and bringing spiritual balance in the South.
'I surely hope Korra is doing okay herself. Bringing balance to rogue spirits would be a lot difficult than trying to make a man stop saving people,' Clar thought to himself.
Clar approached the office and entered to see Raja was on the phone speaking to someone at the other end.
"You would have to take your little suicide squad idea up with the president, Waller. If you want my opinion, I don't trust using criminals taking the fate of national security into their own hands," Faraday stated to the person known as, Waller. Raja looks up to see Superman had entered his office. "I have to go."
Faraday hung up the phone, and looked toward Superman.
"So how goes your little attempt to talk the Batman into submission?" Faraday asked.
"He… he won't come in," Clar answered the federal director agent.
"Well that shows that diplomatic solutions don't always solve everything, unfortunately," Faraday sighed, as he closed his eyes thinking for a second. "Well then if he won't come in quietly, we're just going to have to bring him in."
"Sir?" Superman replied in confusion.
"You'll also be joining in this operation to remove the vigilante off the streets," Faraday said.
"Director Faraday, please, I-," Superman was interrupted.
"Is there a champion hero who will serve his country and will uphold the laws it carries?" Faraday asked.
Superman hesitated with silence, as he did not like this one bit. He was being ordered to take down a man who helped him and Korra defeat the Equalists and saved the United Republic from being destroyed by a powered up Sylung Grundy. Clar now knew how Korra must have felt when she was in that task force trying to hunt him down during his early times as the Guardian.
"I'll do what I can," Superman answered.
"We can't disappoint the president, and we need to show we have full authority in these sorts of laws," Faraday said.
Southern Water Tribe…
There was a squad of Northern Water Tribe soldiers marching through the street of the Southern city, and they were receiving glares from Southern citizens. Two of the soldiers felt snowballs falling on their heads, and they looked up to see two Southern boys laughing at their prank on the soldiers. The soldiers not taking kindly used waterbending to pull down the mass of snow the children were standing on and causing them to fall.
"You little punks think you can do whatever you want," the squad leader growled at the children.
"Pick on a waterbender your own size!" one Southerner yelled out, as he and his companions summoned up water to prepare and fight the soldiers for harming the children.
The Northern soldiers summoned up water as well, and prepared for combat. That was until Korra rushed in, riding on Naga, came in between the two groups.
"Everyone calm down," Korra took arbitrary position.
"Tell these thugs to go back to the North! They're not welcome here!" one Southerner growled.
"These Southerners need to stay in line," the Northern squad leader said.
"You're all part of the same tribe. Start acting like it," Korra stated.
"You're taking their side?! I thought you were one of us?!" a Southerner responded with aggression.
"I am not taking anyone's side," Korra replied back, but was then hit by a snowball that was thrown by a waterbending Southern girl.
"You are the worst Avatar ever," the little girl angrily said, as she summoned some water and formed it into another snowball and flung it toward Korra.
Korra placed her hand up and used waterbending to make the snowball disperse before it hit her. The two sides were still showing hostility toward each other, but then Tonraq approached and came between the two groups.
"Everyone, walk away," Tonraq told the Southerners, and he looked toward the Northern soldiers. "They are not worth our trouble. Go back to your homes."
The Southerners looked among themselves, and they decided to comply with the banished Northern Water Tribesman. They all turned around and left to their homes, as the Northern Water Tribe soldiers got back to formation and marched off.
"Korra," Tonraq said, as he wanted to speak to his daughter, but he saw that she had already left.
Republic City…
Jun was sitting in his office looking at a book he had confiscated from busting that large mass of cult members about to murder the young boy. There was something that was nagging him into finding out what was it that cult was worshiping. The Centre was the name of the entity the cult was calling it.
"What is the Centre?" Jun asked out loud.
Jun then heard the door to his office being knocked, as Lin then let herself in.
"Jun, you're still on with that book you found in that cult?" Lin asked.
"Yeah, I just thought there might be some clues in here," Jun answered.
