HYDRA made sense. It was the only thing that made sense from the moment warm, dry air rushed into her lungs as an infant. HYDRA was her mother and father, and Klaus was... Klaus was her creator. He didn't want to be considered anything less. And although many would argue that a mother could be considered as such as well, she had never managed to grasp the concept of a 'mom and dad'. Still, Klaus always told them: "HYRDA is your family, it is your mother and your father. You would not defy your parents, therefore, you will never disobey HYRDA." She would never even consider disagreeing with the medical team, let alone challenging the entire organization — or Klaus. No, he was right, HYDRA was her family. Yet, there seemed to be only one thing more important than Klaus or HYDRA to her, and that was the other six beings Klaus referred to as her teammates. In fact, she might consider them her only, real, family.

"Are you ready for mission?"

Her amber eyes followed the voice until she spotted a figure in the doorway, leaning against the frame with their arms crossed over their chest.

"Hm," she hummed as she pushed herself off her cot and grabbed the duffle bag that rested by her feet. "I was quite literally born ready for this mission, remember?"

He snorted at her comment, "You mean, you are quite literally cocky, no?"

"Don't start," she sighed as she walked over to him. She tucked a long, stray strand of red hair behind her ear. "Your accent only makes you marginally cute, but your attitude always manages to ruin it."

"I'm cute now?" He corked an eyebrow in amusement, a smirk quickly forming on his lips. "I'm cute with bad attitude? Most girls find this attractive, no?"

"No," she bluntly replied as she pushed passed him. "And you aren't cute."

"If you say so," he shrugged, the smirk still tugging on the corner of his lips. "But you did say, so..."

"Shut it, White Fox," she growled as she exited the room.

"Whatever you ask, Firecracker," he hummed as he followed behind her.

The duo continued to bicker as they traveled down a long corridor, heading out to complete the mission they were made for.
