It's that time of the year again!
(Is a line I could legit say by now hahaaa kill me)
But yeah, I can finally drop an update without thinking to myself this is garbage tier x) As for the update rate, I once again am really sorry, and will try to better myself, but I am noticing school, epilepsy, the combo of those two, and sometimes real life even can make those things difficult.
Tho yeah, I should actually just kick myself in the balls and force me into writing and especially not deleting big parts over and over again, wew.
Well, here it is after all, though!

To everyone reading, have a good time and roast me in a review if you feel fitting^-^
And thanks to a kind reminder, I should have the discord link in my profile updated, which seemed to have run out, so if you want to come over and hang out, it should be working again^^ (and if not, just send me a PM, and if you don't want to join and just want to talk to me or ask me something with direct feedback, a PM works for that too)

Enjoy!

Into the Eye of the Storm

...

-'But how is that possible?' Quinn argued, her tone turned serious now too. 'They're exclusive to us Champions. Or Runeterran people, if you want to implement all kinds of runes.'

Elise just raised her hands, seeming to enjoy the distress.

'We'll probably only have an answer to that as soon as we meet them, dear.'

-'Yeah, let's not do that.' Zyra halted her, holding Hayden's arm down again out of pure concern. 'We have to make sure we get through that storm front and lose them, or else we'll be sitting ducks like this.'

Elise's smile grew again, with a faint red glow returning to her eyes. She let her head rest on one of her hands, focusing her gaze on Zyra.

'Now it gets interesting. How will you do that, sweetheart? It's not like we are able to be in any way of influence on the movement of this vehicle.'

Zyra's eyes flared up, their golden glow clashing with the ominous light of Elise's red irises.

'Don't act like you're outside of all this.'

The dark haired mage put one hand on her chest, pretending to be hurt by the other one's words.

'What if I tell you that I already have an emergency solution ready, but we just need enough concentration?'

-'Then stop leading us on and tell us your plan this instant.' Riven suddenly spoke up, soft but cold. Even Elise seemed surprised for a second, but just cocked her head, taking in the warrior's meaningful gaze.

'Alright then. Now that we know they have runes, we also know they can trace us, the closer the better. Running away is not the preferable option, since that will result in an unending chase. However, I am an influential denizen of the Shadow Isles. Even here, I have abilities you all and, taking a gamble here, whoever our pursuers are, don't have either. It's time we exploit that. Simply said, we take all the runes, I open a portal for a spiderling to their dimension, and we stow them away there. Result: both us and our stalkers lose the ability to track each other purely by rune attraction. This will make running away as soon as we'll have entered the storm valid again, so we can land. Objections?'

The room turned silent for a short while as the group thought over Elise's proposal, but the silence got halted by Vi sitting up straight.

'Going by that plan does mean you should give us a reason to trust you. Got any, denizen of the Shadow Isles?'

Elise let out a snicker, leaning back.

'Which one do you trust more, me, or unknown pursuers who got their hands on artifacts supposedly nonexistent in this realm?'

Before Vi could react to Elise's warning words, the plane suddenly made a ninety degrees tilt sideways, diving down in a steep angle.

'What the fuck is that woman doing!?' Zyra growled, but a series of loud vibrations throughout the cabin made her exclamation lost for words.

'What's going on with the engine!?' Ellie yelled over to Hayden when the vibrations started to become irregular in both timing and intensity, her voice pitched slightly higher due to fright.

'Those aren't engine sounds…' Riven hissed in a colder tone they had ever hear her speak.

'They're explosions around the aircraft.'

-'So it seems our unknown colleagues opened fire...there's another addition to your reasons, dear.' Elise commented, unfazed by the shifting angle and acceleration, fixing her gaze on Vi.

'You really excel in pissing people off, bitch!' the Piltoverian grunted, cracking one of her knuckles.

'I am just reaching out with a solution, it's yours to take it.' the mage calmly renewed her proposal. Another heavy explosion outside and the plane tilting over cut short Vi's next reply, and Elise's expression turned darker. 'On a less playful note, you'd do best to take a decision sooner than later, dear. For all we know, they can also use our runes to locate the plane in the storm and burn us to a crisp within the next minute.'

Zyra gestured at Vi to halt her.

'She's not the only mage here. Judging by the situation, it's better to take the risk.'

Vi frowned her brows, but a sharp angled turn of the aircraft gave her a last push. She growled something and slammed the armrests of her chair in frustration.

'Fine, I'll roll with it. But be sure that the first thing I do if you betray us is fuck you up!'

-'Ever so gentle, darling.' Elise sensually mused. 'Well then, if everyone else is on the same page, we should get this plan going.' she continued, shifting tone to a serious one. 'Hayden, you go stand next to the door together with Riven and Ellie.

'Excuse me?' Hayden frowned, looking at the tilt of the aircraft. Elise didn't immediately respond, but spread her arms and very clearly spread a network of cobwebs over the cabin.

'Use those to move about. That counts for everyone. We're going to have to move fast if we want to do this without our tour guide noticing.'

Elise herself already removed her seatbelt and deftly used the maze of silk to move towards the tailgate, already channeling magic and distorting the cobwebs into ominous cocoons.

'Come help me, dear flower in the dark.' she spoke, turning her again crimson red eyes towards Zyra. The redhead had already released her own seatbelt and somewhat awkwardly took a few first steps on the webs.

'Don't worry, I'm here…' she said, her eyes glowing in their trademark yellow colour again while she was trying to stabilize herself to the ever changing angle and speed of the plane. 'Riven, draw your full sword and squash it against Hayden. I don't want half measures or his corruption surfacing in this small cabin.'

-'Don't forget all your runes, darlings. Otherwise this attempt is useless.' Elise added while Riven got out of her seat and clumsily made her way to the door, followed by Ellie and Hayden on the other side. He was surprised how comfortable the silk was to move around on, soft to touch, but clearly strong and resilient enough to hold massive weights. From the corner of his eye, he saw Riven try to steady herself and throw a set of blue glowing items towards Elise's and Zyra's direction.

The runes? Where did she summon them from?

His question was answered when a soft green glow drew his attention. Riven's broken sword, laying on her lap, ready and waiting. Zyra raised one of her hands and slowed the runes down mid air, at the same time broadcasting her again transformed forearms, with dark green stripes running all the way to her elbows. Both her and Elise had focused one hand on the group of webs that Elise had started to transform, already having a small opening in space the size of a small hand. Beyond it, what looked like a swarm of little red eyes tried to peek through, scuttering around. Ellie yelped slightly when a set of hairy legs slowly crept over the edge of the portal and one of Elise's trademark spiderlings started to materialize in the room.