"Well you might want to put that on hold. We still have Intergang at large," Lin said, as she closed the door behind her.
"Sure," Jun replied, as he then placed the book down on his desk. The shape-changer walked over to the board he had set up that pinned any information concerning Intergang. "They're not as loud as before with Manheim in charge, but still leading small organized crime."
"And… Malefak?" Lin asked.
Jun paused hearing the name of his insane brother, as he remembered all the horrific crimes he had done.
"I'm still searching for him," Jun angrily said.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to mention him," Lin said, as she placed her hands to Jun's shoulders.
"No. It's fine. He's biding his time, but I'll find him and I will bring justice to him," J'onn responded, as he calmed down feeling Lin's hands soothing his shoulders. He reached with his right hand to hold on to one of Lin's hands, as Jun then smiled at her. "Until I find him, just keep to that habit of smoking."
"You're still working on controlling your fear to fire?" Lin asked.
"Yes. Slow and… painful progress, but… I'll get there. Soon I won't be freezing up in fear when there is an inferno in front of me," Jun responded.
"J'onn… I hope I am not intruding, but… have you ever considered if there were… other survivors from that war," Lin asked.
"I have. It's just that after finding my wife and daughter gone… at that point I didn't want to live anymore…," Jun was silenced with the painful memories. "Though, every Martian knew of Earth's inhabitants. Laws implemented to stay away from Earth, after rogue Martians used to hunt humans for sport. The Earth is the only inhabitable world in this stellar system, so if there are survivors then they will be taking refuge on this world."
"Then there is still a chance," Lin commented.
"Yes, there is," Jun looked at Lin, as he then placed his forehead to hers. Closing his eyes as he felt the essence of the human he had fallen in love with. "Words cannot describe how much you have made a great impact on me, Lin."
"You don't have to use words," Lin responded, as she then moved her lips to J'onn's lips. The two kissing for a short and tender moment, as they parted back. "Don't let me keep you back from working."
"Don't mind at all," J'onn smiled, as he then turned around to work on his investigation. Lin gave a smile, as she walked out of the office.
Elsewhere…
Superman was ordered to meet with chief scientific officer to the United Forces and consultant to Argent, as there was something that had been found and the science officer was requesting for Superman. Clar entered the laboratory of the scientist, and he looked to see several meteor fragments being examined. The young man got a bit startled, and kept his distance away from the meteorites.
"Looks like you have seen a ghost," Clar heard someone speaking.
He turned around to see the eldest disowned son of the Sato family, Lee Luthor, wearing a white lab coat.
"The mighty Man of Steel scared of a pacifist spirit? What the people would be saying about that," Lee commented, as he took one glance at a few dials that were connected to the equipment around the meteor rocks.
"Lee Luthor Sato?" Superman asked.
"Just ends with Luthor. I am not a Sato anymore," Lee answered, as he then reached for a switch and caused for lead coverings to seal the meteor rocks inside casings to restrain the energies within the rocks. "I've been experimenting on the meteor rocks that have been falling to Earth lately. People aren't fully informed about this sort of energy that is coming from these rocks. Don't you think?"
"You requested for me?" Clar asked, trying not to give information about the meteor rocks being able to weaken by changing the subject.
"Yes, just for asking for any knowledge on what I am about to show you," Lee said, as he then walked to the other end of his lab. "Follow me please."
Superman followed Lee Luthor, and he saw Lee opening a locked case.
"The symbol on your chest has no historical records. Everybody has been looking and wondering what your emblem means. Speculating it as a serpent," Lee gave a small change of tone when he brought up serpent. "But after some required research investigation, I was able to prove otherwise that there are no records of that symbol."
Lee opened the case, and moved off to the side to show Superman what was in the box. Clar looked in and saw in the center of the box in display the symbol of the House of El. Clar's eyes widened in surprise and shock to see the symbol of his Kryptonian family that was not from the ship that brought him to Earth.
"Where… where did this come from?" Superman asked.
