Hehe it hasn't been that long since I updated this story right? Right? *Looks at last time it was updated* M-May 13th?! Um... I swear I've been working on it! I swear! It's short because my ideas have been waning! Well enjoy this chapter!
Liri poked at Shu, which wasn't very safe but she was doing it because sleeping on the ground isn't very comfortable, she didn't know what vampire standards were or how it worked. Maybe they never got uncomfortable, who knew?
He opened his eyes and examined her before smirking. "Heh, want to continue where we left off?" Liri shook her head.
"I'd rather not." Liri replied calmly, before he could say anything, another voice chimed in.
"What's with the commotion?" Liri turned and saw Reiji.
"How annoying." Liri heard Shu mutter behind her, she stood up.
"Sorry, It's my fault for it being so... loud." Liri stated, Reiji pushed up his glasses.
"I'm inferring the immature one was here." Reiji waited for Liri to reply.
"Yes but she wasn't the immature one this time, as I stated it was my fault for all the commotion." Liri said, he closed his eyes for several seconds before grabbing Liri's chin. They locked eyes with each other.
"The next time this happens, a punishment will be put into order, do you understand?" Reiji inquired.
"I..." Liri's voice drifted off, she felt confused but not about what Reiji was saying. "Understand." She said it so confidently that she mentally facepalmed herself.
After several seconds he released her chin and turned away. "Nice to have someone who knows their place." Liri looked down at her skirt, as her eyes brightened.
"Oh and one more thing, here's your pencil back." Liri pulled a pecil out of the pocket of her skirt and held it out to him. He turned back around and stared at the pencil for several seconds
"Thank you." He walked away. Liri sighed she was tired but she wanted to see if her father wasn't lying. She just needed to be capable of sneaking out but knowing that the brothers were vampires, it would be difficult. She obviously couldn't walk out the front door, so she would leave after school quickly.
Liri totally forgot today was Valentines day. She was reminded when a bunch of girls piled on the limousine.
"My goodness, the females of the school seem more aggressive this year." Reiji stated, Liri stood up.
"Hm? Is somebody going on a suicide mission?" Laito questioned, Liri reached for the handle to open the door.
"I'm not of any use in this kind of situation, there's not much of a reason for me to stay cooped up in here with you guys." Liri replied, Laito's eyes widened.
"Oh! That gave me an idea, let's go together then." Laito suggested, Liri shook her head.
"How rude, I believe I shall be the one to go with her for it'll be more believable." Reiji claimed, Liri looked down at the ground.
"This is stupid." Subaru mumbled, Liri nodded in agreement.
"He has common sense, therefore I will go alone." Liri tugged the door open then slipped out and shut the door.
"W-What?! Where are the brothers?" One girl yelled.
"I could've sworn this was their limo." Another student yelled, Liri shrugged.
"They came early today, I went separate." Liri replied, the girls gave a look of disappointment before turning away and leaving. Liri let out a breathe not having any idea why she just did that. Liri opened the door and poked her head in.
"Could it be someone helped us?" Laito swooned, Liri rolled her eyes then opened the door fully. Only to turn on her heels and begin walking towards the front door of the school.
Liri let out a breathe of relief as the lunch bell rang, she was starving. Since she didn't bring anything she would have to go buy it. Liri stood up and began walking towards the classroom door, a few of the girls seemed a little bummed out. Liri shrugged it off before exiting the classroom.
Liri was walking down the hallway only to hear yelling. Liri knew she was going to regret turning the corner but it was closest to the staircase and she didn't feel like talking to anybody. Liri turned the corner only to see Gyu yelling at Shu, probably for skipping class. Liri held her breath began to walk past Gyu then was grabbed by the collar of her shirt.
"Hey brat, avoiding people again?" Liri was turned to face Gyu only to see she was wearing glasses and her hair was dyed to auburn.
"It's not that I'm avoiding people, I'm just avoiding the conversations that come with them." Liri stated, ignoring the word 'brat'.
"Hmph, so any confessions yet?" Gyu asked, Liri rolled her eyes.
"No not yet but we both know what I obviously have to say." Liri said, Gyu smiled.
"You're gonna take their hearts, crush it, then shove it down their throats." Gyu claimed. Liri shook her head and turned away.
"No I'm going to say that I have a fiancee." Liri corrected. Gyu snickered then saw that Shu was walking away.
"I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU YET!" Gyu began lecturing him, he didn't seem very interested.
"Later then!" Liri called before being grabbed and thrown next to Shu.
"As a punishment-" Gyu started, all of a sudden Liri's mind went blank as she heard a clicking sound. "You two must be handcuffed for the rest of the day." Liri looked down and saw she was handcuffed.
"You've gotta be kidding me, I didn't even do anything wrong!" Lir argued, Gyu shook her head.
"Well 'brat', you haven't awakened yet so before that happens I need to get all my hate out." Gyu stated. Liri didn't even care about whatever the 'awakening' was, where was the Gyu she had known and loved?
"Hate? What a familiar term. Strange it's coming out of a persons mouth I care very much about." Liri spat, Gyu rolled her eyes and snickered. Liri had enough of it she was so sick and tired of how Gyu was acting. She raised her free hand, took a step towards Gyu, and slapped her. Gyu gaped at Liri. There was a clicking noise and then the sound of metal hitting the floor.
"L-Liri wha-" Gyu couldn't utter anymore words, Liri was giving Gyu a cold glare which then was replaced with sadness.
"Shocked? That's how I feel. I'm not going to speak my mind because then you should know so I'm just going to say," Liri paused and smiled, "you're an idiot and don't ever stop me when I'm starving again."
Liri's smile faded as she turned away and began walking towards the staircase. Did she regret it? No. Did she care what Gyu would think of her? No. Did anyone care about how she felt? She didn't know. She hoped that slap transferred her feelings to Gyu and snapped her out of her strange state, If that was even possible. All that mattered know is that Liri got her food on time.