While the arachnid creature crept further into the room, the intensity of the created gateway started to increase and draw his attention. Hayden felt strangely attracted to the ominously coloured portal, as if it focused its aura on him, like an unmoving eye, staring at him. The sounds of the engine and the people started to fade and fall away, and he vaguely felt his scar pulse, bathing his cheek in a shivering heat. With an immense amount of effort, he tried to lift his hand and check it out, but although he tensed all the muscles in his arm, no more than his fingers twitching happened. Whispers of no audible notion started to lurk at the edge of his consciousness, and he was sure he felt similar to this state before.

Recognize the feeling?

A cold, raspy whisper sounding right next to him, speaking directly into his mind. Hayden knew all of this was alarming, but he slowly felt the same chained feeling drag him down into his mind, just like as had happened back in the hotel room. Panic started to fill his mind, but he still was frozen in place by the simple presence of the impromptu portal. Being held prisoner by its influence, nothing around it was even visible or mattered anymore. Only its presence mattered, and he somehow felt urged to approach it.

G-Get closer? No, I-

A sharp, heavy pain hit him in his stomach and pushed all the air out of him. Hayden's whole vision blurred and his world completely turned over, the voice and aura completely disappearing from his mind. As reality slowly kicked in seconds later, he found himself laying down, hovering in the middle of the cabin. It took him a bit to realize he had fallen on the set of webs he had been leaning on before. Now that his vision started to return, he noticed a strangely recognizable, soft green glow, blurred but very close. Confused, he raised his hand to inspect it, but a smaller, callused hand immediately took hold of his hand and held it down with a firm grip.

I know only one small hand with such strength…

'Riven?'

He was surprised by the sound of his voice, sounding rather raspy, as if he hadn't spoken in a long time. Riven didn't immediately respond, but he could see her appearance get more clear as she bent over and placed the green glow on his upper chest. He felt his ribcage disagree with the unexpected weight of what she put on him, and he tried to get a better look at it. As the outlines of the object became distinct, he realized it had been her sword's trademark glow he had been seeing. With his curiousity sated, he slowly lowered his head again. Feeling the hard edge of its blade gently push against his cheek felt strangely comforting, and he noticed Riven's grip loosen, probably in response to his arm relaxing.

'It's okay, Hayden. Nothing happened.' she now said in her soft voice, but he could see her crimson eyes keenly focused on his every move. 'Can you move? Stand?'

Before he could try to move any limb, the plane started to tilt into a normal angle, alarming Riven. Not explaining herself, she quickly put her blade behind her back again and reached for him, lifting him up like a toddler.

'Retract your webs, Elise!' she urged, nearly jumping towards Hayden's seat.

'I'm on it, dear, don't worry.' Elise sounded behind Riven's back, accompanied by the swishing sound of the webs retracting to their creator at high speed. The ex-Noxian seemed satisfied by Elise's actions and turned back to Hayden. Quickly walking through the cabin, she put him in his seat and lowered herself so she got on eye level with him. Riven gave him a quick slap on his cheeks with both her hands and made sure his eyes met hers.

'If the mercenary woman returns, which I'm suspecting she'll do now that the plane is levelling again, just act as if you're suffering from the unsteady flight, okay? Your eyes are slightly purple, but it'll probably fade soon with the portal gone.'

He wanted to try and assure her all was fine, but the combination of the strange event and the blow to his stomach only allowed him to nod. Her dark irises showed a simultaneous concern and battle-ready glow taking in his response. It almost made him feel on some kind of battlefield in his half awake state. Now that the engines returned to a regular, almost soothing noise, he had to heavily resist just laying his head to a side and rest, not wanting to deal with this concerning state right now.

Yet, after a brief set of moments filled with anticipation and constant humming of the plane, the hissing sound of the cabin door opening confirmed Riven's earlier suspicion. Kanami was surprisingly silent as she entered the room, her steel blue eyes just observing them. After going over the room one time, she lifted an eyebrow.

'I was going to apologize for the turbulence, but the more we experience it during the flight, the more of you seem to enjoy getting up.' she spoke up.

'Gotta live the adrenaline life.' Vi smirked, giving Ezreal a friendly punch to make him move. Ellie noticed her intention and smiled.

'It was kind of fun seeing you do barrel rolls.'

Ezreal snorted at her remark and Vi cracked her knuckles menacingly, but it was obvious the gesture was meant jokingly. Kanami didn't react and just moved her gaze to the seated Hayden.

'Seems like it wasn't fun for everyone.'

He felt it was his turn to react and just meekly shrugged.

'Guess the tumbling of the plane got the better of me this time.'

-'Which is a pity, since I actually need you right now.' the older Meyer sister replied. 'Well, you or Ellie.' she quickly corrected herself. Ellie looked up in surprise.

'W-what's going on?'

Kanami folded her arms, leant against the doorframe and turned to her.

'Nothing serious, a small slip on my side. I just wanted to inquire whether you had a specific spot within the storm that you want us to drop you off. The area around our home is not possible since it's within reach of the storm's edge and makes landing risky.'

-'Is the house alright?' Ellie gasped, brilliant eyes filled with concern.

'Don't worry, it's just the winds. The house should hold fine.' Kanami responded calmly. Hayden had to smile at her very pragmatic way of soothing Ellie.

'Any ideas?' the mercenary unfalteringly continued, looking at both of them turn by turn.

'...We could try to land in the forest close to my place? If it's in the clear.' Hayden suggested. 'It has some open spots and is pretty wide at some points.' he added, ignoring Zyra's eyes burning into his back. Kanami looked over to Ellie for her opinion, who then nodded. After that, Kanami pushed herself off the doorframe, looking ready to take action.

'Well, then you come over to the cockpit and point it out to me, since I don't know where you live currently, seeing as you moved out way after I already left home.'

Not waiting for his answer, she walked up to him and offered him a hand. 'Can you stand?'

He noticed Riven making a small gesture as if to stop him, and saw Elise very subtly cover Zyra's concerned movement by taking the redhead's hand and suddenly paying much attention to comparing both their nails. Ellie also moved forward and worryingly moved her hands.

'I-I can also go and check, he doesn't have to-'

Hayden had to smile at so much care for his well being and just smiled, waving their concern away.

'It's okay, I need some movement anyway...thanks, though.'

-'You can also join if you want, no restrictions on only one person along in the cockpit.' Kanami dryly commented, getting tired of Hayden's waiting and pulling him up anyway. 'See, you can stand.'

Zyra immediately moved up as well, forgetting about keeping calm altogether. Kanami raised one brow.

