Kingdom Hearts Z

On the last chapter of Kingdom Hearts Z, Sora, Donald, and Goofy were later taught about releasing their energy and charging it up to increase their powers. While Donald and Goofy did well, Sora manage to blow Goku and King Kai's heads away with his untapped power. After fainting for a while, Sora then woke up and to his surprise Goku was waiting for him. Goku would then tell Sora of his potential and decided to teach the boy two moves to help him in combat: The Kaio-Ken and his signature attack, the Kamehameha wave. After a year of rigorous training, the three of them were more powered up and roaring to go. And now that Goku had been revived, the trio hurry and race down Snake Way to aid there new friend in a fight that threatens to destroy his home. However, they all have but limited time and Goku's friends can only hold out so much. Can Goku and Sora make it in time? Can they prevent the loss of lives at the hands of the Saiyans. And even if they do make it, will Sora himself be more than a match for the Saiyan menace? The clock is ticking in this chapter of Kingdom Hearts Z!

The Race Against Time

Hours later…

After Goku was revived with the Dragon Balls, Sora, alongside Donald and Goofy, made their way to Earth in order to aid Goku's friends who were still alive and fighting against the Saiyans who also have just arrived as well. As the four of them continued to make their way, Sora attempted some side conversations to try to at least ease the trip.

"Y'know Goku, when you said it's a long way you really weren't kidding! How long until we make it? We've been flying for hours!"

Goku replied, "Yeah, trust me, even by flight it's a real pain! But don't worry fella's, hopefully we're at the halfway point. Of course, I'm worried about my friends back on Earth," he then said to the three of them. "Listen, while on the way you guys felt three presences on Earth that faded. That means they're dead. If I had to guess, then my bet would be that Krillin, Piccolo, and my son Gohan are the only ones left. If that's the case we'll have to pick up the pace."

Goofy replied, "Don't worry Goku, will go with all the way. But don't slow down for any of us if we can't catch up."

"Thanks Goofy, but don't worry, we're all gonna make it together. I promise!"

Goku then said to them, "One more thing you guys should know! There's gonna be a checkout station that we need to reach! That's where Kami, an old friend of mines, is gonna be there waiting for us! He doesn't know about your three but he's our best chance to get back to Earth!"

"Got it! Lead the way Goku!" Donald shouted.

The four heroes then speed up as fast as they could while hoping to make it in time to save the Earth and the people who lived in it.

In an empty plains on Earth…

Indeed, as Goku had mentioned before, three of Goku's friends were no longer among the living. Earlier on Earth, the Saiyan's had already arrived on Earth. To make matters worse, the Saiyans who had arrived already caused mass destruction which resulted in the destruction of many cities. To make matters worse, many lives were taken in the process. Since Goku was not on Earth immediately, Goku's friends made it their mission to fight the Saiyans in his absence. Also, like Goku, the trained for an entire year in order to increase their strength. By the time the Saiyans had arrived, Goku's friends, the Earth's Special Forces known as the Z Fighters, stepped up to the plate to fight these horrid monsters. They fought bravely, but alas four of their numbers had already diminished.

Earlier, the first one to step up to the plate was a young handsome man with long and wild black hair. He had two scars running across his face. He had a muscular build as well. He wore an orange gi and had blue wristbands on him as well. He also wore black kung-fu shoes as well. This man was known as Yamcha, a former desert bandit turned martial artist who has known Goku since the latter was a little child thick and through.

Yamcha was one of the first of the Earth warriors to challenge the Saiyans. The first of them was a very tall and muscular man. He was wearing some sort of armor that covered his upper body. The armor was a dark color and had shoulder pads that were yellowish in color. He also wore dark colored boots and arm guards as well. His most distinguishing trait was his thin moustache and the fact that he was very bald. But he had something else. A brown belt around his waist, which was actually a tail. This man was knowns as Nappa, and he was accompanied by his other Saiyan companion.

The other Saiyan was shorter than Nappa. However, unlike Nappa he actually had a hair. His hair in particularly was spiked in the shape of a flame along with a widows peak. He wore what looked like a blue jumpsuit that was covered in armor similar to Nappa. However, his armor was white with shoulder pads and he wore white gloves and white boots with yellow tips. This man was known as Vegeta, and he was known as "The Prince of All Saiyans".

Yamcha was the first to fight. However, Nappa decided otherwise and instead planted something in the ground. The result was in plant like creatures that were green in color and had red eyes. These were known as the Saibamen, and they were the Saiyans grunts. Yamcha fought one of the Saibamen, and he proved more than a match. However, his confidence was his downside. While Yamcha was distracted, the Saibaman that attacked him attached itself to Yamcha, and immediately self-destructed, killing Yamcha in the process.

In a fit of rage, Krillin, one of Goku's friends since childhood, avenged Yamcha. He was a short and bald human with six dots on his forehead. He also wore an orange gi similar to Yamchas. Krillin unleashed a powerful energy rain which destroyed about all of the Saibamen. The next warrior to step up to the fray was Tien Shinhan. He was a tall man who was shirtless and had green martial arts pants and wore black training shoes. His most distinguishing traits were his own bald head and his third eye on top of his forehead. He was accompanied by his best friend Chiaotzu. A small and pure white humanoid being that wore a light tank top and black training pants. He also wore a black hat with a red dot on top.

