Naruto sat in the speeder beside Mace, shifting somewhat as he looked across Coruscant. Feeling the wind in his hair, he found the flight through the world relaxing. The idea that he had no control still made him uncomfortable, but he suppressed it as much as he could. He needed the speeder to get closer to wherever Senator Chom was.

Rubbing his hands together he considered his options. If Quinlan knew he was a Jedi, but didn't know exactly who he was before forgetting everything, what did that make him? He was running purely on emotions; wild, uncontrolled. No, not uncontrolled; unfocused. Naruto had used his emotions to fuel his decisions on more than one occasion, and knew that – when used correctly – emotions played a large part in just how strong his abilities could become.

Flexing his hands against each other, he sighed. "So, we just, show up and say hello when Quinlan shows up?"

"No," Mace said, tapping on a few controls to bring up a video feed. It showed things from a rather confusing perspective, showing Quinlan and someone else as they piloted their ship to the planet's surface. "I already spoke with his crew member. He's set up a link between his droid and a recording system so that when the senator speaks, he should uncover all the wrong doings he's committed."

"You sure about that?" Naruto asked, grimacing as he looked at the recording. "Seems a bit flimsy to me. How can you be sure he'll even talk about it?"

"It's a running theme with a lot of people you'll come across." Mace smirked faintly, recalling a few such people who'd believed themselves to have already overcome an obstacle, only to walk face-first into a trap. "The more ego you have to protect, the easier it is to lure the person into a trap."

"Huh." Naruto muttered, idly wondering how many such people Mace had encountered with this attitude. Looking back at the two on the imager, Naruto found himself slowly leaning forward more as he looked between them. They – no wait. Something didn't feel right. Scrunching up his face, he cocked his head to the side before he glanced to Mace. "Where's Aayla?"

Mace sighed, giving his head a slight shake as he focused on the sky lanes before them. "I don't know. According to the reports I received on Ryloth, she was in Pol Secura's palace when Quinlan showed up and assassinated him, but beyond that…"

"So, we have a missing padawan on top of all this?" Naruto's eyes widened, turning to Mace with wide eyes. "Why aren't we working on that first?!"

"Because we don't have proof that Aayla isn't with her master." Mace said, exhaling softly. "Otherwise we'd be sending someone to Ryloth. Wasting time on things we don't know won't help her if she isn't on Ryloth."

"We can't call Quinlan and ask him?"

"He hung up the last time I tried to speak with him."

Naruto quirked a brow, perking up a bit more. "You called him already?"

Mace nodded. "I tried to tell him to return to the Temple, but he hung up on me and is continuing on his path to assault the senator."

"And, why is he focused on that again?" Naruto asked, crossing his arms as the stared at the screen.

"I don't know." Mace said, shaking his head. "But we cannot allow him to kill the senator. Even if he has done all these things claimed, taking justice into our own hands is not the Jedi way."

"No, it isn't." Naruto muttered, eyes distant as he thought about that. About the information Vima Sunrider had told him about her time, and the few other things he'd been able to read up on from the holocron Dooku had given him. Both had spoken of old times, times when the Jedi had been law enforcement, and had basically sounded as though they were the law enforcement. But after all the years, it made sense that there were changes made eventually.

Right?

=-x-=

As they arrived at the warehouse area, Mace and Naruto set themselves up in the shadows as they waited for Quinlan and the senator to show up. While they waited, Naruto slowly began to squirm, moving into a crouch as he eyed the building around him.

The building was a large building, as all buildings on Coruscant were wont to be. However, this was just below the Upper City in Lower Coruscant, just out of sight from normal enforcement. It made for a cleverly placed hideout for one who would have to go to and from the upper levels of Coruscant.

Shortly after they arrived, a high-classed speeder landed near the entrance, and a white skinned Twi'lek exited the vehicle; Chom Frey Kaa. Unlike most Twi'lek, he had four lekku – their head tentacles – and one finger missing on each hand. Still, he moved about with a confidence that Naruto could easily place from the Senate building. There was simply something about the stance and way it seemed to draw the person stature upwards that screamed to Naruto what he was.

