Percy walks up to Annabeth, grinning slightly. "Hey, Wise Girl," he says cheerfully, almost too cheerfully.

Annabeth looks at him suspiciously and replies, "Is there anything wrong, Seaweed Brain?"

"No, nothing," he returns, still grinning, and he clears his throat. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" Percy asks loudly.

"No, I actually clawed my way up from the depths of hell," Annabeth answers dryly, scowling.

"That would explain why you're so hot!" Percy exclaims, laughing. Annabeth stares blankly back at him. "Sorry, sorry," he mutters, taking a step back. "Alright then, are you from Tennessee?"

"Percy, you know I'm from Virginia! What's up with you today?" Annabeth replies, glaring at him.

"Where have you been all my life?" he questions again, his troublemaker smile beaming full force at her.

Annabeth doesn't bat an eye. "Hiding from you," she answers emotionlessly.

"You wound me so!" Percy shouts dramatically. "Your place or mine?"

"Both. You go to yours and I'll go to mine."

Percy smiles, "Are you wearing space pants? 'Cause your ass is out of this world."

Annabeth narrows her eyes and stalks off to the picnic tables, plopping down at one. Percy joins her, grins and says, "Is this seat empty?"

"Yes, and this one will be if you sit down there," comes Annabeth's reply.

Percy throws his head back and chortles, then leans in suggestively. "Wanna see my sword?"

"You mean this?" Annabeth smirks, holding up Riptide.

"What? Oh, gods dang!" Percy gapes. "Whatever," Percy leans closer. "If I saw you naked, I'd die happy."

The corner of Annabeth's mouth slides up, "If I saw you naked, I'd die laughing."

"Annnnaaaabbbbeeeeeetttthhhh!" Percy complains. He steps back, all laughter gone from his face and a mask of seriousness in its place. He smiles sheepishly and murmurs, "If a star fell from the sky every time I thought of you, there would be no more stars in the sky. But don't worry, they seem to have all landed in your eyes, for they shine like the stars themselves."

Instead of rebuffing him, Annabeth smiles. "That one was cute," she whispers and reaches up to peck him on the lips.

Please review, it means a lot to me.
