So, Octavvy got a happy ending in BoO didn't he?
Octavian sat calmly on a bench, hands folded, eyes staring straight a head. He waited for his truest love to arrive. He had a present for her and knew she would adore it. He smiled when Rachel approached, nodding at her.
"I have a present for you my dear." He said. She beamed.
"What is it?" He took of the jacket he was wearing and it shimmered, becoming the golden fleece. she clapped.
"You stole it how did you steal it?"
"I employed some of the best thieves on our side. They did an amazing job, Camp Half blood will be destroyed!" His grin was evil and Rachel thought it was beautiful.
"We'll rule both camps. Bring them to their knees." She declared, holding the golden fleece and shivering with power. Her Oracle power had been cut of, as had Octavian's augur powers, but they had other things on their side, an army of rebellious demigods and compliant monsters. They would bring both camps to their knees and rule them, no one would ever doubt them again. They'd force Apollo to restore their power. Everything would be different, but this time change was on their side. Before it had never been on their side, Rachel being forced to attend Clarion Academy, Octavian being shoved aside for Percy Jackson's Praetorship. The Graeccus never deserved the title! But now they would rule both camps. They would be more than Praetors. The gods would fear them. They were powerful, they were better than any mortal or demigod ever before.
"I love you." Rachel said, giving him a quick kiss.
"I love you too." He told her, gazing lovingly into her eyes. Their kind of love was mad and desperate for power but their love was theirs, and no one would take it from them because they were unstoppable together.
"I can't believe I was ever blinded by Camp Half Blood's ideals." Rachel muttered.
"Its okay. I tried to be the camp hero too. But it is so much more fun being the camp ruler, with my true love by my side." He slipped his hand in hers and squeezed. She smiled.
"People are wrong. They call us evil and say we don't deserve love but we deserve love. We deserve love more than anything. We've been forced into other people's boxes for so long we deserve to be able to break free and do things our own way."
"You're right." His eyes glinted cruelly.
"We won't conform. We will change the world."
So this goes against every Octachel and Octavvy fic I've ever written, but I had to write it because the idea of evil Rachel was so glorious to me. All my Octachel beliefs stand on the fact I think that Rachel can change Octavian, but Octavian is the persuasive one. What if he changed Rachel instead of the other way around? Anyway I hoped you liked it and don't want to kill me too much.
