As the Silent Stars Go By

Upon this ship, the Marathon,

In silent sleep we lie.

Across the dark of empty space,

The silent stars go by.

We seek Tau Ceti's light.

But until that time does come to pass,

We remain in darkest night.

A world for our rebirth.

Beyond the UESC's reach,

Beyond the reach of Earth.

Some see it as their destiny,

To expand mankind's domain.

To expand the final frontier large,

Across the astral plane.

And many have their own deep reasons,

But for now we slumber in the dark,

Dream within cryo-sleep.
