Sybil sighed as she sat on the edge of the bed. She crossed her arms over her front and pulled her top over her head.

"What's wrong?" Tom asked, already lying in bed and reading a book by the light of his bedside lamp.

"I'm just overtired," Sybil said. "I've had so much going on these past few weeks and it's all caught up with me today."

Sybil wiped her tired eyes with the pads of her fingers as Tom shifted in bed and came up behind her. He stroked her arms gently and kissed the side of her neck, causing Sybil to roll her head to one side. His soft touch always managed to make Sybil relax, no matter how tense she was.

Tom began to softly rub Sybil's shoulders, as she leant into his touch, easing the muscles she didn't even realise were tight.

Sybil hummed at Tom's grip, closing her eyes and enjoying the moment with her boyfriend.

"You need to look after yourself, love," Tom said.

"Mmhmm," Sybil murmured, not really with it. She desperately needed sleep and was currently running on empty.

Sybil's usual witty, sarcastic self had been hidden under a good few layers of tiredness. Tom decided that, as lovely as it was massaging Sybil's shoulders, it was probably best to allow her to get undressed and into bed properly.

Tom took his hands off her shoulders and shifted back.

"Mmm," Sybil moaned, wanting him back.

"You need to get in bed," Tom said. "Your body is telling you it needs sleep."

Sybil knew he was right, much as she didn't want to remove herself from such a lovely situation. With considerable effort, she hauled herself out of her clothes and put on an oversized old top of Tom's.

Tom pulled the covers back for her and she flopped down on the bed, her head hitting the pillow. Tom placed the duvet gently over her and kissed her shoulder.

"I love you," he said quietly.

"I love you, too," Sybil said. She didn't turn to face him. She didn't have the energy. But she found the energy to clearly declare her love for him. All that mattered right now was the two of them, and sleep.

This is my level of tiredness right at this moment. I have had a very busy couple of weeks and I am currently running on five hours of sleep, which is not something I am really capable of. So I'm expressing my tiredness through fanfic. Please leave a review!