However, the fact that he was here didn't mean he was corrupt. After all, anyone could come down to the lower sections of Coruscant if they so wanted. People of less moral nature simple seemed to flock there more predominantly. Thus, Naruto waited, crouched over as he leaned toward the Twi'lek, trying to see more of the room.

It took some times before Quinlan showed up, and when he did, Mace had to place a hand on Naruto's shoulder to prevent him from jumping down. Rather than arriving with his dignity intact, and his normally strong presence before him, Quinlan was unconscious, stunned, with his hands bound behind his back. It was a humiliating stance, and Naruto quickly restrained himself. Not yet.

The only thing that made it worse was that he had several B-1 battle droid bodyguards. Naruto would have imagined less people using them after the fiasco on Naboo, but clearly some people simply didn't learn the first time. Idly, Naruto rubbed his fingers together, letting small arcs of Force Lightning move across his fingertips to give him something to relax and concentrate on rather than the events transpiring right in front of him.

"So, this is the one who's been causing so much difficulty for my people? This, half-Jedi?" Chom muttered, almost spitting off to the side in disgust. "I would have imagined someone more prominent from amongst the Jedi, not this nobody."

"Well he caused plenty of problems, clearly." The Devaronian, Vilmarh, shrugged as he glanced to the waking Quinlan. Beside him, an orb-like droid floated beside him, keeping an unusually close eye on Chom. "Still, he's clearly not a nobody if he caught your attention."

"Clearly." Chom huffed, watching as Quinlan awoke. "So, you live?"

"Chom." Quinlan muttered, glaring at the senator. "So you really were behind it all."

"I suppose you could say that." Chom said, chuckling softly. "Pol was an excellent executioner of the idea, but he never would have had the idea to do it without me. Of course, he was the one to introduce me to your smuggler friend here. Without him, none of this would have been possible."

"Vilmarh? What did he do?" Quinlan asked, almost deadpanning as he gave Chom an unimpressed look. Clearly Vilmarh had done other things already with a reaction like that.

"Why, who do you think got the spice spider eggs to Ryloth to begin with? You know they are born on Kessel, so we had to import them secretly. Your pilot did an admirable job of it as well, getting quite a few to our little planet before you poked your head in and attempted to ruin it all." Chom scowled, then smirked as he chuckled. "But then, he was also the one who transported you offworld to Nar Shaddaa as well." Glancing to Vilmarh, he grimaced. "A job you've clearly done a terrible job at."

"Hm, well yeah." Vilmarh said, shrugging as he pulled something from the back of his belt. A lightsaber? "But then, Quinlan's helped me out more than you have recently, so I think I owe him a bit more than I owe you anything."

With a casual flick of his hand, the lightsaber landed in Quinlan's hands. With a snap-hiss, the blade cut through his bonds and Quinlan moved to his feet. An angry, dark aura surrounded him, like that of a specter as he began to move forwards.

Chom, panicking, stumbled back in alarm. "Shoot him! Shoot him!"

Most of the B-1's turned their blasters on him, firing immediately. It was clear from Naruto's view that Quinlan, memory gone or not, retained more than enough skill to deflect blaster fire and take down the battle droids one at a time. Each one let out a startled yelp, with one even turning tail to run before being dragged back into the fray.

"Oh no, not again." The final B-1 said, turning his blaster away from Quinlan. "Can't we just talk it out?"

Naruto blinked, watching as Quinlan lashed out with a quick Force Push before it could do anything more. It had…wanted to talk? A battle droid that had wanted to do something other than blast first and ask questions later? Clearly there was something weird about some of the B-1's. Then again, most of them were extremely quirky, and seemed to malfunction in odd ways.

Watching Quinlan turn to Chom, Naruto caught on to what Quinlan's thoughts were. Standing, he moved forwards quickly, throwing back his hood so that Quinlan could see his face as he entered the light. "Vos!"

Quinlan paused, glancing from Chom to Naruto. "…who…" He blinked slowly, staring at Naruto in confusion. "I know you. I can't…" Grimacing, he gripped his lightsaber tighter, staring at with a scowl. "Why don't I remember you?"