Tien went on to fight Nappa, who also decided to fight. Tien was able to hold himself on his own for a while. However, despite Tien's efforts, Nappa was unfazed by the formers attacks. Sooner or later, Tien's resistance would cost him an arm, literally in fact. Nappa manage to hit Tien with an attack which was so powerful, it ripped Tiens arm right off of him. Chiaotzu, in a desperate attempt to save Tien, Chiaotzu attempted to blow Nappa up alongside him. However the attack was in vain, and Nappa still survived. Tien attempted to avenge his friend by firing an all-out Tri-Beam attack. However, the attack had no effect, and Tien would later die due to pouring all of his life force into the attack.

Now the only ones left in the fray were Krillin, Piccolo, and Goku's son Gohan. As Krillin cried out to Goku, Vegeta ended up curious as to who he was referring to. After learning that it was Kakarot, Goku's Saiyan name, Vegeta decided to give them three hours until Goku's arrival. Until then, Nappa decided to fly off to relieve himself of his boredom. Right now, all they had was to hope that Goku could arrive in three hours. If not, then it would be up to the three of them to stop the Saiyans and at least attempt to buy more time for Goku to arrive. This was all that they had going for them.

With Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin…

Amongst Krillin were two allies in the fight against the Saiyans. The first ally was a tall and green humanoid figure. He was a bald creature with two antennas on top of his forehead. He had pointy ears and he also had what looked like muscle patches covering his arms, body, and legs. He was wearing a purple outfit, and had some sort of weird looking shoes. This man was Piccolo. An enemy of Goku's from the past during the 24th World Martial Arts Tournament, he decided to aid Goku in his fight against the Saiyans.

The other companion was a very young boy of age. He had long, and wild black hair. He wore an outfit similar to Piccolo, but he instead had a white head band worn across his arms and he had red wristbands. This was Gohan, and he was the son of both Goku and Chi Chi. For the year that his father was dead, he was trained under Piccolo after the defeat Raditz. During that time, Piccolo would train Gohan while hoping that he can draw of his innate potential that was used when he needed help in defeating Raditz.

As of now, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and Tien were killed in battle. Now the three of them were all that was left to oppose the Saiyans. Luckily for them, Vegeta, who was curious about Goku, decided to give them three hours until Goku could arrive. While Gohan was intimidated at first, he decided to stay and keep fighting for both Piccolo and his father. Meanwhile, Nappa went off somewhere to cause destruction on his own. Vegeta was merely sitting and waiting for the time Goku would arrive. During that time, Piccolo was talking about strategy with both Krillin and Gohan.

"Alright you two, as you know we're the only three left to fight these Saiyans. Until then, we have to plan out our attack to defeat them." Piccolo said.

"Yeah, but how can we? No matter what we do, we just can't seem to faze the guy." Krillin said, to which Piccolo noted.

"I have a plan. But I need you guys to help me out. It'll only work if the three of us are able to pull of our roles together." Piccolo stated.

"Okay, so what do we do Mr. Piccolo?" Gohan asked.

"Here's how it's going to work. Once that guy comes back, we'll have to face him again. But the Saiyans have one weak point: their tails. Krillin, you'll need to face that guy. Try not to do things head first. Just get his attention long enough for me to grab on his tail. After that, Gohan needs to come in for the finishing blow."

Krillin responded, "Alright, sounds like a plan to me."

"Yeah, you can count on me Mr. Piccolo." Gohan said.

Piccolo then thought, "Goku, I don't know what's taking so long, but I have a feeling that you're close. I'll buy you as much time as I can, but you have to hurry. I don't know how long I can hold off."

Back with Sora and the others…

The four heroes were racing as fast as they could. As the clock seemed to continue to tick down, the four of them continued to speed up as fast as they could. Judging by the look on Goku's face, time was running out for them. If they didn't make it fast enough, then the Earth and its people were doomed.

"Please hold on you guys, I'm almost there!" Goku thought.

"Goku, I don't know what's happening, but for some reason I'm not sensing any power right now. My only guess is that either one side loss, or there's a ceasefire and they're seriously waiting on us." Sora said while paying attention to the power levels on Earth. Thanks to King Kai's training, Sora and his friends could now sense energy and were capable of sensing presences far away from them.

"Yeah, I can feel it too. I don't know what's happening anymore, but don't worry. We're almost there guys." Goku said.

"How can you tell?" Goofy asked.

"Trust me, it's more about my instincts then anything."

"Whatever you say Goku." Goofy replied.

However, in the distance, Donald could see something far away.

"Hey guys look!" Donald exclaimed while pointing in a direction.

From far away, an image could briefly be seen. Upon closer inspection, a huge building could be seen. It was about the size of a large Chinese palace.

"Hey that's it you guys! That's the reception area!" Goku exclaimed. He then turned to the others and said, "Alright you guys, from here we run. For now we need to conserve our energy for when we go against the Saiyans."

"Got it!" the trio replied in unison.

In an instant, the four heroes then immediately flew down to the ground and started to make way to the entrance of the reception area. They all sprinted at very quickly as they hurried along. Thanks to King Kai and the gravity training, Sora, Donald, and Goofy could run at a much faster pace than they normally would. At break neck pace, the three hurried along the way.

