This is my first story outside of the Probending Contest in a while, and I'm feeling pretty confident about it, although I feel like Korra isn't characterized as she usually would be. Let me know what you think, what needs to be fixed, and if you think I should write a second chapter or not! Please!

Oh God oh God oh God! What if she doesn't respond? What if I lose my chance? What if someone's already asked her!? Calm down.. It can't be as bad as you're making it out to be, can it? You've liked her for a while, and she even winked at you in class last week. She has to like you back, right?
*bbbrrrrrr*
Oh shit, is it her? I hope it's her! Pleaasse let it be her… It's been nearly ten minutes…

Asami: "Hey Korra!"
Okay Korra, play it cool… Give it a few minutes to make it seem like you haven't been sitting on the edge of your seat waiting on her to text back, come on you can do this.
Bolin, walking in and seeing the adorable pout set upon his friends lips laughs. "What's got you so worked up you've gotta make faces like that?"
"Oh shut up, you know why" Korra shoots back, becoming slightly annoyed at the friend setting at the end of her bed. Ever since the dark skinned girl had acquired the number of the taller, raven haired girl, she'd been on edge; practically falling over herself every time she received a text back.

"Why don't you just ask her already?" Bolin asks, an exasperated look settling on his friendly features as he leans back. "You've liked her for a while now, just ask her out to the movies or something."

"Yeah right, like she'd ever say yes to that" Korra sighed, slumping over with her chin on her knee.
"TOTALLY not true and you know it," Bolin starts, launching into a speech about why Korra should ask Asami on a date. "I know you see the way she looks at you in history class, how could you not?"
I think I've waited a sufficient amount of time to text her back, haven't I? It should be safe. I've waited about three minutes.

"Are you even listening to me Korra? Come on, you need to get out of this house and into some fresh air. I know, Let's go get ice cream!" Before he could finish his sentence, Bo had already snatched her phone away and was dragging her out the door.

"Is this why you've been so distracted?" Bo's voice sounding more interested in what was in front of him than usual. Well, usually when he had Korra's phone she was showing him the newest of the new in her martial arts training. "Awe you never replied to her, I can help you with this" he chuckles mysteriously.

Bolin begins to type away at his friend's phone, his chocolate/vanilla swirl ice cream completely forgotten for the time being. On occasion he looks up, a devilish smirk playing across his lips before gluing his eyes back to the screen in front of him.

"There! Done!" He says triumphantly, "You should be thanking me."
Korra who had since lost interest in what Bo had been doing and eating her ice cream looked up at her friend with a concerned face. "What in the world have you done?"
He set her phone down on the table and slid it back to her, the uncharacteristically sarcastic smirk never leaving his face. "See for yourself."
Snatching up her phone, she immediately starts scrolling through her messages to Asami, her face suddenly melting into a mask of horror and unbelieving shock. "What have yOU DONE!?"
"I did you a favor, now you don't have to worry about asking her out yourself."
In a way this statement was true, he had indeed handled that part, although his actions had no effect on Korra's anxiety about the emerald eyed girl. He had invited Asami over to Korra's for a movie night with himself, Mako, and of course Korra on Friday. "I-I I… You don't realize what you've done do you?" Korra whimpers, beginning to hyperventilate.
"Relax, take a deep breath," Bolin says, his easy smile helping to calm the girl in front of him. "It's only Asami, everything'll be fine.

Friday came around a lot quicker than Korra would have preferred, but Bolin was there with her every step of the way. He would come over every afternoon, coming up with an itinerary for what they were all going to do, a list of movies that they're all going to watch. There was even a seating arrangement for everyone to sit in (Korra and Asami next to each of course.) The pair had gathered up tons of sodas, junk foods, and pillows setting them up all over the living room leaving not a single flat surface uncovered that wasn't movie night related. By the time six thirty rolled around they were completely ready for the arrival of the other brother and the always beautiful Asami.
*knock knock knock*
"That must be them!" The ever cheerful Bo states, practically trampling over Korra to get to the door. "WELCOME! TO THE BEST MOVIE NIGHT IN CENTURIES!"
"Well hello to you too Bo," Asami says with a chuckle. "Haven't hardly seen you all week, I've missed you!"
"Oh well you know," he starts, rubbing the back of his neck with one hand. "Just been busy I guess. Come on guys let's get this party started!"
He quickly turns and runs back into the living room, leading the way for the two new arrivals, and throws in Sleepaway Camp (having found it on a list of the cheesiest horror movies in existence.)
As expected, the movie was horrible, and may have even been worse than what they had anticipated before renting it. More than once Bolin was subject to throwing popcorn at the television while Korra and Asami laughed in amusement and mock horror.

Once the whole night was said and done, it was obvious the two girls didn't want to separate from the others company. A pout of discontent sat steadfast on Korra's face as she walked her guests to the door and said her goodbyes, although after the boys had walked away Asami seemed to linger near, hesitation in her eyes like she wanted to say more but wasn't sure how. "Hey Korra.. Uhm.. We should do this again sometime," the raven haired girl starts with an unsure smile. "Text me and we'll work something out" she finishes, a more confident smile replacing the previous one. "Yeah, sure" Korra says flashing the taller girl a small smile. "Well I'll see ya around."
"Most definitely" Asami says with a small wave, leaving to join the brothers in the car.
Yeah, real smooth Korra, real smooth. She chastises herself once the door is shut. That could have gone much better than it did...

Well, What'd ya think? Don't forget to review, pretty pretty please! :D
