Was that worry even necessary?
Shou looked towards the horizon, on the same beach where many things had happened before. Most importantly, the spot where his brother was found washed up.
It allowed him to have this opportunity, after all.
Which brought Shou back to his own question: why was he worrying? His Vechicroid deck worked surprisingly well with Ryou's Cyber Style deck.
But Ryou wasn't going to use that deck.
And there was no way Shou should be afraid of that new deck. It wasn't going to harm his brother anymore. It was going to represent their new bonds. The one that took a long time to finally perfect.
And even if it was easy to imagine pulling out a no good card, it was easier to imagine Ryou using it to the best of it's abilities.
It was also easy to see himself use that card and put it to good use. Shou was a good duelist after all - Aniki wouldn't have had tried all those times to duel with and for him all those times if it was the other way.
Really, there shouldn't have been any room for doubt.