The lookout Tower…

Besides Piccolo, there was another who look just like him on this planet. He was an old being who was green and looked just like Piccolo. However, he was quite old, as if he lived for centuries. He was wearing what looked like a white robe that had a symbol for on it. He was also using a walking stick as well. This man's name was Kami, and he was the Guardian of Earth and an old friend of Goku. For it was he who recommended Goku to train with King Kai.

Accompanying him was a black creature with red lips. He wore what looked like Arabian clothes with white pants and a red shirt. He also had a white turban on his head. This was Mr. Popo, and they were waiting to sense Goku's arrival to King Yemma's reception palace.

Kami stayed on the lookout while monitoring the fight between the Z Fighters and the Saiyans. Kami had grown weary as he had sense four of his best fighters had long lost their lives against the Saiyans. However, he grew hopeful and waited for Goku to come, hoping that it would turn the tide.

As Kami was concentrating, he felt a disturbance in the air.

Mr. Popo, who was concerned asked, "What is it Kami?"

"It's Goku! He's made it to King Yemma's! But He's not alone!" Kami replied.

"W-What do you mean!"

"Besides Goku, I sense three other presences alongside him. This three are giving of the same power just like Goku."

"J-j-just like Goku?"

However, Kami smiled and said, "Yes Mr. Popo. However, just like Goku, these warriors are fighters with pure hearts. I didn't know that King Kai had other students, but it looks like they're helping Goku and us out. And that is a fortunate thing on our side, for it seems these allies are just as powerful."

"This is good news Kami! To think we could get more help in defending the Earth!"

"Yes, but they are near King Yemma's right about now. I have to hurry and retrieve them!"

An in an instant, Kami instantly warped to King Yemma's palace.

With Sora and the others…

The four of them continued running to King Yemma's at a fast rate. They each continued to run even faster as they were closer to King Yemma's palace. Luckily for Sora, Donald, and Goofy, they were able to keep up with the fast pace. Unlike the people they used to be, they weren't tired out and were capable of keeping up with Goku.

"Alright you guys! Just hold on, we're almost there!" Goku said.

The four heroes continued to run faster and faster at incredible speeds. However, time was still not on their side. The four of them continued to run as fast as they could. They continued to run with all of their might. While Sora, Donald, and Goofy weren't from this world and this entire universe, they made it their mission to meddle when lives were at stake. They didn't change this rule back then, and they especially weren't going to change it now. However, after some intense running, the four heroes had at last made their way to King Yemma's palace.

"Alright you guys we're here!" Goku exclaimed as they slowed.

At last the four of them had stopped running. While Sora, Donald, and Goofy were in awe of their surroundings, Goku was looking frantically for Kami.

"Kami! Are you here?"

And as if in response, Kami's voice could be heard!

"Goku, I'm here! Hurry, you and your friends grab on to me!"

Goku then turned to Sora, Donald, and Goofy and said to them, "Don't worry! Just grab on to him!"

In compliance, the four of them grabbed on to Kami. In an instant, he transported them all back to Earth.

King Yemma, a red demon with a beard and suit, was watching the whole ordeal. He was shocked by what he had seen.

"Oh wow, he actually made it. I guess the Earth has a chance after all. But, I don't remember him having friends."

Back on Earth…

True to his word, Kami manage to bring them back in the blink of an eye. Sora, Donald, and Goofy were amazed at where they were. However, Goku knew there was no time to lose.

"I know you've got questions, but I'll answer them after everything is over." Goku said.

"Don't worry about it. For now you must hurry, your friends need you more than ever." Kami said.

Goku turned to the trio and said to them, "Alright you guys! From here we fly! Let's jump down now!"

Sora, Donald, and Goofy nodded their heads in compliance. The all followed Goku as he ran off the lookout tower. They then descended further and further down. While it seemed like they were falling, they were actually waiting to get a move on.

"Goku, where should we head?" Sora asked.

Goku responded, "Not yet Sora! We just need to make one more stop!"

And as if on cue, Sora looked around. He then noticed there was another level to the tower that they were on. On it was a white cat that was holding a walking stick similar to Kami. This cat's name was Korin. This cat had once mentored Goku during his childhood. He also grew Senzu beans with magic healing properties that have more than once saved Goku in his life time.

"Wow, looks like Goku is back more wild than ever," Korin remarked. Looking at his three companions, he then said, "And it looks like he got us some more help."

"Hey Korin!" Goku shouted from the distance.

"What?" Korin shouted in response.

"Listen, before I head out I was wondering if you had any Senzu Beans left?"

Korin then grabbed two beans and tossed them to Goku.

"Here you go Goku! These are the last two I've got, make them count!" Korin shouted.

Goku then grabbed each bean with each of his hands. He then ate one of the beans in while saving the other one for later.

"Flying Nimbus!" Goku shouted.

On cue, a yellow cloud soon beckoned to Goku's call. It made its way to him extremely fast. As the cloud made it closer, Goku then made proceeded to land on the cloud.

"Hope you guys don't mind! I would like to conserve some of my energy for the battle if you don't mind!" Goku said.

"Don't worry about us Goku! Out of all of us, you're the best one who's got a chance at beating the Saiyans! You're our trump card, so leave the small fry to us!" Sora exclaimed, with Donald and Goofy nodding their heads.

