Iceland curled in on himself, groaning as the hot pain in his lower stomach grew. "I-if this is what period cramps feel like, I'm g-glad I wasn't born a girl." He grumbled, squeezing his eyes shut as another coughing fit wracked through him. A hoarse rattling could be heard in his chest, and Denmark frowned as he hovered over the Icelandic nation. "You sure you're gonna be okay, Icey?"
Opening his eyes a little bit, Iceland squinted at the older nation leaning over him, only to close them again as another wave of pain washed over him. "I'll be fine... It's been worse." He mumbled, gritting his teeth and digging his nails into his palms.
A cool hand rested on his forehead, and sighing Iceland leaned into the cool touch. "Just rest, little brother." Norway said quietly, draping another blanket over Iceland's huddled form. "It's too hot," Iceland whined, kicking his feet in an effort to kick the blanket off himself. "Keep it on. Your skin is cold, even if it doesn't feel like it." Norway scolded. "Go to the store, and see if you can get some tylenol or something. It might help with the fever, even if it's not a regular cold." Norway ordered Denmark, turning to the Dane and pointing towards the door.
Denmark nodded and grabbed his boots and a coat, taking a last worried look at Iceland before heading out the door.
"Lukas... It hurts..." Iceland whimpered, his violet eyes staring up at Norway pitifully. "Can you sing to me?"
Momentarily Norway entertained the thought of taking advantage of Iceland's condition and getting him to call him big brother, but then he sighed and kneeled beside the couch Iceland was currently curled up on. "Yeah." He agreed, smoothing Iceland's sweaty white hair away from his forehead.
"Snowflake, snowflake,
little snowflake,
little snowflake,
falling from the sky,
Snowflake, snowflake, little snowflake,
falling, falling, falling, falling, falling,
falling, falling, falling, falling...
Falling on my head."
Iceland had moved so he was pressed closer to Norway, his eyes slowly dropping closed as Norway sang quietly.
"Snowflake, snowflake,
little snowflake,
little snowflake,
falling from the sky,
Snowflake, snowflake, little snowflake,
falling, falling, falling, falling, falling,
falling, falling, falling, falling...
Falling on my nose."
Iceland's breaths had evened out, and he still shook now and then from small coughs, but they weren't as harsh as before. Norway smiled gently and kissed Iceland's forehead, running his hands through the silver hair. "Sweet dreams, little brother."
