You know what this is? Yea that's right! It's a Frozen and Ranma crossover! I'm happy to say that this is the first of its kind that will most likely die a horrible death due to its incompatibility. But hey! This is fanfiction and let's see how far I can take this. This is set in the 1800s so there will obviously be many changes in the Ranma universe. I'm not too sure what the pairing will be either but I'll work along as I go. Now let's see how this Disney movie and manga/anime series works!

Prologue

The people of a small unnamed port were going on with their daily lives but stopped and stared in stupor when they saw a strange figure in the distance. The figure was quickly approaching them. It turned out the figure was two people, one on top of another. What was strange was that the smaller individual was on the bottom and the larger individual was on top. The man would constantly look behind him as if there was something chasing them. The inhabitants decided to ignore this strange occurrence and quickly went on with their businesses.

"Where are we going pops?" A high pitched voice called out, "and do I really have to carry you?"

There was a small pause "and what did you do this time? Why are we running again?"

"Just go where I tell you too boy! If I remember correctly in my teens ther-"

"-ancient times?" Ranma interrupted. For some reason there was something ironic to that statement.

Genma quickly flicked his son on his forehead and continued his story while masterfully ignoring the last two questions his son had asked. "I remember long time ago there was an old castle in the middle of the sea! My old friend Soun and I trained under... him in the ruins of the castle and the mountains nearby. There was a ruined city there too." The large man shivered to himself fearfully at the mentioning of the training. "And boy! Complaining is for little girls! This is strength and stamina training, now carry me to that dock, we're going for a swim." He then muttered to himself "Darn ships demanded gold and silver instead of the real currency." Ranma grudgingly complied grumbling along the way. Speaking of ships Genma noticed strange ever since he got out that museum, things looked... different.

It was a strange sight, a small boy of around seven hunched down due to a heavyset man sitting cross legged on the small boy's back. In addition, on the man's back was one large bag, presumably containing all their belongings. Miraculously the boy was holding up despite the lopsided arrangement. The boy was able to carry his luggage with a few teeters here and there.

The young boy dubbed Ranma had his hair tied into a ponytail and his face was devoid of the baby fat any other child would have. His clothing was composed of what used to be a white gi, throughout the gi were many rips and tears along with various smudges of dirt. The man on the boy's back, Genma, was the boy's father a bulging man with glasses and a white bandanna covering his balding head. Both males had oriental facial features and were speaking in a language different to those around them.

The small boy trudged towards the dock, mumbling about diets. Eventually they reached the docks and Ranma flung his "luggage" into the water causing a large splash and then stood straight up, releasing a sigh of relief as he was unburdened. Ranma quickly stretched off a few kinks and jumped in the water, landing on his just resurfacing father.

"So where to?" Ranma asked while trading the water. Before answering, Genma smacked his son on the head as a consequence of being thrown suddenly into the chilling waters.

"Treat your elders with respect boy!" the older man said gruffly. The man then switched to almost flawless English, "As I already said, we're going to hidi- er training, it's on an island not too far from here so we're going to swim there." The man started to swim out into the sea. "Speak English boy, everybody around here does." The child frowned a bit wondering why his father wanted to go somewhere else so abruptly but quickly decided he didn't want to be alone and quickly swam after his father.

Arendelle was a very peaceful and beautiful place. Arendelle was a major trading port and was located on a large mountain range with a bridge that led to its castle in the middle of the sea, the only way to get back and there was through boats. The kingdom rarely experienced war, kidnappings, raids (except for one unusual one), or anything of the sort. While they received a variety of different items to sell and buy, their main export was ice. Travelers were always welcomed to their kingdom. However these travelers would come by boat, so it would come as a major surprise when they noticed two figures swimming towards their homes. Several of those people recognized the oriental features of the figures and slowly backed away into their houses, locking the doors behind them. The women made sure they had a strong hold to their undergarments.

By the time the two reached the shore to the mountains, the streets were completely empty except for a couple merchants who were baffled to the sudden disappearance of their customers. The two travelers made their way into the streets and into what was supposed to be a busy marketplace.

