chapter 1

An absol and her trainer were traveling through the woods on a camping trip that they just began.

"Master, are we near the mountain yet?" The absol asked her trainer.

"No violet, we should be close though." He told her as he looked down at his nap.

"Can we stop for a bit, my legs hurt."

"But we just had a break an hour ago."

"That's too long ago." She moaned as she lazily collapsed on the ground.

"You're really lazy violet, we might as well set up camp here tonight, it's gonna get dark soon." He told her as he sat down and pulled out supplies needed for making a base camp.

Violet watched as her owner set up their tent and made a fire for them, the sun was just setting and she was extremely tired. She picked herself up and dragged herself into the tent tiredly and plopped down beside her master's sleeping bag.

"I'm so worn out." She said tiredly.

"I am too, but I'm not complaining am I?" Her master taunted her as he crawled inside the tent.

"Too tired to make comeback." She said quietly.

"Jeez, you're so lazy violet." He said as he got into his sleeping bag.

"Shut up, or no treatment for you." She warned him.

"No. You can't be that cruel." He said cautiously.

"Just because you didn't make us go too far today, I'll just give you a small reward, you'll get a bigger one if you don't push me so hard tomorrow." She told him as she crawled over to him.

He sat up and her face was inches from his, she "rewarded" him by kissing him, like she always did. He gladly accepted his gift and kissed her back. Their heated kiss lasted about a minute until they stopped to breath.

"Now goodnight." She told him, a large blush on her face now, as she laid beside him.

"Goodnight." He told her with a smile as he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer to himself.

Their relationship is something referred to as "Forbidden love," people they knew would not exactly give them their blessing if they knew of their relationship. They were just like a normal couple, fought every once and a while, made up, and loved each other.

It all started with Violet just having this weird feeling about him, being that she grew up with him meant that the term of "love" wasn't explained to her. She eventually realized that she did in fact have feelings for him, she approached him one day and revealed her feelings to him. Ironically so, he felt the same way. They have been with each other for an entire year so far.

When they woke up the next morning, violet was fully reenergized and ready to go. Usually violet had something she would wear to make her stand out a bit more so her master wouldn't mistake her for another absol, she usually had a little red bow she would wear, but her mane was so fluffy and big that it made her stand out among other absol. Her master like to lay down next to her with his head in the poof of fur, he liked it a lot.

"Master is already up?" Violet thought to herself as she looked around their tent.

She crawled out of it and found him cooking something on the fire. She came and sat beside him and rubbed up against him.

"So what's for breakfast sweetheart?" She asked him.

"Fish." He told her as he held up a stick with a fish on it, he had woken up earlier to go catch them in the pond near where they were.

Violet just moaned a bit, she didn't like fish, she would eat it if she had too but she had a dislike for it. She ate it and held back any type of complaints, she didn't want to bother her love.

They both finished eating and he kicked out the fire and put their tent up so they could continue to travel. They would run across a couple pokemon who would scatter out the way, eventually she would have to battle, she wasn't the best though.

"I'm tired, I'm gonna go find some water to drink." She told her master as he sat down in the grass beside her and looked at his map.

She walked off in a random direction and listened for the sound of running water, a waterfall, or a splash. Eventually she heard the sound of a splash, she walked in that direction, making sure to remind herself the direction she had came from. Eventually she came across a large lake, a very large lake. Beside it stood a massive tree, it's trunk was bigger than any house she's ever seen.

"Wow." She thought to herself as she stared up the tree.

She drank her share of water and ran back into the direction she had come from.

"I'm back!" She said happily as she pranced into the meadow that her master was in.

But someone else was there beside him, a pokemon, one that was exactly like her. From the scent that she got, she could tell it was a female. She walked over to her master and the absol there turned to her, her tail was a red color and so was her face, her eyes were also a light blue color.

"Oh hey violet, I met another absol like you, come say hi to her." Master told her.

She didn't like the thought of another female around her mate, it unsettled her, especially her own kind.

"And who might you be?" Violet asked the absol cooly.

