A/N: What starts with Levy ends with Levy!

Ahhh, the last chapter. :) Well, here you go!

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail nor Cinderella.

Three years later…

The carriage rattled down the road. It was a fine carriage, clean, with the royal insignia painted on the sides. Levy- now Queen Levy Redfox- glanced out of the window. She smiled. It was a nice day, with the sunlight filtering softly through the clouds. The woman looked down at her ring finger, adorned with a simple yet elegant wedding band. So much had changed since that fateful day in her room. Levy sighed happily, lost in memory.

Suddenly, the carriage stopped. She tensed, grabbing her purse.

"Your Majesty?" the guard rapped gently on the window.

"Stuart? Is something the matter?" she asked nervously.

"Nothing, Your Majesty. We have arrived." She relaxed. The man opened the door and Levy stepped out.

She was greeted by an old man, who kissed her hand excitedly and bowed low.

"Your Majesty! What a pleasant surprise! Welcome to the city of Crocus!"

She smiled softly. "Why thank you, Duke." She nodded politely, clasping her hands.

"I hate to cut this short, but I have some business to attend to. Stuart?" They walked back to the carriage.

After a bit of a drive, they cantered to a stop at the city jail. "My- my lady, you can't mean that your business is… here, do you?" the guard asked warily.

"Oh yes, I have a matter to settle with… Farmer Harvey Brown?" she said, reading off of a slip of parchment.

"No! Your Majesty, with all due respect, this is a jail. It would be unwise to send yourself in there- Your Majesty!" But she was already walking into the building.

"Stuart, it's perfectly safe! Besides, I can defend myself." Skirts swishing, she disappeared through the entryway.

Stuart sighed, and headed after her. The queen never ceased to surprise him.

Meanwhile, Levy stopped in front of a certain jail cell. The man inside was middle-aged, with dark hair and well-worn clothes. He rose. The men in the cells around him silenced.

"Well, I'll be. Your Majesty herself has come to visit old Harvey Brown. To what do I owe this great honor?" he said mockingly, bowing low.

"Mr. Harvey Brown. It's a pleasure."

"I see you're living lavishly. Dresses in the latest fashions. Slim skirts, eh? My daughter was raving 'bout it. Seems you've saved her a pretty penny by cutting down skirt sizes."

Levy smiled. "I do love to save money."

But the man wasn't finished. "I'll bet you arrived here in a fancy carriage, and that the dress you be wearin' is worth more than all the Duke's land." He leered. "All that and more for a girl who got lucky."

Levy stiffened. "Now, now. I'm not here to make small talk, Mr. Brown. I would like to talk about your sentence."

Now it was Harvey's turn to pale. All his fighting spirit drained out of him. "Wh-what about it?"

"I understand that you are here for insulting the royal family?" she asked coldly. It was dead silent.

"Why, I-"

"Answer the question, Harvey."

"Yes, Your Highness."

"And what exactly did you say, Mr. Brown?"

"I didn't-"

"Answer me."

"I said…" he licked his lips. "I said that the royal family was trash and that the queen was the dirtiest of them all."

"What else?" By this point, Stuart had found his charge and was watching in awe.

"I- I said that you were just trash the king found on the street and that he was a f-fool for marrying the queen."

Levy looked at him. "Mr. Brown. Do you know the charges for treason against the royal family?"

"No, Your Majesty."

"It is death."

"Wai-"

"I'm not finished." She gave him a cold look. "I was a poor girl, who wasn't worth anything. I was enslaved for seventeen years, waiting for a way out. But I was still a lady. My husband is not a fool. In these last three years, he has made treaties with countless nations, stopped wars in other countries and paid back the debts his father had left behind in full. Taxes have gone down, our nation is in an era of peace, and you're complaining about who he married three years ago?" she yelled, eyes flashing dangerously."

"I understand why you say I am trash. I was a poor girl who didn't have any worth in this world. But to insult my husband, your king, is unforgivable."

She grabbed his shirt collar and yanked him against the bars in a surprisingly forceful grip. "All this is worth a death sentence from the court. But you have a full family to live for, and I am a reasonable person. So let me tell you this: should you ever, ever insult the royal family again, and I will not hesitate to sentence you to death. Am I clear?"

"C-crystal, Your Majesty." The man choked, clawing at the bars. She released him, all her anger spent.

"Very well. Good day to you, Mr. Brown." With that, she whisked out of the room.

"Your Majesty, that was impressive." Stuart gasped, enthralled.

"Thank you, Stuart." She smiled. "Hopefully that man learned his lesson. Jealously is a horrible thing."

Suddenly, he gasped. The horses and carriage were gone. In his haste to run after his wayward queen, he had not tethered the horses to anything.

"Your Majesty, I-"

"Not to worry." She said, eyes gleaming. "I shall run to the palace."

"No, I can't let you do that!"

"Nonsense! It is only a mile or so away." she unclasped her cloak, handing it to her guard. "Please hold this for me. I shall meet you at the palace!"

And she ran.

"Lev?" Gajeel looked up, startled, as his wife burst through the doors with a wild grin on her face.

"Hello, Gajeel." She pecked him on the cheek. "I'm back early!"

"Yeah, you are." He smiled and took in her disheveled appearance. "What've you been doing? Weren't you on a diplomatic mission?"

"Yes, well, one thing led to another and I decided to run back home." she said sheepishly.

"From the Land of the Endless Flame?!" Gajeel said, startled.

Levy rolled her eyes. "No, not from Natsu's lands, just from Crocus."

"Gihi. That's my girl." He said, rumbling out his signature laugh.

"Hey, Gajeel?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"L-love you too, Lev."