'Sorry, honourable passenger, but I'd like to keep the amount of non-affiliated people in the cockpit to a zero, unless we have no other choice. We'll be back soon enough.'

Zyra briefly pursed her lips, but eventually took the safe route and just leant against the wall. Kanami nodded in approval.

'Alright, let's go.'

She stepped aside and firmly pushed Hayden towards the door leading to the inner parts of the ship, pulling Ellie along after him. 'Just walk straight ahead, cockpit is all the way at the front, no detours needed.'

Hayden blinked a bit to get himself going and moved past all the different hatches, stocks of weapons or technological gadgets he encountered, towards the big door at the end. Kanami quickly moved to the front to unlock it, making it slide into its frame in the wall with a typical hissing sound. Coming into view, the cockpit was actually quite large, with two people at the control sticks and a third checking several -at least what he expected to be- radar waves at an intricate looking device.

'I brought navigation, boys and girls.' Kanami dryly stated, gesturing for Hayden and Ellie to walk up to the window.

'What in the world…' Ellie gasped, seeing the stormfront they had been experiencing for the first time. Hayden had to admit he shared her expression, looking at the view spread out before them. A massive colon of stormwinds surrounding them, ominously stationary, dark and seemingly endlessly going upward, disappearing into a cracked sky.

'Looks strange, right?' one of the pilots, a blonde woman, commented in a surprisingly warm voice, noticing their expressions. 'Like some kind of unmoving wall of hurricane winds, a storm called upon by gods.'

-'Well, we managed to tame it, so that means even gods can be bound by rules of nature.' Kanami brushed it aside. Get us to an open view of the place, our two navigators work by sight.'

'Aye aye, Avenger.' the female pilot smiled, while the aircraft started to move through the clouds again, shivering as the storm winds started to push and pull at its hull again.

'Is it really safe to go into the winds again?' Ellie doubtfully asked, not trusting the noises.

'We're remaining on the edge, we weren't planning on crossing the stormfront again, just relocating within the center. Not risking running into our stalking buddies again.' Kanami reassured her, pointing towards an opening within the clouds. A second later, they breached the last clouds, and the familiar looks of their hometown at night spread out beneath them came into view. Ellie's eyes lit up in excitement and she grabbed hold of Hayden's arm.

'Almost home!' she smiled. Her excited behaviour worked contagiously, making him grin as well.

'You can grin more when you have your feet safely on the ground again. Where to? And don't hesitate, the longer we stay in visible air, the riskier it gets, even at night.' Kanami interrupted, calling them to order again. Hayden quickly got to the subject again and pointed to a large dark zone in the north.

'That's the forest over there. The lights on the east side are the streets bordering to it and part of my district. There should be some quite open spots left in the forest from some previous...storms.'

He hoped the accidental pause he made while thinking back to how those open spots in the forest actually emerged wasn't too noticeable, but luckily Kanami was more interested in landing than him needing to find his words.

'Alright, you heard him, time to go and drop the payload!' the black haired woman ordered. The ship was set in higher gear and sped towards the forest, lowering altitude as they approached it. With the dark of the forest taking in more and more of the view, Hayden felt his shiver and brushed it off as anticipation and excitement about landing rise, but after just a second, he realized his shivering was not created by it. The more altitude the plane lost, the more the shaking of its frame intensified, until lights on the control panels actually signaled they were nearing high pressure zones.

'What's wrong?' Kanami quickly inquired.

'We're pushed back up..by something. It seems to be just the air, but that should be impossible…' the female pilot explained.

'Give her a good push, she can handle more.' the older Meyer sister ordered. The blonde just shrugged and calmly tried to force the plane down. Kanami let her eyes slide to the two of them standing there.

'Did you know anything about this?'

Both of them shook their heads in almost perfect synchronisation.

'T-the reason we had to call for you is the lockdown of Maine, we didn't know about the storm.' Ellie added. Kanami just looked at them for a second longer and shifted her attention to the plane again. After a minute of creepingly slow descent, the plane came to a standstill midair.

'Any more and the hull might crack.' the pilot dryly noted, ticking on the control panel showing parameters. A completely superfluous act, since the whole ship was already trembling to its core because of the unknown pressure forced upon it.

'Move up again to a safe zone!' Kanami ordered, walking towards the data panel. 'What the fuck is going on…'

Growling, she rechecked all the ship's statistics. 'What do the outside detectors say?'

The third person shook his head.

'Everything else is normal for being so close to a stormwind. It's just that...gravitational-esque force tha-'

His answer was being interrupted by a forceful knock on the door, followed by Elise's muted voice, calm and as sensual as ever.

'I am fully aware you didn't want any more honourable passengers to enter the cockpit of your prized bird, but we might have information about the current problems your ship seems to be having that could help...So either you let us in, or come out and discuss things here.'

Her tone left no room for negotiation, making Kanami frown.

'She sure thinks highly of herself, that one.' she said, looking at Hayden and Ellie sideways. The brunette just smiled in apology.

'Sadly she often also knows what she's talking about.'

-'Seeing the situation, I'll take the bait. Let's see what she has to say.'

She pushed Ellie and Hayden towards the door again and turned to the crew. .'While I go and see what the woman has to say, try to move her elsewhere and see if the problem resurfaces. If so, immediately return to the forest and stay out of view.'

The order got acknowledged trice as the door opened again and the three stepped outside again. Elise stood waiting outside, with Zyra and Riven in her wake. Her expectant expression turned into a small smile when she noticed Kanami's disagreeing demeanor.

'How delightful of you to set aside earlier suspicions and accept our request.'

-'Necessity knows no law.' the mercenary simply answered. 'Although you're not helping your doubtful position by suddenly having information about a situation that seems to break laws of nature right after it pops up, you know?'

-'That seems to imply you are here on grounds of suspicion, darling.' Elise smoothly replied, earning her a glare from Zyra.

'That might just be up to debate.' Kanami coolly answered in an ambiguous tone. 'Now get on with it. What is this, what do we do against it?'

Elise chuckled softly at the pressing tone of oldest Meyer sister.

'What it is...is rather difficult to explain and would sound unbelievable to you, unless you still believe in whatever gods and magic your civilization probably used to worship in less technological times.'

Kanami just raised a brow in disbelief.

'What the actual fuck, woman? You told me you'd explain this situation, yet you're beating around the bush even more. Get your story straight or I'll be tempted to just throw you out of an airlock.'

Her voice was perfectly level, but the tone of her words were dripping of cold sincerity. Elise raised a dark coloured nail in response, drawing Kanami's attention in again.

