Chapter 6: Truth Revealed

Kagome felt warmth wrapped around her as the sun began to rise in the sky and peaked through the paper door of the room that she and Bankotsu shared. She slowly opened her eyes and held her breath when she saw that Bankotsu's sleeping face in front of her. Her face turned cherry red as she noticed that Bankotsu was holding her close to his chest. He was sleeping peacefully as she continued to stare at him. She had to admit that he looked quite handsome when he was sleeping. Soon enough he opened his eyes and his cobalt irises were gazing at her.

"Good morning." Bankotsu greeted with a smile.

"Good morning." Kagome greeted back with the same gesture.

He pulled her closer and placed his lips against hers. Kagome felt like she was on fire as Bankotsu held her close while kissing her. He soon rolled them over, making him lay on top of her. Then he began to run his hands over her body. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he began to open her kimono top. He gently held her right breast as he sucked on her left. Kagome moaned at the glorious sensation that Bankotsu was doing to her body. Then his hand snuck under her kimono and stroke her womanhood as he switched breasts. She arched her back at his touch and clench her hands on the futon. Unexpectedly one of his fingers entered her womanhood. She let out a loud moan of pleasure as Bankotsu added another finger and started teasing her insides.

"Ba-Ban-kot-suu." Kagome breathed out.

"You like that, huh?" Bankotsu teased.

"Ha-Hai." Kagome answered.

At that moment, an unknown feeling entered her body and it felt like she was going to explode. Before she could scream, Bankotsu pushed his lips against hers and somehow her body released a hot yet relaxing feeling that left her out of breath. Then he let go of her lips and she started panting. She had never had that kind of intense feeling before.

"How was your first organsm?" Bankotsu smirked.

"Amazing." Kagome breathed out with a smile.

Later on that day, the two decided to leave the village and find any clues to the next shard. To Kagome, it was a nice and steady pace for the both of them. When she was with Inuyasha, they were always in a hurry. A hurry to where exactly? She questioned why he would just expect a jewel to just appear right in front of him. That did happen a few times. He believed that he had the right to choose which direction despites everyones' opinions.

Kagome and Bankotsu soon arrived at a fork in the road. One lead to a nearby village while the other would lead to an even longer road.

"Bankotsu, which one should we choose?" Kagome asked.

"Well, if we go down this way, we won't know if we'll find a village. But if we go down the other, we'll be able to stop and rest for a while." Bankotsu pointed out, "Do you sense a jewel shard nearby?"

"No, I don't. Sorry." Kagome apologized.

"It's okay." Bankotsu said, "Let's go to the nearby village. Sound good?"

"Hai." Kagome answered.

"There was a miko here earlier who went after the jewel shard." The village leader informed. Miroku and Sango, along with Shippo, went to the village alone while Inuyasha and Kikyo were waiting for them near the edge of the village. They wanted to ask the leader if there have been rumors of a jewel shard or a demon prowling around.

"A miko?" Miroku asked, brow arched.

"Hai, quite a beautiful one, too." The village leader said.

"What did she look like?" Sango asked, curious.

"Long black hair with a tint of blue. Her eyes were in a light shade of blue. She wore miko robes, but her hakama was sapphire blue. She was with someone else as well." The village leader described. Miroku, Sango, and Shippo knew who that miko was: Kagome! But who was she with?

"Someone else?" Sango questioned, brow arched.

"What did the person look like?" Miroku added.

"It was a young man. He looked a little bit older than her. He had long black hair that was braided. He had a purple tattoo in the shape of a four star on his forehead. He was dressed like a warrior of some sort." The village leader answered, rubbing his chin.

The three froze at that moment. There was only one person who had a purple four star shape tattoo on his forehead and long black braided hair: Bankotsu! But why was Kagome with him?

It was later that afternoon after Kikyo went off to the woods to do something. Perfect timing to interrogate Inuyasha. When his pack mates walked up to him, his ears went down when noticed their expressions: suspicious.

"Inuyasha, there's something missing in your story." Miroku said, narrowing his violet eyes at the inu hanyō.

"W-What do you mean, Miroku?" Inuyasha stuttered while backing away a little from the cursed monk.

"You said that Kagome went home. The village leader said that he saw a miko with long black hair with blue tints and sapphire blue eyes found and purified a jewel shard. There's only one person who fits that description." Miroku said, walking towards Inuyasha who was now cornered against a tree.

"In other words, you lied to us, Inuyasha." Sango said, standing next to Miroku.

"N-No, I-I didn't! M-Maybe she decided to come back." Inuyasha said, nervously while raising his hands in front of him. Miroku glared at Inuyasha. He knew that Inuyasha was hiding something and he was going to find out. Sango, Shippo, and Kirara were also glaring at Inuyasha. Then Sango unsheathed her sword.

"Out. With. It, Inuyasha." Sango said, pointing the tip of the blade at Inuyasha's nose.

"O-Okay. I drove Kagome off a cliff." Inuyasha admitted.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" Miroku, Sango, and Shippo exclaimed.

"How could you such a thing?!" Sango yelled.

"I-I d-don't know-know." Inuyasha stuttered.

"You don't know?!" Miroku exclaimed, "You don't know why you drove Kagome-chan off a cliff?!"

"I only remember a few pieces of the memory! I swear!" Inuyasha yelped. All of his pack mates glared heatedly at him for a few seconds and then they started packing their things. "W-What the heck are you doing?"

"Leaving, you're on your own, Inuyasha." Miroku declared.

"But-But we're a team. We need each other!" Inuyasha shouted.

"You don't need us." Miroku stated.

"All you need is Kikyō." Sango added.

"You'll be fine without us." Shippo agreed. Kirara mewed in agreement.

"B-B-But you can't! We're pack!" Inuyasha shouted.

"Not anymore." Miroku confirmed.

With that being said, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo had their things packed and were ready to leave.

"Goodbye, Inuyasha." The three said before they walked off, leaving a broken hearted hanyo behind them.
