Prologue:

Who Are You Really?

"And you're just an analyst...right? Right? Right! Who are you really, Brandt?"

She placed the best lost expression she could do, trying to maintain her confused role. "What are you asking?"

She can clearly see the irritated look in Ethan's brown eyes said a lot. "What am I asking? Maybe this..." he pulled out a pistol and aimed on Brandt.

Brandt's training and past kicked in. She grabbed Ethan's wrist and took his gun before aiming it at the agent. Ethan stood where he was, not bothered by the fact that there was gun pointed at him.

"How does a agent with skills like that get into analysts?"

Brandt emitted the gun after lowering it, no use to hiding now. "Well, we all have our secrets..."

-Serects-

The sounds of children crying brought a evil grin to the doctor's blood red lips. She watched as the nurses put the babies on two separate beds just as a man with black short hair walked in wearing a white doctors coat.

"What do we have, Doctor Austin?"

The man was looking at a folder that was just handed to them before moving his hazel eyes towards the blonde who had her emerald gaze on him. "A boy and a girl, from different families. But-"

"What! I want brothers! At least some type sibling connection! My plan will not work unless I have brothers or sisters!"

Austin raised his hands before walking slowly over and handed the folder to the blonde. "I understand that Hanna, but what we got is much better. Besides, one did have a brother but he was too old."

Hanna glared at the man before snatching the folder and glanced at photos. There were two caucasian children, one boy and one girl, no more than three years old. They both had medium brown hair and pale blue eyes. Her own silver- hazel eyes glistened as she seen what her partner was talking about. The test subjects looked just alike. She grinned, perfect...she can imagine the cash for look alike super soldiers. She will do what people have been dying to redo since Howard Stark. But she will do it better.

She closed the folder before shoving it in the male doctor's hands. "What are their names?" she was slightly irritated that information wasn't on file.

Austin grabbed the yellow folder before it could hit the floor as he silently crushed the staff in charge on putting the information in the file. "Well the girl, we didn't find out her name, but her family's estate was burned to the ground. Only survivor, as for the boy, we got him after a staged car crash. His name is Clint Francis Barton."

Hanna nodded before looking into the room where tubes were hooked up to the toddlers, as silver liquid entered their bodies. "I have an idea what to name the girl, she will be a protector, dweller on burnt land..."

Austin backed up at the dark laughter that left the woman's lips, "I don't follow, Hanna..."

Hanna groaned before snapping her eyes towards the man. "You fool! Her name will be...Willa Brandt."

Austin looked from the head doctor to the window that showed into the operation room as the children let out blood-chilling screams.