'Yes, I know that answer can't be satisfying, but we can get on to breaching it faster like this. And we'll do that with...this fine lady.' the mage smiled, putting a hand on Zyra's shoulder, who glanced away quickly. 'After all, showing is better than telling.'

-'I'm still not too sure about this, Elise.' Zyra softly commented. Before Elise could reply, the ship started to shiver heavily once again. She smiled and clapped her hands.

'Ah, splendid timing. I figured you'd try to descend on a different location, and this will just add to my words.' she added, aiming her grin at Kanami. ' You'll have the same response anywhere within the stormfront. Unless, and here "show and don't tell" comes in again, we give you a hand. You'd throw me out of the airlock, right? All the better, because we'll need some fresh air and a view of the forest for this to work.'

-'Wait-' Hayden started, slowly figuring things out, but Elise didn't give him a chance to interrupt.

'You wanted me to explain, dear, very well, I will. The ship is hitting that forcefield because the area within the storm is rejecting your ship. We suspect the storm is acting as a connection field between your world and another. Your ship is obviously from this world. Since the area discards your ship, it's theorized to be from the other. We can possibly breach the edge and force a connection between the two, because you have beings aboard from that world. Us.'

Kanami's expression had been sceptical as Elise continued, but by the end of her monologue, she just had a monotone, ice cold gaze.

'You are actually bonkers. You want me to believe fairy tales? Other worlds? Dimensions? Go back to the cargo hold and never talk bullshit to me again, you lunatic.'

Elise just sniggered and smiled, flashing her teeth. Her canines quickly grew in size, turning back into the fangs of her usual state. Following them, her eyes shifted back to the glowing crimson colour, shimmering ominously in the dim light of the ship's corridor. A ripping sound came from her back, as her shirt snapped through the force of her four spider limbs growing out of her back, extending in size until they came to a rest around her head. Kanami automatically reached for the gun at her hip, but halted when she saw none of the others react surprised.

'Don't tell me off when I do my best to inform you about your situation, girl. Didn't I say it would seem unbelievable to you? Here's your proof.' Elise spoke, still sensually, but cold and with a hint of her spider form's echo.

'Show, don't tell.' she smiled again. Kanami turned around and caught Ellie trying to avoid her gaze.

'So I take it this was part of the circumstances that were difficult to explain? You and I will need a serious talk after we get you on the ground again. Same counts for you, Hayden.'

Hayden had been taken aback by Elise's complete revelation of their situation, but sighed.

'I...expected as much. Eventually.'

Elise clapped her hands shortly, calling them all to attention again.

'Leave explaining of the details for when we have landed again. We don't know whether our pursuers might still be able to find us, be it by chance or via another way to track us, so let's get moving! Zyra, be a dear and get your flower power blooming. Kanami, you get us as low as possible above the forest and open a window, door, airlock, whatever, as long as it's big enough for us to see the forest below us properly.'

-'And why's that?' she cautiously replied. Elise pointed a slender finger at the redhead next to her, whose eyes already started to glow golden in the dim cabin light again. The green locks of hair detached from her hairline and reformed into the leaflike attachments, while green covering spread further down, growing over her neck, branching off towards her arms and chest. Kanami just blinked once when sets of bright red coloured leaves sprouted from Zyra's shoulders, making a comical sight since she still had a shirt on.

'...I'll admit this is beyond my field of expertise, but nonetheless I'd still like you to inform me about your plan of action, so I can at least help you accordingly.' Kanami finally spoke up while Zyra stretched her now green arms.

'Professional attitude. I like that.' Elise nodded. 'Well, our flower girl here is, as you might suspect, proficient in handling plants. We'll have her command the trees down below and let them reach up, take hold of the plane and pull it down. If it works well, the connection of her magic will lift the forcefield and you can descend freely.'

-'And if it doesn't?'

Elise ticked her finger against her chin for a bit.

'Then we'll just have to force it.'

Kanami narrowed her eyes.

'Meaning?'

-'Probably resorting to some heavy duty magic. But let's not get ahead of the situation, shall we? You have that airlock ready for us?'

Kanami sighed and reached for her earpiece again.

'Saber, try to keep us as low as possible. And relay this to the crew: don't be surprised if unusual things occur in the coming minutes. It's our cargo helping us to the ground.'

While she was talking, she walked forward and curtly signaled Elise to move aside. When the mage curiously complied, Kanami moved further into the corridor, to a next door, continuing her message. 'Yeah, I'm not joking. I wish I was. I don't know about the specifics either. Tell Archer to gather any possible data, who knows.'

She gestured them all to follow her and moved her fingers from her earpiece again.

'This is where your claims turn into reality or you turn into forest fertilizer, woman.'

-'Feel free to call me Elise. And you can always throw me out if you still won't believe it.' Elise sniggered. 'Although I suspect you said that to save some dignity more than anything else.'

Kanami just clacked her tongue.

'On to business. Ellie, Hayden, you come over here.'

She pointed at one of the walls. 'Safety measures.' she answered their questioning faces when they both walked over. Surprisingly gently, she fastened Ellie to the wall with a safety belt.

'And you too.'

Without room for complaining, she gave Hayden the same procedure. It made him smile that she still hadn't lost that caring side to her.

'What about us?' Elise outed, feigning concern.

'You better beg that other world of yours for good balance.' Kanami dryly denied her as she pressed a button on the wall. 'Careful for the outside winds.'

A hissing sound filled the room, and the floor started to tremble as the wall next to them split open, slowly giving way to the night sky. The two parts of the airlock moved further down and up their respective sides until the whole wall had retracted. It gave them full vision on the forest below them. The warm summer air came blowing into the cabin, sending their hair fluttering.

'Seems the stormfront can't reach here yet.' Kanami noted.

'Like the eye of a tropical storm.' Zyra surprisingly added, walking up to the edge.

'Well then, honourable guest,' Kanami began, gesturing to the dark forest below. 'Work your magic.'

-'You're surprisingly interested. Are you not afraid or suspicious?' Zyra inquired, stretching her arms and inspecting the dusky woods with her luminescent eyes. Kanami just gave her an ambiguous gaze.

'I have had enough dangerous situations and persons around me to not mind the danger you claim it is. As I mentioned before, if there's anyone I'd want to keep out of harm's way here, it's Ellie and Hayden. But if you cross that line…' she tapped the backside of the gun at her hip to add to her statement. Zyra smiled at her steadfast attitude.

'Don't worry...if anything, we're on the same page there.'

