Regina was sitting in the Fraunces Tavern in New York, having a drink after another long day of searching for her soulmate with no results so far. It's not like you could just walk up to people and ask them if they had seen Robin Hood, but then again this was New York. She had shown a few people the only picture she had of him, of them, from that day in the back of Granny's. She let out a deep breath as she was on the edge of loosing all hope in ever finding him again.

"We'll find him, Regina. Don't give up on hope." Emma said trying to encourage her to not give up.

"You're just like your mother. Hope, hope, hope! You think everything is going to work itself out, the planets will align and everything will come smelling up roses." Regina said sarcastically.

"I can tell you're not in for a speech tonight. I'm going back to the hotel, I want to call Hook before I go to bed." Emma said as she paid her tab and grabbed her jacket.

"Spare me," Regina said as Emma smiled and left the bar.

"Another round for you lady?" the bartender asked.

"Hit me," Regina said as the bartender poured her another shot of whiskey. Whiskey, would she ever think of whiskey without thinking of that day at the farmhouse.

What about this? Is this magical?

Not exactly. But it is a liquid that can conjure courage, give strength or even act as a love potion of sorts.

She had thought for a split second he was going to kiss her as he had strutted up to her, she returned his steady gaze with one of her own. Everything had been going so perfectly, he had flirted, she had flirted right back at him. They were about to share a drink, when his sleeve had been pushed up and his tattoo had stared back at her. The tattoo had come back and haunted her, to shove in her face what she had given up by giving into her fear that night by running away from him. She had not thought it out at that moment, she had only taken off and ran from him again. She had heard him calling her name as she basically ran, later she had returned to where she knew he would be, at his camp in the woods. Seeing him standing there, playing with his little boy, watching them she again saw what her fear had cost her.

She stirred her drink for a second and was about to raise it to her lips when she felt someone slide onto the stool beside her, clearing their throat as they did so.

"Please, I'm not interested." Regina murmured out.

"You still owe me that whiskey drink," the voice said as she heard the voice that had haunted her dreams for so long.

"Robin? It's really you," Regina managed to say as she basically leaped off the stool and into his arms, landing onto his lap. His hands were buried into her hair as his lips captured hers. Regina could feel the hunger in his kiss, as it matched hers response as well. Time ceased to exist. Robin kissed her endlessly, greedy and tender and urgent all at once. Finally they stopped to come up for oxygen.

"I have to tell you something, something I have rehearsed a thousand times in my mind, thinking I would never be able to say to you." Robin said as he kept her face in his hands as he stared down into those beautiful dark eyes of hers, eyes he thought he would only be able to see in his dreams at night.

"You've already told me that I'm a pretty good kisser," Regina said as she smiled, a true smile for the first time in weeks. Her words caused him to laugh as he remembered saying that to her. It was the first day he had realized he was falling in love with her, something he had never told her when it had started.

"That's true, but what I want to tell you is that I love you. I'm in love with you, I love every single aspect of you. I love that satisfying smile you have, I love the way you only let me see this side of you. How you trust me with letting your guard down around me, I love your sass. Telling me where I came from we bathed in the river and use pinecombs for money. I love being your thief. I'm going to tell you how much I love you everyday for the rest of our lives. I love you Regina Mills." Robin said.

"Until I met you, thief I didn't know how to love very well. I had my son who I love with everything inside of me, but you showed me how I did have a second chance. That I was worthy enough to have someone love me, and for me to love them back. I love you, Robin...Hood." Regina said as Robin smiled at her and was leaning his head down to kiss her once more, when Regina stopped him.

"Wait, how did you find me?" Regina asked.

"I always can find my Queen." Robin said as he saw Regina raise her eyebrows at him. "Well let's just say that a little birdie told me. She also told me to not let you run from the tavern this time." Regina smiled as she leaned up to kiss him, a kiss to start the rest of their lives.
