Entry for the "Speed Drabble" at "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (Challenges and Assignments)" - prompt: street, rose, "I want a pink one."

Ron Weasley had a relaxed smile on his face as he walked down Diagon Alley, his daughter Rose jumping up and down next to him, holding his hand.

It was cute, he thought, that his daughter was so excited about spending a day alone with her father, only the two of them having a small shopping trip.

They had already visited Flourish & Blotts to buy her some new books about fairytales and now they were heading down the street to get some delicious ice cream.

"Daddy, daddy, look!," Rose suddenly exclaimed as they had nearly reached their destination, her small finger pointing towards a small booth that was selling flowers. "Can you buy me a flower, daddy? I want a pink one!"

Ron looked down at her and grinned widely as he saw how his daughter looked at him with her heart-melting, puppy-like eyes, clutching her new books in one arm.

"Okay then... a rose for my beautiful Rose," Ron smiled, once again realising that he simply could not deny his little princess her innocent little wishes.