"We met once when you helped me out on Tatooine." Naruto said slowly, watching Quinlan's face contort again in frustration. Clearly the memory loss wasn't helping the poor guy, as he struggled to get ahold of himself. "I'm Naruto, friend of Master Jinn and Obi-wan."

"Obi-wan? I – I remember…is he here?" Quinlan asked, glancing around for a second. Then, scowling, he looked past Naruto.

"Vos." Mace said, following Naruto out of the shadows. "Don't do this. Striking down senator Chom will only lead you down the path of the dark side. We already have Chom's confession. You don't need to do this."

"No. I need to do this." Quinlan said, glaring back at Chom. "He's the reason all this happened to me. To Pol. To Aayla."

"So Aayla's not with you? Where is she?" Naruto asked, stepping forwards, moving to set himself between Quinlan and the senator.

Eyes beginning to heat with a rage, Quinlan glared at Chom. "She's broken like me."

Roaring, Quinlan turned to strike down Chom, anger overflowing to the point of bursting. He could not contain it, could not control it, and all there was left was for him to unleash it. With a single blow he brought his blade down, and found only air and the stinging flash of yellow in his eyes.

Naruto reappeared a second later beside Mace, Chom in his hands as the cowering senator scrunched inwards and attempted to fend off the blow. Taking a deep breath, Naruto turned to Quinlan. "Don't ever make me do that again." Wincing, he rubbed his chest gently, feeling the strain of two immediately successive teleports straining his body. It would handle it though; it always had. "Did you not pay attention to Mace at all? You –"

Whipping his arms upwards, lightning arcing across them as he wrapped his arms in Force Weapon, he caught Quinlan's next sudden blow across his arms. Staring past the glow of Quinlan's lightsaber, he could see the pause and then sudden shock of his actions, as well as Naruto's defense.

"…not cool." Naruto muttered, drawing on the Force to throw Quinlan back. As Quinlan flipped head over heels with his lightsaber deactivating mid-flight, Naruto slowly moved forwards. Flexing his arms, he noticed a small burn on the sleeves of his arms. If he'd been even a second slower his arms would not have had even a chance to catch that blow. Shrugging that off, he continued forward. "Again, did you not listen to Mace at all? He just said that striking down Chom was a bad idea."

Quinlan rolled to his feet, glaring at Naruto as his connection to the Force became wreathed in the dark side. "He has to pay! For all he's done, for all he did to me and Aayla, he has to pay!"

"And he will, but it can't be by your hand." Naruto said, trying to remain calm. Staring down Quinlan, he shook his head. "Don't even try it. I've fought four more dark siders than you ever have. I can take anything you throw at me."

Behind him, Mace perked up. Four? Was Naruto counting himself, or Mace in that? And was he counting Zealot twice as well? Suddenly, Mace felt a dozen new questions about Naruto popping into his head. Immediately though, he dismissed them. All that meant was that Naruto's understanding of the dark side was simply stronger than he'd anticipated, and that this battle was already over.

Quinlan lashed his hand out, Force Lightning arcing towards Chom, trying to skirt around Naruto towards him. Naruto held out his hand, catching the lightning in his hand and he drew it towards the center of his hand. Watching as the lightning arced across his hand, Naruto shrugged.

"It tingles, so you got it right." Naruto said, concentrating on the color of Quinlan's Force in the lightning. With a soft push, he made begin falling apart, moving down the lightning to Quinlan before suddenly shorting it out. "…I've simply had more time to know it better."

Staring at his hand, Quinlan blinked, the lightning that had come from his hands a second before shorted out. Glaring at Naruto, he drew on the Force and lashed out, seeking to shove Naruto out of the way. Once again, Naruto simply used the Force to redirect it in every direction outwards and away from himself, much like he had against Maul. Rendering the attack useless, Naruto raised a brow.

Naruto paused, recalling Elymas words. "Do you know your weakness? Your pride." Naruto's instinctive response to that attack was 'anything else', but suddenly that sounded so…arrogant. Still, if Quinlan did have something else, he could deal with it, couldn't he?

No. He could, but he didn't want to. Taking a deep breath, Naruto stared at Quinlan. "This won't help Aayla."

"Don't you say that." Quinlan growled, reactivating his lightsaber. Rushing forwards, he attempted to strike at Naruto again.

