This was it. This was the day Rigby would finally man up for once and ask her out.. Maybe. It was a long shot wasn't it? The particular mole he recently became fond of has wormed her way into his heart. At first he wouldn't say that he hated Eileen, but he didn't like her either. She was quite annoying actually, with an extremely creepy crush on him. Now, thinking of her still liking him sent explosions through his stomach. Recently they started talking more, and before he knew it they were friends. He would stop by to watch movies with her, and sometimes just to see her because he wanted to. He noticed she became low key with the crush she had on him. She would blush less, and speak more naturally to him instead of fumming over words. He was quite relieved when this change swept through Eileen, but now he kind of wishes she made it obvious she liked him so he would know if she still did or not.

He took a breath and walked to her doorstep. He rang the white doorbell, waiting in anticipation. After what felt like years, the door opened and the girl he fancied was facing him. "Oh hey Rigby! You're right on time, come in! I have snacks set up on the coffee table and a stack of movies next to them. Pick one and put in the DVD player, I'll be back in a moment." She walked toward the kitchen. Rigby walked inside, shutting the door gently behind him.

This could be counted as a date, right? He sighed. No it wasn't.

After putting in a horror movie called, 'SLASH' he sat on her couch, waiting for her return. 30 seconds approximately went by before the mole returned with 2 sodas. She handed one to Rigby before sitting down next to him, but not as close as he would've liked.

"Oh I heard good things about this movie. Lets hope its actually scary." Eileen joked, before immediately being engrossed in the film. Rigby smiled at her, trying to not make it obvious he was staring at her.

Her petite stature, brown hair, and bright smile made him swoon, especially her beautiful eyes, but he couldn't let her know that yet.

Even with her glasses on, she looked quite gorgeous in his opinion. She was especially cute when she fumbled over words. He would probably give anything to see her blush over him again.

"Um.. Rigby..?" Her voice set him free of his trance. He realized he was caught. "Oh, sorry." He mumbled, a little embarassed before trying to watch the movie.

"Are you alright? You seem a bit jittery." She asked, her voice laced with a slight concern. He smiled over the thought of that. "I'm okay." He replied. Eileen nodded with a little frown, before turning back to the movie.

This was it. This was the moment. He just needed to push himself to ask her. "Hey Eileen?" There was no turning back now. "Yeah?" She asked, turning to look at him.

"This is really random but um.. Would you... Would you possibly- Um.. I mean-"
"What is it? Are you okay?"
He sighed. "I like you Eileen." Now the anticipation ensues.

Even though the lights were off, the TV being the only light illuminating in the room he could notice a bright blush cover her face. She smiled. "I'm sorry, w-would you repeat that one more time?" Her doubt of course, which was likely his fault in the first place.

"I really like you." He repeated. "As a friend though.. R-right?"

"I like you as more than just a friend. So I was wondering, would you go out with me?"

A big smile covered Eileens face, sending butterflies straight to his stomach. "Sure!" She replied with a smile. Rigby then scooted closer to her. "So uh.. lets finish the movie." Rigby said. Eileen nodded. Although they agreed to watch the movie, neither could comprehend what was on the screen.

After the movie was finished, Rigby said goodbye to her before making his way home, a big smile stuck on his face the whole way back.