She spread her arms forward and concentrated on the trees below, drawing their attention and power. Kanami, although previously stating it didn't mean much to her, watched attentively. Hayden had to admit the sight was quite strange even for him, seeing Zyra in her original form with clothing on, like she did the best worst job at trying to hide her true self. On top of that, she looked quite out of place, standing on the edge of the aircraft's opened hull and stretching her arms into the empty air. For Ellie and him, who had already seen the Champions fight in real life, the moment was rather thrilling, but it might as well just look ridiculous to Kanami.

There was a short, filled silence where nothing happened. A few seconds that seemed to stretch endlessly and made Zyra's silhouette against the dim night sky seem separated from the rest and almost lonely. Then, a strange sound filled the air. Complex, warm tones, like whispering in a slow, inviting rhythm that urged the listeners to sway their heads along with it.

'What is…' Kanami frowned, trying to figure out how such a soft noise could be heard above the sound of the engines.

'That's...her language.' Ellie spoke up, moving her mouth along with the strange overtones of the Kumungu speech. Now that she mentioned it, Hayden did indeed feel like Zyra's voice was present in between the multitude of tones. He turned his head away from the redhead's frozen silhouette and peered into the dim forest. The forest was no longer still and waiting. All the trees were moving, swaying their branches and leaves along in the same, hypnotic rhythm.

'It's the trees.' he whispered, captivated by the magical sight. 'The forest is singing...'

-'Amazing.' Elise smirked, but not being fully able to hide being impressed. 'She's a true queen of the forest after all…'

As the strange music of the forest continued, the nearby trees started to stretch upwards, growing out their branches and slowly approaching the aircraft. Elise shifted her attention to the mercenary standing amidst them.

'How's that disbelief coming along, dear? You're keeping it together pretty well.'

Kanami remained silent to Elise's comment, keeping her eyes keenly fixed on the branches closing in.

'They are going to pull us down to the ground, I assume?'

-'I do think that's her plan, yes.' the Spider Queen affirmed. Kanami acknowledged the answer and reached for her communicator again.

'Saber, tell the whole crew to not try and take evasive actions against the branches, they're here to help us down….Yeah, don't ask me. I'm just a beholder at this point too.'

Ever so slowly, the branches neared, and as they approached, Hayden felt the song of the forest resonate heavier in his head, as if the trees carried the music through their wood. He blinked a few times and rubbed his temples, trying to distract himself from the otherwise soothing sound. Ellie looked his way with a examining look, but he gestured her he was alright.

'Here they are.' Elise stated, smiling to the first branch snaking its way around the plane's hull. As carefully as a mother would caress her child, the group of boughs covered their vision, making Kanami visibly distressed. When the outside view was reduced to a few openings between the branches, they suddenly halted.
For a few seconds, all sounds stopped, and Kanami was about to walk towards the still seemingly frozen Zyra, but a small shiver through the aircraft threw almost everyone off balance.

'You should turn off the engines and make sure everything is set up for landing.' Zyra suddenly spoke up, not turning her head. Kanami let her eyes slide to Hayden, who softly nodded. She took a deep sigh.

'If things go wrong here, I know a few people who'll get a bullet delivered point blank.' she -grumbled, moving one hand to her communicator again to relay the command.

'Iya Zheyo Eyuni hige.' Zyra responded in the otherworldly overtones of Kumungian, with a snicker in her voice. 'I'll keep that in mind.'
Slowly, the aircraft trembled a bit more as the lifting power transferred from the stopping engines to the branches surrounding it, but it remained stable. A few tugs rocked the plane, as if the trees wanted to test their hold. Then, the hypnotizing music suddenly continued, and the plane noticingly started to move downwards. The branches creaked and shivered, but slowly started to pull the plane down.

After a number of agonizingly slow and tense seconds filled with just the cracks of the wood and trembling the downwards movement created, a deep noise and a final tremor lightly rocking the plane signaled they had reached the forest ground. Kanami released a held back sigh as the branches started to shrink and make way for the wheels of the aircraft to actually hit the soil.

The winds and dim night light of the outside returned as the branches fully retracted and took the forest's song with them. Zyra lowered her hands and slowly turned around, her golden eyes shimmering in the dark.

'Worked my magic, as promised.' she simply stated, last traces of Kumungian overtones leaving her voice. Elise gave her a small ovation at her words with a smirk, also focusing her eyes on Kanami.

'...You indeed kept your word. I can appreciate that. And I will not deny I am at a complete loss here. This is truly unlike anything possible in this world. Solely for that, I should probably approach you both with the biggest care.'

She sighed curtly and let her eyes shift from Zyra and Elise to Hayden and Ellie. '...But something tells me that won't even matter.'

Zyra quickly looked the other way and Ellie grinned when she noticed Kanami was specifically addressing two of the four, but Kanami tapped her hand on her hip once.

'I'll keep my end of the deal too, my word is set in stone. I'll drop you off and let you go free as agreed.'

She walked over to the still seated duo and began unbuckling them. 'But in return, you tell me what's going on.' she went on, sternly, addressing the two of them. 'And if you don't want to tell me as mercenary, tell me as your sister.' she added, surprisingly gentle. Ellie smiled in defeat and nodded, joined by Hayden.

'Let's go over it while we get off the plane.' he replied, standing up.

They had explained the whole situation as comprehensible and detailed as possible to Kanami while the others all exited the aircraft and stretched their limbs after the flight. Kanami took it without much questions, just letting them talk. She crossed her arms when they had finished their explanation and gave them an ambiguous look. With her icy blue eyes still fixed on them, she let out a small sigh.

'Alright. Judging by what we've seen just now, I can't exactly retort to any seemingly ridiculous points in your story. That aside, this is obviously a heavy burden on your shoulders.'
A brief pause.

'Too much for two students, I'd say.' she went on. Kanami briefly averted her eyes, seemingly considering things.
'I'm in.'

Ellie blinked once, thinking she'd heard wrong.

'Wait, what?'

Kanami just gave her a serious look.
'I'm saying that I'll support you. I'll be on standby. Call me whenever you have problems with any organization or fear for any violence that may ensue.' she said in a firm tone. Then, she paused shortly and her voice softened a bit. 'This is kind of out of my level of expertise, but I'm not going to leave my dear baby sister and practically-baby-brother alone in this. I-We can be there to provide backup. You're not alone.'

Both Ellie and Hayden looked at each other and back to Kanami for confirmation, still abashed by the notion that the hardened mercenary would help just like that. Kanami tilted her head slightly, seemingly confused.
'What? You look like you've seen a-'

Kanami's sentence was cut short by Ellie jumping on her and taking her in a hug, taking deep sighs of relief and happiness. Hayden just shook his head.

