Disclaimer: I don't own GOOD LUCK CHARLIE. This is Pre GLC and it's just a little glimpse into a day in the life of little Teddy.

"TEDDY," Amy scolded, "YOU CANNOT TRY TO SELL YOUR LITTLE BROTHER. NOW YOU SIT IN TIME OUT FOR 4 MINUTES AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU TRIED TO DO."

Time out worked well for PJ. He wasn't like Teddy. She was sensitive. Instead of doing what she was told she threw herself down on the floor and had a tantrum.

"NO FAIR," she yelled, "NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR-"

She was kicking and screaming and crying so bad snot was coming out of her nose.

"Teddy it's not a big deal," Amy said, "It's just sitting in a chair for a few minutes"

"NO FAIR," she yelled, "NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR NO FAIR-"

"Calm down," Amy said.

The last thing you want to tell a hysterical person is to come down.

"YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE," Teddy yelled.

Amy looked up surprised.

"What? Teddy of course I love you," Amy said loud enough that Teddy could hear her beyond her screaming, "Why would you think I don't love you."

"Acause," Teddy said, "You're too busy with baby and you let PJ hold baby but you never let me hold baby hardly ever and PJ gets to do all the things that I can't do and you love PJ and baby but you don't love me!"

Amy knelt to Teddy's level.

"Honey, are you feeling left out," Amy said.

"YES HUH," Teddy replied sniffling, "No fair."

"Teddy," Amy said, "Mommy just had a baby 2 weeks ago. I'm tired and sometimes I forget that you might feel left out because you're in the middle. Look honey I know you want to do things but right now you're too little to do things by yourself. You need mommy or daddy to help you."

"But I did big girl things mommy," Teddy said, "By myself. PJ dared me to."

"PJ is not the boss of you," Amy said, "And the reason that you can't hold baby Gabe is because you always want to hold him while mommy is feeding him or changing him or you want to do things like mommy."

"Because I think you're the best mommy and I wanna be just like you," Teddy said.

Amy gave her a hug.

"Sweetie I don't want you to be just like me," Amy said, "You are Teddy not mommy. I want you to be just like you. I love you for you. Nobody else has your eyes. Nobody else has your smile. Nobody else has your way of singing to your brother. Nobody else has your temperament."

"My whatamint?"

"Your personality," Amy said, "You're special. You're the perfect Teddy Duncan Doughnuts."

Teddy giggled.

"Do you know how lucky you are to be in the middle," Amy asked.

"Nu-uh," Teddy said.

"What's in the middle of a cookie," Amy asked.

"Chocolate," Teddy said.

"What's in the middle of a sandwich," Amy asked.

"Yummy meat."

Teddy smiled

"Hey PJ," she said, "I'm the chocolate."

"Okay," PJ said, "I'll be the milkshake."

Amy laughed.

"Teddy the next time you feel left out you just tell me alright?" she said

"Okay," Teddy said

She ran off to play with PJ.

"Wait… Teddy… oh never mind," Amy said with a sigh.

Baby Gabe started to cry distracting Amy once again but for once this was good for Teddy. Amy forgot all about the time out.
