The drive home was done on autopilot as Kayden remembered Dean's mouth on her, and the sounds he made when she touched him. She remembered the look of disappointment on his face when she told him she was going home. No. Worse than disappointment. He looked hurt. Almost as miserable as she felt.

She pulled into her driveway and turned the car off, but she sat there a moment. Dean's voice ran through her head.

"You deserve better... you're scared."

He was right. About everything.

When Kayden went inside, David was sitting in the kitchen. He walked over to her.

"What happened to you? You were just supposed to be getting your phone. I was worried sick."

"I got sidetracked."

"I called your cell. Why didn't you answer?"

Kayden pulled her phone out. "I didn't hear- it's dead. I'm sorry, David."

"And I called your office phone."

"I wasn't in there the whole time, and I didn't check the missed calls. I'm sorry."

"What's going on with you, Kay? You've been acting weird the last few days."

"Nothing. I'm fine."

"Kay... I know I'm not supposed to bring it up-"

"Then don't."

"But I acted this way when I was cheating. Are you?"

Kayden turned to walk away, but decided to face him.

"I could be. Right now, I could be in a motel having amazing sex. I told you about that guy I hooked up with the night you told me about your affair, right?"

"Yes."

"He's back in town. And I ran into him, and he kissed me, like... No. Let's be honest. I kissed him, like I hadn't been kissed since the last time he kissed me."

David just nodded, staring at the floor.

"He kissed me," she continued, "and we ended up half undressed, his mouth on my breast, and my hand in his pants."

"Okay... Okay," David said. "I think we can skip the details."

"If he hadn't gotten an urgent call, we would be curled up together right now."

"I got it," David said, his voice rising.

"No, you don't get it. After he handled that call, he came back and invited me to his motel room... and I came home. As far as we went, and as far as I wanted to go, I came home."

David's face softened, and he reached out to take Kayden's hand, but she backed away and went up the stairs.

Sam was in the shower. Dean lay on his bed flipping through the tv channels, trying to get his mind off of Kayden. He thought about going to the bar next door, but it didn't feel right. He had stopped and picked up a few beers on the way back to the motel. He took a long pull from one before sitting it on the bedside table. The television wasn't enough of a distraction, so he turned it off and closed his eyes.

And there she was. Fiery eyes staring into his before she kissed him.

Why was this woman affecting him this way? What was it about her?

Dean decided not to fight it. He let the memory of her hand on him run through his mind. Her skin beneath his fingers. The taste of her lips. Dean let out a quiet moan. He would start forgetting about her tomorrow. Tonight, he needed the memory.

When Sam emerged from the bathroom, he saw Dean lying with his arm thrown over his eyes, and the heel of his other hand digging into the top of his leg, which was bent up on the bed.

"Dude, you okay?"

Sam's voice startled Dean, and he made a quick move to sit up.

"Fine. You done with the shower?"

"Yeah."

Dean walked past Sam and shut the door. A cold shower was probably the best thing for him.

Wrong. It didn't help. Now he was picturing Kayden with him in the shower. Sleep would be his only reprieve. He finished quickly, dressed, and climbed into bed. Sam was soon snoring in the next bed, but Dean couldn't sleep. He lay awake, staring at the ceiling when a shadow passed the window. Then there was a knock the door. Dean grabbed his gun and walked over to peek out. It was Kayden. He put the gun away and opened the door.

"Everything okay," he asked.

She stood there a moment without answering. Dean raised his eyebrow in question, and was about to ask again when she finally spoke.

"I left him."

Dean stared at her for just a moment before he put his hand to the back of her head and pulled her into a kiss. Kayden wrapped her arms around his shoulders, and Dean backed into the room and shut the door. They fell onto the bed, and Dean kissed down Kayden's neck. She turned her head to the side and saw a figure in the next bed.

"Dean," she whispered, pushing him away. "Is that Sam?"

"Oh... Yeah. I almost forgot."

"I got a room here," she said.

Dean smiled and ran his fingers through her hair.

"Let's go."

He helped her off the bed and followed her out of the room. His lips were on her neck as she unlocked her door, and she smiled remembering their first night together. He had done the same thing. Only this time he didn't linger in the doorway. Both of them were beyond positive that this was what they wanted. No questions.

She was barely facing Dean again when he pulled Kayden's shirt off. Her hands went to his belt as Dean's hands cupped her face while they kissed. The rest of their clothes came off between kisses and caresses, and Dean finally lay her on the bed. He kissed to her ear and whispered.

"I've been thinking about you since I left your office."

"Same here," she said. "I'm sorry I let you leave."