It was glaringly obvious to the cause of the disappearance. Ranma suspiciously looked at his father, who had a look of bewilderment on his wet face as if he was trying to remember something. Ranma called out "Pops…" Ranma stretched his father's name accusingly, "what did you do?" If Genma had heard Ranma's question he did not show it. He had a sudden look of insight and started muttering words about the past and curses. Genma patted his son on the back strangely and started to move towards the center of the city, trying his best to look innocent and apart of the crowd. But before he could get anywhere, ten guardsmen cautiously approached the duo. The guardsmen were in their early 20s in solid green uniforms with small gold epaulettes on the shoulders, all ten of them were holding pikes defensively pointed more at the heavyset man. Nine of the ten young men were extremely curious as to why this one man was regarded dangerously and why their captain despite being professional glanced around worriedly as if searching for something. Their captain was a man that looked the age of Genma, and stood proud and tall even though his eyes showed his nervousness. The captain cleared his throat. Genma took a look at the men in front of him. He could easily take out the men but curiosity got the better of Genma and decided not to put up a fight, yet.

"Ahem, mister... Easterner" the captain spoke hesitantly, unsure of how to approach the Eastern man. The last time a man of his kind arrived to Arendelle... well let's say he did not leave a good impression. Especially to the women. "Do you speak English?" the captain continued. Genma nodded. Ranma was a bit surprised that the law reached to the two of them so quickly. But then again he wasn't too surprised as his father was well known by law enforcement. In fact he was infamous in several government authorities. As the captain asked the questions people looked out their windows scanning the area for any gnomes. The uniformed man kept talking, "are you related to a short man of your race? He wore dark red clothing, short black hair, and always had a bag of" The man paused, coughing in to his fist. "undergarments on his back. Specifically female undergarments." This was an awkward topic.

Genma had a look of fear wash over his face as he realized exactly who the man in question was but it washed away to curiosity as, he had a bald head with a little fluff of white behind his ears. He answered the question, "I assure you. The man I believe you're speaking of is trapped in a cave." And just like magic the streets were filled and the people doing their daily business with a few older people wearily glancing once in a while at the oriental man. Ranma couldn't help but have a small sweat drop on the back of his head. Who in the world were they talking about?

Ranma looked around the area. Didn't his father say that it was a ruined city? Nonetheless the city looked very different to Japan and the many other countries he had been to on his extended 'training trip.' The people were dressed in simple clothing composed of wool. The women wore simple dresses and the men wore brown trousers and plain colored shirts. A couple people here and there wore slightly more extravagant clothing. They were in the middle of a market and he could see men of different races selling various products, some of those products being food as he sniffed he was able to get a whiff of the aroma of meats coming from several of the stands. His stomach growled in response to the stimuli and he left to see if he could get any eats, after all after swimming continually for several hours he would indeed be hungry.

The guards still stood where they were before, but seeing their captain much more relaxed they too relaxed their postures. The captain had a look of relief on his face and shook his head quickly and regained his posture. "What brings you to the kingdom of Arendelle?" the captain asked.

"I'm need a place to stay for a bit."

"Where do you come from? It's a long way from your country no?" the captain asked.

Gears started to turn in Genma's head. The word 'kingdom' echoed in his head. Maybe this little trip to Europe can turn out to be something good in the future. Genma had a quick vision of laying back in a bed of gold munching on a drumstick as his son was caring for him. Genma quickly shook himself out of his stupor before he could be questioned about his blank look. There was something he absolutely had to make sure of.

"What year is it?"

"…" the captain couldn't believe the man in front of him. Are all men from the East crazy? "1835 AC" He informed. "Why?"

The Genma nervously scratched the back of his head. He could feel impending doom in the future both soon and later, the captain noticed the man in front of him continuously cautiously glancing behind him and unconsciously shifting his body to run away. But nevertheless he answered the man's question. "No reason. Heh. A long work out can do strange things for the mind. Heh." He quickly turned and scanned the ocean behind him.

The captain gave him a blank stare. The captain looked around him and noticed the child that was with the balding man was gone. Before he could inquire about the missing boy, a frantic guard came running up to the captain and told him something about a ship searching for a fat balding man with glasses in a white uniform. The police were apparently searching for the man under the crime of thievery and came to arrest the man. As Genma heard that, he started sweating profusely and slowly started to back away. By the time the captain turned around to the described culprit he couldn't help but sigh pathetically as he saw the man gone.