This time Naruto was more prepared, hands whipping around with Thunder Blades in his hands as he blocked Quinlan's strike. When Quinlan began moving for more, Naruto delved into Vaapad, drawing in Quinlan's anger, his frustration, and his dark side.

It was surprising how little it affected him. He could feel it, he understood it, but it was so easy to brush aside as he used it to fuel his own attacks. Moving in Niman's stances, the Vaapad mindset helped Naruto become an electric blur; only the hum of the Thunder Blades any indication as to the fact that the seemingly singular strike was actually a series of strikes.

Quinlan was immediately on the defensive, forced to defend from Naruto's strikes as he roared, trying to draw on more of the Force to empower him to overwhelm Naruto. However, with each increase of the Force he drew upon, Naruto simply matched it and kept going. For those looking in from the outside, it was like watching someone attempt to stop an unstoppable force by becoming unstoppable themselves; only they had fallen so far behind from the very beginning that it was clear they were fighting a losing battle.

While Mace didn't entirely approve of Naruto's actions, as they were far from the more pacifistic ways Mace himself would have used, he slowly began to realize something. Despite the aggressive attacks, Naruto never continued the attack beyond striking to keep Quinlan from moving forwards. It was only when Quinlan attacked that Naruto moved. It appeared hyper-aggressive due to simply how much he was willing to use in retaliation, but in contrast, none of Naruto's strikes were aimed to harm Quinlan in any way. He was in defensive, focused, and in complete control of himself, the battle, and in a way, even Quinlan himself.

Waiting for Quinlan to tire himself out, Naruto stared at Quinlan with an open remorseful expression. This was not the proud, amazing person he'd met on Tatooine. To even call him a shell of that man almost felt an insult. "What happened? What…what changed you like this?"

"He did." Quinlan hissed, grimacing as he fell into a defensive stance to wait on Naruto's next attack. When it never came, he clenched his teeth. "Because of him, I lost my memory, my padawan lost her memory! I only know who I am because of this lightsaber."

"Psychometry?" Naruto blinked, grinning slightly. "I didn't know you knew that too. I had to practice a lot to learn it, since I wanted to understand things better."

Quinlan paused, slowly deactivating his lightsaber. "You know psychometry?" Seeming to shift in place, he glanced from his lightsaber to Naruto. Then, with a casual toss, he threw Naruto his lightsaber. "Fine. Look at what I've been through, and tell me if I'm wrong."

"Naruto." Mace said warningly, sensing the darkness in Quinlan's intent. "Don't –"

"Alright." Naruto said, ignoring Mace.

Delving into the lightsaber's past, Naruto hummed softly, letting the Force guide him back through its 'history'. He made sure to keep his eyes locked on Quinlan so he didn't think he could simply rush him, or do anything to that extent. No, he would keep control of the situation for as long as he could.

The memories the lightsaber held had more than a few that Naruto would later admit he hadn't expected. The interactions between Quinlan and Aayla, the way the two had worked together before Ryloth. The events of Ryloth, and of Quinlan's attempt to get Aayla to remember who she was; watching her dressed like a slave, then seeing her attempt to Force Push him out a window. Feeling sorrow and pain as he watched – from Quinlan's perspective – Aayla rush down to her fallen uncle, the only man she could remember, and weeping for him.

Biting his lip, Naruto tried to force himself to focus back on the present. Seeing Quinlan's face, he straightened himself more. Quinlan perked up, seeming almost eager to hear Naruto's words. Slowly, Naruto shook his head, tossing Quinlan his lightsaber. "I'm sorry Quinlan, but this man doesn't deserve to be killed." Feeling Quinlan's rage flair slightly, he continued. "He deserves for people to know of his crimes, to be judged and put away. He let Pol make a slave of his niece, and that alone is enough for me to want to see him brought to justice. But the right justice. The kind that will force him to think on what he's done and know that the only person he can blame for them is himself."

Quinlan stared at Naruto, seeming to remain heated about the entire thing. Then, slowly, he relented. Letting himself deflate and release the dark side, he stared at Naruto with a pained expression. "Alright…now what do I do?"

