Summary: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath. Medics are protected and bound by several laws and treaties. Ninja have no such fetters. [oneshot, spoilers for Naruto Gaiden]

Sakura stared at the ugly, eye-covered son of a bitch who had been attacking her husband, her daughter, and her dearest friend.

Shin Uchiha, it seemed he called himself. He was mortally wounded, practically dying.

Sakura looked over at his son, from whom Shin had told her to harvest replacement organs.

His own son.

She looked back to the bedridden, exhausted, mortally wounded bastard who had dared to attack three of her most precious people, abducted her, and AGAIN disregarded the life of his own son as meaningless.

Sakura tried to think of a reason for herself to go along with this jackass and his demands.

She could not come up with one.

Shin, for all of the sharingan's visual prowess, didn't see her fist coming until it was far too late.

A/N: We all know this probably isn't how it will actually go, whether because of some insurance on Shin's part or some other plot device... but a fan can dream, eh? :P

Also, the release/translation of chapter 7 of Gaiden will almost certainly coincide with the ninth anniversary of my joining this site as a user, all the way back in June 11, 2006. So that's a thing that's happening, haha.
