The first time she cries over Skype, his heart breaks in two because he want to be there to hold her and kiss her and wipe her tears away and tell her how much he loves her in person and just be with her. But they're states away he's in Ohio she is in New York far from each other and both of them are too busy to drop everything and be together.

So he puts his hand to the screen, and tries to smile.

"Don't cry, baby. We'll see each other soon."

The second time she cries over Skype, he misses her so much and he can't take her tears and soon isn't soon enough.

So as soon as he hangs up with her, he calls Will and tells him to he can't help with glee club this week. he warns him how disappointed the students will be , but he damns it all and buys a plane ticket to New York .

When he lands in New York , he calls her.

"Do you think you could come get me at the airport?"

"Like…the JFK airport?"

"Yeah."

Her squeal of delight is everything to him.

And the look on her face when she gets out of the taxi to greet him, the way she kisses him hello, is worth upsetting any students for.