'I-I don't know what to say except for a massive thanks, listening to and believing our story and offering help…'

Kanami hissed a little bit, softly trying to push Ellie away.

'Don't exaggerate this so much, you're making it look like way bigger than it is-Ellie, you're a living suction cup, now I know why I left home, for the love of...'

The younger Meyer sister smiled at the shift in topic and released Kanami.

'Let's go and inform the others!'

-'You know the way back now, hopefully.' Kanami gestured, making Ellie walk off towards the cargo room. 'I'm glad to see she's still her typical self through all of this.'
Hayden smiled at Kanami's surprisingly hearty tone.

'I don't think that side of her will ever waver.' he shrugged.
'And I don't think you'll ever dislike that.' the mercenary countered, breaking into a small smile. 'Alright, let's move!'

She gestured the others to move along, Elise being the first to react. She made her way to the door, but turned her head right before disappearing into the hallway.

'I hope you fully realize what you're getting your crew into, dear.' she noted with a hint of amused warning, her eyes glowing to emphasize what she was suggesting at before turning to the door and following in the wake of Ellie.

After everyone had left the aircraft, Kanami got up from her resting spot against the wall of the ship. She briefly let her eyes trail over each of the "cargo" members and unexpectedly showed a small smile.

'I'll let you off with the funfact that you're by far the most exotic cargo I've ever transported.'

Vi let out a big laugh at that unexpected remark and even Zyra coughed to hide a chuckle. Kanami quickly spoke into her earpiece and walked up to Ellie and Hayden. She brought one hand down onto one of their shoulders, looking at both of them in turn. Behind her, the Valkyrie started up its engines again, making clear what she had communicated to the crew.

'This is where we part.' she said simply, but in a rather warm tone.

'For now.' Ellie quickly replied, taking hold of her sister's hand.

'Hopefully for a long time.' Kanami corrected her, her voice serious again. 'The less you'll need me, the safer the situation will be.'

She quickly ruffled through Ellie's hair and moved her focus to the others of the group, namely Zyra and Elise.

'You all better protect them. If I ever get to hear you inflict any harm on these two, I won't hesitate to drive a bullet even through a sorceress' head.'

Her tone was somewhat playful, but was clearly built upon a foundation of a honest threat. Elise just grinned.

'Don't worry, dear. It might not seem like it, but our dear wildflower is quite fond of her. Go off in your metal bird in peace.'

Zyra coughed again, but probably not to hide a chuckle this time, and Kanami showed a small smile. She jumped up the loading door of the cargo hold and took hold of one of the handles on the wall. Again focusing on Ellie and Hayden, she brought two fingers to her head in a greet.

'Stay safe.'

Right after her words, the engines revved up again, and the wind that built up made any continuation of the conversation impossible. The aircraft slowly started to ascend, and as the cargo door was closing, Hayden felt the steel blue eyes of the elder Meyer sister fix on him one last time before the ship gained altitude and forward momentum, steadily removing itself from their view. The sound of its hum slowly faded into the winds, and a silence fell over the group.

'Quite the flight back, wasn't it?' Vi broke the slight repose, looking at their two guides. Ellie nodded a bit absentmindedly, still looking at the sky, but Hayden's attention had shifted to Zyra, who had wandered off to the side of the clearing. He quietly followed her, already an idea about what could be bothering her. Catching up, he found her softly caressing the warped trunk of an old, withered vine.

'Let the past rest, Zyra.'

-'Funny you choose this situation to address me so formally.' she replied, both of their voices perhaps more cautious than intended. 'Did you let her land here on purpose?'

He approached her and put a hand on her shoulder, making her tense up a bit.

'No..of course not. I had another clearing in mind, a naturally made one, but she must've seen this one as the one I had in mind, since it is way bigger. I-I didn't think of it. Sorry...'

-'You could in a sense say this one's naturally made as well.' Zyra scoffed, tapping the plant in front of her. She looked up at him, and he could almost see her golden irises trace over his scar. She sighed briefly and turned around again.

'But it's okay, Hayden. I should actually be happy here, right?' she started, her voice strangely firm. She moved her hand over the old, withered vine, and it shivered, creaked, shrunk and shifted under her undeniable magic over it. The plant transformed completely, from a weary, dusky and brown trunk to a vivid, green myriad of small vines spreading out. On top, a big lily with crimson and white petals proudly turned towards its creator. Zyra turned around again, showing a warm smile he thought she'd never show unless she was very sure no one else was around.

'This is where you saved me, after all.'

Before he could react, Zyra seemed to notice the group behind him, probably turning some attention to them now that they had isolated themselves for a little while.

'If anyone asks, I-we were examining the plants, got that?' she firmly ordered, grabbing him by his shoulders and making him turn around. He quickly laughed, both by her response and by the fact she clearly seemed to be in a positive mood again.

'I clearly saw a plant with the cutest smile, that's for sure.'

Zyra just growled at his remark.

'Lovebirds done?' Vi smirked when they rejoined the group.

'Are we?' Zyra unexpectedly replied, turning to Hayden with the hint of a smile. The Enforcer just blinked for a moment and started a slow clap, clearly surprised.

'Damn, wildflower, that might just be the most forward I've ever seen you!'

Hayden also laughed at the unexpected bluntness, but quickly looked around to address everyone.

'So, now that we're finally here, welcome to Ellie's and my hometown, to begin with. Operation Verthandi', he started, putting emphasis on the last set of words and focusing on Ellie, 'is in its last stage, where we triumphantly walk the last bit of the road towards my house, and then we'll see about the difficulties of getting everyone a proper place to sleep. So, follow me!'

He pulled Zyra, still close to him, along with a surprised yelp to get the group going and lead the way for them.

'Pull me along more gently, will you?' the redhead remarked as they trekked through the forest, rubbing her wrist for measure.

'Sorry, you were too cute.' he smiled, instantly silencing her halfhearted complaint.

'Idiot…' she sighed, looking up at the trees and turning silent for a bit. '...Soon we'll be at your house again.'

He could hear the happiness in her voice, unable to suppress a smile himself.

'We sure will. Looked forward to it?' he grinned, taking her hand and holding it gently this time. Her breath halted a split-second in surprise, but she relaxed surprisingly fast.

'Yeah. Back home.'

When they reached the edge of the forest, the real gravity of the situation hit them. With the cover of the trees gone, they could clearly see the wall of winds surrounding the village, strangely fixed and sending an eerily muted howling noise their way.

'...Were you really sure no magic previously existed on your planet, Hayden?' Ezreal spoke up after all had halted to look at the unnatural view.

