The Doctor walked through the various booths that had filled up the Luna University grounds until he had gotten to one containing a certain River Song. It was a kissing booth and he found that fitting.

"Hello Doctor," River greeted. The lack of sweetie felt odd to him. She was wearing a rather revealing blue top and vibrant red lipstick, he hoped that it wasn't hallucinogenic lipstick not that he believed she would inflict that on innocent fair goers. "Did you come to buy a kiss? The money is going to a good cause."

"Where are we for you?" the Doctor asked.

"Berlin was some time ago," River said. Well that at least could explain her calling him Doctor, calling someone sweetie after you were the reason for their near death was odd he supposed. So was asking the same person if they wanted to buy a kiss. "There's not going to be some invasion at the fair is there?"

"No. Yes. Well maybe. I just thought that I'd check in on you." He swayed back and forth on his heels, unsure of what he was supposed to do now. It felt unsettling for lack of a better word to realize that he was much further along their time line than she was. "I guess we haven't done Jim the Fish yet."

"I look forward to it." River smiled slyly at him. "If the word is at no hurry to end this time then maybe we can get some coffee after I'm done."

The Doctor had a big loopy grin on his face. "Of course. I'll just check out some of the other booths in the meantime. I hope one of them has cotton candy. I love cotton candy. There's a planet with bushes made of that stuff you know. Well its not really cotton candy and you shouldn't eat it., similar texture and taste though. And this fair on Addropillix that makes it in the most unique flavours."

River nodded. "Fascinating Doctor but people are starting to visit the booths." The Doctor looked around.

"Indeed there are." He straightened his bowtie and winked at her. "Well see you around River Song."

She chuckled. "See you around Doctor." And with that the Doctor set off to explore the rest of the fair. River only hoped that he wouldn't get into trouble. At least not any trouble that the two of them couldn't handle.

I don't remember if Addropillix is an actual planet from any sci-fi thing, its just what came to mind for a planet name and I guess pronounced how its looks.
