Summary: "Mother said her brother was born stupid. He looked funny, not normal, ugly, and it made Mother cry sometimes."
Notes: Well, this is told from the viewpoint of an unnamed sister of Gluttony. Keep in mind this could be up to 399 years ago, and stuff. Anyway, if you didn't get the drift, their father was a pretty good alchemist. I don't know why I wrote this. It was odd and popped into my head one day, while wondering who on earth would want to revive Gluttony and why he wasn't like the other Homunculi. Enjoy.

Her father had been an alchemist. She remembered, because her mother once told her so, and she always remembered what her mother told her. She also remembered that her mother said that Father had to leave, because everyone knows alchemists make the worst sort of parents. Sometimes Mother said he was dead. But sometimes Mother talked like he was still around to hear her.

Father was around long enough to make a brother for her with Mother. She had been three, but she didn't remember Father because Mother told her not to. Mother said that Father didn't deserve to be remembered. She always listened to what Mother said, because Mother was always right.

Mother said her brother was born stupid. He looked funny, not normal, ugly, and it made Mother cry sometimes. Brother was ugly and stupid and fat. Mother said Brother needed extra help. It made her jealous when Mother had to spend all her time with Brother, but Brother needed the extra attention, because he wasn't allowed to take care of himself.

She thinks that's why everyone knows alchemists make the worst sort of parents. Because they give you stupid, ugly, fat children and don't make fix them. Alchemists are supposed to fix their mistakes.

Mother got sick and died, because Brother always needed so much and Mother couldn't give him enough. The doctor said she died of pneumonia. She knew Mother died because she was fed up with Brother. But Mother told her to take care of Brother, because Brother wasn't allowed to take care of himself. And she always listened to what Mother said, because Mother was the only one who always knew what to do.

But Brother died anyway. She doesn't know if it was her fault, but he'd fallen down the stairs when she wasn't looking. It made her sad, but not really. It mostly made her angry and ashamed. Brother never listened to her, and now he made her disobey Mother. It was Brother's fault she didn't listen to what Mother said.

There was a woman in town who helped her fix Brother. The woman said she'd do it if she gave her all of Father's papers. The woman was an alchemist and she said she could fix her stupid, ugly, fat, dead brother. And she did.

She smiled and patted her brother on his cheek and told him he was all right now. Mother wasn't going to be angry now, because she'd taken good care of him. He told her he was hungry and she nodded and patted his cheek again. Then he bit off her hand and she screamed.

The woman laughed and said, "Now, now, Gluttony, be nice, your sister went to a lot of trouble to fix you."

"Can I eat her?" Brother asked. The woman said she didn't mind.

So he did.