Mace stepped forward, staring at Quinlan with a stern expression. "You need to come back to the Temple, to be retrained so that you can control your darkness better. If you go out the way you are now, you will be susceptible, and could fall to the dark side."

"I can do that." Quinlan said, glancing off to the side. "And, I will. On one condition. You have to find Aayla and do the same for her. If I'm in a state such as this, I can't imagine how she is doing…"

"I'll do it myself." Naruto said, nodding to Quinlan. "I owe you for your help on Tatooine after all. You may not remember it, but I do. I'll take care of it."

"Naruto." Mace said, getting Naruto to glance at him.

Naruto rubbed his forehead. "I know, I shouldn't go running off, but…I owe them. I need to do this."

"…actually, I was going to say that we don't have any ships leaving just yet." Mace said, smiling faintly as he placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder. "But, when we have one readily available, you can go to Ryloth and retrieve Aayla Secura."

Quinlan and Naruto both stared at Mace, seeming to need a moment to think before they bowed to him. Of the two, Quinlan was the first to speak. "Thank you, Master Windu."

"Um, yeah." Naruto said, straightening and scratching the back of his neck. "About that. I…might have a faster way."

Mace paused, narrowing his eyes at Naruto suspiciously. "And what's that?"

Glancing to the side, the three Jedi slowly looked to Vilmarh. Realizing all the Jedi attention was now on him, the Devaronian suddenly held his hands up. "Whoa, uh, no. No I don't think so. I already hauled Quinlan around galaxy already. I'm not adding another Jedi to my cargo hold."

"I'm not really asking…" Naruto said, motioning between him and the Senator. "I mean, he did implicate you in the brining of the spice spiders from Kessel to Ryloth."

"That Jedi already said I wouldn't be charged for that!" Vilmarh said, pointing his finger at Mace.

Mace nodded. "Yes, for helping us get the confession recorded on your RT six hundred, we wouldn't charge you for the smuggling charge." Mace paused, seeming to consider something for a moment. "The charge of kidnapping a Jedi Knight though…"

"Oh come on!" Vilmarh said, throwing up his hands. "I did nothing wrong here!"

"No." Mace admitted, shaking his head. "We won't charge you for that. However, consider this a favor that you could perform for us."

"I don't do favors. I get paid for my work." Vilmarh said, glaring at Mace heatedly. "Working in the Outer Rim teaches you that lesson all to quick."

"Oh come off it Vimarh." Quinlan said, glancing to the Devaronian with a wry smirk. "The main reason you were fighting with me on Nar Shaddaa was because you bet that I'd get off the planet."

"Well, yeah, because you were." Vilmarh snorted, shaking his head. "I don't gamble on things that I can't win. You were better bet than betting you wouldn't get off planet."

"Look," Naruto said, getting mildly annoyed by the Devaronian. "I just need you as far as Ryloth. After I find Aayla, I'll be fine, and you can go on your way."

Vilmarh snorted. "And if I don't?"

"…nothing." Naruto said, sighing softly as he shrugged. "I mean, there's nothing we can do to you after all."

"…yeah. Yeah that's right." Vilmarh said, grinning to himself as he puffed up slightly.

"But it'd be the right thing to do." The droid – Naruto could now see it was a NT 600 - floating next to Vilmarh said.

The response was a scowl as he glared at the droid. "Cursed ethics programing. No means no. We do nothing for free!"

Naruto perked up, recalling something that might work in his favor. "How about a gamble then?"

Vilmarh and the Entee turned to look at him, Vilmarh looking skeptically at Naruto. "What kind of gamble?"

"I know a way to make your trip profitable." Naruto said, slowly shrugging as he watched Vilmarh's expression quirk in interest. "But, only if you can help me find Aayla."

"And I'm supposed to believe you?" Vilmarh asked, crossing his arms. "No. I should barely begin to believe you now, so why would I believe you will later?"

"Because we kept our word about not forcing you to do more than we asked with getting Chom's confession." Naruto stated flatly.

Entee glanced between Naruto and Vilmarh, seeming to sway delightedly. "He's right you know."

"Hush! I am thinking." Vilmarh said, though Naruto could see the wheels turning in his head. Slowly, he nodded. "Fine. But it better be good profit, otherwise I am leaving you stranded in middle of Ryloth sun side."

