WOW. it's been a hot minute. I don't even remember all the details I had planned for this story and writing this chapter was a struggle haha. I may not continue this story but instead work on a new one, but to get back into the swing of things, I thought that I would attempt another chapter of this story, IF anyone is even still reading this haha.

Hope you guys enjoy it a little at least!

Kol chuckled as she managed to pull the large door open and slip out. This was definitely different from his usual chase. He followed behind her out the door and watched her as she ran down the long hallway. He could hear her breathing loudly as she was gathering the fabric of her nightgown and attempting to run from him at the same time. She looked back to see if he was following and caught Kol's gaze before tripping over air. Just as she was about to hit the ground, she felt a hand around her wrist, holding her only inches away from the hard, cold floor.

"Whoa." When she realised what happened, she was quickly pulled upright and immediately tried to run again, but was unsuccessful in freeing her wrist from Kol's grasp.

"No thank you after I just saved you from hurting that pretty little face of yours?" He stroked her cheek. Percy pulled away.

"Wouldn't you say it's my turn to return the favour now?" He pulled Percy closer to him and grazed his lips against her neck. She laughed, causing Kol to pull away.

"Are you honestly laughing right now?" Kol asked incredulously and looked her in the eyes.

"Believe me, I don't find this situation funny at all." She struggled to break free from his grasp yet again.

"Have we not already discovered that I am much stronger than you? What is the purpose of continuing to irritate me with all your... movement?"

"Oh," she held up her free hand in defence, "excuse me for trying to not get the blood sucked out of my body. Sorry for the minor inconvenience." She scoffed.

"Again with that wit of yours. You really do not know how to have any sort of composure, do you?" He pulled her close once again and as he brushed against her neck, her laugh returned. Kol rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Oh my gosh. Am I supposed to mask my body's natural response to being tickled as you're about to bite my neck? I'm not you, with the 1% humanity." Percy retorted. When Kol didn't answer, she turned to look at him. His smirk was the last thing she saw before finding her hands tied up in the middle of a room.

"Well. This is a...thing." Percy looked up and saw the chains. She was beginning to get annoyed at her situation. What she wanted was to get back to finding her uncle but instead was busy entertaining a twisted vampire whose idea of fun was very different from her own.

"Helloooo?" Percy yelled out. She had been chained up for what felt like an eternity.

"Can anyone hear me?" Her pleas slowly began to turn into insults.

"Kol, you twisted and perverted psycho, I don't know what you're planning, but you better..." she paused.

"Better.." A man had opened the door and was covered in shadows, there being only a few small candles lit in the room. His voice was different from Kol's.

"Who are you?" Percy squinted her eyes to try and see better, but couldn't.

"My name is Elijah." He stepped closer to get a good look at the girl that his younger brother had chained up. This was not what he was expecting when visitng his brother, but then again he was more surprised at himself for being surprised. "And who may you be?"

"I recognise you. From the party. You have to help me. I need to leave here."

Elijah grabbed her chin and forced her to look him in the eyes. "Who are you?"

"So much for you help." Percy rolled her eyes.

Elijah was intrigued. "And just where are you supposed to be at this moment? What concern of mine is it, what my brother decides to do with his.. toys." He couldn't take his eyes off of the strange girl who didn't respond to his compulsion.

"Well between you and me, I'd rather not be his toy. So if you could just kindly break these chains with that vampire strength of yours." She shook her wrists as best as she could.

"And what will I receive in return for this favor, Miss...?" He stood awfully close to her. Elijah was unable to deny that his brother's current interest was quite beautiful.

"Percy." Her heartbeat began to quicken.

How twisted am I? Currently chained up by a psychopath and I'm checking out his probably equally as psychopathic brother. Get yourself together, Percy. See, mom? This is why you should have let me hang out with boys at a younger age. I always thought that made me a little desperate and boy crazy, but I didn't think it made me THIS desperate.

"Percy. Unique name. Are you going to answer my question?" He whispered into her ear, causing her to shiver.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"Well..seeing as your predicament, there's only so much you have to offer me in this exact moment." Elijah brought his hands up to hers and slowly slid them down to her waist.

"Well then what are you waiting for?" she tilted her head to the side, exposing her neck and closed her eyes, bracing herself for the pain. When nothing happened she opened her eyes and stared at Elijah.

"What? Are you waiting for me to scream?" She was about to open her mouth but Elijah placed his finger on her lips.

"Blood is blood. That is nothing special to me. But to share a kiss with a woman as beautiful as you, that is much more rare." He looked her in the eyes and ran his thumb over her lips.

"Oh. I don't know wh-" he cut her off by placing his lips onto her and pulling her into him. He brought one hand to cup her cheek to deepen the kiss.

"Livin la vida loca." Percy thought. All this nonchalantness of her actually very serious and life threatening situation still hadn't really sunk in, and it didn't help that everyone seemed to be so intent on kissing her or doing who knows what else, which was so far from how boys reacted in her present life. It made it all seem less real.

Elijah broke the kiss. He could tell that she was running out of air. Right before he went to kiss her again, he pulled back.

"My brother is coming."

"Ok, time to break these chains now. A deal's a deal." Percy insisted.

"Fear not, Percy. I will come for you when the time is right."

With a blink, he was gone.

"You have got to be kidding me. Of course. Of course. I blame you, mom. I blame you!" She yelled out.

"What nonsense are you going on about now, Percy?" Kol entered the room and was holding a rather large feather.

"You have got to be kidding me." Percy exclaimed once she saw the feather in his hand. Kol shrugged his shoulders and smirked.

"This is why you chained me up? How long does it even take to get a feather? Especially as a vampire?" She didn't even know what to think at this point. Maybe it would be better if he would just kill her.

"I have come to realise that the longer you leave a lady waiting, the more she is willing to do whatever my heart desires." He winked at her.

"Is this really the most interesting thing you could be doing right now? You're invincible. You can literally do anything but instead you want to.. oh my gosh I don't even feel comfortable saying it...tickle me...with a large feather." She grimaced after the words left her mouth. "Just give me a minute as i throw up in my mouth."

"You really have a way about words, don't you. It is one of the main things that has kept you alive for this long. I surprisingly do enjoy it." He pointed his finger at Percy. "You are quite entertaining." He wagged his finger and used his speed to appear right in front of Percy.

"Now. Time for some fun." He raised an eyebrow and smirked.
