Uh, it's been a while… isn't it? Years, I think?

…

Wow. And to think it took three weeks of being isolated at home to finally get to writing again. Doesn't say a lot of positive things about my trustworthiness huh.

I deeply apologize to you all for my extended silence. I honestly had expected that by now my life would be improved. Still hadn't gotten a reliable job, but I'm studying to get one. And with the pandemic, I think my exams will be even further delayed. *sigh* As long as everyone gets proper medical attention, I guess all's good.

But enough about me! I sincerely hope that all of you are taking the necessary precautions to fight COVID-19. I know, I know, you don't need me to repeat what the news, politicians, medics and pretty much everyone says. But seriously guys, it's for your own protection and your loved ones' wellbeing, especially the elders. And fortunately, unlike maybe twenty to twenty-five years ago, we have plenty (and I mean PLENTY) of ways to keep boredom at bay. You just have to look.

So please, allow me to be annoyingly repetitive. Please stay at home, stay safe, get something productive to do - though I know that's hard because we're stuck in our own houses - and try to stay positive and hold on. This situation sucks, but we'll overcome this crisis.

And now onto the fanfiction news! I have both good news and bad news in that regard.

Good news is, I'm so tired and bored of studying laws that I think in my free-time - when I'm not helping my family with cleaning the house - I'll get back to writing! Of course, that would be only temporary, so sorry about that in advance. I'll properly warn you next time I go AFK though, don't worry.

Bad news is… that I'm so, SO stuck with my two fanfics that I think I'm gonna do a clean-up here too. With that, I mean that I'll do a remake version of both of them. Here's what I planned to do:

For This Never-Ending Story, it'll probably stay mostly the same, because I got to love Koga as a character and though I found some inconsistencies in the story (along with awful grammar mistakes, ugh), overall, all I need to do is tweak it a little bit. Make some chapters longer, change some fighting scenes, you name it.

As for Guardian Angel… suffice to say, I hate it. Now don't get me wrong, the ideas I thought - and still not revealed, whoops - are actually pretty good, but it was poorly executed. Most of the chapters were rushed up, in trying to make my character interesting I instead turned it a bit bland, and even the AU scenes I had planned up (look at chapter 14 for example) is all so jumbled that most of you even sent me private messages to explain what the hell was going on there! And by the time I actually wanted to explain, I was already AFK.

So yeah. Both of my fics will go under a heavy remake. Although This Never-Ending Story will mostly stay the same, Guardian Angel will have an almost complete transformation. New relations with the canon characters, a new character with a new story - still reborn Self-Insert, still with almost the same background I planned for him, but different Quirk and different personality. It will be AU of course, 'cause why not. And I'm debating about making him knowledgeable about the BNHA universe. Thoughts about that please?

Oh, before I forget! ALL OF THESE CHANGES WON'T BE IN THE CURRENT FANFICS THAT ARE PUBLISHED! Soon-ish there will be two news fanfics that will be the remakes of This Never-Ending Story and Guardian Angel, under different titles, but you'll know they're remakes 'cause I'll make it obvious for you. So keep an eye out for them!

So I think that's all that I wanted to say. As I said before, please take care of yourselves and your families, and don't forget to be positive and keep yourselves away from boredom! Take advantage of this seclusion to forge deeper connections with your family (I actually got a bit more understanding of my step-sister thanks to this, small blessings) and to tidy up that closet that you've been holding off for years… I know you have one.