"…that sounds painful, so, I think we can agree that it will be." Naruto said, nodding to him. "But first, we need to go back to the Temple."

"The Temple?" Mace asked, quirking a brow at Naruto.

"I've got to pick up a few things to make sure that I'm ready." Pulling on his sleeve, he motioned to the burn fabric. "I need to get a change of clothes anyways."

"Right." Mace said slowly. "Alright, fine. Vilmarh, you stay here."

"Like I'm going anywhere in a hurry." Vilmarh said rolling his eyes. "I will be here, don't worry."

Quinlan glanced to Vilmarh skeptically, but nodded to Mace as he clipped his lightsaber to his belt. "And Chom?"

"He'll be going into custody for breaking multiple laws of the Republic. He won't be getting out any time soon."

Behind them, Chom cursed to himself under his breath, mentally furious with how this all had turned out. Where had he gone wrong? What had happened to turn the tables on him? No, it was the battle droids sent by his partner, Sidious. Clearly he'd forgotten to mind wipe them between their last battle and it had cost him precious moments. If he ever got ahold of him he'd tell him. But until then he'd stand tall and face his dignity. He had to after all; if he didn't, Sidious would have him cut down faster than he ever might have thought possible.

He was no snitch after all. Yes. Yes he would maintain his pride throughout all this. If nothing else, he'd have that, and his life.

=-x-=

Sidious observed the cameras he'd set up in the warehouse of Chom Frey Kaa, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. He'd had so many ideas, so many plans, and time and again he was finding that there was little success when Naruto became involved.

Oh this part of the plan was a complete success, as Quinlan had touched the dark side, embraced it for the first time and knew of its power. But he would not hold onto it for long enough to be used with any purpose. No, not yet. He'd let the Jedi have their fun, have their moment of victory. But only for now. Eventually, they would fall, as he'd planned.

As he thought over that, he grimaced as he recalled Zealot's own successes. Not only had he taken down the Oracle, but he'd managed to elude Sidious long enough to get his own mechanical arm, rather than relying on Sidious for assistance. Where he had the money for it didn't matter. Giving him an arm made to help slow him down slightly wouldn't have benefited Sidious anyways. No, what concerned him was what he'd sworn he seen in his farsight.

When he looked into the future, he saw Zealot forming something; an abomination of Sith Alchemy and Sorcery. And in doing so, he created something both powerful, and terrible that would be a threat to his plans. A threat, but also one of the only ways he could draw away the attention of one who would otherwise deconstruct and destroy his plans.

Naruto was getting closer and closer to sniffing out Sidious plans each time Sidious attempted to look into the boy's future. Somehow Naruto had shifted with each of his choices and ended up further from where Sidious could manipulate him. Sometimes he moved back, becoming easier to control and manipulate in the future, and then he'd shift violently away.

It was maddening. Infuriating. A challenge that shouldn't have become this difficult to predict.

Clenching his teeth, he glanced to the other information he'd received. Maul was still imprisoned, and the Jedi had chosen to keep him locked up in the Temple. Useful, but ultimately he was lost to Sidious until he chose to return on his own. Typhon wasn't responding as quickly to his summons, but that made sense as Typhon was going through and 'helping' Naboo recover from the Battle that the Sith had brought upon them. Their ploy to get the Gungan's to follow him and nominate him as their new Boss had gone smoothly, to the point that the transition hadn't required him to lose any momentum.

Sidious recalled Plagueis acolytes - they were not apprentices, he already knew this. Zealot, their saboteur, had performed admirably, destroying the Oracle and several other things that had come their way. And with Plagueis new apprentice, they would have someone to act as their new 'knife in the dark' as Maul was currently unavailable to them.

Grimacing, he moved into his main room, pressing his hand to his face as he applied a Mask to hide his features. Pushing his hand up and over his head, throwing off his hood as it fell around his shoulders. Letting his façade as Palpatine return, he hung his cloak off to the side and made his way out of his hideout. Stroking his face slowly, he hummed softly as he tried to think.

"Naruto will soon be out of my control unless I act now." Sidious – Palpatine now – muttered. "I need to act fast, to get him under my thumb."

