So I thought I said what Nya was is the last chapter but I guess I didn't. My bad!

Nya's a red fox…. So yeah.

.

Oh! And I'd like to say that if you guys want to make a Fanfiction about the Hybrid AU, go ahead! You don't have to make the Ninja the same animals if you don't want to.

If you do write a fiction though I'd love to read it so send me a link!

.

Shout out to ML-AWESOMENESS for their Hybrid AU Fanfiction! It's pretty awesome!

.

I also wanted to say that if anyone was wondering what the Hybrids of the Ninja look like, they can check out my DeviantART account and see them there. The name's the exact same as my Fanfiction- Zane-Ninjago12. I have a drawing of every Hybrid form of the Ninja (and Nya) there.

.

You can skip this part if you want because this is just why I chose the Ninja as what hybrid they are.

Zane's a gyrfalcon because… of course he'd be a falcon. A gyrfalcon is a white bird that typically lays its nest up in the cold tundra, where it stays all year. So it has connection to snow.

Jay's a cat (more specifically a Havana Brown species) because the Havana Brown species are known for their playfulness. The personality fit Jay so well that he had to be a cat. Besides, he looks good with little cat ears.

Cole's a black bear because the black matches his ninja color. Bears are also closely connected to nature/earth in advertising and have great strength.

Kai's a porcupine because the quills would blend in perfectly with his hair. And he would definitely use it in battle, shooting quills at any attackers that he sees. That and it's funny to see him get all upset because he hates his ears and tries to hide them with his hair.

Nya's a red fox because red foxes are known for their beautiful red fur. They're usually nocturnal, which can help Nya when she has to stay up a little later than usual to work on the Bounty or something.

Lloyd's a 4-Winged European Dragon for obvious reasons.

Sensei Wu's a Chinese Dragon for obvious reasons.

And Garmadon's a European Dragon for obvious reasons.

"Perhaps it is best… if we go our separate ways…."

His own words echoed through his head like a weight that would never leave. He had considered it many times, but he never thought it would become a reality. But here they were… all his brothers gathered in a circle… and the slips of paper in the bag in his hand telling them where they would be going.

"I've decided to give you guys these papers… we will draw them randomly so that nobody will know where anyone else is… it will lower the chances of them getting all of us…" Zane spoke quietly. "I've written a total of ten cities…. We will all pull one and not tell the others where we are going. From there we can live and start new lives…"

The others looked to the bag then to each other. It was clear that everyone was trying to keep tears from spilling over their cheeks. But it was so hard. For the longest time the only people that everyone in the circle had talked to was everyone else in the circle. It'd take a while before anyone got used to not seeing the others.

Zane walked over to Jay and held out the bag. The cat's eyes dimmed as his gloved hand dove into it. Jay's hand closed onto a piece of paper and he drew it from the bag. He paused for a moment before looking at it and swallowing. Zane knew that if Jay's ears and tail hadn't have been bandaged they would have all been able to see the sadness through them.

Everyone had prepared themselves before walking to the circle. Nya, Kai, Jay, Lloyd, and Cole all wore hoods and bandages to hide their ears and had their tails bandaged to their torsos. Lloyd had shaved down his horns with filers. Zane and Lloyd both wore baggy hoodies and had large, thick blankets on their backs. They cold use the excuse that they were cold to hide their wings. Their wings were belted down as tight as they could go, and the two had to be honest, it was very uncomfortable.

Kai was next. Then Lloyd… Cole… and finally Nya. Zane reached into the bag and pulled out his slip, looking to it. After a moment of thought he nodded.

"So… this is it… isn't it?" Lloyd mumbled.

Zane nodded sadly and sighed lowly. "I'm afraid that it is…"

Jay tucked his paper into his pocket and held out his hand, "It was nice knowing you… I'll never forget you guys…" He choked out, tears dripping down his cheeks as he looked down. Nya sobbed and rushed to him, hugging him tightly. It wasn't long before everyone was hugging each other, Jay in the middle of the group.

After a few moments everyone backed away, tears flowing down their cheeks and noses filled with snot. They each took Jay's hand and shook it, giving him a small hug. He gave Nya a small peck on the lips and a tight hug.

"Farewell guys…" He managed through his tears. "A-And good luck with… where you're going…" He whispered, turning away from us and heading east. He got into the car that was rented for him and soon the car was out of sight.

Lloyd was next. And he cried like the child that he still was. It reminded Zane that even though the ninja looked like an adult he still had the mind of a child. All of this must have been so hard on him… Zane had actually thought about taking the boy with him… but decided it was safer to leave the boy on his own where he'd be less noticeable… "Bye guys…" he sniffed. "I'll miss you," he mumbled, walking over and climbing into his own vehicle before driving off north.

Nya was next. She was still pretty shaky from when Jay left… and she hugged everyone tightly. She broke down and cried loudly when she got to Kai- her brother. Zane didn't want to separate the two siblings in the group… but he had to… for their safety… it shattered his heart when Nya removed their mother's bracelet and handed it to Kai. With a loud sob she pushed it onto his wrist. "Please… remember me," she choked out, hugging him tightly. After a few moments she walked to her vehicle and left, heading south.

Kai stayed silent but walked up to Cole and I, shaking our hands and patting our shoulders a few times. Kai hadn't been like this in forever… in fact… Zane couldn't think of a time Kai was ever silent. And it scared him to see the hothead like this. He was probably letting all of his feelings grow… and that meant that he would lash out at whoever gave him a hard time… Kai walked silently to his car and drove away, heading west.

Cole turned to Zane, his head dipped so his hood shadowed out his eyes. Zane could see the tears flowing down his cheeks, and how hard he was biting his lip. Cole pulled Zane into a hug, laying his head onto the falcon's shoulder. Zane was the last one of the team still here… and if they separated… it meant that the team really was gone… Done forever…

"You were a great leader Cole…" Zane spoke, almost at a whisper. "But even you couldn't have stopped this from happening… You did all you could…"

Cole nodded silently and held Zane tighter, lightly squeezing him before letting go. "I'll miss you… you tin can." He sobbed, wiping his eyes and cheeks. "Stay safe… you hear?"

"I will… same to you, Cole…"

The bear nodded once more, squeezing Zane's hand before walking over to his car and climbing inside.

As the car started and began to drive away flashes of memory filled Zane's head. Zane shivered at the thoughts and swallowed. He remembered all the times that Jay's pranks and jokes had made them smile in a tough time… or all the times that Nya helped him make strategies to fight their enemies. All the times that he helped Cole make battle plans and helped him train. All the times that he calmed Kai down because everyone else was scared to try. All the times that he trained Lloyd and had to give the boy encouragement…

Zane realized something that shattered his artificial heart.

He'd never hear Jay's uplifting laugh again. He'd never see Nya's smile and shy blush again. He'd never hear Cole's words of encouragement again. He'd never train Lloyd again. He'd never have to calm Kai down when he lashed out again.

…He'd never see or hear from them again….

Zane swallowed and looked down. It truly happened… his worst fear… He was left alone in the world again… and so were his friends. At this point the rioters had won… they've separated the Ninja… and forced them to work alone.

Zane walked shakily to his car and looked back at the Bounty. He loved their home very much… and he'd miss it deeply. There were a lot of memories attached to the ship… and a lot more love. With a shaky sigh, Zane turned away from it. He climbed into the small car and turned it on.

He glanced at the rear view mirror once as he pulled away from his home.