"You sound surprised," Lee said. "Well if you really want to know, this was found within Avatar Kyoshi's tomb."
"Avatar Kyoshi… wait… you mean this… medallion dated back to all those centuries ago? Back to the time of Kyoshi," Superman asked.
"Seems like it. I came to the path on finding it, after trying to look into other metahumans with your abilities. Super strength, durability and flight fall under the category of metahumans like the Geo-Forces or even magic enhanced like the Shazams. You're obviously not them, given how you have no electrical abilities of Shazams and earthbending of Geo-Forces," Lee kept informing Superman.
"You didn't answer my question," Superman replied.
"Well, as the irrational say it, a star fell out of the sky, after the time Kyoshi became a fully realized Avatar, and something broke out of the star. Something… alive," Lee said. "Legends had it, that Kyoshi was the only one who had communications with this, visitor from the stars."
"Mister Luthor, are you speculating that my symbol is an emblem belonging to a…," Superman tried looking for the proper word.
"Alien, Superman? I'm not sure. I was hoping you would tell me," Lee responded, as he was examining Superman's facial profile for any reaction.
"I… had no knowledge of this medallion's existence," Superman said, as he looked at the piece of evidence. Clar was silent, as he then reached for the medallion.
"Don't touch it!" Lee growled, as he closed the box from Superman reaching it. "Er… please, the medallion is too delicate to be handled by the naked hand. It is, after all, nearly four hundred years old, and for nearly all that time has been in the mummified hands of a monumental Avatar."
"Yes, of course," Superman replied politely, as he stepped back. "Sorry for not being able to help you with what you were looking for, but I must get going now."
"By all means, Superman, go and be a good soldier," Lee said, giving a smile.
Superman could see the smug look in Lee's eyes, but Clar decided it best to let this glance be bygones, for he had other matters to attend to. Clar turned around and took off.
'This is impossible. How could my family symbol be here on this world for this long even before I came here?' Clar thought to himself, as he was more lost concerning his origins.
Southern Water Tribe…
Korra arrived back to hut, as she had gone through a stressful day in trying to maintain peace and order among the two tribes. When Korra entered the hut, she looked to see her mother, Senna, sitting and waiting for Korra to arrive. The Avatar wasn't in the best moods right now to talk, especially if it concerned her father.
"Did dad send you to talk to me?" Korra asked, as walked over to set by her mother.
"Your father doesn't know I'm here," Senna answered. "Korra what's going on between you two?"
"Ask dad," Korra replied, as she looked off to the side with frustration.
"I tried, but he won't talk about it. Honey, it breaks my heart to see our family being torn apart like this," Senna said with loving concern.
"You want to know what has been happening. I have found out that dad has been lying to me my whole life. Unalaq told me everything. How dad and Tenzin have kept me trapped down here while I trained, and how dad got banished from the North," Korra vented out the reasons of anger to her father.
"So you now know," Senna asked.
"You knew too, and you kept it a secret from me?" Korra responded with great disappointment.
"Your father and I just wanted to keep this family together and let you have a normal childhood," Senna explained herself and her husband's reasons to keeping the secrets.
"I never wanted a normal childhood. All I ever wanted to be was the Avatar. But everyone keeps holding me back, even my own parents. Unalaq is the only one who believes in me," Korra replied back.
"That's not true, Korra," Senna said.
"No? Then why is everyone in the South turning against me, when all I am doing is trying to help them," Korra said.
"The problems between the North and the South started long before you were born. You can't expect to undo them in a day," Senna stated the reasons to the tensions between the two tribes.
"So I should just set back and let the Water Tribes go to war?" Korra rhetorically asked.
"No. But the situation maybe out of your control. Verriek has been planning a rebellion against Unalaq. He asked your father to join, but-," Senna was interrupted.
"Dad is part of a rebellion?!" Korra asked in great shock.
"I don't know, but I don't want to be caught in the middle of it." Senna answered with concern.
"It's too late mom. I'm already in the middle of it," Korra stated, as she rushed out the hut to leave to the Chieftain Palace.