Pulling out his communicator, he paused as he considered his options. There was at least one option that would work out for him, but ensuring that Naruto didn't find out would be the far harder trick to his plan. Slowly, he relented that his best bet was to avoid a gamble as he switched it to Zealot's secret channel and sent him a message.

"Gather all the information you've been leaking on Naruto's time as the Red Lord. The things that reveal his true nature. I want them on the Holonet. All of them. Let the Jedi fear, and the galaxy know the truth of what Naruto did on Abbaji. Let them fear the darkness that is the Red Lord, and break the Jedi's last remaining trust in him."

He would come to him after that. After all, he was one of the only refuges that Naruto knew of. Yes, it would work. And if not immediately, then it would give him a tighter eye on Naruto. After all, Naruto was very open with telling him the details of his events. He didn't know everything, but he knew enough. And that would be more than enough to drag Naruto into his clutches.

Yes. He'd be patient. Soon, he'd have Naruto, and the galaxy would tremble.

AN: Oh dear. It appears that Palpatine is done playing games. But then, Naruto hasn't been playing games from the beginning, so he has the advantage.

Quinlan's part in all this is, sadly, rather limited, as Naruto's quest is meant more for finding Aayla than for playing around on Coruscant. But as those who remember this storyline, Aayla isn't on Ryloth. So where did she go? How will Naruto find her? Well, seems we'll find out –

After we do some reviewer Q&A first and foremost.

Astral trinity: Will Naruto let Jiraiya feel the Force? I think that Jiraiya might believe he already feels the Force, but it is definitely a possibility.

The epicslime: You has returneded!

How does it make sense that chakra only has been around a century? I meant to put that as 'a few centuries' as it's that verse a few millennia. Which, is clearly a lot more time than a few centuries. That was simply me getting a chapter out and not editing. Curse my impatience and not knowing any beta's who could keep up with me.

Is Boba Fett still happening? Not in the way you'd expect, but I love Boba. I couldn't just outright get rid of our favorite bounty hunter outright; just the Legends "normal" way he was born.

Guahanboy98: Is Aayla Secura dead from glitterstim overdose? No need to be lost, as I mentioned that glitterstim overdose can cause memory loss. She currently doesn't know she's a Jedi or who she was; all she knows is that the only person she knew and – as far as she knew – cared for her is dead, and that some guy came in, handed her a dangerous weapon, called her a "Jedi" and "padawan" and then killed that man. Oops.

Zeus501: Oh don't worry I know exactly what you meant. I'll consider it, but that doesn't mean it'll happen outright. But I'll admit, even a small relationship with her would be interesting, and so I'll definitely consider it begin more than just platonic.

The Jedi are being lied to by Jmmaar and are only seeing what Jmmaar is saying…right? Sorta. He's not lying, he's simply telling it from his point of view. A point of view can be a dangerous thing, as it is skewed by perspective. Jmmaar and Naruto do not see eye to eye on the matter, but that doesn't meant that Jmmaar isn't necessarily wrong either. It's just that Naruto understood more of what was going on in Abbaji, rather that the Republic.

When will the Dark Woman come back into play? She has not been forgotten, fret not. During part of this part and throughout next part. For reasons.

Will we run into Aurra anytime soon? Like with Mace Windu along for the ride? Mace is going to be mildly busy helping Quinlan Vos get his Jedi training back, so no, not like that.

Will Naruto get a rancor pup? Probably not. He's got Brutus after all.

Will Naruto get a cortosis (no second "o") blade to use against the dark jedi/sith that he seems to fight often? Well, it's considered a brittle metal, so we'll see. He might get a cortosis plated weapon, but not cortosis alone. He'd want it to be practical after all.

Gamelover41592: Wonder how his mission will go? For a Naruto mission? Remarkably smoothly. But then, Mace won't get to see the aftermath of the true Naruto mission seeing how he's going off on his own to hunt Aayla. *cackles* Mundi and An'ya are gonna be so jealous.

And that's it for reviewer Q&A. Not many to answer this time, but that's just fine. Naruto's going to go grab "something" from the Temple, ensure everything is good. What could go wrong?