"Thanks you guys," Goku said with gratitude. He then looked forward and shouted, "Alright, you guys just hold on tight! We're almost there! Sora! Donald! Goofy! LET'S GO!"

"RIGHT!" the three shouted in unison.

The four heroes then proceeded to leave the lookout at a fast pace. Korin looked on as Goku and his new friends made their way to the battle.

"Good luck Goku. If anyone can defeat these Saiyans, it's definitely you. And good luck to your friends as well. I hope to meet'em and know them after all of this is over."

With Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin…

Vegeta, who was now feed up with waiting, turned to the three remaining Z Fighters and said to them, "It's been three hours. You know what that means don't you?"

Nappa, who had just returned from his rampage, removed his ruined Saiyan armor from earlier, turned to Vegeta and asked, "So, should I start now?"

"Go ahead Nappa. They already know their time is up."

Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin began to ready themselves. As soon as Nappa was ready to battle, Piccolo made sure that the two of them remembered their plan of attack.

"Alright, here he comes. You two remember the plan?" Piccolo asked.

"We are." Krillin answered.

"Me too Mr. Piccolo." Gohan also answered.

"Alright, let's go!" Piccolo shouted.

Krillin began to make the first move. As with the plan, he began to rush forward towards Nappa. The Saiyan began to meet him head on. However, as part of Piccolo's plan, Krillin started to create a distraction by throwing several ki blasts at Nappa. The attacks were unable to faze him, but Krillin's aim was not to defeat him. Krillin continued to fire blast after blast. While Nappa became fixated on him, Piccolo soon began to make his move. On cue, Piccolo began to blast the dirt in front of Nappa, temporarily blinding him for a moment. Piccolo then made a break for it and managed to sneak behind Nappa. With luck, he was able to grab his tail, catching the Saiyan by surprise.

However, much to Piccolo's surprise, Nappa was unfazed by this and socked Piccolo with an elbow strike to the head.

"Hah! You honestly thought that would work on me? Unlike Raditz, I never skipped tail day!" Nappa boasted.

"Oh no, Piccolo!" Gohan said terrified.

"Such a shame. One hit and he's supposed to be the strongest in the planet." Nappa said as he tossed Piccolo aside.

Gohan rushed to Piccolo's side as he tried to wake him up. Unfortunately, Piccolo was unable to get up. Krillin could only watch in horror as Piccolo, their best fighter and chance for survival, was on the ground with almost all the life knocked out of him.

Vegeta merely laughed as he said, "Nappa's right y'know. Unlike that weakling Raditz, we actually trained our tails in case desperate weakling's like you attempted to do something very fool hardy as of now."

Nappa, who was now getting bored again, looked to Gohan and said, "Jeez, now I wonder which of you guys I should play with until that Namek gets up."

Nappa then walked to Gohan and said to him, "Y'know, you should be proud. You're a Saiyan too. Well, you're half but that works too. That's right kid Saiyan's are the mightiest warriors in the universe."

Gohan was petrified with fear as Nappa stood all over him, "That's right could, one day you could become a great warrior," He then looked at Gohan and said to him, "Unfortunately that day is not today."

He then proceeded to Kick Gohan knocking the young Saiyan inches away.

In an island faraway…

Around the world, there was an island in the middle of the ocean. On the island was a small house known as the "Kame House". The house was home to a man called Master Roshi, who had taught Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha. Roshi was an old man who was wearing his old martial arts uniform he wore in tournaments passed. He had a white beard, was bald, and wore a pair of sunglasses.

In his house were a couple of guest. The first a young woman who had long blue hair. Her hair was tied in a ponytail with a red ribbon, she was wearing a blue shirt and skirt. She had blue eyes, and had round earrings. She was a woman known as Bulma Briefs, and she was a friend of Goku's when he was a young child, and was dating Yamcha at the time.

The next guess was another woman who was younger than her. She wore what looked like a purple dress while having an orange cloth tied on top and had a yellow sash. She had black hair that was tied in a bun, but had her sides coming down. Her name was Chi-Chi, and she was Goku's wife and Gohan's mother.

With her was a man who was somewhat the size of a giant. He wore what looked like a white simple shirt while also wearing a pair of black overalls. He had a brown beard and wore glasses. And he also wore a hat that had Ox horns. This was the Ox King, and he was Chi-Chi's father as well as Goku's father in-law and Gohan's grandfather.

Other guests included Oolong the pig, who wore a simple white shirt and blue suspenders, and Puar, a talking blue cat who was Yamcha's very faithful companion.

While their friends were fighting, they decided to take refuge in Roshi's house to see how the battle had turned out. Earlier, they witnessed the death of Yamcha which was live on T.V. which in turn devastated Bulma and Puar to tears. The rest of the group was watching the fight while suddenly reception had died out. This had the rest of the group up in pile off unbridled emotions leaving them on edge.

"Well, it's official. We're all gonna die." Oolong said.

"Can it Pork rind. How can you give up on them like that?" Said an Angry Bulma.

Then suddenly, from upstairs came Chi-Chi. This time, she was covered in what looks like heavy weapons and ammo. She wore a headband and had what looked like an SMG in her hands.

"Chi-Chi, where did you get those guns?" A scared Ox King asked.

Roshi answered, "Launch left those behind."

"I'm going out there to get my son." Said a determined Chi-Chi

"Chi-Chi no! Stop and think about this."

