Two bloody short hours...I am gonna kill Dimitri. Rose is coming back from her early Elite Mission in two hours. She has been gone since just after the attack on the school. Although she was already listed for the Elite Squad after graduation because of Spokane, her valiant and courageous efforts in the attack and rescue had given her 3 weeks to rest and train before being sent away.

Poor Dimitri! He has become so sullen and withdraw since Rose went on the mission three months ago; lost his guarding partner, student and soulmate. Rose was planning to return with the elite team for her trials and official graduation ceremony to receive her promise mark...but there is ever any guarantees being in the field whether they will return in time or at all. He has insisted in guarding all my classes and basically being my shadow as if we were in the human world. I can sort of understand why he does this: he has to keep me safe for Rose so she can focus on her mission without having to worry about me every second, it is so sweet what he is willing to do for her. Anyway, back to the reason I am going to kill Dimitri.

But now I have officially gotten work that Rose will be back in two hours to complete her trials and graduation which is occurring in 3 hours. That gives me a total of an hour to get Rose and I ready for graduation. We have half an hour break in between trials for the dhampirs to get ready.I haven't heard from Rose in 3 months but I know she has been checking on me through the bond, no one was meant to have contact with her but always breaking the rules she got in contact with Dimitri a few times. We could always tell when he had heard from her: he would smile a full smile that reached his eyes, he would walk off to the side of the group whispering soft "I love you's" into the phone, he would be more relaxed. It was also at the times when he needed it the most. It was as if through the bond she would see he needed a pick me and she would ring him...however, she always made sure to send a discreet message to us "her friends" But enough complaining I get to see my best friend.
