Friends With A Fox

Chapter 1

"Wow dudes check this out, I just learned a new trick!" a voice said in the background of the skating park. The voice belonged to an orange masked turtle.

"Come on shell for brains master splinter wants us home before morning." said an almost annoyed voice. This turtle was wearing a red mask

"You can show us later right now we need to get home." a calm voice said to the orange masked turtle. The calm one was wearing a blue mask and beside him stood a turtle in a purple mask

"Ok, promise?" he asked.

"Promise." The one in blue said.

"Cross your shell?" the orange one said.

"Cross my shell, now let's go!" the one in red said.

"Are you sure?" he said, trying to see if he can get them to say he could show them the trick right now.

"MIKEY!" three of them yelled in exasperation.

"Right, tomorrow got it!" he said with 'a don't hurt me' smile. He rolled passed them on his skateboard before the red turtle could hit him, but he was looking the wrong way when CRASH! The other three came running over to check on their brother.

"Don't worry about me dudes I landed on something soft so I didn't get hurt." he said smiling.

"Mikey? You might want to stand up." The blue masked turtle said to his younger brother who was oblivious to what or who's back he was sitting on.

"Excuse me but you're kind of heavy, so if you don't mind got off." came a voice from the ground. Mikey looked down to see what had broken his fall and who was speaking to him.

"Ah! I'm so sorry!" he exclaimed. He shot up and proceeded to help the person up, but maybe person was not the right word.

"It's ok it happens a lot actually." the newcomer said with a smile. it was a girl with long bright orange hair pulled back in a ponytail with bangs swept off to the side, she had on hoop earrings with neon orange headphones around her neck, she was wearing an orange t-shirt with a brown belt around her waist, a brown leather bust jacket with mid length sleeves, she wore black pants with knee high brown boots with orange lace up the front, oddly they had wheels.

The two things that stood out the most were the fox ears and TAILS, but sadly they had not seen those yet.

"So what's with the wheels on the boots?" the red masked turtle asked.

"Why aren't you scared of us?" asked the blue one.

"Well, that's a long stor-EeeeeeYAaaaah!"

"Hey guys look I found something fluffy and orange!" the youngest one said to his brother.

"MIKEY!" they yelled at him.

"Could you please set me down or at least drop me?! I really don't care at this point!" the new girl growled, the pain of being held up by her tails sent fire up her spine.

The girl was a shorter than the turtles, this was made clear by Mikey holding her off the ground by her tails. He looked at her then back at his brothers who were glaring at him.

"My bad!" he exclaimed and set her down.

" Thank you, now for your questions." she said relieved to have her tails back.

"The wheels are an attachment to the boots that i made," she explained.

"Really, you made them?" the purple masked turtle asked in surprise.

"Yes, and I'm not scared of you 'cause I'm kind of the same thing." she said lifting her head to showed them her ears, and her tails because there is not only one but two tails.

"I'm pretty sure you got that I was different from cutie over here, when he picked me up by theses fluffy annoyances." she smiled at the orange turtle, and he beamed one right back, "by the way the names Roxanne, but you can call me Roxy or Rox."

"Nice to meet you Roxanne, I'm Leo and these are my brothers, this is Donnie, that's Raph, and this is-".

"MIKEY! The one and only! Nice to meet you Roxy!" the youngest said bouncing up to her. She blushed lightly when he said her name.

"It's daybreak we got to get home before sensei gets worried." Leo said.

"You wanna come with us? Please! That would be soooo cool!" Mikey begged with big puppy eyes.

"Sure, why not." she replied while with a chuckle.

"YAY! Wait, how good of a skater are you?" Mikey asked.

"I think I'm pretty good, but I'm awesome on roller blades." she gestures to her boots then winks at them.

"We live in the sewers." Donnie said in an apologetic tone.

"Really?! I skate down there all the time!" she said excitedly.

"Last one home is road kill!" she said as she bolted with Mikey to the first manhole cover.

"What just happened?" Leo asked with a confused expression.

"She called it home, yet she's never seen it before." Donnie mused. He was surprised at how comfortable Roxanne was with them after just meeting them.

"Come on guys, it means were family now, it's not brain surgery." Raph said skating passed them, they followed him down the manhole and headed home.