"I'm done thinking. I'm going out there and getting my Gohan back."

However, Ox King in response grabbed Chi-Chi and held her down in order to prevent her from doing something rash. Chi-Chi then attempted to struggle to get free as Chi-Chi tried to argue about Ox King about getting Gohan back no matter the cost. Her father tried to spell reason in her while she accidentally knocked down a photo frame that held a picture of Goku and his friends. Bulma went to pick up the picture as she reminisced about the old days when things were never so grim. The picture contained Goku, Bulma, Roshi, Krillin, Chiaotzu, Oolong, Puar, Tien, Yamcha, and Launch, a woman who used to stay and took care of Roshi back when Goku was just a child. Bulma began to shed a tear as she remembered to good times.

"It's hard to believe that we were so happy back then. Tien, Yamcha, and my little Goku."

Bulma then looked up as she thought about Goku and him coming to save the day, just as he had done all those years ago while growing up.

"I know you're out there somewhere. And I know you'll always be there to save us."

Back with Gohan and Krillin…

Things were not looking well for Gohan. Piccolo was still knocked out, and Nappa continued to beat on him without mercy. Gohan could only fall to the ground, his white headband knocked out of his head. The son of Goku could only writhe in pain, and the worst had yet to begun.

"Don't tell me you're done. Show me your Saiyan pride!" Nappa said while goading Gohan to get up.

Gohan then struggled to get back managed to stand, but albeit weakly.

"I don't know how long I can hold him. Dad, where are you?" Gohan thought.

"Hahaha! Great, now you're going to die like a man." Nappa said.

He then charged at Gohan. However, Krillin intervened and managed to knock Nappa away from Gohan. Krillin attempted to attack, but Nappa recovered and attempted to counter. However, Nappa missed and Krillin managed to get some distance.

Vegeta, amused, said to Nappa, "He's making you look bad."

Nappa responded, "Not for long!"

The Saiyan than charged at Krillin. However, Krillin remain unfazed and decided to go for another attack that could potentially defeat Nappa.

"Well, I guess it's all or nothing."

Krilling then held his right arm out. As of now, he began to charge up his energy while Nappa continued to lunge at him. He continued to raise his power until suddenly a huge disc covered in Ki could be seen being formed around Krillin's arm. As Nappa continued to charge, Krillin merely smirked.

"Here's hoping all that training paid off."

"Here! Catch!" Krillin shouted.

He swung his arms in motion preparing his disk. He proceeded to throw his Ki disc right at Nappa.

"Destructo Disk!"

Nappa, however, was unamused and found Krilling's Destructo Disk as something of amusement.

"Playing Catch huh? Alright then."

Nappa merely stood there as the disk continued making its way towards its target. It continued to speed up with Nappa unfazed. This was what Krillin was hoping for. Unknown to Nappa, Krillin's plan was to merely cut Nappa rather than simply blasting him. If it worked, then it would mean one less Saiyan to deal with. Unfortunately for Krillin, Vegeta was around.

"Nappa! Don't touch it!" Vegeta shouted.

Nappa, confused, responded and dodged the Destructo Disk. As the Disk missed, it was seen cutting right through one of the rocks. Nappa could only look on in shock as he imagined what would have happened should the attack have actually manage to hit him.

"Dammit Nappa you're such a fool. If that attack had hit you then you would have been cut in two."

Krillin, frustrated, said, "Dammit, I was so close."

While the disk missed, it did leave a scratch on Nappa's face. Unfortunately, it only served to fuel Nappa's fury even more.

"You cut me! Now you've gone and done it! You scarred my beautiful face! And now you're going to pay for it!"

Nappa then began to charge a large amount of Ki in his hands into destructive power.

"Here little man! Catch this!"

Nappa then threw his charged Ki right at Krillin. The warrior of Earth managed to dodge the attack, but the force behind it was severe and left Krillin was caught in the blast. Nappa smiled with glee as he prepared to charge another attack right at him. However, he was interrupted as he was suddenly shot from the back. Confused and angry, he turned to see who had attack him. To his shock and anger, Piccolo had finally regained consciousness, and was back in the fight.

"You Namekian scum! How dare you attack my back like that?"

"Sorry, I thought it was your face."

"Why you-"

Vegeta was laughing as Piccolo was ready for another round with the Saiyan brute Nappa.

"I'm tired of you and your loud mouth!" Piccolo shouted.

"Arrogant fool! I can take your life whenever I want! You're only breathing because we still need you for the Dragon Balls! After that, you'll be nothing more than a memory!" Nappa retorted.

"You just caught me by surprise. And I won't let it happen again."

However, something else caught Piccolo's attention. He looked to another direction while trying to focus his senses.

"What the hell am I sensing? There's an incredibly huge power level coming this way!"

Vegeta was confused, but Gohan knew what Piccolo was talking about.

"It's my Dad! He's different somehow, but I know that energy has to be his! It has to be!" Gohan said with hope in his voice.

Krillin, who was badly knocked down said, "I knew he'd save us."

However, Nappa was not convinced and said, "Oh you're just bluffing. You can't sense power levels without a device of sort."

However, Piccolo could only smirk and said, "Oh just wait and see. It's Goku alright, and he's coming right now. And judging by the power I'm sensing, you Saiyan are in for the fight of your lives!"

