Danny Fenton found himself in his hometown of Amity Park. He had had a very trying past few days. After his father, Jack, had accidentally released a horde of ghosts and they had traveled to Dimmsdale, Danny had gotten a lot more than he bargained for. What with dealing with a future hybrid version of Vlad Masters and coming to learn of the existence of Fairy God Parents, it had been a rough time indeed. But he was very thankful that his friends Sam and Tucker had been there and also that he had made a new friend in Timmy Turner.

But he was most thankful for being back home and having only to deal with one problem and one problem only; school. That was the most Danny was allowed to do, as it were. His parents had grounded him for one month upon returning from Dimmsdale. They were unaware of just how much Danny had done to save that town, but that is how Danny wanted it. He didn't like to worry his parents any more than necessary, which at this point was more common since they know knew he was part ghost.

Danny was studying for an upcoming history exam in his room when something caught his attention from the corner of his eye. A small cloud had formed inside his bedroom. It was like any other cloud you would see; only this cloud was projecting an image on the front of it. Danny looked at the cloud, unsure of exactly what he was seeing. If he wasn't mistaken the cloud was projecting an image of Timmy Turner, the little boy from Dimmsdale. Only he looked like a different version of Timmy, if that was even possible.

Danny waved his arm through the cloud, but it only shimmered; remaining constant. "Uh, hello? Danny?" It was Timmy, Danny could recognize that voice anywhere.

"Timmy Turner? What are you doing in my bedroom? No less in a cloud?" Danny asked.

"Well I'm not really in the cloud, it's something my fairies whipped up. But no time for that! I need your help!" Timmy exclaimed.

"Already?" Danny asked. "I've only been home for a couple days! Plus I have a history exam to study for!"

Danny could hear a hushed whispered from somewhere behind Timmy. Timmy's attention was momentarily taken from Danny. Timmy waved his hand saying, "Yeah, yeah. Got it."

"Got what?" Danny asked.

"Never mind. Look, I normally don't ask for help but a friend of mine is in trouble and I told him I knew a guy," Timmy said.

"Is that so?" Danny asked, crossing his arms.

"It's a long and really boring story," Timmy said. "But if you, Sam and Tucker could help us out, it would be greatly appreciated."

Danny thought it over. On the one hand he had just gotten home and was hoping to get some much needed relaxation, but on the other hand he was grounded and really did want an excuse to leave his house. "Fine, but it'll take me some time to get Sam and Tucker and make it to Dimmsdale."

"Well that's the thing," Timmy said. Danny could see a look of apprehension on his face. "I'm not exactly in Dimmsdale."

"Where are you then?" Danny asked.

The same hushed voice said something again to Timmy. "My friend says grab your friends and head to the park."

Danny shook his head. "I don't know," he said.

"Trust me, you're going to want to see this," Timmy said. And with no more than that the cloud disappeared leaving a damp spot on Danny's bedroom floor. Danny began to pace back and forth, wondering what he would tell Sam and Tucker and also wondering what he would tell his parents if they found out he was gone.

Luckily Tucker gave Danny a great idea. Once Danny had called Sam he then called Tucker, albeit a little worried. Tucker said he could hack the school's computers and make it so that the entire student body went on a field trip for the next few days. That would give Danny plenty of time to get to Dimmsdale with Sam and Tucker, and his parents wouldn't be the least bit suspicious.

It had taken no less than an hour to set everything up. Danny's parents waved a goodbye to Danny, Sam and Tucker. They had all met at Danny's house with backpacks full of what they needed for the trip. They then made their way to Amity Park, hoping that this wasn't a waste of their time; something Sam loved to point out.

"Look, Timmy's a bright young kid, but who's to say that this isn't some sort of trick?" Sam asked. "Vlad knows the two of you are buddies and if he is still out there, well I just want you to be careful."

"Don't worry about me," Danny said. "If it weren't for Timmy and his fairies you two would still be in that prison of The Master's anyway."

"He has a point," Tucker said. "Although there's something that has been bugging me for some time now."

"Yeah, what's that?" Sam asked.

"When we were in that dungeon, why weren't we able to just walk out? I mean we're mortals so the Ghost Zone shouldn't be able to keep us confined," Tucker said.

"I never thought of that," Sam agreed. "I was too freaked out about being kidnapped that I didn't think to wonder why we couldn't escape like that."

"The Master probably was using the power from all those creatures to set up some sort of barrier," Danny said. "But that's over with. Something else is happening and Timmy made it seem pretty serious."

The trio had then arrived at their local park. Looking around they saw no signs of Timmy or his fairies. Danny was beginning to think this was a setup when a weird ghastly glow appeared. Thinking it was a ghost portal opening he turned into his ghostly self, but what happened next he was not expecting.

A portal similar to that of a ghost portal opened up. Quickly Danny changed back knowing it wasn't a ghost portal. A small, young man appeared out of it though Danny knew immediately that this wasn't Timmy Turner. For one the kid had a hairdo straight out of the 50's, secondly he wore a red shirt with an atom on it. Danny didn't know Timmy that well, but well enough to know he wouldn't be caught dead wearing a shirt like that.

"Who are you?" Danny asked.

The young boy looked up to Danny and his friends. "The name is Jimmy, Jimmy Neutron." He extended a hand and shook the hands of Danny, Sam and Tucker. "I am one of Timmy's other friends. He had a problem arise back in Dimmsdale so I decided to come and fetch you myself by means of my interdimensional portal."

"Is he okay?" Danny asked.

"Short of a menacing babysitter and overbearing parents, yeah, he's fine," Jimmy explained. "No we best hurry, time is running out."

"Sorry little man, but I don't want to be split into a thousand tiny pieces," Tucker said looking at Jimmy's portal.

Jimmy laughed. "Don't be absurd. My portal actually works, trust me. It'll be fine." Danny looked to Sam and Tucker and nodded. After Jimmy entered the portal they followed suit, unsure of exactly where it was they were going.