"Korra!" Senna tried calling out for her daughter, but the Avatar still took off, riding on Naga.
Later…
It wasn't long until Korra would finally arrive at the palace, and she quickly dismounted Naga and rushed inside to inform her uncle of the news about the rebellion. However, when she got there, she then saw there were royal guards that were knocked out and tied up.
"Oh no," Korra said, as she quickly rushed to Unalaq's room.
Suddenly, Korra heard a screaming sound, as if someone was falling. The Avatar rushed toward one hallway, but then saw a man being thrown right past her and crashing down to the floor. Korra looked to see that this man was wearing a mask over the majority of his face, so she quickly assumed it must be a Southern rebel.
Korra looked down the hall to see whoever it was who threw the rebel, and she saw Unalaq at the center of the hall as there was glowing white energy coming from his hands. Unalaq was holding up his hands blistering with white light, as he was carrying up the rebels that had attempted to kidnap him during his sleep.
"U… uncle?" Korra said in confusion and awe at this discovery of power Unalaq had.
"Only a matter of time until you found out about my own special talent in magic," Unalaq said to Korra.
"Are… are you alright? Did they hurt you?" Korra went back to the important topic concerning the attempted kidnapping.
"I am adequate. If not for my magic, they would have easily overpowered me," Unalaq answered. "Now they will freeze in prison, along with whoever conspired with this rebellion."
"Wait, you can't just lock them up just yet," Korra said.
"You want them to go free?!" Unalaq replied.
"No, just, let them stand trial for their actions. Everyone deserves that," Korra answered with reason.
"… Very well, I shall respect the Avatar's wishes," Unalaq answered, as he looked to see more of his guards coming their way to assist their chief.
Southern Air Temple…
Jinora was sitting in the meditation grounds meditating, and she was not aware of the mysterious and noble, Phantom Stranger, standing before her out of nowhere.
"Jinora," the Stranger spoke to get the young girl's attention.
Jinora opened her eyes to see the Stranger in front of her.
"Phantom Stranger, are… are we going to go back with my spiritual training? Jinora asked, as she stood up and bowed to her spiritual tutor.
"Quite; we will be taking a sort of quest that will help you attain what is necessary to help this world," the Phantom Stranger answered.
"Really? Uh, where are we going?" Jinora asked with curiosity.
"Jinora, you and I are going to stand before a devil spirit, Trigon," the Phantom Stranger stated.
Oth-Yen…
In the deep inner caverns of a secret cave, there was a base of operations that was fit for a secret army, but the activity going on was only concerning bat critters flying along the cave and a man dressed in bat armor. The Batman was working on a contraption of sorts, and as he had all of his attention on his work, a slightly elderly man approached him.
"Master Gray-sung has already started his patrol duty, and Barb-Ra is returning from her out of town assignment," the elder man informed the Batman.
"Hurrm," Batman merely responded.
"Master Wang, the two of our companions in crime fighting are all concerned. After the confrontation you had with Superman," the butler spoke.
"I have fought right beside him during the Equalist Revolution, and I have been able to see him fight, Alfu. And I have simulated to what he is capable of," Batman answered, as he takes out a piece of the meteor rocks.
"So then it's settled then? The United Republic will be sending Superman to come and try to stop your effort," Alfu asked.
"Yes, and now I have everyone with their own tasks, if we want to get this to work," Batman answered. "We also need to keep our eyes on the Cult of the Centre, and all these attacks from these reptilian monsters. From the evidence I have gathered they may be connected."
"Wouldn't this also be connected with these spirits that have been rising out of nowhere?" Alfu asked.
"I'm not sure. Which is why need to get into contact, Jung Konsutantin. He's the expert in these sorts of areas," Batman responded. "But until then, we need to prepare for Superman's attempt to put me away."