However, Nappa retorted and said, "Yeah right. I don't see him," he then turned to Vegeta and asked him, "What do you think Vegeta?"

"Calm down Nappa. There's certainly nothing to worry about."

Vegeta then took his scouter as he was trying to verify whether Piccolo was telling the truth or not.

"Not like it matters. If he wants to come then let him."

Vegeta then turned on his scouter. As the scouter was registering data, it managed to get a read for Vegeta. Unfortunately, Vegeta was shocked by the results.

With Goku, Sora, Donald, and Goofy…

The four heroes manage to fly their way to the battle. They were almost there, and lucky for their senses, they knew the trail was hot.

"Listen you guys, I'm sensing two huge power levels up ahead of where we're going." Goku said.

"There's also two weaker ones, and one that's fading fast." Goofy said.

"This is bad! I think something bad's happened!" Sora exclaimed.

"We have to hurry Goku! I don't think your friends can hold on any longer!" Donald said.

"You're right you guys! Let's pick up the pace! Go Nimbus, Hurry!" Goku shouted.

The four heroes then continued to make their way as they draw ever closer to the battle at hand.

With Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin…

Vegeta could only be awestruck. Piccolo was right, there was a huge power level heading its way as of now. However, what he did not predict was that the huge power level was not by itself. As Vegeta kept gawking, Nappa tried to talk some sense back to him.

"Hey Vegeta. Are you alright? You had me worried for a sec there," Nappa said. He then laughed and continued, "C'mon, don't tell me those guys were telling the truth."

"Something is definitely coming this way. But it can't be Kakarot, the power level is just way too high."

Vegeta turned to Nappa and said, "Whatever's coming has a power level of 5000."

Nappa was shocked and shouted, "What! 5000?"

Vegeta then told both Nappa and Piccolo, "And that's not all. There are three more power levels with him. They're weaker, but one of them has a power level of at least 4000."

"4000? Vegeta, you have to be kidding! You have to be!" shouted Nappa in disbelief.

Even Piccolo was shocked. However, he decided to sense the power again. To his surprise, Vegeta was right, Goku was accompanied by three others, and one of them had a power level that seemed to be close to Goku's.

"He's right! Goku's not alone! It looks like he has three others with him. Did he seriously manage to find some help while in the otheworld?" Piccolo thought.

"I don't understand. How could Kakarot be this powerful? It doesn't matter, I just need to be careful. The people on this planet are capable of hiding their true power levels. 5000 could be just the beginning." Vegeta thought.

"It can't be! You're scouter must be malfunctioning!" Nappa shouted.

Piccolo merely laughed as he said, "Still don't believe me? Go ahead. Besides, it looks like Goku didn't come alone. I don't know how he did it, but it looks like he got us some friends as well. And it looks the numbers game is about to fall back to us!"

"Mr. Piccolo's right. Dad really brought help and they're all so strong. We're saved!" Gohan thought with glee.

"Nappa kill them all! If it is Kakarot, then we must show him we are not to be crossed!" Vegeta ordered.

This shocked Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin, and even Nappa himself.

"But what about the Dragon Balls?" Nappa asked.

"We don't need these fools. For it's all clear to me now. It must have been the Nameks who created the Dragon Balls on this planet. I've heard of the magical balls before, but merely thought they were legend. But there can't be a coincidence that by looking for the Dragon Balls we found a Namek as well." Vegeta said.

"I get it. All we need to do is find a Namek and get them make the Dragon Balls. And Planet Namek is loaded with them. Which means this guy is expendable." Nappa said while looking at a grunted Piccolo.

Gohan was enraged. Piccolo had taught Gohan how to fight and be brave. Hearing those words stirred a spark in Gohan who refused to allow Vegeta and Nappa to kill Piccolo.

"Piccolo, leave now! We'll hold out until my Dad and his friends get here!" Gohan said, which confused and shocked Piccolo.

Gohan then stated, "If we lose you, then we'll lose the Dragon Balls too. And we won't be able to wish any of our friends back either."

Piccolo, who was amused and honored, said to Gohan, "Thanks for your concern Gohan. But I really don't think you can handle these guys all by yourself."

Nappa, who was caught smiling, looked at Gohan with a sadistic look in his eyes. He then told Gohan, "Just for that. You go first."

Krillin meanwhile, wanted to help them, but was still in no condition to fight.

Nappa then charged right at Gohan. Piccolo tried to stop Nappa, but was too far off. Just as Nappa was closing in, Gohan then decided to stop cowering in fear. He then charged at Nappa and hit him with a powerful kick that sent him flying. Piccolo was amazed at the power he suddenly displayed. Krillin was also in awe as well. However, it was all for naught.

Nappa immediately got out of the rubble. This time, the rage on his face was very severe. Never had someone had the nerve to fight back at him as others had before. This time, Nappa had enough.

"You! I'll kill you!"

Nappa then began to charge a powerful attack that began to shake the ground. Gohan was paralyzed with fear. Krillin was helpless to do anything. As for Piccolo, he knew what would happen if the attack landed. He thought back to the times when took and train Gohan. For the time they spent, Piccolo never hated any moment of it at all. He knew what he had to do. Even though his death meant the destruction of the Dragon Balls, he would risk it all for a friend.

