As soon as the mist came out of the crystals Skye knew something wasn't right. She felt every muscle in her body tighten up, and when she looked to see what happened to Tripp and Raina Skye saw that Raina was turning to stone like the others who touched it. All of a sudden she couldn't move, and when she looked down she saw her legs were becoming covered in the same stone as Raina and started to panic.

"Tripp!" Skye cried out as more of her skin turned to stone. The last thing Skye saw before the stone consumed her was Tripp as he destroyed the crystal causing it to explode with another wave of mist.

Skye wasn't dead however, but she wished she was. She was forced to experience the worst pain imaginable. Every single bone shattered, every muscle torn to pieces, and even every inch of DNA was destroyed, and then they were smashed back together. This happened multiple times in what she discovered wasn't stone, but a cocoon. When the pain finally stopped she felt a strange new energy pulse through her body. It was comforting and warm and all around her she felt small vibrations.

All of a sudden Skye could move her hand again since the stone was apparently falling off. She next bit to fall off was the area around her left eye, and the first thing she saw was Tripp, except he was covered in stone with part of the crystal impaled in his chest. The crystals inside of the obelisk had killed her friend, and she felt a wave different emotions of emotion. She was furious with Raina for bringing the damn thing into the temple, she was angry at herself, because if she hadn't followed Raina, Tripp wouldn't have come after her, and she was mortified one of her best friends had died. The more emotional Skye got the faster the vibrations became. In a cry of sadness and pain all of the energy left Skye's body, going into the rock surrounding her. Then without warning all of the rocks went flying in all directions away from her body. Skye saw a shock-wave destroy the rocks as well as Tripp's stone body and she saw Raina Run to hide behind the table the obelisk was on. As Skye ran over to his shattered body crying his name, in a childish effort to bring him back and hugging what was left. All of a sudden a massive earthquake started. The doors sealing the three of them in the chamber shattered. Skye saw a shadow run through one of the doors and a few moments later Coulson, who was carrying, Mac run through the one near her. When they saw her Phil dropped the other man and ran to Skye embracing the crying girl into his arms.
"Skye, what happened?" Phil asked as he looked into her red eyes.

"Tripp," Skye sobbed, "He's gone."

Author's Note: I have been trying to write this since the mid-season finale, and i finally did it! :D

I would appreciate a review, but i will post the next chapter Wednesday no mater what.