'Not as far as we know, for sure. All just superstitious belief and fear of the unknown.' he grimaced, feeling the surrounding storms emanating an aura that made him uneasy. 'But well, that fact was already shattered as soon as you all appeared here.'

He wanted to continue, but felt a pull at his arm. When he turned, he saw Ellie with a serious look on her face.

'Let's get home first. Please.'

-'R-Right.'
The rest of the walk home was mostly animated by Hayden and Ellie trying to shift everyone's attention from the winds, giving the newcomers information about the city and pointing out specific buildings like stores. In the end, they reached Hayden's house faster than expected, ending up on his doorstep rather quickly.

'Watch him having forgotten his house key now…' Ellie chuckled as he was searching his bag for the door key.

'I'd just call Sarah, pretty sure she has a spare somewhere.' he shrugged, too tired to make a quick retort. 'Gottem.'

He fished the item from the bag and quickly opened the lock with a satisfying click. Turning around, he slowly opened the door and gestured for everyone to enter.

'Guests first.'

-'Why thank you.' Zyra chuckled, heading in and leading the way for the others. When they all were inside, Hayden followed and closed the door behind them. To his surprise, he noticed everyone was already taking off their shoes, probably following the example of the three people already used to the house. With a quick smile, he did the same. Before he was ready, he saw Ellie and Zyra already opening the door to the living room and casually walking in.

'Hey, you're removing the purpose of me presenting the house like this, you know?' he yelled after them.

'You're making it sound like you're selling real estate!' Ellie laughed back at him. 'Besides, if you still try to argue either of us three don't know the ins and outs of the house yet, then I'm going straight to bed in yours.'

-'Hey, wai-' Zyra's voice joined in, but turned silent evenly fast when she noticed she fell for it. Hayden chose to just ignore further escalations and turned to the remaining four waiting Runeterrans. He coughed briefly.

'So, welcome to my house.' he grinned, spreading his arms. 'Let's go.'
Gesturing towards the living room, he took the new guests on a quick tour through the house, quickly trying to get them accustomed to the building. After having shown the newcomers through the ground floor, a confusing feeling spread through him halfway the upper floor, as he started to realize he was casually guiding four Champions around his home, on top of the ones already staying there. He rubbed his temples, judging the calmth after the whole Maine adventure and the exhaustion were getting to him.

'A bit too much to take in, dear?' Elise's sensual voice pulled him back, finding the black haired woman next to him and the others looking waitingly. Apparently he had even halted walking.

Vi noticed his exhaustion too and nodded. Without waiting for him, she gently -for her demeanor- tapped his shoulder and pushed him back towards the stairs.

'Let's get settled down so we all can get some rest! Further explaining can wait till tomorrow.'

Back in the living room, they found Riven and Ellie preparing mattresses in the open middle section.

'Thinking ahead, huh?' Hayden smiled, getting a thumbs up from a broadly smiling Ellie.

'Thank god we left all the gathered mattresses here after those all-nighter parties months back, because the beds would be packed otherwise.' she commented while Zyra walked in carrying cushions and blankets.

'Assuming you already accustomed girls sleep upstairs, this is still a somewhat tight fit for four people... ' Elise commented. 'Hayden, dear, do you mind if I move stuff in your basement?'

He had to blink a bit at her request, connecting the dots.

'S-sure, that's fine, but are you okay with sleeping there?'

Elise's eyes flared up in a crimson gleam.

'Next to a woman, I'm also a creature of shadows, sweetheart.'

With a smile that showed her fangs, she turned around and waved goodbye. 'I'm flattered by the concern, but I think I'll call it a night now. Goodnight, dear host. Don't let the bed plants bite…'

Zyra slowly rolled her eyes at the comment while the other mage disappeared into the basement. Vi snickered and placed a hand on Hayden's shoulders.

'You should do the same, Hayden. Let wildflower accompany you to be sure and get some rest.' she said unexpectedly motherly. 'Come on, we'll make do here.'

Vi pushed him towards Zyra, who heard her comment and took Hayden's hand without a word, leading him towards the stairs.

'Rush of the last days finally getting to you?' she said softly while ascending, giving his hand a small squeeze. He rubbed his temple with his free hand and sighed.

'Yeah, I guess. Shouldn't be too unexpected, probably…'

'Come.' she gently urged him when they reached the first floor, holding open the bedroom door. 'I know a good remedy for that…'

He heard her voice, very close. He looked up again in surprise, and immediately felt the soft touch of her lips on his as she took him in a long, gentle kiss, softly hugging him. When she let go, Zyra sighed and he saw her look at him with her eyes decorated with golden drops and showing the warmest smile.

'God, I needed that.' she sighed in a satisfied tone. Hayden smirked at her blunt display of lust and pulled her in again for another kiss, brushing through her hair and making sure to hold her very close.

'Make that two.' he added after pulling back. Her eyes showed a brief surprise of his immediate return kiss, but she smiled, raising an eyebrow.

'That was a pretty intense kiss, I have to say. You like it when I'm engaging, or what do I make of this?'

While talking, she gently pulled him towards the bed and made him sit down with a tap of her hand, quickly caressing his cheek in the movement.

'Who knows?' Hayden teased, leaning back. 'Want to find out?'

Zyra halted for a second, eyeing him with golden eyes of affection and biting her lip for a bit, but she shook her head.

'You're severely tempting me, but you need sleep, Hayden. I can feel it, see it in your eyes.'

She sat down next to him and gave him another quick kiss. 'But I'll make our sleep extra comfortable, how about that?'

Zyra's words made him realize how tired he actually was again, and he nodded. Zyra smiled warmly and helped him out of his shirt.

'What a devoted lover I'm having today…' he grinned, although he knew he was bad at hiding his feeling of comfort at her actions.

'Pfft. I can be a caring woman too for the people I hold dear, okay?' she complained while taking off her own shirt. 'You made me realize all this after all…' she muttered behind the fabric.

'Hmm?'

-'Nothing. Just reminiscing.' Zyra smiled, opening the sheets after taking off her pants and gesturing for him to lay down next to her.

'So what is your extra comfortable plan?' he inquired after joining her under the sheets, both left in underwear.

'Nothing special.' she smirked. 'Just some good old sharing of body heat.'

Before he knew it, she already pulled him closer and took him in another deep kiss, pressing herself against him. To his surprise, he felt her bare breasts press against his chest with their warm softness.

'The plant bra disappearance trick again?' he laughed softly when their lips parted again.