Southern Water Tribe…
Korra rode to her parents' home, as she was eager to see if her father was there. Due to the earlier events that happened with attempted kidnapping of her uncle, Korra found out that her father didn't join the rebellion after all. The Avatar knocked on the entrance of the hut, and opened the door to see both her mother and father sitting by the table eating breakfast.
"Is it okay, if I come in," Korra asked, after looking off to the side.
"Of course. We heard what happened. Are you okay?" Senna answered, but then asked her daughter concerning the rebellion.
Korra looked toward her father, frowning and her eyes beginning to water up, and then rushed to her father and held on to him.
"I am so glad you weren't there. I don't know what I would have done," Korra said, holding back her tears.
"I had no idea how far Verriek was willing to go. My brother and I have our differences, but I would never attack him," Tonraq said to Korra, as he hugged her.
"I am sorry for thinking you had something to do with the rebels, and for all the pain I've caused you and mom," Korra said, as she looked down.
"I am the one who should apologize. When I saw the Southern Lights return, I was so proud of you. I never should have held you back," Tonraq told Korra, trying to comfort her.
"When your father and I found each other, all we wanted to have was a simple life and raise a family. But then we discovered that you were the Avatar, and simple was over. We knew one day the world would need you, and you wouldn't need us," Senna said to Korra.
"Mom, dad, of course I still need you," Korra said, as she pulled her parents together for a group hug.
Elsewhere…
In the Chieftain Palace, in Unalaq's chamber, Unalaq was sitting cross-legged in front of the same dark stone that was in the secret compartment in his royal ship. The radiating light to it didn't seem to make the room any bright, but a dark tone to it.
"I am making progress, as we speak. Small minor setbacks that could stall me, such as my brother," Unalaq said to the stone.
"Your brother is the least of my worries, Unalaq," the dark voice said.
"What do you mean? The Sorcerer Supreme is still under the hex of my daughter, and the Avatar doesn't suspect a thing," Unalaq pointed out.
"It is not them I am concerned for. I sense another ancient force rising and growing stronger," the voice spoke.
"What is it?" Unalaq asked.
"An ancient beast that fears you humans and spirits, the Centre," the voice informed Unalaq.
"What do you want me to do?" Unalaq asked.
"Make haste now. Harmonic Convergence is nearing closer, and I can use that power to bring about the new era that not the Centre, the Avatar, Kryptonian, not even the Spectre can stop us," the voice said.
"As you command, Vaatu," Unalaq responded.
Pinkie- aaawwwwww! Korra and her parents forgiving each other! Everyone's happy!
Deadpool- except Unalaq is being sneaky here with that yahoo, Vaatu, who is taking the role of Eclipso here. I hate that guy.
Pinkie- if any of you are wondering why Unalaq isn't having Korra's parents arrested, it's because Korra has the Lasso of Truth. With it, she can easily see if her parents did have anything to do with the rebellion and thus foiling Unalaq's plan to get rid of Tonraq. That is an unhealthy sibling relationship.
Deadpool- also, as Superman and Batman are anticipating the coming battle between each other, looks like the Boy Scout has found out that there other Kryptonians on Earth before he was. That medallion in the hands of Avatar Kyoshi, one tough hardcore Avatar who has hardly had any screen time in the entire series, yet still has an adequately big number of fans.
White Bubble- and hold your horses.
*Deadpool grabs Pinkie*
Yellow Bubble- Trigon also exists in this reality!
Deadpool- which means we will be seeing…
*Pinkie wears a dark hood cloak over herself*
Pinkie- Azerath Metrion Zinthos!
White bubble- and it looks like Bolin is still being extorted into being the trophy boyfriend to a creepy yet still attractive princess of the North.
Yellow bubble- Yeeeaayaah!
Deadpool- again with the cop romance, between the Chief of Police and the Martian Manhunter. Also there's more acknowledgement about the Centre.
Pinkie- oh, also, the DC character Unalaq is standing for is Wonder Woman villain, the White Magician. I hope we made you smile!
Deadpool- and I will assure you all that if the Superior Knight doesn't update sooner than this hiatus, I'll kill him.
