It was snowing again.

Little flakes swirled around her head as she ambled through, spinning herself ever so slightly in dizzying circles as she gazed up into the dark faux sky. They stuck to her lashes as she kept from blinking up at the powdery mass filling the space around her.

It seemed to always be snowing nowadays, not that she kept track of the days anyways, had it been a day? Hours? Years since she first arrived here? It didn't matter really. She'd reach her goal eventually. She gathered her sweater more tightly around herself, brushing off the foreign flakes from her shoulders, causing them to accumulate instead on the palms of her hand.

It was beautiful in an odd sort of way. Far more beautiful than anything she had witnessed above.
This snow was perhaps more pure than anything the human world had to offer. Although the snow underground stuck to objects way more stubbornly, she was forever brushing her hands or her person off at random times. To no avail however, once fallen it was content to stay where it lay.

She huffed and continued onwards on her journey, swaying to a tune that only she could hear. Closing her eyes, a smile appeared on her lips as the invisible chorus slowly grew into a crescendo. She swung her arm in an arc, directing the music around her. A few moments into her aria she felt a slight resistance to her movements causing her to open her eyes.

A stricken face inches from her own greeted her. Eyes that stared at her in a delightful cocktail of confusion, terror, and utter betrayal. She smiled up at the creature and held her palms out flat, waiting.
Seconds passed before the interrupter burst into its own cloud of dust, wafting down creating a pile in her tiny waiting hands. With a grin she threw her hands in the air, making it snow once again.

Ashes to ashes and monsters to dust...
