Hello everyone,

Thank you for all of your reviews and I thought I should do another chapter of the dinner so I guess it's like an anime series and this is an OVA I guess or you could think of this as an extra or whatever you want. Anyways enjoy the chapter. Forgive me for punctual errors.

Tonight was the night that Kai got to spend with his saviour, best friend and possibly his soulmate (in case no one noticed that was meant to be a reference with the soulmate legion thing where Kai uses Royal Paladin legion and the mate is Blaster Blade and then he uses soulmate legion where Blaster Blade comes out of the soul… I think... Anyways never mind) Kai could still remember when his soulmate kissed him on the cheek earlier that very same day. The spot still felt very warm since Kai thought that Aichi was the light to his darkness and that he would go to hell after the Link Joker incident and what he did to Aichi, but Aichi made him feel like it was still possible for him to go up into heaven.

Tonight they were going to have dinner at Kai's place again. Tonight he decided to cook something similar to what he did the night when Aichi was having dinner at his place and got kidnapped. Kai made a small plate of vegetables, meat, steamed egg and steamed rice (It's my dinner from last night since I couldn't think of anything) but this time he changed the dessert to a dark chocolate pudding. (Don't judge me I just feel like chocolate pudding for some reason) Kai decided to wear a navy coloured jacket, with greyish coloured pants and a red scarf (What he was wearing in Neon Messiah)

Ding-dong

The doorbell rang. Kai was starting to feel nervous, even scared. Kai walked to the door and his hand was on the handle, he was scared of opening it. He wasn't sure if he even deserved to talk with Aichi or even exist in the same world as Aichi. Even so he opened the door and there stood Aichi wearing white top with a purple colour outlining with grey pants (what he was wearing in Neon Messiah)

"Hello, Kai-kun. Are you okay? You took a long time to answer the door." Aichi asked worryingly

"I'm fine Aichi, I was just cooking" Kai said which was actually partially true.

"Come sit down, dinner is nearly ready" Kai stated

Aichi did as he was instructed and sat down at the dining table which was made of a beautiful piece of timber (my dining table is timber and I didn't know what Kai's was. Sorry for all the author notes) he sat on these beautifully carved chairs which had a slight swirly pattern on the side of the chair which made it almost look floral. Kai set down the dinner he had prepared on the table with a coaster which were decorated with different Vanguard cards for the drinks and plates.

"I'm sorry it's so simple but it should taste alright" Kai said

"No, I'm sure it will taste as good as it looks." Aichi said shaking his head with the no. Then Kai gave both of them a bowl of rice each and they started to eat.

"This is really good Kai-kun"

"Thanks"

"I know this isn't really the time but why were you going to disappear after the Link Joker battle? You explained briefly but why did you get that idea?" Aichi asked slightly scared of the brunet's reaction.

"I… I thought that since I accepted Link Joker and hurt you… I didn't deserve to be your friend or even be near you. All I wanted at that time was to become powerful because… you and Ren were so far ahead of me and I wanted to still be a challenge to the both of you, but I was way out of league and that's when I accepted Link Joker."

There was an awkward silence…

"I'm going to go get the pudding" Kai said walking off.

Aichi didn't know what to think. Should he be feeling angry or sad towards Kai. His emotions were so mixed up he didn't know what he felt. Aichi knew that he had definitely forgiven Kai-kun but he just didn't know how to feel towards him.

"I hope you like dark chocolate" Kai said taking Aichi out of his thoughts.

"Yes, I do"

"Are you alright Aichi? You look pale." Kai said placing a bowl of pudding in front of him.

"I'm fine just thinking"

"About what happened with Link Joker?"

All Aichi could do was nod his head.

"I know I shouldn't be forgiven-"

"No, there's nothing to forgive! It wasn't your fault that you were possessed-"

"No, it was my fault I started this mess-"

"But it was temptation and if it was me I probably would've accepted it too! So stop blaming yourself and continue on with living your life to the fullest!"

Kai just stood there speechless. He had nothing to say but there's no way that Aichi would've accepted Link Joker. Would he?

"Kai-kun, I challenge you!" Aichi determined

"What?"

"I said I challenge you and you have no choice anyways"

"Fine"

"Stand up-"

"Vanguard"

(Can you guys just imagine it please? Thanks but I'll try and write the ending)

"Alfred attacks your Vanguard!" Kai has 4 damages and Aichi is on 5.

"Guard!" it's basically 2 to pass

"Ugh, first check, critical trigger! All effects go to Alfred. Second check… critical trigger! I give all effects to Alfred"

"Damage check… no trigger… second check… no trigger. Good game Aichi" Kai exclaimed slightly sad that he lost.

"That was a good game Kai-kun. Do you want to play again?"

"No, maybe tomorrow, in the Cardshop. I'm feeling a bit tired."

"Okay Kai-kun . Then I'll leave you to rest" Aichi said and started to walk away towards the door when Kai suddenly caught his wrist.

"Eh? Kai-kun?"

"Call me Toshiki, please Aichi"

Kai's eyes were shadowed by his hair and at that moment he cupped Aichi's cheek and started to lean in. Then… their lips met.

Aichi felt excited and happy and Kai felt the same way. Maybe Kai does deserve Aichi.
