Dick sit in one of the chair provided in the massive Wayne Manor library. A book is opened in front of him and he chew on his pen. Even with the help of coffee, he can't really concentrate. His mind just go back to that horrible event all over and over again.

The boy that he couldn't save, their fingertips touched. He was so close to saving him but he has failed. If he was just smarter, it wouldn't have happened. Why was he so stupid. he should have inspect the area first.

Their parent never forgive Robin for her failure. he never forgive herself for it too. Their only child died and it's all because he's too stupid.

Today was his funeral. He beg Bruce to fund the funeral anonymously, giving them the most beautiful coffin and pick the best spot in the cemetery. He knows that money can't bring their boy back but it is the only way she knows he can do to apologize as of the moment. Right now action speaks louder than word. He couldn't even attend the funeral cause he was Robin at the time, it has no relation what so ever with Dick Grayson but Robin did hid in the trees, watching mournfully in the distance. When everyone left, he went to the tombstone whose name spelled the boy he never got to save because he's a failure. He crouch and give a single strand of anemone flower. He didn't say anything, there's nothing to be said. There's nothing to be done. It won't bring him back. There's no one to blame but himself.

It's his fault. It's utterly his fault. All of it. He's tempted to throw a tantrum, but he doesn't have the energy to do so. He's a walking disaster.

His rough hand trace the cup of coffee lightly then grip it hard like he's trying to strangle it to death but he's only trying to bear the ache in his heart. His eyes turn glassy, his face as red as blood, The blood of the boy.

He is so focus on trying to control his emotion, he didn't realize the presence of another soul. A soul that he perceive as comforting and his always supporter. Her hand close the book in front of him and take the cup away from his grasp.

Gently, gently as her personality is, she engulf him in her embrace. He let everything out cause he can't help it. It's too much for him. She rock him back and forth, petting his back as he likes it. The only word coming out of her mouth is, "It'll be okay"