Dean stopped kissing her neck and looked into her eyes.

"You're here now," he said.

He brushed his thumb over her cheek, and Kayden's fingers circled around his wrist.

"Take me," she whispered.

Dean kissed her chin. "I will, sweetheart."

"No, Dean..." Her hand moved to his face. "From the moment I saw you at my door, I knew I was still attracted to you. When I kissed you on the elevator, I couldn't help myself. Then, in my office..."

"Which time," Dean asked with a smirk.

"Tonight. We were so close, Dean."

"I know."

"I was so close..."

"I know," he said as he kissed below her ear.

"I want you, so bad."

"I want you, too."

"Then take me."

His hand slid down the back of her thigh, and he lifted her leg over his hip. She felt his tip slide against her entrance before pushing inside, just barely. He took her hand, laced their fingers together, and pressed her hand into the mattress as he filled her. A loud moan escaped her lips before Dean covered her mouth with his own. He moved in slow, long strokes. His hips would grind against her each time they connected.

Kayden wasn't sure how, but she managed to get Dean onto his back. She straddled him and took him deeper as she sat up. Dean followed and held her tight against his chest as she rocked back and forth in his lap. He kissed her neck, then moved back enough to take her breast into his mouth without interrupting her rhythm. Kayden leaned back in his arm, her hips still grinding against his, and her fingers in his hair.

"That feels so good," she whispered.

"Damn good."

She lifted his face to look into his eyes.

"You're amazing," she whispered.

Dean kissed her, then lay back and watched her ride him. His hands roamed up and down her thighs until Kayden started to bounce. Dean moaned, and he grabbed on to her hips. He began to meet her with his own thrusts, and Kayden started losing her rhythm. Dean pulled her down against him and rolled her onto her back. He picked the pace back up and kissed below Kayden's ear.

"That was so sexy," he whispered.

He held her tight as his thrusts came faster. She had her legs wrapped around him, and her hands roamed over his back before grabbing hold of his shoulders.

"Dean," she whimpered.

"I know, sweetheart. Let go."

Kayden gasped as her body shook. Dean kept pumping while she rode it out, until he joined her. He let out a loud moan when his body went limp on top of hers. He stayed inside of her, enjoying the feeling of her pulsating around him, and kissed her neck. Soft, lazy, open-mouth kisses. Kayden sank one hand into Dean's hair, while the other rubbed over his arm and back. They stayed that way for several minutes before Dean rolled onto his back with a contented sigh, and pulled Kayden next to him. He tilted her face up with a finger under her chin.

"You are so beautiful," he whispered.

His hand cupped her face and he kissed her. Soft and slow.

"Dean... I'm exhausted."

"Go to sleep," he said as he kissed her neck.

"I don't want to fall asleep on you."

"It's okay. We had a long night. I'll kiss you until you fall asleep."

His lips returned to her neck, and she sighed.

"You're amazing."

"So are you," he whispered.

Kayden woke in a tangle of limbs. Dean's strong arms were wrapped around her, and their legs were intertwined. She nuzzled into his neck and sighed. She couldn't resist the urge to press her lips against his skin, and he shifted a little. A sleepy groan escaped his lips, but he squeezed her tighter.

"This is a nice way to wake up," he said. His voice was thick with sleep, and it sent a shiver through Kayden.

"We should probably get up before we start something again," she said. "I'm sure Sam is worried about you."

"Yeah. I did kind of run out without my phone."

Dean kissed her. His fingers ran through her hair.

"So," he said, "what are you gonna do now?"

"Well, the house is in my name, so David is moving out. I'm just going to move on with my life."

"How would you feel about hitting the road with us?"

"Dean... I could wake up like this every morning..."

"I sense a 'but' coming."

"But... I'm not cut out for your life. And let's be honest. I don't even know your real last name. I'm guessing you use an alias pretending to be an FBI agent."

"Beautiful and smart," Dean said as he smiled at her. "It's Winchester."

"Dean Winchester. I think it'll be better for both of us if I stay behind when you leave."

"Maybe you're right."

"But I'm glad you came back."

"Me, too, sweetheart."

Dean kissed her again. His hand slid down her back, over her rear, and down her leg, which was draped over his. His lips moved to her neck, and she sighed.

"I'm gonna miss you," she said.

Dean pulled back and looked into her eyes.

"Oh, I'll be back."

"Will you?"

"As long as you're available, I'll be back. You still have my card?"

"Yeah."

"If you ever need anything, you call me."

"Anything?"

"Anything. I'll get here as soon as I can. And if I'm ever in the area, I'll swing by."

"Something to look forward to."