Nappa had then began to throw his massive Ki like attack at Gohan. However, Piccolo raced and intercepted the attack head on. Unfortunately, the attack was too much for him to handle. As the blast finally cleared, Piccolo revealed himself to have shielded Gohan from the attack. However, the blast had left him charred and near death as he urged Gohan to run. He then fell to his knees as he lamented about how the former Demon King Piccolo had suddenly risked his life for a child.

Gohan, who was utterly devastated, rushed to Piccolo's side.

"I-I'm sorry Gohan, but it looks like I'm not going to make it." Piccolo said weakly. "It's up to you and your father now."

"Piccolo, hold on just a little while longer. My dad and his new friends are coming any minute. They'll save us, just hold on." Said a tearful Gohan.

Nappa interrupted and said, "Ah, I wanted to take my time with the Namek. Oh well."

With Goku, Sora, Donald, and Goofy…

As they four had almost made their way, Goku could sense a power level having to at last completely fade.

"This is bad you guys! One of their power levels is fading fast! We have to hurry!" Goku said.

Sora, Donald and Goofy could only look on in shock. However, they regained their composure as they made their way. It was only a matter of time now until they arrived. They could only hope that they weren't too late.

"Gohan, hold on! I'm almost there!"

With Kami…

At the lookout, Kami was crunching on his walking stick. Since Piccolo and Kami were the same being, if one of them were to die, then the other would soon follow. Since Piccolo's life force was fading rapidly, it meant Kami's time had come.

Mr. Popo then tried to help Kami as he asked, "Kami, what's wrong?"

"Piccolo's life force is rapidly fading. It means that my time has come." Kami replied.

"Kami no!"

"Mr. Popo, listen to me. With us gone, so are the Dragon Balls. But legends tell on Namek that the Dragon Balls there still exist. Use those to bring us back."

Kami then started to fade out. It mean that the time was near.

Gohan and Piccolo…

"Ironic isn't it? The great King Piccolo sacrificing his life for the child of his enemy."

Gohan could only tear up as he looked at a dying Piccolo.

Piccolo, with a weak smile, looked at Gohan and said to him, "Gohan, you're the only real friend that I ever had. I want to thank you."

Tears could be seen flowing down Piccolo's eyes. Regardless of the year he spent, he never regretted any moment of it. Gohan's tears kept on flowing as he tried to reassure Piccolo he would be alright.

"Mr. Piccolo, please just hold on a little longer." Gohan said.

"I remember when we first started. You were at first weak and helpless. But as time flew by, you were courageous and brave. Your warriors spirit increased the more you were in danger. I know I was harsh on you, but it was for your own good."

Gohan's tears started to swell up in his eyes. He always knew that Piccolo was a good man

"You're like the son I never had. I'm proud of you Gohan," Piccolo said. He then closed his eyes for the final time and left him his last words, "Goodbye my friend."

And with that, it was finally over. Piccolo was now dead. With him gone, only Gohan and Krillin were all that remained.

"NOOOOOOOO!" Gohan screamed.

With Piccolo's death, so did Kami. And he bid Mr. Popo a final farewell before going to the afterlife.

Krillin could only look in shame as he witnessed another ally's death. With Gohan left, Krillin tried to muster all of his strength to get back up, but to no avail. However, Piccolo's death had angered Gohan. Immediately standing back up, he then looked towards Nappa, the cruel Saiyan that had killed him. In an instant his power began to flare. This caught the attention of Vegeta's Scouter.

Nappa, noticing Gohan's fighting spirit, shouted, "Alright, let's go!"

Gohan then took both of his arms up high and put both of his hands on his forehead. He then began to charge up his Ki which flared up exponentially.

"MASENKO!"

Nappa was suddenly confused by the power of Gohan's attack. However, Vegeta himself took to the Scouter to determine the attacks power level.

"Hold on, the Scouter says that it's over 2000. No wait a minute, it's over 3000" Vegeta said. He then said to Nappa, "Watch out Nappa! This one is stronger than he appears to be!"

Nappa shouted to Gohan, "Alright kid let's see what you got!"

In response, Gohan fired a powerful Masenko beam right at Nappa. Unfortunately for Gohan, the attack wasn't enough and Nappa was able to deflect the beam right across a rock in the distance. The beams power was demonstrated as they could see the rock being completely obliterated into nothing. Unfortunately for Gohan, he poured all he had into that once attack, and it seemed to have completely drained him.

"It seems that last attack completely drained him. His power level is back to normal." Said a smug and content Vegeta.

Nappa, who was laughing yet had a furious expression, said to Gohan, "Not bad kid! You actually made my arm numb. Now it's my turn."

"They're too strong. We just can't stop them." Said a now less than hopeful Krillin.

At Kame house…

Chi-Chi, who was still insisting that she helped her son, was finding herself restrained by almost everyone present at the household. However, unknown to them they had a visitor now. It was a short and old lady who was wearing a typical black witch uniform while standing on a magic crystal ball. Her name was Fortuneteller Baba and she, believe it or not, was Master Roshi's older sister.

As she approached the door, she was meet with rapid fire gun furry from a comical but worried Chi-Chi. Fortunately, Baba could stop the bullets before they even hit her.

"Nice to see you too." Said a very distraught Baba.

As everyone was shocked by her appearance, Baba regained her composure in order to inform them of certain news.

"I've come to inform you that Goku has returned and has come to aid in the battle." Said Baba, whose good news surprised everyone.

