Authors Foreword:

Here in this place are gathered bits and pieces of stories that - while not complete - begged to be told. This is in effect a bin of sorts, where writings that would otherwise be abandoned and languish, unread and unknown, can be placed without unduly effecting my other works.

Many of these short stories are based on the Silmarillion and the Book of Lost Tales both volumes 1 and 2. Truthfully speaking, they are my head-cannon, or how I view the course of events in my own mind. As such, while they may adhere closely with what has been written as 'canon' in Tolkiens writings they will by no means adhere to it religiously and there is bound to be assumption and conjecture within these tales.

That being said, if you are a 'purist' you may find some stories 'incorrect' or in conflict with your own perception of how events were intended to have transpired. However; whatever deviations there may be I hope that they are slight, or that where they deviate they do so to the enrichment of the story of Eä as a whole.

Stories are in no particular order, but are posted as I think of them. There are no original characters as there really is no need for it. Some stories will be completely original in the telling, others will be retelling of old tales where they mesh with some new information or are told from another perspective or are told in a different format through which more depth is added, some will be continuations of where a story was left off. The phrasing will be entirely mine and if for some unforeseeable reason I deem it necessary to quote, such quotes will be noted with a reference back to the text it came from.

Tolkiens works are of course his own and I have no claim to any of it, nor do I claim any authority on the subject. ( I am just a fan after all )
