Waking Up In Dragon Ball Chapter 1

The first thing that I noticed when I woke up, the sky had changed to be a brighter blue. I sat up, still staying on the ground and placing my hand behind my back on the ground, looking around. I got up, in awe. I was so scared that I was some place different, but I was also excited too. I get to explore again. I heard footsteps behind me, and I turned around. It was a small boy with pitch black spiky hair and black eyes. He had a tail.

'Who are you, are you a bad guy?' The kid asked.

'My name's Riku, and trust me, I'm not a bad guy.' I answered.

'Your name sounds just like my name, by the way, my name's Goku.'

With that, I was pretty much in shock.

'Goku, that sounds familiar, where have I heard that before?' I thought to myself as I put my finger on my chin, tapping it.

'For some reason, your name sounds familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.' I said, looking Goku up and down.

'Have we met before?' Goku asked. I shrugged.

'Goku! Where are you- Oh, there you are!' A girl that looked like my age with blue hair came running towards us, wearing a dress that said Bulma.

'Who's this?' She asked.

'This is Riku, we just met a few minutes ago.' Goku said, putting his hand behind his head.

'Nice to meet you I guess. My name's Bulma.' Bulma said, putting out her hand to shake. I shook hands with her, and she gave me a smile.

'You look about to be my age, so how old are you?' Bulma asked.

'First, how old are you?' I asked, making us both chuckle.

'Alright, I'll say mine first. I'm 13. And Goku over there is 7.' Bulma said, pointing to herself then at Goku.

'Oh really, I'm 13 too.' I replied.

'That's neat! Do you know what these are? If you do, wanna help us find them?' Bulma said, digging in her bag and puling out an orb. I put my finger on my chin tapping it again. Then I snapped my finger when I knew what it was.

'Yeah, that's a DragonBall.' I answered Bulma's question.

'So, you wanna help us find 'em?' Bulma asked again.

'Sure! I'd love to Bulma.' I answered her again.

'Great! There's one up ahead. Just follow me.' Bulma said, leading the way as Goku followed behind her, and I followed behind him.