"Oh me? My name is Ella." She told violet, strutting off her shininess.

"Nice to meet you, now leave." Violet told her as she glared at her.

"Violet, you don't have to be so harsh, she just wanted to accompany us."

"I'm the only absol you need."

"She's just coming with us, you know that we are together, she won't interfere."

"I have a feeling she will interfere though."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure she has boundaries."

"Ahem." Ella said, cutting in.

"Right, Ella, you may accompany us." Violet's master said aloud as he stood up.

"What should I call you? "Master" or?" Ella asked temptingly, swaying a bit.

"My name's Mathew, you may address me as that." Mathew told her.

"Can I call you that?" Violet asked him, she knew his name but felt that it was impolite to call him anything else besides "master," even if they were together.

"Sure you can Violet, you didn't have to always call me master." Mathew said as he petted her head softly.

She nudged up against his leg affectionately and glanced at Ella, who looked furious.

"She's trying to interfere for whatever reason." Violet realized, she wasn't going to let her ruin her relationship.

Mathew pointed towards which direction they were going and they followed, Violet made sure to stay by his side. She wasn't going to let Ella interfere. They walked for most of the day and rested, each time Violet kept close to Mathew, even if she was tired. She was loyal to him in every way, she was willing to put in the extra effort if it meant that their relationship was stable.

Eventually it got dark and they set up camp, Mathew set up his tent, Violet sat and glared at Ella as he did.

"What do you want with him? He's mine." Violet told her.

"I want him, and there's nothing you can do to stop me from having him. No male has been able to resist me, none, be it human or pokemon." Ella gloated.

"What makes you think he will fall in love with you? When he's already with me." Violet told her.

"Oh he will, we will be together and make love, and you won't be there. It will just be me and him." Ella said, continuing to gloat.

"Mathew is smart, he's not gonna fall for your seductive tricks."

"Just you watch, don't even try to stop me, all effort in trying is useless."

"Ok, I finished setting up the tent, I'll cook some food that I brought with me." Mathew said as he sat beside Violet and wrapped his arm around her.

Violet happily nudged into him and licked his face several times, Violet glanced at Ella, she was really mad now. Violet thought of how she could get Ella to leave, a battle, Mathew telling her to leave, or Mathew confessing his love for Violet aloud while she was around?

Mathew let go of Violet and dug into the bag he carried with him, he pulled out some type of food, of which Violet never knew what it was, she just knew it tasted amazing. As he cooked it, Ella thought patiently of how she could rid herself of this absol that kept stopping her. She decided that tomorrow, she would use attract on Mathew and make him confesses his love for her, that would make violet leave.

After their meal, Violet and Mathew went into their tent, Ella told them she would sleep by the fire. Violet curled up next to Mathew and he held her next to him. She was careful to talk about Ella, she was right outside the tent and could hear her, so she whispered into Matthew's ear.

"Mathew, Ella is trying to take you away from me."

"What?"

"She wants you to leave me and go with her."

"How do you know this?"

"She's been gloating about it all day, she won't stop unless we get her to leave or something."

"Okay, I'll think about it for now." Mathew told her.

Violet laid beside him and kissed him on his cheek, he smiled and held her close and they both fell asleep. Outside, Ella plotted, she heard it all with her acute sense of hearing.

"Little bitch trying to get in my way." She muttered to herself as she slept, angry and ready for tomorrow.

The next morning came and everyone was a bit antsy, they were ready for the conflict about to happen.

"Ella." Mathew said aloud.

Violet waited anxiously and so did Ella.

"Yes?" She answered.

"Violet and I are going home, which means that we are leaving, so this is goodbye."

"No, it's not." Ella told him with a smug grin, she readied her body and posed for a second.

Hearts surrounded her body and flew towards Mathew, he didn't have time to think about what had just happened. It was already too late.

"Mathew!" Violet yelled at him, she turned her attention to Ella, who was now laughing evilly.

"He's mine now, hit the road, isn't that right Mathew sweetheart?" Ella said to them