'Don't tell me you don't like it…' she said smugly. 'Actually, since I'm still in that caring mood and know you're quite fond of my chest…'

Not finishing her sentence, she pulled him down and planted his face in the warm embrace of her breasts.

'How's that for comfort?'

He laughed again and planted a quick kiss on the breast closest to his mouth, enjoying the soft caress her chest enveloped him in.

'I love it. Best cushion around.' he returned her tease. Zyra laughed as well and softly brushed through his hair.

'I love you, Hayden. Thank you for everything you've given me.'

Warmth rushed through him at hearing that loving, sincere tone in her voice he knew only he would ever hear. He folded his arms around her back and pulled her that bit closer, feeling her heartbeat so close through her chest.

'Welcome home, love.'

In response to his answer, Zyra started whispering Kumungian words full of love while caressing his hair, and he quickly fell asleep to the soothing rhythm of her voice and steady heartbeat.

Sleep is healthy, remember that, kids. Which is also what I am going for after uploading this at this god forsaken hour in my time xD
Also, for the possible readers that know I have picked up FGO in the meantime, the references in the chapter had already been set in the concept phase before I had even properly approached FGO since I'm just a degenerate~

Well, not much more to say, I hope it was enjoyable again and hopefully a bit making up for that long waiting time D:
With this, the Maine arc is actually finally brought to an end, and we can shift into a new part next time~ (aka stay tuned this is totally not a ploy to keep you here trust me)

Time to reply to the kind readers who left comments!

Alsodef: Nick writing smut, what is dis?

Also I am not only just now reading past the very memorable Christmas Special.

Noooo, I'd have kept up way batter than just read a chapter at every one of your bi-yearly uploads, obviously...

Don't forget the laundry detergent.
Shitposting smut* but hey, if it works~
The Christmas Special was arguably the biggest fiesta to have yet spawned from my mind, but damn was it a joy to write, glad to see it appreciated xD
And yeah, how dare you possibly not have kept track of my very tight and fast update speed, I'll know where to find you if not.

And bringing the laundry detergent in that case

Freak666chaos: Hey! Good to have you back!

The plot gets more intense, i wonder who is following them...

keep up the good work
Well, I'm back again, just a bit late as always xD I hope I can get to the more intense parts soon tho, thanks for the continued support!

Zesturia:Eyyyyyy

I managed to catch up quickly. I remember reading this story a while back. But oddly enough didn't get any notifications. Glad to see I didn't miss a lot though.

Elise hands down is my favorite character so far. That being said I generally like the other champs too. I'm rather interested on how she'd react to Evelyn. Especially since their personalities seem to be quite similar. I'd feel bad for the party if she was introduce however. Zyra for sure wouldn't be a huge fan of a sex demon tagging along. She already gets teased enough as it is by Ellie.

(Cutting it off here)
Those "no notifications" might have been fanfiction thinking "oh, he doesn't update anymore anyway" xD Nice to hear you like Elise, I love writing her too and her outspoken personality really gives her own atmosphere to whatever she's involved with :D and gods forgive if Eve would be around, not sure if Zyra could handle that xD or she gets a sadistic streak and uses it to train Hayden's healing capacity…
Well, for the pursuers, I'm of course obliged to not reveal anything, but I like the guesses and shenanigans haha

For the assassins, I've been toying around with the idea of a more cold and calculated character's introduction, and from how she initially responded to Elise, we can be sure Ellie would be rather drawn back and a bit scared of the likes of Talon etc. (but then again as you say Talon might be the odd one out, tho I don't specifically ship him with Quinn, even I have to admit they share a niche so interactions could be interesting)

Shityamumsayscom: mint finally got in an meh if walking dead final season (game) gets cancels nuthin can be more disappointing aye
Rip man, I haven't kept track of the games, but I hope they either released it either way or you got a good thing in its place D: (NieR:Automata is a personal suggestion hue)

WorthlessAce: -Make Hayden train his powers! XP
- Have you seen the new Runeterra map? Riot has recently published it. You should add it into your story as well. Like;

"Hey El"-"Yes?"-"Have you seen the map Rito published?"-"Rito has published a map?!"

Its all interactive and very detailed. I highly recommend you to look at it.

- An update. Hell yeah! I hope u will update before 2019
Not gonna lie, a training arc is a very expectable thing I'd say, gotta stay true to our clichés, right? And yeah I saw the map by now, the thing that was most memorable was the damn Yordle village constantly moving xD And I'm sorry man, that update failed big time :/

SIR OWL: OH boy this took me by surprise,

also you now have to explain to all the people in the train why someone at a godawful early time can be this happy.

On a quick sidenote.

Now that zyra is in her normal form isnt it time for some bdsm?
Dayum giving me flashbacks to randomly cracking up in public when reading something stupid and then just having to avoid the stares, sorry my man xd And well, who knows what they'll get to try out when they're in certain moods?~

GasaiKid115: Hey glad to see you back not gonna lie I missed this story . Hope things are going better and I like the mystery in this one I think it's another champ but we shall see. Until next time I'll be waiting also did a good job with kanami
Well, that waiting kinda ran out heavily, didn't it? xD I'm glad to hear you like Kanami though, some people early on were kinda against her, but I pushed her through so here we are~

GasaiKid: Picture this:

PRESENTING RAKAN, AS THE KING OF KITCHEN!

AND XAYAH, AS THE QUEEN OF FREELOADERS!

:v

Zyra: how big is the voidling?!

Elise:... category 5...

Vi:...hehe, that's impossible because the only category 5 voidling we know is...

(Baron Nashor screeches)

Vi:...Fuck

(cutting it here)
I'd like to see Rakan cook...chicken. Would they be enthusiastic cannibals or throw a dancing tantrum?

If anything, they'll at least have lesser troubles finding Baron if he does pop up, rite?

Next morning Ezreal wakes up all shriveled up and barely hanging on, and ends up getting either a beating or a laughing at from Vi for being the victim of Ahri (rip his balls either way)

And fuck man I don't even know what to retort to this, this is actually fitting and that is possibly the scariest part of it all o.o

Januszym:

Holy... holy shit, that exists?! I didn't even remember you story still existed. Brings back good memories.
Yeah and experience now shows that it's not getting much more than 'still existing' xD Tho i'm not dropping it, so there's that. Glad to hear you have some fond memories of it tho:3

Tourvelix:

See you next year OMEGALUL
It's the next year man, the time is right LUL
Btw see you when you publish a chapter that contains more than half a page's worth of words OMNIKRONLUL

Thanks again for all the people who keep loyal to the story even tho my update rate is absolute shit, I love you all no homo
Enjoy life and music out there:3
ADamnGoodName out~