"You mean, he's really here?" Bulma asked.

"Goku. Thank goodness." Master Roshi thought.

Baba continued and said, "However, he is not alone."

Roshi, who was surprised, asked Baba, "What do you mean he's not alone?"

"As he returned from the Otherworld, it would appear that he brought three more companions with him."

Bulma, with her eyes wide open, asked, "You mean, Goku actually managed to bring us more help?"

Baba nodded her head and said to them, "Yes, and these three appear to be very strong. Together, the four of them may be able to turn the tide against the Saiyans."

Everyone around jumped with joy as they heard the news. For Chi-Chi, it meant Gohan didn't need to fight anymore. As for everyone else, the rejoiced as they heard the more fighters came to their aid.

"Goku, you never cease to amaze me. You didn't just come back, but you came back with help. Finally, everyone who died in this battle wouldn't have died in vain." Roshi thought.

Oolong then had an idea and said to them, "Hey I have an idea. We can see the whole fight from Baba's crystal ball."

However, Baba comically retorted and said, "You swine! My crystal orb is a scared relic, not a television set."

However, she was ignored as she and her crystal ball were dragged inside Roshi's house.

With Gohan and Krillin…

As Gohan was completely exhausted, he looked on to Piccolo's dead corpse and apologized for not being able to do better.

"Don't worry Piccolo. I won't…let you…down." Said Gohan.

Nappa, who was laughing with glee, proceeded to move forward to Gohan. Krillin looked on in shock as the evil Saiyan approached Gohan with the intent to kill him.

"Gohan! Run! Hurry!" Krillin begged.

"That's right. Run away and hide." Said a sadistically laughing Nappa.

However, Gohan refused. He then dropped to his knees and said, "No way. Piccolo's counting on me."

Nappa was then in arms-length towards Gohan. He then laughed as Gohan was about to be killed by his hands.

"Gohan, no!" Krillin shouted. He attempted to get up, but his body would no longer obey him.

"There'll always be a soft spot for you kid right under my boot." Nappa said as he raised his leg up high.

Gohan could only close his eyes in anguish as he awaited his inevitable death. Nappa then proceeded to stomp Gohan. Krillin could only look away in anguish unable to do anything. Gohan felt as if his time had finally come as he begged Piccolo to forgive him. However, the unthinkable had final happened.

As Nappa's foot touched the ground, he realized that Gohan had disappeared. He tried to look for him. And to his surprise, Gohan was mounted on a flying cloud.

Gohan then opened his eyes as he realized he was saved, "Huh? Nimbus?"

"Where did that thing come from?" Nappa asked.

Vegeta was also shocked as well. He then looked to up to the sky, and there he was.

In the sky was none other than Goku. However, Vegeta was confused, for he was sure that he had others with him.

And as if on cue, Nappa was struck in the head by a flying object. To Nappa's surprise, the impact had actually hurt his head quite a bit. He was furious as he looked around while rubbing his head. He looked around enraged while finding the perpetrator.

"Gah! That actually hurt! Alright, who threw that?"

Goku then looked to Nappa and said to him, "Sorry about the headache. You'll have to ask my pal over there."

Nappa then looked up in another direction and to his surprise, there were three people standing above him. One was a teenage boy with spikey brown hair and black clothing. He was accompanied by two creatures that Nappa couldn't make out. Vegeta, however, was looking for the object that struck Nappa.

To Vegeta's surprise, Nappa was struck by what looked like a giant key. However, upon closer inspection, it seemed to look more like a sword then a key. However, it couldn't possibly be used as a weapon since it had no sharp edge, as Vegeta thought.

"What the-the scouter didn't even register that attack! Just what the hell is happening?" Vegeta thought.

"You brat! I'll kill you for that!" Nappa said.

The young boy was unfazed by Nappa's threat and shouted back to him, "You deserved it for almost trying to kill a kid you mindless idiot!"

"Where do you get off-"

However, Nappa was interrupted as the three new warriors went to join with their friend Goku, who went to his son's side. The three of them continued to stare down at Nappa and Vegeta. Vegeta was unamused but cautious. However, Nappa was even more irritated by their ignorance. They had the nerve to talk down to him and not respond as if he was not there at all. Vegeta finally moved from his spot to take a good look at Goku, who had regrouped with his new friends.

"Welcome Kakarot. So nice of you to join us."

At last, hope has finally arrived. Goku has finally joined the fray. And he is not alone, for his joined in the company of his new found friends Sora, Donald, and Goofy. However, so many lives have been lost at the hands of Nappa. With so much death around the air, can Sora be able to muster the courage to face the evil Saiyan menace? Will all of his training with King Kai mean something in the end? Will this battle inevitably affect for the rest of the future battles he has yet to face? Let's find out on the next chapter of Kingdom Hearts Z!

On the next chapter of Kingdom Hearts Z, Sora alongside Donald and Goofy decide to face Nappa in Goku's stead as the latter conserves his energy for Vegeta. However, as the fight begins, the trio realize that Nappa is far more brutal than any opponent Sora has ever faced. However, he begins to use his new found training to use. And with the power of magic, Sora may even be able to catch Nappa of guard. Can Sora win the day? Can he and his fellow companions fight the might of the evil Nappa? And can he prove to these Saiyans that good will win the day?
